There they were at the Ponyville cafe. They felt really hungry after satisfying eachother with the pleasurable moments that they shared together. They both looked at their little menus to see what they would both like in particular. They scrolled and scrolled through the items, and they finally decided.

"Oh, waiter." Fluttershy called to him. The waiter walked over to them as soon as she heard her sweet voice.

"Have you made your decision, miss Fluttershy?" the waiter asked in a British accent.

"I have, I will just have a dandelion sandwich, with extra pickles and lettuce please." the yellow pegasus answered

"Right away." The waiter turned his attention to Spike. "And what about you, miss Spike?"

"I'll have what she's having, except, leave it the way it is." the baby dragon replied.

"Of course, coming right up." The butler went into the kitchen to prepare Spike and Fluttershy their meals of choice. Normally, he would just go from table to another table to ask for anypony's else' order, but since Spike and Fluttershy are good friends with the great Princess Twilight Sparkle, he decided that he can give them special treatments, along with the other best friends of the princess. Since it was only a sandwich that they crave, it won't be long for them to come.

"So, Fluttershy, can I tell you something?" Spike said while he was waiting.

"Of course. What is it?"

"Well, I've been thinking and.... I miss being at Twilight's place, and.... Is it okay if I can go back with her some time, or maybe tomorrow?" Spike asked, a little sheepish. He didn't want to hurt Fluttershy's feelings. She knew how sensitive she is, and tried his best to be as gentle to her as possible.

"Oh Spike. Of course you can." Fluttershy replied

Spike was so glad to hear that. He worried that he broke her sweet, pure golden heart. "Wait... You're mp to mad at me?"

"Of course not." Said Fluttershy. "I might be a little sad by that, but I can appreciate that. After all you are Twilight's nu,ber one assistant."

Spike smiled.

"Here you go you two. Fresh sandwiches like a spring breeze." Said the butler as he gently sat the plates in front of the pair.

"Thanks." They both said in unison. Then the butler went to another table to take somepony else' order. The two heard both their stomachs growl at the same time. They looked at eachother and they both laughed. They began to eat their little lunches, bite by delicious bite.

After they were finished, they were full already, their stomachs completely filled.

"So, are you sure you're not mad Fluttershy?" Spike asked

"Of course I am not mad Spike. Nothing will ever stop me from ever loving you." Fluttershy replied to him. Spike blushed at the comment. "I understand how you feel, and how much you love being with Twilight."

"I do. I mean we had so much fun together, right?"

"Right."

It was silent again for a moment and then it broke when Spike finally said "so, what would you like to do now?"

"Hmmmmm, I think I just want to relax back home." Fluttershy said. She got off the chair and a seductive smile appeared on her face. She whispered to him "since we had some.... 'Fun' together." She giggled and then kissed him on the cheek

Spike made a foolish chuckle in response. "Ah well... you know. So I understand if you want to relax. I'm sorry if I made you... exhausted"

"Oh no, don't be sorry, Spikey-Whikey. I loved it. And thanks for understanding."

"Right. let's go" he got off the chair and he went with Fluttershy back to the cottage.

Nothing really happened back at the cottage. Angel was playing poker with a couple of other rabbits and hares for fruits or veggies, like lettuce, tomatoes, and of course, carrots. He pout as soon as a hare won another match. He along with other rabbits and hares gave him some carrots and other vegetables.

The other animals heard talking from outside, and it was Spike and Fluttershy, back from the spa. They were all happy to see them back and many of them crowded around the door to welcome them back.

"Oh, hello everyone." said Fluttershy.

The animals crowded around Fluttershy and Spike in a very friendly gesture.

"Okay, okay, that's enough." Spike laughed as he felt the noses of many critters gently nuzzling against his small body. The animals stopped their sniffing and gave them their personal space.

"I'm going to water the flowers." Said Fluttershy

"Can I help you with them?" Spike offered

"Of course you can help. I would love that." She went to the back of her cottage and pulled out her hose. Spike found a watering can, and went out with her. "I'll water the back and you can water the front okay?"

"Okay." The bay dragon went to the front of her house and poured the green watering can over the first set of flowers, which were pink petunias. He waited, and waited for the water to come out of the bottom of the pot, and he heard a few small splashes. He moved on to the next, which were yellow chrysanthemums. While he was watering, he couldn't help but wonder if Twilight was missing him right now. Of course she would miss him, because she is like a mother and or older sister to the boy. He decided to put that aside and he continued watering.

