Chapter 2: Black Eclipse

(Just to jog up your memory, Applebloom is telling her reason for being in Everfree forest)

Applebloom turns to my direction “I reckon that ah heard zapapples grow in Everfree so ah went to check fer’ myself see.”

Applejack gives off an angry look at her sister “Well why in world would yah go by yerself?!? Yah know as well as ah do that the Everfree is a big forest to get lost in!”

Applebloom resumes to her experience, ignoring Applejack “But before ah could find any apples, a big scary timberwolf came out of nowhere! All it did was chant You’re not sane! You’re not sane! What the buck does that mean?” That exact moment, the door burst open with the nurse standing in a grim expression.

“Excuse me Mr. Trexx? Would you go check something outside? There is a problem”. Getting up, I followed the nurse toward the front door. The front door burst into pieces with little wood bits all over the floor. Out came a nasty looking pony with thorns wrapped around it. The face was a mares but the fuzzy looking mane looked like a colt. It dripped slime and had a slim 9 feet body. The creature grabbed me, trying to choke me with its thorns. All I could do is squirm and bite but it was impossible, I was at near death.

Suddenly I was staring at a spear blade in front of me. The monster let go of me whilst screaming and melting into the same black liquid from the weretimberwolf yesterday. My eyes darted to the left and noticed that one of the guards looked very tired and had a throwing stance, the guard just looked at me with a smile.

Today was the day I became one of Celestia’s guards! It was no easy task I had to do all types of crazy shit just to be a trustworthy guard (One of them was to cover my sexy blue mane). The ceremony for the new guards was awesome (There was free food). This morning I decided to do some training for my excellent spear throwing skills, not to brag but I am a really good spear thrower! The second I stepped out I gave the air a nice deep breath and rub my dark green fur for warmth. It took couple hours but my spear finally manage to pierce the dummy in the heart. I decided to keep training until I heard mumbling behind me, it sounded like it was saying “You’re not sane”.

The mumbling continued so I went to check it out, unfortunately it was at Everfree Forest. The mumbling kept on getting louder and louder until I reached the riverbank. There stood a white pony in a robe and black mask that had only one yellow diamond eye. All it did was look at me and whisper “You’re not sane” then it disappeared. I was hella confused suddenly out of nowhere I heard screaming and crashing. I ran to check it out because since I’m a guard, I got things to control and maintain.

The second I got there it was already jam packed with guards but none of them would budge, they all seemed too scared. After going through the crowds I saw the creepiest looking thing ever, it looked like a tall pony covered in thorns. The monster grabbed somepony and began choking it. I looked to my left and right and saw that no one wanted to fight or help the pony in danger, so that’s why I grabbed my spear and threw at the… thing. It killed it instantly from the spear in its head. The pony fell on the ground choking up blood and looking at me with surprise in his eyes. All I could do is just crack a smile.
