Chapter 1

*BWOOOOOOOOOOSSHHH*

She plowed right past the door and rightfully moved on to locking the entrance door that she just came in through.

"Whew," she uttered in relief, with her back against the door and eyes closed. She was panting from the amazing dash she just performed to get out of that unexpected situation. She never expected him to be just a dozen meters behind Pinkie right after being at the Bakery. Thankfully, he was talking to his friends, none of whom caught eye of her. His friends had previously been in the Bakery with him. The same friends who mocked me, she remembered, rolling her eyes in frustration.

She opened her eyes, looking upwards. She had remembered about Pinkie. She felt horrible for ditching her. I really hope Pinkie Pie didn't take it as me ditching her to get out of her question. Pondering on what to do next, she put Pinkie above everyone and everything else tomorrow. Starting tomorrow, she will apologize to Pinkie.

Feeling better about herself apologizing to Pinkie tomorrow and therefore feeling less guilt, she got back up on her hooves and started walking up the stairs. I should also apologize and thank Dimples for taking over my spot. He was always there to support her and now, she too walked out on hi-

"OH! APPLE COBBIE, DEAR?"

Apple Cobbler's walk up to her room was cut short, her mother's affectionate voice came from the kitchen.

Walking back down the stairs, she turned left and as she was about to enter the kitchen, she smelt the distinct scent of cinnamon. They say that the more you eat, smell, or see of something over a certain period of time, it leaves less of an impression on you than the first time you were exposed to it. But that wasn't the case with cinnamon, let alone her mom's cooking in general. To Apple Cobbler and many other ponies who have taken a bite or more of her mom's, dishes, it never feels old and instead, tasted as good as before if not better in some cases.

The same couldn't be said for Apple Cobbler though.

"You called, mom?" Apple Cobbler asked timidly, her head peeking from the wall.

"Oh Cobbie, I didn't expect you to be back so early," her mom turned her eyes to Apple Cobbler tucked away in the corner. She looked troubled, "Is something wrong, dear?"

"Uhh, yeah, I guess I'm feeling a bit under the weather today," she said in a uneasy tone. She didn't want to dwell on the colt she liked by mentioning him to her, so it was best to not mention anything about him, she thought. "Dimples is looking after the Bakery now, mom," she assured her.

"What a sweet colt," her mom said blissfully, stirring the mix in the bowl.

Apple Cobbler took a good view of the kitchen. Sliced apples, used butter, and baking kitchenware littered the table that was centered in the middle of the room. Certain parts of the table and floor was covered in flour. That's my mom... another typical day at home, she thought, softly smiling.

"Cobbie, do you remember about Wednesday?" her mother asked, without looking at Apple Cobbler.

Not wanting to be lost for words or sound irresponsible, even though she honestly forgot, she uttered, "Well, Wednesday's the day, uhh, the day..."

"The day either Princess Celestia or Luna visit Ponyville," she reminded, "I read in the papers that either two are visiting small towns all over Equestria to promote new businesses. . And I know my Cobbie will blow them away"

Aww rotten apples, what could've made me forge- wait, never mind, she rolled her eyes at how unfortunate her life's been after being constantly reminded about... him.

"Heh, heh heh... totally, mom," she replied, trying to sound confident but it came out unconvincingly, instead.

"Oh, speaking of 'blowing them away', sweetie, I saw a couple pictures of the colt you liked, that'll... 'blow you away' in the Daily Mare papers today."

Apple Cobbler's eyes slightly widened.

"I didn't know he was part of the Thunderbolts, dear. Oh my Cob!" her mom's face became excited, "My young sweet Cobbie might get together with a Thunderbolt!" her mom said gleefully, jumping up and down, consumed by how stimulating that notion was.

"Dashing, aerodynamic, brave, and just plain... charming," she said in awe, gleeing.

Apple Cobbler turned red, embarrassed and uneasy by her mom pushing him right in her face but more so from how ridiculous her mom is acting at the knowledge of him being a member of the Thunderbolt.

"Alllriiigght, mom," she began walking up the stairs to her room, "I guess I'll leave you to your cooking and your... secret obsession with the colt I like," Apple Cobbler teased, chuckling as she closed the door.

"He'll be flying through the skies, holding hooves with my own daughter like in Supermar- Wait, what?" she said, stopped short when she realized what Apple Cobbler had said.

Wow, what happened here? She panned left to right, remembering the mess of a room she had left two days ago. And now, it was all gone. Her clothes weren't on the floor, her bed was done, and her work desk seemed cleared. All thanks to her mom.

"I really do take ponies for granted, lately" Apple Cobbler said to herself, feeling a bit guilty. She wasn't the one who showed her appreciation for other ponies directly. Her timidness meant that she mostly uttered 'Thank you' or 'I really appreciate it' in a very apprehensive tone. Instead, she usually preferred to offer help some time in the future, or better yet, bake sweets for them. Though, she wouldn't join them in partaking the sweets unless they asked.

Her mother on the other hand, was a different story. Apple Cobbler's sign of appreciation to her was to never give up hope. Her mom was ever so supportive of her. Her mom knew how Apple Cobbler's self confidence was... different from many. Being teased and called Four Eyes as a young filly affected her self confidence, deeply.

Apple Cobbler's cutie mark of a... apple cobbler (not surprisingly) couldn't have been possible if her mom wasn't there to support her all the way. And in the end, Apple Cobbler made the finest apple cobbler dish in Ponyville Elementary Eat-Out Competition, gaining her cutie mark at an age when most of other classmates were getting cutie marks as well. From then on, Apple Cobbler's resilience was all that was needed to make her mom wake up every morning with a smile.

"I really wish I can forget about him right now," she wished quietly out loud. Her infatuation with the colt has lately distracted her not only at work but also in her personal life. Case and point, her room that is often tidied by her herself, NOT by her mom.

She walked up to her desk, taking a seat before thinking what to do next. I could write up a list of things I need for Wednesday, in three days, or maybe I'll just start reading MAR3STR- "Huh?" she said, perplexed. There was a newspaper on her desk. She took a closer look at it. It was the Daily Mare. It usually covered the biggest stories all across Equestria. and saw a provoking picture on the cover page.

Her heart pounding, trouble breathing, and anxiety rising. She was on the verge of fainting, but she managed to keep her eyes open and shrunken pupils focused on the image.

"H-he was... kissing another pony!??!"

The picture showed him being sandwiched between two ponies, the Valley Girl ponies. One of which he was kissing and the other having his hooves over her shoulder. It seemed like it was a house party since Ponyville didn't have an official place for these types of parties. Most parties in Ponyville were organized by Pinkie, and everypony knew how her parties were. They weren't as rave-like as this one, so it was likely that she had no part in this party.

She turned the page to the actual article and started reading the important parts through skimming. "... This happened last night?" she said out loud. Again, too shocked to keep it i-

"COBBIE???"

She barely heard her mother's voice through the door, but she was desperate for anything in order to break this 'madness'.

"MY HOOVES ARE FULL! CAN YOU BE A DEAR AND OPEN THE DOOR? WE HAVE A GUEST!"

Whew!. Apple Cobbler wiped the sweat off her forehead. As she got up, she turned the paper over to the backside and put it in a drawer. But then all of her composure disappeared when she had a sudden realization.

Oh no... *Pinkie Pie***, she dreaded.

Please let it not be Pinkie, she wished while walking out of her room. I've had enough of any more antics for one day. She can't imagine experiencing any more anxiety or panic attacks. First the incident at Sweet Affairs, then Pinkie and him showing up, then the competition on Wednesday, THEN him being on the Daily Mare, kissing those- those Valley Girl ponies, and now... Pinkie's back to torment me. She would usually feel saddened by it but now, she was irritated. Her frown turned into a scowl. She was ready to scream at her.

"Why can't you understand that I just want..." she turned the door knob and the door opened, "...TO BE ALONE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, PINKIE PIE!!!! AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Umm... something wrong, cuz?"

Uhhhh... that's not Pinkie's voice.

"GOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, MY LITTLE PONIES!!! This is Scoops, here with the Morning News, bringing you the latest in Equestrian Affairs. Speaking of affairs, Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor may well have their long-awaited second honeymoon in Roam, after all. Because of recent events and our brave mares and colts fighting the good fight, we may be seeing those Stripes wave the white flags within this very week or the next. But more on that after these sponsors..."

Ugghhh... just tell me if it's a sunny day or not.

The right side of his face was buried in the pillow. The other eye, barely opened, noticed how rather brightly lit the room was. Hmph, must be eig-

"Eight O' Clock, lady mares and gentle colts. And it is one bright morning! You know what that means. It's time you get your flanks out of bed and either get back to work or hurry your flanks to the supermart, because the line's getting longer everyday. For anyone wishing to get their supplies in the afternoon... heh, I hope you bring your sleeping bags."

He struggled getting out of bed. On one hoof, it was beyond comfortable. On the other hoof, he couldn't stand Scoops' voice early in the morning. So damn obnoxious, seriously.

Several minutes passed by...

Still in bed... not a good sign, Riskie. But then again, it's not like my job pays me alo-

He felt something warm against him back, sliding downwards. He turned around and saw that she was awake. "Hey, sweetie. Did you sleep well?" He asked, feeling his hoof on her light honey cheeks.

"I slept well, Riskie," she replied, smiling. "Aren't you going to ask... "him", too?"

Idiot me. He leaned towards her stomach, "Hey there," he said, quietly, "How'd you sleep?"

He put his left ear against her stomach, whispering, "I don't blame you if you couldn't sleep well. Her snoring and all," he joked. He looked up and saw her rolling her eyes, amused.

"Aren't you going to be late to work?" she asked.

"Um, the chief said I could come by later this after-"

"Noon? Again?" she interrupted. She saw Riskie's face, filled with guilt. "Honey, I know how much you dislike going to your job. And this isn't the first time you told me that," she told him. He looked at her, seeing how upset she was from her frown. Damn it, why did I lie to her, again?

"I thought you wanted to protect people, Riskie. Isn't that why you became a fire fighter?"

"I know, but what am I doing for the good of the ponies? Putting out fires because somepony left the stove on, sitting around for hours wasting time at the station, and rescuing kittens from trees? I'm pretty sure my actions here are definitely helping the ponies at the front who are giving their lives for us. I feel like I'm wasting time here, Candy Mare" He sarcastically contemplated.

"Riskie... without ponies like you, the ponies here would have more trouble living their lives here. You're here to remind the ponies that even at war, some good can still be made. And while no other pony may ever recognize it, I will."

"Huh, I... I never thought about it that way," he uttered, stupefied. He face palmed himself, feeling both guilty for lying and like a jerk about his job. "I feel like a total jerk, Candy. I'm sorry."

"Hey, it's alright. I wasn't that hurt. And besides...," He again, then felt her hooves against his, holding them together, "I hate the Chief too!" she said, grinning. Hmph, she's still got her humour. She then pecked his cheek and moved onto to the curtains. She pulled the curtains open and the two were blinded by light. The bedroom gleamed at the sunlight. Both tried blocking the sunlight with their hooves.