The next set of flowers were beautiful red roses. He thought of them and thought about if they rung a bell to him. Turns out it did, they were the same roses he gave to Fluttershy as a gift the other day, like how Fluttwrshy gave him that gem as a gift the same way.

It was rather nice of her to keep the flowers like this, and took it as a compliment. He watered the roses more than any other flowers in the front yard to keep them alive longer than before. He was now finished with watering the plants on the front, and out the watering can back into the house to place it back on the small table from where he just found it

He heard the back door open, and Fluttershy came back in the cottage as well. "Did you water the, okay?" She asked Spike as soon as she saw him

"Yep, and thanks for keeping the roses I gave you." Spike replied

"You're very welcome."

The baby dragon smiled and sat on the couch to relax from that little chore he helped Fluttershy with. "So, Fluttershy?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think I should tell Twilight that I am coming back tomorrow?"

"Oh, I can do that for you." Fluttershy offered kindly to him

Spike thought Bout if he should go personally or let Fluttershy do it for him while he relaxes. Finally, he said "I think I should tell her."

"Are you sure?" Fluttershy asked

"Well yeah. I'm her assistant after all." However, he made up an idea that would benefit both him and her. "How about we go together later on."

"Wonderful idea."

"I just want to relaxed, I am pooped." Spike wiped his forehead to take the sweat off of it. Fluttershy giggled at his remark

"Me too." She decided to sit down with him so that he would be more comfortable.

"Well, Fluttershy. Are you still okay about me leaving tomorrow?"

"I have no problem with it at all." The yellow pegasus answered. "I understand if you feel homesick. Whatever makes you happy, makes ME happy."

"Thanks. The same thing with you."

The yellow pegasus blushed. "This is probably the best thing to ever come into my life. I mean, look, we are now a pair, and we love eachother like a colt-friend and mare-friend. You help me with some things I do, and we sped time together outside of the cottage."

"I know, they were all fun for me." Spike agreed."when I.... You know, get back with Twilight, do you think we can still hang out with those fun things we did together if one of us wanted to?"

"Certainly. Now that we are closer than ever, and a pair, anything can be possible, even the impossible, well, as long as it's not meeting a gigantic adult dragon." She covered her eyes on fear just thinking of the last thing she said

"Ah, don't worry, I don't know any adult dragon anyway." Spike said.

"Oh, oh that's good." Fluttershy uncovered her eyes in relief.

They continued to have certain or random conversations. Many of them were like how did Fluttershy know all these animals that live in or out of the cottage, or if they would go on date often sometime in the future.

"Do you think we will see that wolf family again?" Spike asked

"I'm pretty sure we will." Fluttershy replied. "We both did a great thing for the parents by bringing their son back to them.z"

"True."

Spike was riding on Fluttershy's back on this afternoon, to Twilight's house to tell her about Spike's return. Fluttershy stopped as soon as she arrived at the front door and knocked. She heard faint footsteps from inside the library, and the door open and as expected, it was Twilight that answered it.

"Oh, hello, Fluttershy. What is it?" Twilight asked, happy to see her.

"Hello, Twilight. I came here to tell you that Spike is coming back tomorrow, because... he misses you, and he feels better now." Fluttershy answered to her

Twilight was touched about Spike missing her. "Aw, that's so sweet, Spike." she said to him with a smile. "Are you feeling alright?"

"I'm fine, Twi." Spike replied. "I just... feel better and not depressed about Fluttershy not... loving me anymore. I guess I just needed to spend some time with her to help me with that."

"I'm glad to hear that you two are now closer than ever."

"Oh we are." said Fluttershy. She turned her head to Spike, and then they both shared a short kiss on eachother's lips.

"Aww." said Twilight, finding it, really adorable to see that.

"So, is it okay if me and Fluttershy do some fun things together?" Spike asked, like he really wanted Twilight's approval.

"Of course you can." Twilight replied

Spike smiled at her answer, more happy than ever. "Okay well, See You Tomorrow, then." Was all that he had left to say to her now.

