A lesson in friendship

I woke abruptly holding my head in my hooves, every time I see if I can stand up I just fall back down again thinking someone is going to make me go back to sleep which seemed strangely easy.

It was my first lesson with princess Celestia and I had never felt so happy in my life, i was just about to be taught by the princess to control my power which of cause will backfire on her.

I opened the door to see Twilight outside "Did you have a nice sleep Cinos, you seemed to be in bed even shorter than me!"

"Well about two years in prison can do some things to a person like me." I said clicking my neck as I walked over to the kitchen part of the house. I got a strange, confused look from Twilight before she turned around and walked away. I could not help but wonder why she cared for me so much, no one does and i don't think they ever will knowing what I am.

I packed my stuff and left my house to Canterlot which was where i was supposed to meet the princess for the first lesson, i could only guess what I would have to go through to control the massive power inside of me, i can control it a slight bit but when  i go more than stage two of my form the insanity kicks in. It was a long way to the princess's house and not a lot happened at all, I was mainly suck on the train next to two gossiping girls and a man snoring with a untouched book next to him.

I had finally reached Canterlot and was bored out of my mind. I was covered in the smell of dead fish and old cupcakes the trains seems to give you, I knew that I should have gone upper class.

I got through the train doors and out into the fresh air when I suddenly got a spilling headache which nearly caused me to trip, It was whispering words like 'You need to wake up' and 'Dream times over now, come on!' but after realizing they were just playing with me I continued my walk up the stairs to the Canterlot castle. I could not be dreaming, this is real life and I knew that I had gone to sleep earlier today so those voices really did not make any sense.

I finally reached the grand doors of Canterlot castle and slowly heaved them open to reveal Celestia pacing back and forth next to the throne.

"You took your time Cinos, I thought you where not coming." Celestia said with a smile.

"Well i would not miss this for the world" I said with a sly grin.

"Well lets get started, the first task i want you to do for me is to try to make a few friends with Twilight, go about a little and ask people their names. I want you to get five by next lesson so i guess it homework really."

All life drained out my cheeks, i thought it was going to me sparing or maybe trying to get off some type of spell which allowed me to control my power not make friends!

"Really, i think that is five too many. I had never really had a friend after what you did" I said showing a glint of red in my eyes as well as a slight show of tears when i looked up at her.

"Well, this is your chance to change that opinion then, now on to the lesson at hand i want us to-"

I thought the lesson was about friendship but I still have a chance to fight, to show her what i was truly made of and maybe pay her back for what she has done to me.

"-see how much power you really have inside of you."

I looked up at her, confused on what she was saying, wondering what she means by 'power inside of you'.

"What do you mean by that princess, do you mean my special talent?

"Yes but this time im going to let you go all out, all this time i had placed a spell on you to stop you going insane with power and i am about to release it and see what you really can do"

I can take this as another way for saying "Hey let's spar and while your at it ill allow you to go full force!"

I got ready to attack by ducking my head down and starting to open my mind to the darkness around it, thinking only of hatred and agony for my fellow pony's, the one's who had betrayed me all this time.

What pissed me off the most was that the princess stood there looking at me as though i was filth, nothing but the trash you would chuck in the bin after wrapping a piece of loose gum in.

"YOU WILL NOT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT PRINCESS, YOU HEAR ME" I shouted focusing all my anger much more than usual but then i noticed when she had released her spell my memory's came back.

I saw myself in a school all alone, my family long dead and everyone still looking down at me.

My eye's filled with tears every day with the words hitting me like stones every day of my life, Ripping my soul to pieces one by one.

What have I become. Everyone i know goes away. You let me down, i will make you hurt.

I screamed feeling the darkness flowing through me, watching the world rip apart beneath me and the world burn around me.

There i stood laughing Until i started falling, watching the ground break below me and the sky dissolve above me as i was plunged into darkness like no other, the darkness of which you can never escape.

"Hello" came a voice like no other i have even heard before, dark and slow drifting into the moon far above, the only light source is this entire area.

"Who are you and why am i here?"

"All questions will be answered in due time but for now i will answer them as maybe then you will trust me, I am me and you and the universe and everything in between for i am darkness and i am here to help you for fill your goal of burning the world to the ground, just grab my hand and we can do this together!"

I see a hand reach out from the darkness, a shimmering hand filled with pure dark power reached out of the darkness to me and opened up, waiting for a shake of acceptance.

I reach out my hand to shake his when i am drawn out of this darkness and back into the light.

"NO!" the voice shouted after me as i returned to reality.

Princess Celestia was standing beside the object i was now trapped in. The object wrapped around me did not only have the black chains with new green glowing tips on them and in addition there where green and white ropes tied around my legs and arms.

"You performed quite a feat there, look around the prison i am holding you in."

I turned my head up and down and saw i had burn the around below and around me to ashes surprising two guards in the bottom floor.

"Now tell me, what did you see when i released the magical spell from your body?"