"Jeez, Scoops was right," she admitted, knowing that Riskie would've hated that. "This is one bright day."

"Yeah... It's like the skies are burning"

Chapter 3

"Why can't you understand that I just want TO BE ALONE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, PINKIE PIE!!!! AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

Apple Cobbler was so gripped with frustration. So much so, that she kept her eyes closed while and even after shouting at Pinkie.

"Umm... something wrong, cuz?"

Wait... that's not Pinkie Pie's voice. Oh no...

She knew whose voice that was. Apple Cobbler slowly opened her eyes, certain of who she was going to see.

"You alright, hon? You looked purdy angr- I mean, uhh, worried back there." Applejack said, showing concern for Apple Cobbler.

Applejack, awwwww no. Apple Cobbler turned her eyes away from AJ. Applejack was just there standing, looking confused but at the same time, her face also showed signs of being amused. She kinda thought it was amusing to see Apple Cobbler's... over-assertive side, for once.

Apple Cobbler couldn't believe what she just did to her cousin. But she was more appalled that she could've been yelling at Pinkie Pie. While Pinkie can, admittedly, sometimes be too determined for her own good and invade somepony else's privacy to do so, in the end of the day, all she'd want was to put a smile on your face, or at the very least, help you with your troubles. In fact, Apple Cobbler had and would never yelled at any pony... until now.

Despite her heart pounding, the tremendous weight of guilt and the sheer embarrassment, she managed to center her eyes back at Applejack, forcing out an apology.

"I'm terribly sorry, AJ. Terribly, terribly, TERRIBLY sorry. I just had a stressful da-"

"OH, APPLEJACK!" her mom popped out of nowhere from behind, startling the two. "I'm so glad that you could come after all to help with Apple Cobbie."

"Help me with wh-"

"Not a problem, Miss," Applejack replied to Mrs. Cobbler, not knowing that she interrupted Apple Cobbler, "I decided to clear two acres of apples earlier than usual so I can help my cuz here."

"Awww, how nice."

"Um, Mom..." her mom turned to Apple Cobbler, she finally got her attention, "Can you please tell me why Applejack's here?" she asked, hoping it wouldn't offend Applejack.

"Oh sweetie, didn't I tell you about Applejack coming to help you fetch the freshest and finest apples for Wednesday."

Apple Cobbler swayed her head, hinting at a clear, 'No'.

"Huh, I wonder why I never told you about it just earlier before."

Yeah, it's a mystery, she sarcastically thought in a disgruntled manner. She couldn't believe how much almost everything that is transpiring around her is a result of her crush. To recap: her mental health both at work and home, the unwanted and random encounters (including Applejack) and the competition on Wednesday were all somehow linked to her feelings for him. She had a strong suspicion that her mom forgot to mention about Applejack because of him.

No, maybe she was distracted by other things like cooking and how well I'll do on Wednesday, she told herself. Why would I even think like that? feeling bad for doubting her mom.

"Alrighty then, ma'am. We best be off to Apple Acres. C'mon, AC, we got some apples need bucking." Swaying her hair before turning around to head to the

"Cobbie, before you go. Can I have a word, with you? ... I'm didn't mean to make the day worse for you or distract you with... him, but deep down, I kinda got carried away but that was because I was that happy because I was happy for you.

REASON WHY HE KISSED: "Heh, I uhh, had a bit too much apple cider that night... a certain special type of cider" (drunk)

I'm terribly sorry, Applejack.

It's important because Dimples and I just started our business. Most close within a month or two because of how hard it is to attract ponies, already usual customers to places like the Sugarcube Corner, AND pay for the costs at the same time.

"Why, a nice, timid, and cute pony like you can probably win his heart," Applejack encouraged.

Apple Cobbler subtly smiled, but deep inside, it boosted her confidence greatly. Coming from Applejack, the honest of ponies in Ponyville, was indeed, something to not be taken lightly.

"So uhh, who's the lucky colt you're bringing to Apple Acres for lunch one of these days, cuz?"

Applejack is asked by

"Oh, did I forget to tell you about your cousin, Applejack, coming over?" she pondered.

I wonder why, Apple Cobbler sarcastically thought, referring to her mom obsessing over him earlier.

DIMPLES IS GAY

Applejack wants to bake goods for Rainbow Dash and her friends so they go to the farm to get fresh apples.

Applejack:You're not like Fluttershy, Cobbie. You

After it is revealed that Soarin' is who she likes, Pinkie is investigating the book store. There happened to be a group shot of the ponies in line. And she bases who Cobbler might on her glasses and timidness (Gizmo, and etc.)

tension: Princess Luna or Celestia are about to visit Ponyville and the Sweet Affairs store might be visited. Because of Apple Cobbler's recent complication with Soarin', she hasn't been as focused at work. Worse, she hasn't made her special Apple Cobbler (cutie mark) because of this and her inferiority complex (thinking it sucks)

In the end, she gets in trouble by her mom for leaving to go to Soarin's party (with fake look) without permission and on the day eve of the arrival. Sobbing on her balcony, Soarin' appears nearby and flies up to her. Cobbler tells him that she's sick of being the good girl, the intelligent one, the timid one. Soarin' then tells her, "Y'know, that's kinda the reason what I like about you. Glasses and all" puts on her glasses and asks if he can help her with her Apple Cobbler tomorrow (learn more about Soarin's geekier and Apple Cobbler's less geekier side). His love for pie helps her bake te best Apple cobbler on the arrival.

A short lived Golden Age

"Where did it all go wrong?"

A popular question brought up by many in dark times.

The Wedding between Shining Armor and Princess Cadence marked a turning point in the history of not just ponies, but Zebras, Griffons, Dogs, Donkeys, and all other walks of life. But more specifically, it was the attack on Canterlot by the Changelings. The near successful infiltration by the Queen of the Changelings had weakened the protective barrier enveloping countless ponies. The Queen had come close to actually fulfilling her dreams, having captured Princess Celestia, the Mane Five, and holding the whole city by its throat. But the unbreakable bond shared between Shining Armor and Princess Cadence formed a power so unmatched that it thwarted her invasion and, for the following years, any threat from the Changelings to Canterlot or Ponykind.

To many, it was a decisive victory and a beautiful wedding never to be forgotten in the annals of history. To others, it was a sign of defeat to all of Equestria. Many, from members in the Royal Court to Captains of the Guard throughout Equestria saw how the future of Ponykind was almost lost in one single momentous day. These complaints were brought up to Celestia, who herself was defeated by somepony she had never seen and thus, wrongly underestimated her strength, leading to Celestia's defeat and capture by the Queen.

It was a dead serious matter that couldn't have been ruled out as 'coincidental'. Within that one year, Nightmare Moon's return almost enveloped the world in eternal darkness, Discord's release brought anarchy to Ponyville and possibly all of Equestria eventually, and finally, the infiltration and near success on the Wedding Day by the Changelings could've brought Equestria down to its knees. And what was scary to these ponies concerned with this was that it had always been mainly thanks to the Mane Five that these threats were stomped out. Who would've been able to stop them if the Mane Five... failed? The growing reports of the gates of Tartarus, weakening and eventual collapse could mean a continent wide disaster, something five gifted ponies can't stop alone.

The most direct complaint was targeted towards Princess Celestia herself. Some have questioned whether she has been aware of these series of unfortunate events and have even considered on acting upon them. Others question have even suggested that she was mainly to blame for jeopardizing everypony.

Princess Celestia finally came to a conclusion several days later.

She was going to give up substantial power she once held before. The Mane Five, who she entrusted with the Elements of Harmony,

from Princess Celestia, the Mane Five of the Elements of Harmony, several important figures in the Royal Canterlot Ministry, and all those within the city.

For better or worse, but at the time, no pony could have seen what

Day 7 - 10:30

"Bye girls!" Twilight called, waving at them as they parted ways at the train station. They also waved back, each going in different directions to their respected homes. Twilight turned tail and began walking back home. It's kinda sad Spike left early. Then again, he *is** a baby dragon and he does need his sleep, instead of- :yawning: staying up late for a week in Canterlot.*

It had been a long week, a long and exhausting one to say the least. First the trip to Canterlot, followed by Twilight failing to convince ponies around her that Princess Cadence was not who they believed it was to be, fighting off a Changeling invasion, the Celebration night, and finally a week's stay at Canterlot with her friends. Other than the unfortunate attack by the Changelings, Twilight also had to unfortunately send Spike home. Sorry Spike, she told herself.

She then heard *thuds* getting louder behind her. She turned to see Rarity trotting towards Twilight, leaving Pinkie alone. I thought she was going with Pinkie to Sugarcube Corner

"You mind if I accompany you back home, Twilight?" Rarity asked. "Pinkie just realized the Cakes weren't back yet, so I can't get cake for poor widdle Spike."

"Can't Pinkie still give you the cake? She is an employee at Sugarcubes Corner after all."

"Pinkie forgot the keys," Rarity said in a jaded tone, "so she's staying with the Apples for now. Do you still mind if I still accompany you back, Twilight?"

"Not at all, Rarity. I don't mind somepony coming along with. Besides, it's nice to have company," Twilight answered, grinning as the two walked away from the train station.

The two walked in town, noticing familiar faces from the Wedding. Some places were still closed because of the Wedding, some ponies are arriving later than others. They reminisced about the fun times they had in Canterlot and talked about more personal subjects. It was a great way to end the year off with as they were approaching the New Year in just a few days.

They eventually arrived at the library, Twilight's Home, and it was time for the two to say goodbye.

"Thanks for the escort, Twilight. I simply loved getting to know more about your brother."

"Not a problem, Rarity. I think I should've told you girls about him, before."

"Not a problem, dearie," she said, showing her very Canterlot accent there, "Was a dreadful shame that Princess Celestia wasn't around after the Wedding Day," she lamented, showing a small hint of having a frown.

"That's true, but I guess she had more important obligations to tend to," Twilight replied, trying to give reason to why Celestia couldn't be around.

Rarity then directed herself to the right, where her home was and began walking off in that direction. After a couple seconds, Rarity turned her head back.

"Oh Twilight? Can you not tell Spikey-Wikey about the cake. I don't want the poor little dear to feel any worse, him knowing that we couldn't get cake and all."

Twilight nodded, giving Rarity a sense of ease. "Got it!" Twilight said, "Bye, Rarity!" Twilight ended, waving at her.

Twilight turned to the door. I never thought I'd be this glad to be home... oh who am I kidding, I've been dying to read some books since forever while at Canterlot, she thought, excruciatingly excited to get back to her everyday life.

She pushed open the door and walked up the stairs.

"Spike? You here?" she called, anticipating an enthusiastic 'TWILIGHT!' or 'I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK!' from Spike. "I got you a cool new bowler hat- *GASP*"

She saw Spike's lifeless body on the ground in the middle of the library room, his frontside laying on the floor.