"Okay, Spike. I'll see you tomorrow. " Twilight replied to him. "And don't worry about doing too much things around here, I will help you with that when you get back

"Really?" Spike asked, happy to have some help with his usual work

Twilight nodded a yes in response to him. "See you tommorw. And thanks for coming, Fluttershy."

"Of course, by Twilight." Said Fluttershy.

Twilight smiled and closed the door. The two went back to the cottage so that they can continue their relaxation from the spa and flower watering.

Back home, they went back to the couch and sat on it. They didn't really have anything else to discuss, Spike asked her "Shy, we will always be together, right?

"Of course we will for as long as we both shall live." She replied. Those words were really deep for Spike to hear and he was really glad for her to say that, because that is all that he needed to hear from that. "Spike. I want to tell you how much you mean to mean since the day you came here with Twilight

"Okay, what's that?"

Fluttershy cleared her throat and sang:

Spike felt really happy and tears of joy came from his eyes. Those were the most beautiful lyrics that anypony would ever come up with. "That's really sweet." He said.

"Did you like that?" Fluttershy asked

"I loved it. You have the most beautiful voice that anypony has." Spike complimented. He was not wrong, her voice and her lyrics were really beautiful. "Fluttershy I... I... i feel the same way to you too."

"Thanks, Spike." Said Fluttershy, hugging him like a scaled teddy dragon. They continued hugging and telling eachother: "I love you" over and over again multiple times, not letting go of their love. It seemed more strong than Shining Armor and Princess Cadences' relation with eachother, or maybe not as much, or just as mucj, but nevertheless, Spike and Fluttershy were inseparable.

When the night came, they both gave the animals their usuals dinners, they were all happy with their food, especially Angel. When it was time for bed, they slept with eachother again for the last time, at least for a little while. There will come another time when they sleep together again, but only father time will say when the day will come.

The Next Morning

Spike and Fluttershy got up at the same time, knowing that it was the day that Spike returns to Twilight's place. They were both a little saddened, but Spike really wanted to go back and help Twilight. Spike decided to take one last shower at the cottage before he leaves. Fluttershy took one right after he was finished

"Well, i guess this is it." Spike said. He then began to she'd a tear but he looked away so that Fluttershy wouldn't see it.

"Spike, are you okay?" Fluttershy asked him. She gently placed her hoof under his chin so that he can make eye contact with her.

"I'm fine." Spike sniffed. "I'm... just going miss you." He began to shed a few more tears from his eyes.

"Oh, come here Splike." Fluttershy gave him a loving hug to cheer him up. "It won't be long. It's just for a little while."

"I know, I know. I just..." he hiccuped

"Shhhh. Let it all out, it's okay." She whispered softly in his ear to ease his sobbing. She also rubbed his back to calm him down as well.

After a few moments, Spike stopped his crying a little

"Feeling better?" She asked as she broke the hug with him

"Uh huh." Spike replied. He sniveled again, but he did stop after that.

"Would.you like to help me.with the zoo tomorrow?"

"Uh huh."

"Good..would you like me to walk you back over?"

"No thanks. I can handle it alone." Spike answered. "I promise."

"okay."

Spike opened the door and slowly went out. Before he left he said to her "bye, Fluttershy."

"Bye, Spike. I'll see you soon." She said back to him.

The baby dragon smiled back to her and he went back to Twilight's place. As he walked he looked back and waved at Fluttershy as he was going farther and farther away from the cottage. The yellow pegasus waved back to him in response.

Home at last. Spike came through the Golden Oaks Library door without knocking because he lived there. He may miss Fluttershy, but he knows that he will see her again tomorrow helping her at the zoo again.

"Twilight, I'm home." Spike called out to her.

Twilight rushed back to.him "Spike, welcome back." She said in a warm gesture. "I'm so glad you're back. Tell.mw, was it fun at the cottage?"

"Yeah, we did many fun things together. I helped her at the zoo, we went to the spa and many other things" Spike replied

Twilight giggled "that's good. Did you eat anything?"

"Eh, I decided to eat breakfast for when I came back here." Spike replied

"Well, you're in luck. Breakfast is waiting for you in the kitchen."

Spike made a happy gasp and rushed to the kitchen to see what it was. It was a large tower of Belgian waffles, with butter, some colorful gems on the side and a large strawberry on top of it. Spike's mouth went agape. He began to eat the waffle really fast.

Twilight smirked and rolled her eyes while she watched him.
