"Hey, Rainbow Daaaaaaash! Wake up already!" Soarin yelled at Rainbow Dash to get up. "Were gonna be late!"

"I'M UP! AND I'M READY!"

"Now that's the girl I know and...love..."

"Oh you." Rainbow said as she blushed.

"Now let's get going, don't wanna be late."

The two took off to the skies. Rainbow Dash had a question nagging her mind.

"Um, Soarin.."

"Yes?"

"Are we gonna tell people about....you know...us?"

Soarin's nod was enough to get Rainbow Dash nervous.

"But what about Twilight? She's my friend. How will she take the fact that I'm dating the stallion she STILL loves." Rainbow yelled out.

Rainbow just realized what she said and covered her mouth. Rainbow knew for a fact that covering her mouth didn't change the fact that Soarin still heard it. For she knew that Twilight still loved Soarin, so how would she tell her friend she was dating the stallion that her friend loved.

"That's not what I meant and I'm........Soarin?"

Rainbow scanned the sky for Soarin to see if he was anywhere in sight. She looked up and she looked down, desperately trying to find her coltfriend.

"Soarin? Soarin?! If this is a joke it certaintly isn't funny! Rainbow yelled scanning the skies for him.

"What if!- Oh NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!" Rainbow yelled out dive bombing towards the ground looking for Soarin and creating a sonic rainboom.

Meanwhile...

Soarin was looking all over for Rainbow Dash. He looked around around and suddenly...BOOM! There was a sonic boom and a rainbow at once. A sonic rainboom! Soarin only knew one mare in Equestria who could do that, and she was his marefriend. Soarin bolted toward boom and the giant rainbow trail it was leaving, for that was Rainbow Dash's trail. He broke into a very fast fly as he called out for her.

"Rainbow! Rainbow! RAINBOW DASH! I'M HERE!" Soarin repeatability yelled out. Rainbow jolted her head into the direction of the colt flying towards to her. It was Soarin.

"Soarin!"

"We gotta go tell the ponies at the academy about that, and us!" Soarin yelled.

"Agreed! Let's go!" Rainbow yelled as the lovepegasi flew off.

When Rainbow Dash and Soarin arrived at the academy crowds of pegasi surrounded her.

"Woo! Cool sonic rainboom Rainbow Dash!" Lightning Streak told her "How about we celebrate with a cool dinner, it's on me." This time, Lightning leaned out for a kiss only to have Rainbow shove him away.

"No thanks dude, I'm taken."

Rainbow Dash looked over to see Soarin mentally strangling Lightning. Rainbow Dash put her arm around Soarin's neck to hug him and calm him down. Lightning though very full of anger, as he usually got the coolest girl, than dumped her a week later, still wanted Rainbow Dash. So he yelled out in anger.

"Your dating THAT loser!"

Everyone at the academy gasped, Soarin and Rainbow Dash being the most shocked, and the others being shocked that they were dating, except for Spitfire.

"Maybe I am, ok, I am, so what, you got a problem with that?!"

"And what if I do?!"

"Then you can take that problem and get rid of it!"

"Or you can leave the academy Lightning Streak!" said a very angry Spitfire.

All the academy members looked shocked, but not as shocked at Lightning Streak was. For Lightning was one of the best pegasi on the team.

"But Spitfire he's one of the best-" Fire streak began but couldn't finish due to Spitfire shooting him an angry glare.

"Do I need an opinion out of you Fire?"

"No ma'am."

"That's what I thought." Spitfire said turning to Lightning. "Being a wonderbolt isn't only being about the best or fastest fliers, it's about getting along with a team, and teamwork, you Lightning Streak, have proved that your EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF THAT!" Spitfire snatched his wonderbolt ID away from him and pointed him away from the academy. She turned to Rainbow Dash.

"You have something you wanna tell us Rainbow?"

"Um, I, um, Soarin, you tell em!" She said shoving Soarin in front of her.

Soarin sighed. "Ok fine. Me and Rainbow Dash are a couple now."

First the team members just stood there with stone faces on. Then they all started clapping their hooves as loud as possible and started cheering for the new couple.

"Their taking it better than I thought." Rainbow dash whispered to Soarin.

The day at the academy was over. Rainbow Dash flew to Soarin.

"Hey Soarin."

"Hey Rainbow."

"I'm gonna go break the news to my friends, except for Twilight, she's in Canterlot, and actually, it's kinda good cause she's the one who will take it the hardest, considering she still likes you and I'm her best friend."

"I get it, ok Rainbow, just meet me at your house at 6:00 pm."