"SPIKE!" she cried out, fearing that Spike may be hurt.

She dropped the bowler hat that she was levitating with her magic and raced towards Spike and turned him over so he can properly breath. She saw drool running down his cheek, something he does often when he sleeps, she joked even though it was not the time and place. She could hear him still breathing through his mouth when she pressed her ear closer towards his mouth, something dangerous when it comes to dragons, especially Spike who more than one occasion, unintentionally seared her face with green flames when she tried waking him up waaay before the time he normally wakes up at. It was faint but Spike was still able to breathe normally. Thank goodness he's okay... now how do I wake him up? she asked, puzzled.

She tried waking him up by talking to him, repeating his name and telling him to snap out of it. A minute passed by, Spike still was motionless. Huh, words won't wake him up, but maybe jolting him a bit may. She walked up to Spike and picked him up with her two front hooves but hesistated when she saw how small he was. She didn't want to over do it with the shaking. Maybe a little shake won't hurt. Contrary to what she had planned to do, she began shaking his body repeatedly, rattling his small body violently and sending his head backwards and downwards which would've caused him to wake up (and possibly injure his neck). But again, this came with no success.

Huhhh... I can't seem to wake him up physically or by soun- Wait! Twilight's eyes widened at this revelation, An awakening spell, that's it!

"Don't worry, Spike," she began charging up her horn, "I'll have you up in no time," she said blasted

"Don't worry, I'll tell Spike about the Cakes. I'm sure he'll appreciate your intentions, though.

"Sorry Twilight, we should've listend to you."

"It's not your fault. She fooled every pony."

"Hmmm... I did, didn't I?"

Fluttershy's home is raided by a Tartarus Raiding party. They ransack the place and kidnap Fluttershy and her pets. They kidnap her so they can get past a dragon which they think Fluttershy can tame. The dragon is protecting a chest of scrolls that General Ziro is after on Black Mountain. These scrolls once belonged to the Pegasi Kingdom up north centuries ago before they were purposely lost to a dragon to keep it from being captured. It could tip the balance of the war, giving the controller the knowledge of Megaspells, archaic spells used centuries ago even before the Celestial Sisters were born that destroyed the old world and created what is now Equestria. The Raiders are being paid by General Ziro to acquire this chest. However, when they realize what this chest possess, they decide to tell Ziro by bird that they demand triple the amount paid. Ziro, angered and not willing to pay them that much, plans to kill them when he meets them. Rainbow Dash and her Jumpers track the raiders and Fluttershy to Port Haven, a small port controlled by Zebras to the east of Ponyville/Everfree forest. There, Ziro personally executes the raiders and brings Fluttershy and the chest into the Ironclad. Fluttershy is used as hostage so the ponies can't harm the ship. All the ship has to do is reach the southern ports of Equestria where the Zebra main force is located in. the Blockade denies the REC navy to stop the ship without getting through the blockade. Fortunately, the North send in three of their Ironclads (less armor) to help RD. The plan is to distract Ziro by firing weaker projectiles that'll bounce off the armor while RD strikes from above, with a few men. Roid Rage pummels through the plating from above and lands in the cell where Fluttershy and the chest was held. Ziro reacts ruthlessly, killing the surviving Jumpers on board except Roid Rage. He sends his zebras down to the cell and Roid Rage tries to get the chest but he can't hold it while holding Fluttershy, who is exhausted and wounded from her torture/treatment. Roid Rage calls RD that he can't make it back with the chest and Fluttershy. RD makes the decision to sink the ship with a Sonic Rainboom. Roid Rage tells Fluttershy to keep down and he covered her as Rainbow Dash did a Sonic Rainbomb strike on the ship, obliterating the deck. They escape and Ziro is teleported away from the ship as it is pounded by the FNE ships to smithereens.

A Crystalline Missile is also launched at Tartarus, ending the threat of the horde. However, this is to allow Changelings to takeover Tartarus and have Equestria for themselves instead of the Horde invading Equestria for themselves.

Blood Diamond

Twilight wants to inspect how Rarity is doing. Last she heard, Rarity had moved into the gemstones industry. Forming a company called, Opalescence, named after her cat.

"Have you lately thought about how generous you've been, Rarity?"

Rarity stopped dead in her tracks, not necessarily offended but more shocked by Twilight's assumptions. "Twilie, dear. I cannot believe that you think I've been ungenerous or selfish lately. As a matter of fact, my products are the cheapest across all over Equestria." Twilight then saw Rarity using her magic to bring forth a whole gemstone from one of the carts along the walkway. "This bedazzling gemstone of this size would sell for 10,000 pieces, at the very least. Opalescence would charge one tenth of that price, Twilight."

Twilight was not impressed by the gem, even as Rarity was rotating it to show off the natural curves. Instead, Twilight glared at Rarity, flabbergasted at how oblivious Rarity was of her surroundings. "Rarity..." she began, in a disgruntled tone, "what I mean was that you haven't been that fair to

"I do suppose I haven't been living up to my title," she admitted, looking away from Twilight because of guilt.

The ballroom was grand in scale. In fact, it resembled the Grand hall in Canterlot in terms of size and structural design, but with its own ethnic aesthetic to it. The white color tone was replaced with a yellow-ish/brown-ish one and the use of bamboo as pillars and other structures gave the ball a very native and natural feeling.

"Ugghh" Rainbow Dash groaned.

"What's wrong Rainbow Dash?" Twilight asked. She tended to turn her head back when adressing to another pony while walking forwards, something that might prove difficult in a ballroom.

Zebras, Cheetahs, antelopes, and including ponies were all present in the ballroom. Most the two saw seemed to be from a wealthier class, suggested by their upper class clothing one would see the more affluent parts of Canterlot. The rest seemed like officers or from some Military rank, judging by their medals, ribbons, and other decorations.

"Ahhh, another one of General Razak's uninspired strategies: Send out more patrols," someone said in the crowd.

"Who said that?" Rainbow Dash asked, wondering who behind them in the crowd made that stament.

General Razak let out a sigh, "Colonel Ziro," he answered indifferently.

"Please, General Razak, I prefer Battlemaster Ziro." he replied complacently. "Military ranks used by you ponies," he then turned his attention to Razak, "and unfortunately by these non-natives, are mere titles usually not gained through valor, skill or even through combat experience."

"Um, what's the difference between Colonel and Battlemaster, if I may ask?" Twilight asked.

"A Colonel and all those other 'universal' military ranks can be gained without ever setting foot in combat. A Battlemaster is someone who has earned his title on the battlefield, fighting alongside his brothers and sisters. And besides, Battlemaster is much more... 'intimidating' than Colonel."

"My hoof against your face would be intimidating," Rainbow Dash whispered out loud and rolling her eyes.

Twilight hears this and quickly pulls Rainbow Dash's face towards hers, away from Ziro's direction. Without trying to get his attention, Twilight tries whispering. "Rainbow Dash, you don't say these out loud even if you did, quietly..." she took a glimpse at Ziro and looked back into Rainbow Dash, "and in front of them."

Rainbow Dash groaned, "Ugghh... sorry, Twilight. I usually don't like the type of ponies that boasts about themselves."

"You must be Rainbow Dash," Ziro indicated, stepping closer towards them. "Captain of the Wonderbolts, I heard."

Rainbow Dash slightly brushed, it was one of those questions that always caused her to hesitate. "Eheheh, "future" Captain of the Wonderbolts, Colonel."

Ziro raised an eyebrow. "I heard about your exploits rounding up the entire Diamond Dog network, help repelling the Changeling attack, defeating an Ursa Major, and achieving the legendary 'Sonic Rainboom', am I right? Such achievements don't go unrewarded."

"Yeah, that's mostly right. A pegasus only becomes Captain of the Wonderbolts if they pass a test. And I usually do better in the moment, not being monitored or anything by dozens of ponies, y'know."

"Ahhh, I see. A pity then. It's a shame only through pre-planned and fixed tests can you rise in the ranks," he said, taking a sip of his beverage. "The parallels between us and the ponies are all too similar, would you not agree, General Razak?" turning his head towards Razak.

General Razak's face tightened, irritated and slandered by Colonel Ziro's unsubtle remarks. "Colonel Ziro, I do believe these fine ponies have other guests to meet and other priorities such as locating their friend, Rarity. And I'm sure you also want to get to know the faces around here. You should start making friends now that you're standing among us now," he said relaxingly, managing to keep his cool.

Ziro took both of their frontal left hooves and gave a peck on each. "Till we meet again, my little ponies. I hope the next time we meet, it is on... better conditions than here," he ended, still sounding smuggish in front of them.

"Sorry, that Zebra has been a thorn in my side ever since he was promoted a few months ago. He's been boasting about his unorthodox tactics to everyone since then."

"Unorthodox tactics?"

"Ziro has a very different view on military strategies. On the battlefield, he often experiments with , but nevermind about him, I'm sure the Empress is available now. You should go see.

Villains

Zebricans:

General Razak- a cheetah from a long line of . A do-it-by-the-book commander, he

Warmaster Ziro- Challenges anyone above his rank or equal commanders who he thinks is unfit for duty. His new tactics were revolutionary and often well executed. Instead of engaging hundreds of battles or sending direct force to fight, he believes in fear being the most effective weapon. Given the smaller Zebrican army compared to the Equestrian and Northern forces, he tries to minimalize casualties but maximize damage. He will send saboteurs behind enemy lines, disrupting communications and creating chaos and fear. He puts emphasis on heavier, larger and more armored tanks because while he sacrifices mobillity, he creates fear on the battlefield. He rarely losing means that he can sometimes be overconfident,

General Trench- Due to Warmaster Ziro's disappearance, General Trench replaces him and takes command of the Southern Army. With very few tanks, men, and supplies, he decides to stay on the defensive, holdout as long as they can until reinforcements or a surrender is reached. His doctrine is to fight to the death and bleed the larger Equestrian armies of their manpower.