With my memory's back i could only think of more reasons why i should not tell the princess let alone anyone else after what they did to me when i was a child up to now?

I spat in her face and said "You bastard, why would you tell you anything after what you did to me?"

"Because i was the one to drag you out of that hell hole in the first place, try to be a bit more respectful to me in future." I could see the anger in her eye's as she said this.

"So... Sorry i guess your right, you where the one who saved me from this place so i guess you are the one who i should be thanking, the others out there do not have an excuse for what they have done to me though..."

"I promise you Cinos that i will help you get friends and see that you find the true power of friendship, that's our lesson over so come back tomorrow and remember your homework!"

"Homework my ass..." I said as i was walking out of the castle into the light of the day.

After another boring trip back to Twilight's house I saw that she was much more out of it than usual, i knew something was up so i went to ask her about it.

"Hey Twilight are you ok, you seem more out of it than usual?"

"I just got the report of your first lesson back from princess Celestia and-"

Twilight turned to smile at me and said

"-I was just wondering which one you would like to see first and would fit with your personality an i have decided..."

"Who is it, who have you decided for me to meet?"

"Another girl, her name is Rainbow Dash."

Well, she sounds cool i mean she has been names after speed and a rainbow, how can she not?

The next day i awoke to hear my own voice shouting, i could not quite make out the words but it was not Twilght who came to my aid but a baby dragon of a sort.

"Are you ok, your Twilight's friend right, well i heard you shouting so i came to try and wake you up."

"Thanks, what's your name may i ask?"

"My name is Spike, nice to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you too but i need to know where Rain Desk is, do you know her?"

"Well yeah, i know someone called Rainbow Dash and she is outside sugercube corner."

I knew i made the wrong choice by chucking him aside and just hurrying on with the question but i was running out of time and i knew that i needed to at least make one friend if i was going to make princess Celestia even a slight bit happy.

"Well ill be seeing you Spike, have fun mate!" With that i ran straight out the door and ran towards the place where sugercube corner was located using the signs around town.

As i found sugercube corner all i could see was a building saying 'come in Cinos.'

I walked inside the dark house until there was a loud BANG and then about twenty two pony's came from hiding and shouted "SURPRISE!"

I was stunned at this and fell backwards into a pink pony who was hopping over to me.

"Well did you like it because i liked it, i bet you liked it didn't you?" said this pink pony jumping up and down smiling to herself.

"Well i was surprised if that is what you wanted, yeah i guess i did like it!"

"That's great well my name is pinkie pie, what's your's?

"My name is Cinos, Cinos demonheart."

"Well that's an interesting name, do you want to come over and say hello to Rainbow Dash and the others?"

"Sure"

I walked over with pinkie pier wondering how i was doing so well with making friends this time round till i realized, the more they believed that i was their friend the easier they where to kill.

With that my smile was slightly larger but someone seemed to catch onto it, that person was Rainbow Dash.

"Hi" said a white pony rather like me but with more style and purple hair.

"H.. hello" Said a rather shy looking yellow pony.

"Hi my name is Rainbow Dash, the fastest pony in equestria" said the blue pony with wings who had come up to him and stared him straight in the eye's.

Had she caught on? did he know what i was thinking by my smile?

"Do i see a slight red tinge in your eye?" said Rainbow Dash looking deeper and coming closer to his face.

I sighed and said "Yes, you may see that but don't worry it's natural."

"Oh ok just wondering because it looks really cool!"

"Well, thanks that's really kind of you"

"No problem!"

The conversation went on about how I got here and about what i was currently doing in which i nearly always had to half lie about to avoid suspicion, it was getting clear that Rainbow Dash suspected me but for some reason i did not want to kill her, i wanted her to live but just when i starting thinking like that i heard a familiar voice say "She helped get you the way you are now, do you really want to be a so called friend with a person like that?" and i knew that i must not get carried away in my emotions.

I went home after the party which was apparently supposed to be a party welcoming to to ponyville but i was just thinking it was for the other pony's because there is no reason to go through all this hassle for one new pony is there?

I had reached Twilight's house which was not too far away from sugercube corner and i needed to pack for my lesson with Celestia but before i left Twilight caught up with me and said "Hey, how did it go?"

"Well it went good i guess i really enjoyed it, thanks for setting it up for me" I turned to her and smiled, i then got a smile back which made me quite happy.

I went to pack and get ready for Celestia's lesson, there was something about rainbow dash that i really did not understand but there was something that made me want to smile when i saw her and to hug her whenever she was near.

I pinched myself to see if i still felt pain, felt emotions long forgotten in the prison below Camelot.

There is no space in my heart for anything else with the darkness can feed on but it seems that i am still able to love, that is a good start.

A good person to deal with first before it becomes too late.

Hey guy's that is the end of my second episode, i hope you enjoyed it as much as the first because i enjoy writing it, don't worry there will be much more action in the second one, i hope you enjoyed ^_^