"Gotcha, catch you later Soarin!"

"Bye!"

Rainbow Dash was about to land at her friends picnic when she checked how much time she had.

"Ok it's almost 3:00, that gives me about 3 hours."

Rainbow Dash swooped down towards hey friends.

"Hey guys!"

The rest of the girls shot their heads up excitement, for they knew only one mare that had that voice.

"RAINBOW DASH!" They all shouted in unison.

"DASHIE! YOU CAME!" Pinkie Pie yelled out.

"Mhm, and I've got news."

Rainbow Dash sat down with her friends. She picked up a sandwich and ate it.

"So Rainbow Dash, what is this...news?"

"Ok, me, and Soarin are-"

Pinkie Pie couldn't hold it in and hushed Rainbow Dash. "Your dating a guy in the wonderbolts which is light blue and has a navy mane I think his name is Soarin but you wanted to tell us here because you know Twilight has a history with him and if you tell Twiight she'll like TOTALLY FLIP OUT! So you decided to tell US and you didn't want us telling Twilight. Am I right?"

Rainbow Dash stood there with her jaw open in shock.

"How did you know all that?" Rainbow asked out of shock and curiosity.

"Just a hunch!"

"Oh I should have remembered." Rainbow muttered under her breath. "It's Pinkie Pie."

"Did you say something darling?" Rarity asked

"What, no nothing Rarity."

"Ok, if you say so Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow Dash looked around Ponyville eating her sandwiches. She found a florist stand where Junebug was behind the counter.

"Rainbow Dash are y'all ok?"

"Oh, I'm fine Applejack."

"Ok."

Rainbow kept staring at her favourite daffodils mixed with the prettiest lavenders she's ever seen. In the bouquet there were rainbow coloured petals like the ones Discord gave Celestia a while ago. Behind Rainbow Dash were 4 of her friends.

"Whaddya suppose is wrong with RD?" Applejack asked.

"No clue, pinkie pie?" Rarity asked.

"Nope "

"Well whatever it is we gotta get to the bottom of it." Applejack said and then bit into one of granny smiths famous Apple-spice muffins.

The 3 bickered back and forth but Rainbow didn't notice. Fluttershy, on the other hand, knew exactly what was going on with Rainbow.

"Guys...guys....GUYS!" Fluttershy yelled.

She yelled loud enough so she could get the attention of the 3 but not so loud that she got Rainbow Dash out of her trance.

"Rainbow Dash is simply in love, she's either fantasizing about her special somepony or she's looking at something that reminds her of her coltfriend." Fluttershy calmly said.

"Wow Fluttershy darling, I knew so much about love with Fancy Pants, but how did you know about that?" Rarity asked.

"Simple, I know about it cause it happens when I think about Discor..."

"DISCORD?!" Rarity and Applejack yelled in unison.

"I'm howling at the moon!" Pinkie sang. "And sleeping in the middle of a summer afternoon!"

"Pinkie, stop singin, that, actually rather catchy song." Applejack said. "But still, your dating Discord?!"

Fluttershy nodded her head shyly.

"Why didn't ya tell us?"

"I was scared."

"Applejack stop, your scaring the pony." rarity cut in. "Love is love."

Applejack just spat on the ground.

"Well it's 4:30, I better get going. I have some new designs to work on."

Rainbow Dash kept staring at the flowers. She saw Soarin. Wait SOARIN?! He was approaching the florists. He obviously didn't notice her. He grabbed the bouquet Rainbow was looking at. He went to the cash pony and paid. She snapped back to reality and kept talking to her friends.

Rainbow Dash caught a glimpse of the time at Ponyville tower. 5:30...

"Hey guys, I gotta speed."

"Bye Rainbow." Applejack said.

"Ooh BYE DASHIE !" Pinkie yelled out before tackling her with a hug.

Rainbow Dash chuckled before flying off to her home. 12 minutes after she got home Soarin knocked on the door.

"Hey Soarin."

"Hey Rainbow."

"I brought you these." Soarin said. He presented the bouquet that R.D was previously looking at.

"It's..it's...."

"I know your really not one for flowers, but I know daffodils and lavenders, are your favourite flowers, and these Rainbow coloured petals reminded me of you and when I saw them-"

He was cut off when Rainbow's lips met his. Rainbow chuckled.

"Now I know the nice way to shut you up."

"Oh Rainbow, do you want the flowers or not."

"Oh I'm taking the gift!"

The two lovepegasi walked inside Rainbow's house. Rainbow Dash hoped the night could last forever.