Gilda- A griffon warrior in the Griffon Military, she is a key instigator in the Schisms. After the incident in Ponyville years back, Gilda returns to the Griffon Kingdom, looking for something to kill time. She joins the Military but her short temperedness and inabillity to get along with others keep her from being sent to the war. When Butcher Bird starts rambling about how the King is weakening the empire. She joins in and the two help create schisms in the Kingdom. After she helps kill the King, she takes command of the army and when the War for Equestria hits, she leads her forces and attacks the Wonderbolts/Jumpers harassing the Zebricans. She meets Rainbow Dash in combat and the two initially fight, Gilda still mad over Rainbow Dash for choosing Pinkie over her. But Rainbow Dash tries telling her that Gilda shouldn't be fighting ponies. The two fight to a standstill, before leaving the battlefield. Butcher Bird hears of Gilda and Rainbow Dash hesitant to attack one another and tels her to show no mercy to Rainbow Dash. The same goes for Rainbow Dash, Pryde tells her that it will be hard but she needs to. Butcher Bird then sends Gilda to fight over Cloudsdale. After the two decide not to kill each other, Gilda still remains under Butcher Bird's side. However, one day, a pair of griffons capture Pinkie Pie. Butcher Bird tries convincing Gilda to exact revenge on Pinkie since it would prove her loyalty, attract Rainbow Dash (to come alone or else Pinkie dies), and make Gilda feel 'satisfied' at getting back at her. Gilda, more reformed and wouldn't ever doing this, refuses. Butcher Bird then tells her that if she does not do so, then she will gut Pinkie Pie herself. Gilda has no choice but to torture Pinkie if she doesnt want her killed. Rainbow Dash then arrives alone, into a trap. She is furious seeing Pinkie bloodied and tries fighting them all but fails, at their mercy. But then, the Shadowbolts appear and scare off the Griffons. Before Butcher Bird leaves, she lies to RD that Gilda enjoyed beating Pinkie Pie. During the liberation of Glyphon, Gilda is tasked with the garrison and is ordered to fight to the death. However, she lost faith in Butcher Bird and secretly ignores the infiltration by RD and Condor who fight Butcher Bird and kill her. Gilda refuses the fight to the death order and surrenders peacefully. When she sees eye to eye with RD, RD tells Gilda that she hopes to see Gilda rot in prison. Gilda tells her that Butcher Bird gave her no choice. RD tells her that she knows that, meaning that she knows Gilda would have never enjoyed beating Pinkie but still cant forgive Gilda for still beating Pinkie. A bitter end to their friendship.

She admits that her main reason to supporting the schism is because of ponies beating griffons, as Pinkie beat her years back.

Butcher Bird-

Hammer & Sickle Brothers- Revolutionaries from the Crimson Uprising in Stalliongrad, they become the Military dictators of Stalliongrad. They and others believe in global Communitism and willing to spread their ideas to independent states. However, the Griffons find this threatening and decide to occupy these settlements violently. The brothers decide to send military forces to fight the Griffons and 'liberate' the smaller settlements. The 'Foxy War' begins, claiming many civilians in the crossfire, while the Mane Six secretly aid the civillians and local resistance. They lose the Foxy Wars and the Griffons, supported by Equestria and other independent states launch an attack on Stalliongrad. At first, they are pushed back and the city is on the verge of collapse, but then, weather arrives that prevents the airborne Griffons from attacking from above or flying. They cannot find food since smaller animals are hibenating and it is impossible to send food through the snow. With this, the Hammer and Sickle brothers crush the Griffon armies. Despite treated like heroes, the creation of two parties, military and civillian overthrows the dual dictatorship , putting Sickle in jail for plotting to release Parasprites against the pony supporters of the Griffons even during peace. The dual dictatorship also ends because of their warmongering instead of aiming for a peaceful future. After M-Day, military influence and support for Hammer and Sickle increase. With Equestria weakened, the two talk of taking advantage of their situation, expanding so they can better defend their borders. Crimson soldiers loyal to the brothers break him out of prison and take over the government. They tell Anastasia, captive, that she will be joining her father soon, that they killed Red Eye because he was a thorn to them like Anastasia was. But thanks to Honest Hooves or Mane Six (DUNNO), a popular uprising removes them from power and they flee. They are then found on a train to Ponyville, containing the parasprites (Maybe AJ goes with?). They plan to unleash it to remove any chances Equestria being a threat to Stalliongrad again. What follows is a train mission, the ponies have to make their way to the front and stop the two brothers from releasing parasprites. Sickle realizes they may be stopped by a obstruction therefore plans to set the crate full of parasprites to be released if the crate is destroyed. Rarity blinds Hammer who is about to fire at Applejack, Applejack then ties Hammers hoof to the side, making him fire on reaction, hitting Sickle who is about to set the crate to release if . Anastasia then has a clear view of Sickle and fires, landing on a grenade, killing the two instantly and the ponies jump off the train, the train hits a barrier created by Shining Armor, and explodes, killing the parasprites instead of releasing them.

Despite their ruthlessness against their own ponies, a number of ponies still think the brothers saved Stalliongrad.

Heroes

Pryde- A commander in the Royal Equestrian military, she is a key figure in the War against Zebricans. Her father being a Captain of the Royal Guard, she wishes to live up to him. She serves in the Whole War, returning with experience and leadership. She favors a Chess-based warfare, inflicting maximum casualties at any cost to drain the enemy of manpower and supplies. Very much offensive and the defense is designed to slow down the enemy allowing for a strong counter attack to follow through. Like General Razak, she believes in Mobility and heavy hitting attacks. Difference is, that she has the manpower to not just stir fear, but encircle and destroy a smaller Zebrican army.

In short: Strong fast offensive, weak defense unless strong counter offensive and through superior numbers.

She is often calm under stress, but can be temperamental when defeated. She seems like a soldier on the outside, demanding discipline and total control over her subordinates. But when talking to her outside the battlefield, she is very caring and cynical about the war, hoping a close end. She is a do-it-by-the-book general, wishing to end and fight the war honorably. She can be reckless and underestimates her enemies but she is usually cautious and aware of things when everything is going too well.

Lavender- Brother of Pryde, he is her twin brother. Both joined the Royal Guards and served in the Changeling Invasion.

Spitfire- captain of the Special Forces, Wonderbolts. She takes strict direct commands from Celestia, and only from other commanders if Celestia allows it. Her team specializes hostage rescues, precision strikes, infiltration, and air combat. and

Rainbow Dash- Pryde tells her that no matter how painful it is, she must have the will to kill Gilda if needed. Rainbow Dash is lost, feeling the issue of loyalty and friendship. Shining Armor- tends to join his ponies in combat, much to Cadence's and Twilight's dismay.

Red Eye- A Crimson dead shot, he is a respected member in the Military. However, his voice of concern to how Stalliongrad should interact with the outside world is taken as a direct challenge to the Hammer and Sickle Brothers. They want to spread Communitism globally, violent if need to while Red Eye wants Stalliongrad to make friends, live in coexistance with one another. However, the tensions of war are too high and the Griffon's efforts at halting peace talks makes many ponies side with Hammer and Sickle. By the Grand Patriotic War, Red Eye is a thorn to Hammer and Sickle. They want to get rid of him but when the time is right. Wanting to bolster morale and discipline, the brothers send a message to those in the fronts, including Red Eye to fall back. They are then accused of retreating and are prepared to be executed. They tell their comrades that a message was sent by the leaders but Hammer and Sickle say theses are false excuses to save their own tails. Also, saying this was treason. Therefore, the Hammer and Sickle brothers personally kill Red Eye and others.

Anastasia- daughter of Red Eye, she was very close to her father, accompanying him on hunting parties and training to be a sniper like him. When she hears that Red Eye was killed for cowardice, she initially refuses to believe it but Hammer and Sickle's manipulation make her accept that and believe it was for the better good, making the Crimson army stand its ground. She becomes an expert sniper in the war, fighting in the outskirts and ruins of Stalliongrad, at a very young age no less. After the war, she joins the Party and help bring democracy to Stalliongrad. However,

Foxy Wars-

The Whole War- When 'the Troubles' hit the Sprawl, Zebrica was severely weakened and could face a failed state without food and poor morale. Ziro and other commanders, including General Razak though indifferently because there was no other option, pressure the Empress to allow annexing Camelu to increase food supply. She decides to give in and the annexation begins. Initially, there is no resistance by the rather peaceful trading country of Camelu, but when Zebrican forces raid farms and warehouses for food and riches, the Camelu forces decide to fight back but are crushed by Zebrican tactics and armor. The Camels decide to send their riches to neighboring Cervidas by ship as well as resistance leaders. Unsatisfied by the lack of resources and that most of the riches fled to Cervidas, the Military suggest taking Cervid to not only take back the Camel riches and resistance leaders, but also to gain control of the Cervid rich soil lands perfect for agriculture. The Mane Six are sent to Cervidas to help the country.

Redheart Brigade- Nurse Redheart with Fluttershy's consent, forms the Redheart Brigade. A brigade of pony doctors and nurses to be sent to Cervidas .

Appleseed Brigade- When news of the Mane Six going to Cervidas to help the country, ponies especially from the Midwest (Appleloosa)

Future Officers- Some of the ponies serving in the Whole War will become leading figures in the equestrian military. The war is the first war to be fought with new technology by the Equestrians, meaning those who survive will come back with experience from the war. Steadfast enthusiatically joins in the Appleseed Brigade, believing the journey will be an adventure. Instead, his friends will die and he will witness the horrors of war. Pryde, a rising officer in the Equestrian Military, will lead her ponies against the Zebricans, gaining experience

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy- Both try to help the refugees and prepare the Deer Civillians to survive in the possible war. Fluttershy tends to the medical care and aid to refugees, training the deers

Applejack and Rainbow Dash- Both argue how the Deers should defend themselves. AJ suggests the Militia army of the Deers should fight the massively technologically superior Zebrican army through Irregular Warfare. Ambushes, hit and run, stretch the Zebrican forces out and hit supply lines, and etc. A war of attrition over a long period of time might force the Zebricans to leave.

Rainbow Dash believes that the deers should engage in irregular warfare, but perform more offensive strategies to maximize casualties and lightning strikes

Basically, the difference is AJ favors harassing the enemy, with little casualties over a long period of time. RD favors harassing the enemy more aggressively at any cost over a shorter period of time.

The Grand Patriotic War- After winning in the Foxy Wars, the Griffons saw how resilient and dangerous the Crimson army can be. A threat that had to be put out as soon as possible. Before the War for Equestria, the Griffons, supported by neighboring states launched a massive attack into Stalliongrad territory. At first, the ponies are pushed back and the city is on the verge of collapse, but then, weather arrives that prevents the airborne Griffons from attacking from above or flying. They cannot find food since smaller animals are hibernating and it is impossible to send food through the snow. With this, the Crimson army surround the Griffons held in the city and crush two entire armies by spring. A third of other army survives and retreats back to the Kingdom. This war is seen as a decisive victory by the Crimson army. The Griffon Kingdom loses 2/5ths of its army in Stalliongrad and schisms within the Griffon military starts forming, one defending the King and the other blaming the king and thinking he is unfit to rule. The War scars Stalliongrad, the city will require years of rebuilding. But for now, Stalliongrad was safe and was to not be bothered in the War for Equestria.

The Schisms- Griffons look at weakness with a sore thumb. This goes for the ruler as well. When the Griffons lose the Grand Patriotic War, a split between supporters and those losing faith in the King forms. Gild and Butcher Bird rise up against the king, causing a civil war. They kill the king and supporters flee to the Blizzard Bergs. Gilda lets Butcher Bird rule while Gilda commands the army. When the War for Equestria hits, the two join the Zebricans to defeat the Equestrians, who they see as being in a weaker position and therefore, they may restrengthen the weakened Griffon Kingdom. Condor, a griffon, leads the Supporters and wishes to reclaim the throne back.

