Star Striker's Forgotten Memories

Previous Chapter

Star Striker was born into a unicorn family extremely gifted in magic.  He was raised to learn magic above all else, and by the time he was 5, his magic matched that of the family's head.  Within a month, his magic went above and beyond that and his parents feared what may happen if he were to become corrupted by the magic power he may gain.  Their fears were realized when he was celebrating being officially of age to be considered a magic master in the family.  During his test, he became corrupted with the energy he had been using, and went against all rules and killed his opponent.  He struck the stallion with a laser through the brain, then  made a knife appear, which he threw through the stallion's heart.  His parents were the first to try to calm him, but he fired a giant magic blast at the two of them, which they both ran from.  The family head came down and explained he would have to be killed if he went any further.  He lifted her into the air and rained knives on her, killing her in seconds from hitting necessary organs.

A week later, his parents challenged him to a magic duel, which he accepted, not knowing of their secret plan.  One of them would distract him, and the other would have to cut of his magic somehow.  How that would be done was unknown to them.  When their battle started, his mother charged at him as a distraction, and his father charged his magic.  Star jumped over his mother and charged his father, attempting to kill him with his bare hooves.  His father fired magic bolts at him, but Star reflected them and they all went right through his father's body, killing him and ruining the plan.  His mother charged at him angrily, and he fired a shot of magic through her body, which would kill her in seconds.  In her last moments, she grabbed his horn and snapped it, and used her last bits of energy to teleport him to the nearest orphanage and erase his memories of those years.  However she could not complete the erasing before her life ended, and the memory lurks in his head of those years when he was young, and he would eventually come to remember everything.  Whether he would become corrupt again or learn from his mistakes was unknown, and he was left with nothing.