War For Equestria:

Battle for Cloudsdale/the Skies: When the Griffons join the Zebricans, they decide to attack Cloudsdale, weakening the Air superiority the Pegasi have over the Zebricans. The Griffons are supported by Zebricans who use Sky Ships to land troops in Cloudsdale and fire at airborne Pegasi (also use mass teleportation spells). Cloudsdale is caught by surprise and the Wonderbolts and their garrison cannot hold off the armada. Rainbow Dash and her Pegasi Jumpers return to Cloudsdale to relieve the Pegasi garrison. Spike and Cadence are also there, and Spike happens to need to defend her. Condor and her followers also aid in fighting the Griffons, where Condor actually fights Butcher Bird. RD fights through swarms of Griffons and meets Gilda. RD tries reasoning with Gilda but Gilda attacks and RD gives up on talking, angry after Gilda claws her face. The two go at it before Gilda has RD by the throat. RD tells her that despite being a jerk, she still saw Gilda as a friend. This causes Gilda to stop choking Rainbow Dash. Just in time, the Veil Pegasi arrive and destroy the Zebrican/Griffon force, routing them. Condor and Butcher Bird's fight remains unresolved. Cadence prior to the attack, had just made a agreement with the Veil that would have the Veil come to Cloudsdale aid if attacked.

Liberation of Gryphus (after or before M-Day): Condor and Butcher Bird fight once and for all. Gilda despite orders to fight to the death with her men, disobeys her after losing faith in her because of the incident with Pinkie Pie and surrenders.

The Empress- a Zebra, she is an empress of Zebrica. Her cousin is Zecora. She does what's best for her people, often listening to her advisors who even might suggest war. She is conflicted with what she wants to do and what her people might want (Wars). However, when the Crystal Wind hits the Sprawl, she decides to break peace talks. Ziro thus attempts a coup and puts her in captivity for treason. Thankfully, Zecora, the Mane Six, Cadence, and loyalists (native ponies, zebras, and etc.) rescue her and defeat Ziro's regime.

Battlemaster/Warmaster Ziro- ... Ziro refuses to surrender, losing honor. But does he die or taken prisoner??? What ever the outcome, the War for Equestria is officially over

Flip Flop Company/School ponies

Cheerilie- still school teacher, she likes to keep in touch with her former students. However, she knows that a number of her students are now involved in the War for Equestria. Saddened but what it has all come down to, she nevertheless tries to meet them from time to time.

Snips and Snails- They graduate from school and are drafted into the army. When Cheerilee comes to meet the CMC, they tell her that Snips and Snails unfortunately died defending their ground.

Featherweight- Photographer for the War. He tries to cover the war as realistically as possible, following characters (Cadence) and war events. However, he is captured by Zebrican forces and tortured. He is rescued but is shot from behind on his escape. With no rescue from the jumpers or Airborne Pegasi medical teams any time soon enough, he dies.

Twist- drafted into the army, she finds training too difficult and a career she doesn't want to pursue. Cheerilie is able to convince the recruitment center to allow for her leave. Twist goes into the bakery, taking over Pinkie Pie's job in the Sugarcube Corner. When war hits, she's disappointed that she can't be help to her friends on the front lines. Cheerilie suggests that she go bring them desserts from time to time.

Diamond Tiara- Because she botched the Cutie Mark Crusaders' apple supplies in a Apple family Contest (to get back at Applebloom and her friends), her father (who is good friends with the Apple family) is enraged at her and when the ponies become of age, she begs her dad to not go to the military. Her father wants her to know discipline and punish her for the incident earlier. At training, she acts like she wanted to be in the military to the other ponies but she deep down inside wants out. There, Silver Spoon comforts her and is her only friend there, growing intimate feelings for one another. When war hits, she is part of the Flip Flop Company. Her father is in coma after he protected Grandma Smith from a car crash while walking and conversing on the streets of Ponyville, which means Diamond Tiara can't get out of there. When he comes out of coma, he realizes that he also has cancer and not that much long to live. He desperately asks to the Army if Diamond Tiara can see him one last time. He promises her that he'll get her out of the war but suddenly, news of featherweight being captured makes her return to Flip Flop Company. With Featherweight dying, he asks her what's she doing here and learns that she's leaving. He asks that if she goes into journalism, please cover the realities of the war. She leaves her friends and her lover but now is publishing the stories and facts of the war.

Flip Flop Company- the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Diamond Tiara & Silver Spoon, Snips and Snails, later Pipsqueak, and Officer Fuse. The team is called Flip Flop because while they barely passed with the lowest scores, they have the luck of succeeding, turning the tails around. They have the safest and least combated area at the battlefield, often sitting around doing nothing unless the CMC pressure the already volatile but caring officer or by doing something crazy that drags the whole company into it.

Goalpost

Goalpost- The Benson and Kempai officer of the story. He formerly worked at the Pony Express Mail Delivery, and his short temper due to foul ups by ponies such as Derpy Hooves made him infamous, bursting into rage and coming close to firing those who couldn't make the correct deliveries. However, he never did fire anypony. When he isn't ticked off, he often pays higher salaries than most ponies and brings his team to go have lunch or dinner, of which he is paying for. ANd generally, he is a nice pony to talk to. However, one day, he had no ponyelse but Derpy to send a delivery to Princess Celestia. She screws up and the day after, when he reads the newspaper, the Party that required the cake never made it to Celestia and Derpy accidentally said it was Goalpost who sent it (believing nothing bad would happen in the interview... DITZY), making him sound responsible for sending someone clumsy for something important. He becomes furious when she arrives at that moment and bursts into a rage, calling Derpy:

"YOU'RE SO CLUMSY AND FORGETFUL THAT YOU DRIVE ME NUTS!!!! CAN'T YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME ONCE IN YOUR WORTHLESS LIFE?!?! 'CAUSE IF YOU DID, YOU'D SEE THAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TEACH YOU SOME SIMPLE RESPONSIBILITY, SOME PRIDE IN DOING A JOB WELL DONE!!!! BUT YOU WOULDN'T KNOW A JOB WELL DONE IF YOU PAID SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR YOU, AND EVEN THEN YOU'D SCREW IT ALL UP ON THE ACCOUNT THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN FOLLOW THE SIMPLIEST OF INSTRUCTIONS, WORRYING MORE ABOUT MUFFINS THAN DOING YOUR JOB!!!!"

Unfortunately, Princess Celestia was present there who came through the entrance to the post office (Derpy through the back). Princess Celestia sees Derpy cry and regrettably, she had to ask for him to leave his job.

His life then went downhill, he lost his apartment due to high costs and no revenue to pay back, every pony on the streets hate him for his screw up sending Derpy on a super important delivery (even though they don't know that Derpy was the only one who was available) and raging on poor Derpy. Derpy tries finding Goalpost but fails to in the streets and apartment. However, she eventually sees him walk out of a recruitment center. Derpy tells him she's sorry and that she'll try to convince Celestia to let him take back the job and fix everything. But Goalpost tells her not to bother. He already will be shipping off tomorrow, possibly training new recruits.

"All I'll ever be good at is shouting... and making other ponies feel sad," Goalpost paused for a bit, trying to find the courage to say it, "and useless."

...

Goalpost then sighed, opening his eyes.

"...Good bye Derpy."

He starts walking off, Derpy about to burst into tears.

She begins looking left to right, biting her lower lip and putting a hoof against her chin, trying to find something to stop him.

"Umm, uhh... how bout I bake you a muffin, and we can eat a muffin I'll bake..." she sees how far he is already, losing hope, "...together."

During the war, when he is injured , he is sent to a hospital in a city where Derpy coincidentally bumps into him while delivering mail to the hospital. He is allowed to go have lunch, which Derpy says is an overdue one and that it was for getting him kicked out. She then gives another gift, one from her heart. A muffin and she says it was made especially for him and that she had feelings for him. Over the next few days, the two get to know each other better but he has to be sent back to the frontlines soon. He says he can't promise he'll be back but he will yell out her name if he goes down so everypony would know that he loves her.

It is revealed to either Derpy (during the war) or the CMC that the origins of him yelling was that he never got anypony's attention as a filly, overshadowed by classmates and even by his siblings. He also says why he is short tempered, being constantly blamed for everything (team mates fail to do the work, he's blamed by the teacher or etc.) made him have a short fuse.

Equipment

Vietnam Era Uniforms- Camo uniforms only issued to Recon units because the Olive uniform was more affordable and faster to produce. The fact that most ponies don't wear full uniforms and show off their coating gives no purpose to wear camo, which should totally cover one's body. The main reason is that Equestria has varied terrain and that the war could happen anywher, meaning that camoflage for forests may work against the desert Also, the olive uniforms looked more presentable than regular camo according to Rarity.

Flip Flop Company Stories

A member of the CMC may be taken away to another unit. The CMC and others try to get her back
On a festival day, the CMC are told to fix a tank they broke at camp. Rarity was at the festival and Sweetie Bell asks if they should take the Tank to get to the Festival, even if the tank is in bad shape. They agree and roll out of camp. However, they lose control of the steering and the tank plows through buildings and causing a mess of the festival. Goalpost is furious but stops when Celestia comes to the CMC's aid. The confrontation between the two makes Goalpost step away (his past that is revealed later). Celestia scolds the CMC for putting ponies in danger, but said ever pony makes mistakes, and the intention was good (seeing Rarity).
With Goalpost in hospital, Officer Whiplash comes in and brutally leads the Flip Flop Company.

Royalists- Dedicated to Celestia, they believe Celestia, despite her mistakes, should retain her powers. Numerically outnumbered, they generally are the guards who have been close to Celestia (personal guard, escort, and etc.).

Loyalists- ponies who claim they are loyal to Equestria, they feel that Celestia has been irresponsible in handling Equestria's future. Many are Guards who saw first hand the Changeling invasion and saw how weak and unprepared they were. They are split on how much power should be stripped from Celestia, giving more power to the Court,

Twilight activates the Elements of Harmony in the Tower and is transported to a white room with the dead Celestia appearing. They both are happy to see each other but Celestia tells Twilight the bad news that the Elements of Harmony require 'the decision'. Because the world has been ravaged, millions dead and an uncertain future, the elements of Harmony require the activator to make a choice that will determine the future AND past of Equestria.

Celestia: "And always remember, Twilight Sparkle, my dear student. Friendship is Magic"

THE LIGHT AT THE END

Malestare opens a portal that brings Twilight back into the Elements of Harmony realm, thanks to her friends as well. He tells Celestia and everyone else that his necklace Luna gave could send the ponies just before Celestia was defeated by Chrysalis. His necklace had kept him alive for years, and it could be used to send the ponies back to help Celestia but at the cost of the Malestare everyone knew (flamboyant, charming, etc.) possibly never existing. Twilight thanks him and he asks: This is good... isn't it?

They are transported back to the Canterlot Wedding. As Cadence wakes up Shining Armor, Luna arrives and frees her sister. Combined, all four use their magic to defeat Chrysalis permanently.

This shows that the major part that caused Shattered Dreams was the sisterhood and trust between them. Also, it removes the threat of

Rainbow Dash decides to help Scootaloo fly, allowing her to successfully fly. However, this makes her late to the Wonderbolt entry.She fails (like before in the Shattered Dreams universe) and is disappointed. Ziro is there, admiring her skill and determination and that they should meet some time in the future.

Derpy and Goalpost- Derpy

Grandma Smith dies peacefully, not suffering from any competition and stress caused by modernization of agriculture. While with Applejack bucking apples, she rests against a tree, telling how proud she is of Big Macintosh, Applejack and Applebloom. She asks Applejack to stop overworking, put faith in others and give opportunities to those in need. Applejack says she promises and that when they get back, she and the rest of the family are going to bake her favorites. "Sounds mighty... sweet of you all" she said, before Applejack found out she died.

Applejack invites the Lovedance family, who are financially in trouble (reason why Lovedance joined the army in Shattered Dimensions, to pay for his family's poverty). Lovedance was also Applejack's love interest.

Minute Mares (MM)

The militia force of RED. With Equestria's borders being vast and in case the RA (Regular Army) can't protect all of Equestria, Minutemares are there to protect the far reaches of its borders. Generally, Minute Mares are undesired and ponies only become minute mares if they barely pass the minimal points for Basic Training. Ponies nearer Canterlot and other Major cities have less of a chance to become Minutemares as the RED Command wants as much able bodied pony in the Regular Army. The pay is minimal and their chances of survival if attacked is also adverse. They wear Camp-Wear uniforms due to shortage of RA uniforms for everypony.

Regular Army (RA) later renamed Grenadiers

The backbone of RED Forces. All ponies are required to enter the RA, scoring well above the minimal points. They wear the standard olive or gray-blue color uniforms. They wear either their steel helmets, field caps, or cadet caps. They range between fairly trained to well trained. Their role is to There are ___ subsets in the RA.

-Coltgrenadiers (CG):

Coltgrenadiers are advanced heavy infantry of the Regular Army. Membership into the Coltgrenadiers is only through passing ACE (Advanced Combat Exam) or distinguishing oneself on the battlefield. Their uniform, like Jumpers, are camouflaged with 'Splinter Camouflage', from Autumn to Spring variants. They have higher morale, better experienced veterans, and are better armed with heavy weapons to wreak havoc on tanks and infantry. Often, they are used for major offensives or to defend a critical point on the battlefield (Camo + Heavy Weapons + Morale)

-Army Rangers:

The spiritual successor to the Appleseed Rangers, Army Rangers are the advanced light infantry of RED Force. The use of rangers in Cervidas showed how effective a lightly equipped soldier can deal immense damage on the enemy with speed and ferocity. They wear Splintered Camouflaged uniforms and only Field/Cadet Camps. Their role is to harass the enemy, using the surrounding environment to their advantage and fleeing into the forest/mountain, readying to launch another hit-and-run. Basically, they fight a war of attrition. Also, because of their better marksmanship with rifles and light anti-tank arms, they like to go Mare/Tank Hunting.

AirBorn:

The air force of the RED Force. Exclusive and mandatory to Pegasi, they can only enter the Jumpers by passing the flight exam, speed and maneuverability. Pegasi who fail to pass the exam are turned to the Regular Army. Their helmets lack the rolled-over edges due to flight issues (slows them down as air is being pushed against the edges). There are three subsets in the AirBorn:

-Divers: Tasked with bombing operations, divers basically dive toward their targets and releasing bomb payloads with high or low accuracy (carpet bombing). They wear a light blue or gray-blue variant of the uniform.

-Jumpers: Like the CG, they wear splinter camouflaged uniforms. Though they stick out in the skies, it is irrevelant because the role of Jumpers is to land behind Roaman lines and causing havoc and providing reconnaisance

-ThunderBolts (TB): The elite AirBorn unit, they are one of the most Elite fighting force. Being mostly made up of Wonderbolts due to their exceptional skills, the ThunderBolts are tasked with the riskiest missions. Because of their small size and invaluable worth, they are rarely used but for hostage rescues, infiltration amidst major AirBorn operations, and high-value targets. This also means most ThunderBolts will be leading Jumpers and Divers.

Lunar Guards (LG)

Originally Luna's personal guards, they would become the most elite fighting force of the RED forces. Wearing a gray variant of the RA uniform, but their most distinct look is the mask resembling a skull's jaw, covering their mouth. Their helmet also has an insignia saying: 'LG'. LG are not part of the Regular Army because neither Luna or Celestia wanted the LG to be associated with the RA as their appearance and sometimes ruthless tactics would give the other military branche a bad name. Most LG are former coltgrenadiers or are from the Jumpers. Those who join the LG make a sacrifice, some losing their Ponity to achieve the greater good. Some even have their status state that they're missing so family members and friends would not know that they have joined one of the most elite and feared organizations. They are armed with regular firearms but with addons and other modifications. Most LG Due to their small size and elite status, LG units are primarily used to escort Princess Luna and other important figures, participate in large critical battles as trump cards, suppression roles to squash out uprisings, and hold areas to the last mare. This and their looks have made them the most feared force in the RED Force's arsenal. They exist to create the sense of order, control, and fear towards their enemies. It is said that their skull mouthpiece is made of dragon bones, providing amor to protect their mouths

Equestrian Maritime Fleet (EMF)

Story: When the Roamans surprise attack the fleet, most of the surface navy is destroyed, but the Pride and a few other pocket ships escape to New Saddle or Canterbury. The majority of submarines also slip past the Roaman fleet, they would spend the war sinking convoys and ships.

Traits:

The Royal Equestrian Defense Force, like the

Armored Warfare: The RED Armored force initially tried to imitate the Roamans with their light fast tanks (Panzer 2 and 3's). However, due to smaller industrial efficiency, the ponies have much less tanks. As a result, ________ suggests that they create a medium tank that can be easily upgraded (instead of producing another one) to adapt to the battlefield and to not produce another tank for that role (Panzer 4). They also cut corners with their tank destroyers by creating a casement TD, which not only is cheaper but it also allows a bigger gun. Their TD are well armored and great gun but cannot rotate turret. They have a few heavy tanks (Tiger Tanks)

Strengths:

-Technology. WIth Twilight supervising

-Shortcuts/resourceful. In spite of being behind the Roaman War Machine in both the amount and abillity to produce war materiel, they make use of the limited resources and find shortcuts to increase output without drastically

-Cooperative leadership.

-Morality. Even LG Units, who are often portrayed as the cruel, objectivist, and cold blooded fighting force of Equestria have shown sympathy and valuing other lives over theirs. A small detachment of LGs are sent to a small village to make a final stand to protect retreating RA ponies. However, the village is caught in the crossfire, they require evacuation. However, the LG need to dig in and prepare for the oncoming assault. It is calculated that if the LGs dig in, they would be able to not only allow the retreating ponies to survive, but also hold the line. On the other hand, the LGs can evacuate the pony populace but futilely hold the line only to be overwhelmed and crushed. Thanks to Pinkie, she manages to convince the the lieutenant to save the village ponies, going against the order from RED Command. They send off Pinkie and the rest while they hold out, eventually being overwhelmed. Regardless, their heroic efforts slow down the Roaman forces enough for both village ponies and RA ponies to escape and form a more unfavorable but a sufficient new line of defense closer to Canterlot.

Weaknesses:

-When the war starts, most of the army is not well trained enough for war, not enough equipment for every division, only half of the army is worthy for combat, and nearly non-existant logistics system (have yet to implement mules and instead, the ponies and the rather limited trains for logistics),

-Initially suffers from a lack of chain of command, separate branches (RA and AirBorn) reduces combat effeciency and unit cooperation

-Lack of equivalent Armour initially.

-Playing Catch-Up. RED was prepared for war, but not ready to fight a war. Military Build-Up started at the beginning of Season 2, whereas the Roaman Republic began arming for war in Mid-Season 1. RED desperately tried to catch up with the Roaman Forces, trying to increase production of war materiel and at the same time, produce a good amount of domestic goods to please the populace. Strains on the Military budget resulted in a shortage of armour and naval vessels. They are also unable to erect much of their heavy fortifications in time, resulting in early defeats. During a military showing in Mid-Season 2 at a stadium in Canterlot, the tanks are ordered to drive around the stadium to create the impression that there were more tanks than there actually was. which the Roaman Republic managed to put more focus on War Materiel over domestic g

Offensive:

Defensive: While they may not construct heavy fortified bunkers like Roaman forces (who intend to hold onto their positions), RED Forces focuses on topographical elements and the stature of ponies. Because heavy fortifications take much longer to construct and invaluable if lost, RED believes in quickly constructed defenses (i.e. trenches, sandbags, foxholes) and use of the surrounding environment. Hiding Because most ponies are short in stature, they can easily dig in faster (less ground to dig if shorter) and get in and out of foxholes more faster.

-Mix of Different species: The Military of the Roam is made up of Zebras, Ponies, Dogs, Cheetahs, Boars, Goats, Rhinos and Griffons. Each species offers a role to fill-in during combat.

-Early Mobilization: Because of the Troubles, the City State of Zevera quickly rearmed itself for expansionism to save its economy and people. Conquest of neighboring city states in Zebrica gained Zevera industrial capacity to produce more goods and better share out goods all throughout Zebrica. The con

Weaknesses:

-Different Species: A problem with the amount of different species is that they are locked in very specific roles and morale varies amongst the species. Since different species are locked to their specific roles, i.e. Rhinos serving as Chargers and Dogs as sappers, they cannot easily be adapted to different situations which often happens in war, especially when the two combatants (Equestria and Roam) are deadlocked and relatively equal. Also, cetain species whose roles are more menial have a smaller allegiance to a nation that has subjugated its people and forced them into a war.

-Leadership Power Struggle. There is a major power struggle in the Roaman Military. Much of the generals and commanders are egoistic, refusing to cooperate with one another due to differences in military doctrine and personal grudges. While the Empress can intervene and force cooperation, most of the cooperation is half-hearted and a ploy.

-Scorched Earth Policy/Terror Tactics:

-Racial Superiority: Being united by Zebrica, many species under the Roaman Military are subjected to a caste-like system of discrimination. Zebras, Cheetahs, and Griffons see themselves as being the superior species. Because of this, most officer roles are given to these three species, ponies as well but only certain amounts. Other races, dogs, boars, ponies, goats, and rhinos are treated as tools and cannon fodder.

Armored Warfare: The Roaman tanks are mostly light fast tanks (Stuarts) designed to break through defenses and take as much land (Equestrian lands are vast). Their TD's are lightly armored but good AP (Wolverines). They also have heavy tanks that are slow but are deadly and induce fear (King Tigers)

Current Episodes

Unknowns: Spike and his new trainer search for a way to keep Spike from turning into an adult. This is done by slaying a dragon (shows the extent to which one dragon will do) and being loved. However, neither the two know what 'love' it means (whether it's popularity, appreciated, loved as a pet like Twilight). Instead, he finds out it's the love of Rarity, who he erased from his memories ever since she started ignoring him

-Derpy and Goalpost flashbacks

-Fluttershy is tasked with infiltrating a prison as a zebra (Zecora's magic can temporarily transform a pony into a zebra).

-AJ and Rarity go to Stalliongrad to form relations but find themselves saving the Flim Flam Brothers.

-Battle of Phillydelphia. Bad Company find themselves in urban warfare. Steadfast saves Scootaloo in battle. A battalion of LG arrive and use Bad Company and others to reach their objectives, pushing them beyond their limits. At the end of the battle, they want to report the LG to RED Command for disregarding their lives but the LG are treated as heroes, saving other pony soldiers who couldve lost their lives if the battle had continued for weeks. Somepony in Bad Company vows that they'll make the LG pay

-Pinkie Pie is captured and tortured by Gilda against her will. RD follows them without her friends so Pinkie Pie wouldn't be harmed. She knows it's a trap but goes in anyway. Fluttershy secretly follows her and risks her life to save RD. Angered by Fluttershy's brave act and near death by Butcher Bird, RD nearly beats Butcher Bird before she escapes with her flock back to Griffon Kingdom.

-AJ decides to get her eyes 'fixed' by Twilight's magic, but on the battlefield, a mortar shell knocks her enhanced vision out and Arcade/Skips comes to her rescue. Giving her back the glasses she left behind in S01

-Battle of Cloudsdale. Griffons attack

S01E01: Twilight comes upon Trixie, living in the streets of Manehatten, poor and desperate for money, resorting from poor tricks to even sexual services. Twilight wants to help but Trixie's stubbornness makes her unapproachable.

S01: AJ loses her vision, is chased by trade unions, and finds herself trapped in Ponyville.

S01: Twilight visits Luna to see how she's doing in the Citadel. She finds out that Luna has gotten more isolated, back to where she started.

S01 Near End: Rarity is kidnapped by Diamond Dogs in Roam and taken to a lost city full of treasures. The Mane Five go looking for her, meeting the future antagonists (Ziro, Razak, and etc.)

S01 Near End: the Mane Six are tasked with redesigning the army. Rarity with the Uniform. AJ with equipment. Fluttershy with the March. Pinkie Pie with the publicity (posters). Rainbow Dash with the formations. Twilight with the organization of all 5 aspects.

S02 (many episodes): Training of Flip Flop Company

S02: To Kill a Mocking Dragon.

A dragon has threatened to destroy Ponyville if asked to move out. Instead, RED forces decide remove this dragon and to set an example. Twilight is there, meets Rainbow Dash who's there to respond to the Dragon if it attacks, Fluttershy who's been asked to help talk some sense into him (Dragonshy episode) and Rarity, who heard from somepony (______) that Spike is there. Rarity is afraid to show her feelings to Spike because of the long absence and that she currently has a boyfriend now. The Pegasi learn how to defeat dragons.

S02 or S03:

The Buffalo and Ponies in the West are disputing over food shortages. When the town of Appleloosa sides with Equestria, the RED Army deny the only road of entrance to reach the buffalos for the Zebricans so Equestria can defend its Western borders. The Zebricans have been asked to help cultivate sustainable farming lands for Buffalos to live off rather than depend on the Appleloosa inhabitants. The Buffalos also see the presence of RED forces stationed along its western borders as a sign that they see the buffalos as threats because of their recent links with one another. Pinkie arrives there to resolve the situation but that makes both sides remember the total failure she made by trying to sing a song.

S03: A LG Battalion is ordered to hold a town to protect retreating RED forces. However, the inhabitants require evacuation.

Focus: Pinkie Pie

S03 or S04: There is an argument between the Mane Six on materiel allocation. i.e. Rarity wants winter clothing for the civillians. RD and AJ want it for the soldiers freezing to death without winter clothing.

S03 or S04: The Zebricans sue for peace, but demanding that they hold onto the southern regions of Equestria. Celestia, wanting to end the insufferable war and bring peace, decides to give in. However, on her way to the Chariot, she is shot in the head by a hidden sniper. RD and Twilight chase down the perpetrator but to no avail.

S03 or S04: Continuing from the assassination, Diamond Tiara finds out that her father was the one who hired Revolver to assassinate Celestia. Before he died, he failed to kill Revolver and the secret would not die with him. Revolver tells DT that her father is part of the Patriots, a group of ponies that will not sacrifice Equestria to any other force. Her father's business and his strong beliefs in a free Equestria resorted him to turn to extreme measures. Revolver manages to manipulate Diamond Tiara and turns her to join the Patriots.

S03 or S04: A small squad of Roaman soldiers end up in Ponyville, wounded and in need of care. Ponyville has declared itself neutral and a resting spot for all those who need aid, therefore, the Mayor and the people are obliged to help. However, the populace want the Roamans out since they're the enemies of ponies and they might bring trouble here. The Mayor sticks to her words. Then, some ponies even try bribing her with substantial money. However, despite her urges, she refuses. Unfortunately, when news leak about one of the soldier being the son of General Razak, somepony reports it to the RA and seeing it as a perfect opprtunity to capture the son and hold him hostage to bring an end to the war. They force their way into the shelter and they accidentally disturb a zebra who was suffering from PTSD and being woken up at the same time to see the enemy, he fires at the RA soldiers and this causes a shootout inside, forcing the Roamans out to run into the Everfree forest. The son is running away and a RA soldier is ordered to hit him in his legs to stop him but the son trips and the soldier fires at the wrong moment, penetrating the son's neck and killing him. News of this enrages General Razak, making him less sympathetic in future episodes. The Mayor and Celestia talk about the event, and Celestia tries cheering the mayor up, telling her that she did what was right, even if the whole world was against you. Future episodes involve General Razak having his grip on Ponyville, and the Mayor tries talking him out of it, telling him that it was not intentional.

S03 or S04: Pinkie follows Cranky on a supply mission. She finds out Cranky has broken up with her. Despite feeling a Twitchy Twitch and pushing Cranky out of the way from a direct Griffon bomb shell, he is hit by a fragment. In his dying words, he says that Pinkie is closer than anyone he has ever met, and to remember that friends, no matter the troublesome past, will always be there for you. In an epilogue or in another episode, she goes to his house and on the table, it reads that if Cranky dies, he wants everything in his special cart he brought to Ponyville to be hers.

S03 or S04:

S06 or S07: Queen Chrysalis tortures Shining Armor, trying to break him so she would be able to control him again. She even has a changeling pretend she's Princess Cadence and Queen Chrysalis personally tortures her in front of Shining Armor. However, Shining Armor knows deep down that it isn't her and knows that Cadence would never fall into Chrysalis' hand because none of her friends, him included, will let her lay a hoof on Cadence.

Crysis, the First Encounter

S06 or S07 (last season)The Mane Six encounter Crysis in the frozen ghost kingdom under Equestria. As they explore the dead city, having split up into groups of two, they are slowly experiencing hallucinations and voices in the city. Whether it is the rich ponies in the ballroom drinking their miseries away as the world burns. Others are the empty library, which no pony uses, thus never learning about past and disregarding the lessons learnt and knowledge. Soldiers lining up, unable to form independent thought but follow orders.

They meet Crysis who explains the origins of Equestria. Equestria use to be ruled by alicorns, all other races (unicorn, earth, and pegasus did not exist) were slaves/subjects under this empire. He was able to freeze chaos, and create a long lasting time of peace (Crysis= crisis immobillized). However,because society was so homogenized and there was there was no grayness in morality, the empire soon crumbled violently. Before Crysis imprisons himself in ice, he pre-nattily creates Celestia and Luna to represent not necessarily create black and white, but grayness or moral ambiguity.

Celestia and Luna are born into the new world without a father or mother. The two would later find out about Crysis. But Celestia would confront him to create the elements of Harmony. When Luna became all evil, Princess Celestia finds Crysis and asks what to do. Because Luna's goals are purely bad (not ben He created both to represent good and evil. However,

S03: We Hold the Line

Winter...

Applebloom and Sweetie Belle had always loved this time of year in Ponyville. Both remembered that while they may have loved Winter, others didn't, well at least they didn't like the relationship between winter and the two. Applebloom often didn't dry herself up before going to bed, causing Granny Smith and Big Mac to treat her cold for the next few days. As for Sweetie Belle, she often exasperated Rarity, making her fashion new winter clothes for her since Sweetie Belle always tore her unused clothing for extra fabrics to be used for her school and Cutie Mark Crusader-related projects. Rarity definitely didn't approve of the Cutie Mark Crusader stuff.

Among other things, it didn't allow the vegetables to grow, it slowed down movement, and basically, it was cold.

What made it beautiful for them was because of the snow.

"Out of all the 4 seasons, if you live in a climate that has them, winter is like the cleansing season. It's beautiful to see the cycle of the seasons, especially winter. I love how everything goes dormant, and everything slows down and it's so cozy and white.

Diamond Tiara felt a nudge from a hoof, lifting her head up. She was barely staying awake, even in such freezing conditions. She turned her head to the soldier opposite of her, sharing the same foxhole. He was a coltgrenadier, who she barely noticed on the truck ride earlier. Her throat was dry but she managed to force out a response.

"Yeah, got it," she said in an indifferent tone. She didn't much care who he was, just another passing face who she'll never see or talk to after this day, whether dead or alive. Like Goalpost said last night, "Temporary fill-ins."

Speaking of 'last night,' since last night, she had little to no sleep. It wasn't because of the artillery shells or gunfire far off in the distance making sounds of 'clattering' that prevented her from sleeping soundly, but it was simply the weather and how unaccustomed she is to sleeping in such destitute conditions. She already had trouble barely falling asleep in the barracks and worse, in campsites or ruined buildings. But now, the cold temperature made it virtually impossible for her to fall asleep. She missed the warm interior of her room back home, Silver Spoon and her would be upstairs talking about the latest fashion and gossiping about their classmates and when it got too cold, they would walk down to where her father was, right by the warm fireplace. Good times, she thought.

Meanwhile, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were setting up the Buzzsaw. Sweetie took a break, laying her back against the icy wall of the foxhole. The foxhole they had dug was slightly deeper and wider than the others, allowing them to use a tripod in the hole to stabilize the recoil and it allowed a crew of three to operate the weapon in the same foxhole. Sweetie Belle, bored, not exhausted, decided to survey the surroundings.

Their foxhole was positioned on the right flank, fourth row. It allowed them to protect the right flank of the entire group.

To her right, or their side, the first foxhole was occupied by

Goalpost and two other mares were positioned at the rear, behind a dug-in anti-tank gun. From there, he could shout out orders and provide heavy weapon support behind the ponies in their foxholes. He had placed six lines of defenses, the first and second line being the least equipped and likely to be lost. The third and fifth line were given anti-tank mines while the fourth line were machine gun emplacements to protect the flanks. Lastly, the sixth line was the anti-tank gun.

This was a text book defense strategy that Goalpost and countless other commanding officers have implemented. However, Goalpost wished that he would never resort to having to use it. Placing the his mares in the first two lines, the weakest of all, guaranteed their inevitable deaths while the well situated troops behind will hopefully defeat the now slowed down and weakened enemy. He kept telling himself that if he placed his best in front and lost them, he would lose everypony. It wasn't easy.

Everypony watched the fleet of tanks rolling eastwards, attempting to encircle the whole 1st Army and hence, squeeze the 1st Army out of existence, the reason why everypony is here. There were so many tanks that it caused formations of snow clouds blanketing the tanks behind.

Fifteen seconds passed by, everypony was tensed.

"Why aren't they turning?" she said, worried. Scootaloo squinted, focusing on the tanks, continuing their single file formation eastwards. It looked suspicious.

"Maybe they know it's a trap," Archer suggested, "If I was leading a tank, I wouldn't go through the wide gap in between those trees and seems perfect for a ambush."

"Well, judging by the number of tanks," she paused, pulling the bolt of her rifle, readying her rifle to fire a new round, "I don't see why they can't just roll over us like a bunch of watermelons under a steamroller."

"Sir?" Steadfast expressing his worries to Goalpost.

"Not yet, lieutenant."

Goalpost was waiting for all five of the tanks to enter the optimal killzone. If they revealed themselves too early, the tanks would wipe them out with their tank cannons from a range where his mares can't hit them with the anti-tank explosives. He needed them to get close enough, unfortunately.

"No, sir. I didn't mean that," Steadfast passed his binoculars to Goalpost and pointed at the edges of the tanks, "there's infantry riding the tanks, sir."

Goalpost lowered his binoculars, his face in dismay, muttering, "Awww buck..."

The tank leading the spearhead did not have infantry riding it and it had yet to open fire. Everypony was unsure whether to let the tanks come closer or to open fire. That decision laid with Goalpost only. The moment he fired the cannon, the rest were allowed to light them up with small arms and explosives. But the leading tank was dangerously closing in on the first foxhole on the left occupied by Snips, Snails, and Lineup.

"I th-th-think we should get out of here, Snails," Snips recommended. By now, the tank was only two dozens yards away.

"We- uhh, should get out as uhh... fast as possible."

Lineup seemed to disagree.

"And get shot on the surface, no wa-" Lineup was cut short for by then, the two had already crawled out, retreating to a row or two behind. Lineup's luck worsened when he turned his attention to the tank, now only a dozen yards away. He panicked and reached for the shovel, desperately trying to dig himself a deeper hole, afraid of being run over.

Applebloom and Sweetie Belle watched as he futilely dug himself his own grave, and the worst part, he didn't know that. And with that, they broke the silence.

"GET OUT OF THERE!!! RUN!!!" they both screamed out.

Lineup stopped shoveling, looking upwards and saw the tank was now a few yards away. Fear now gripped him and without thinking, he grabbed his submachine gun and opened fire on the armored beast to no avail. As the tank reached the tip of the foxhole, he squirmed himself into the backside of the foxhole, hoping it would save him.

Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and the rest of the company saw the tank roll over the foxhole but then it started rotating itself. No pony understood why it did it until they started seeing blood trails being smeared around, coming from the tank tracks. The worst part was the screaming, deafened by the tank's roaring engine.

Chip Mint suddenly snapped after what he just witnessed. He tried jumping out but the two mares to his sides pulled him back in. "LET ME GO! LET ME GO! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!" he begged.

Goalpost couldn't take it anymore, it felt like the tank was mocking him for getting that poor foal killed, rubbing it in his face with Lineup's blood.

"FIRE!!!"

The ponies in the foxholes heard a huge thud from behind, followed by the sound of two metals hitting one another. That tank soon was engulfed in flames. It had begun.

Every riflemare and submachine-gunner opened fire on the following tanks, aiming at the infantry riding on top. Sweetie Belle and Applebloom waited for the infantry to jump off. As soon as they did from the left side of the second tank, the two opened fire on them, cutting them down without giving them a chance.

The Zebras that got off on the right side were relatively unharmed. They went around the tank to get cover from the machine-gun fire. They then went on to finish what their dead squadmates had tried to do, they quickly overran the foxhole in front of Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, swarming the two Coltgrenadiers and killing them in their foxholes.

Snips and Snails crawled on the icy snow, feeling bullets flying over head from Diamond Tiara's foxhole right ahead. She saw the two pitifully trying to move up towards her, their movement hindered by the gunfire.

With Equestrian forces spread out to fight in the center and east, Ziro plans to play endgame. Close to Ponyville from north and southeast, he would launch a pincer attack that would meet up at Ponyville, and attack both Canterlot and the Citadel, ending the war decisively.

He would do this under the cover of winter to protect his soldiers from Equestrian airpower since the griffons (probably S04 than S05) have been utterly exhausted and internally struggling from the failed Cloudsdale attack. He would use zebra and pony saboteurs to cause mayhem in ponyville and other fronts. Using the passage given by Stalliongrad, fearful of another armed conflict, they manage to sneak up north of Canterlot and emplace themselves behind the trees.

Razak is unable to since winter has not set in yet, feeling vulnerable to air attacks if he participated.

Ziro assumes the weakest section would be the north but in reality, Applejack, two Ranger divisions, one Grenadier division (Skips/Arcade is there), and one LG Division are positioned there to rest up from the campaign in the east. They would viciously hold the Zebricans in the north, killing much of the elite units there.

To the southeast in the Whitetail Wood Forest (not like in the map), the seriously outnumbered eight grenadier divisions (Flip Flop Company) by 4:1 that are stationed there are taken by surprise, desperately holding the Roamans off from Ponyville. They reach the outskirts of Ponyville, hoping to use the main roads to link up with the northern half, rest up, and resupply. The 14th Grenadier Division (Flip Flop Company) make their last stand, surrounded though.However, thanks to the weather clearing up, the AirBorn cripple much of the Zebrican tank divisions and infantry divisions. The Equestrian Rangers arrive to help flank the overstretched Zebricans in the Whitetail Wood Forest Forest after stopping the northern attack. Slowly, the Zebricans fell back to reform, though constantly prevented due to the hinderance the Rangers and Grenadier divisions are causing.

In an attempt to save the operation, Razak launches his attack on the Equestrian southern army, hoping Ziro's forces would counter attack and that the AirBorn would not be able to focus on two armies at once. He was wrong, Ziro's southern army was too weak to squeeze the Equestrians, the AirBorn (under Rainbow Dash's leadership) manage to deliver triple the payload per day, and fierce resistance by a mix of coltgrenadier (Big Mac) and grenadier divisions in the Everfree Forest causes him to cancel the rescue operation, losing a number of tanks.

At the end, the Grand Offensive to end the war concludes with the destruction of the majority of tanks and heavy loss of lives. Much of the tank veterans from the beginning of the war are lost. A number of veteran and elite troops are lost, including a number of officers. Simply, it was a decisive failure.

The aftermath involves the Northern elite divisions remaining in the Blizzard Bergs there as struggling remnants in the Blizzard Bergs in S06 and S07. The Southern divisions were would exhausted and low on everything, returning back to their previous positions behind the Whitetail Woods. Razak's forces posed the biggest threat but having moved most of his forces north, it has weakened his flanks (Buffalo territory).

For Ziro, it was a dishonorable and shameful major defeat. Worse, he lost his reputation there. This battle marks the Tide of the war changing in favor of Equestria. Equestrian forces now had the morale to push the exhausted Roamans back.

In the following Spring Offensives (S05), the Equestrian forces will use the whitetail woods along the mountains to send rangers and Jumpers in, infiltrating enemy territory and laying traps in preparation for the drive into Hoofington.

S05: Spring Offensives

With Ziro's army terribly weakened near Hoofington and Razak's forces dangerously positioned away from Fillydelphia, the Royal Equestrian High Command decide it was time to go on the offensive.

Hoofington was a major city under the Zebricans. However, most of the forces were placed in front, protecting the wide open plains in case of a massive assault. The forest alongside the mountains near Hoofington were largely unwatched, believing that tanks would find it difficult to pass through. This gave the RED command the idea to send in Jumpers and Rangers into the forest, using it as base while they go sabotage bridges (company of heroes video).

Steadfast- Focus on his officer's training/growing up in Germaneigh. As a young adult/teenaager, he lived an officer's life. (this plays a role in S05+ to develop his character or in the ENDING to end his character, when Steadfast and Goalpost are conversing. Steadfast asks Goalpost what to do when he's not leading his soldiers as he never had a real normal life any other pony. Goalpost replies, telling him that he knows Steadfast has always been taking control of other ponies' lives, but now, it's his turn to take control of his)

S03+: Pinkie Episode

Pinkie's friendly propoganda, portraying the Roamans and Equestrians as being friends and that the only way to end the war is to put aside their differences. However, a number of ponies protest, finding the portrayal of Roamans as being peace loving and friendly like Ponies as distasteful and bad (i.e. mothers who lost their sons) for the war effort (elite).

Pinkie is faced with a dilema, either portray the Roamans by defacing them or completely dropping her propoganda campaign.

Fluttershy knows how mines are placed like how animals hide under certain foliage/leaves on the ground.

S06: Chrysalis' control over dragons

Instead of leeching off the love of some pony this time, Chrysalis goes to the dragons, who have been crippled by Crystal Wind and she offers to save them and give them revenge for the pony attack in exchange for their love. While not as strong as the love from Shining Armor, she now has the dragons fighting alongside her Swarm

The Ponyville populace is put in the mines, digging for diamonds. Big Mac picks a fight with _________ and a Changeling guard comes forward to stop them. BIg Mac surprise kills the Changeling and the prisoners all revolt. (COD Black Ops)

Hammer & Sickle

Hammer- controls the Crimson Overwatch. Employs brutal suppressive tactics. He also is in charge of breaking the will of prisoners through torture.

Sickle- in charge of 'The Program', he tries to find new ways of warfare. Basically, he designs weapons and tech for the Crimson Overwatch. From body armor to psychochemical weapons.

Both join Queen Chrysalis but it's an uneasy alliance, the two sometimes have to prove their 'loyalty' by making controversial decisions.

There is a purge by Hammer & Sickle, removing anyone they thought were a threat to them (except Polka) especially officers.

In some point in S0_ a Mane Six member (probably Twilight) is brain washed by Sickle's methods into killing/paralyzing Princess Celestia.

S06: The Unholy Alliance

6 years ago on the same week of Celestia on Trial, Hammer and Sickle who have just been chased by Griffon authorities into the Blizzard Bergs try to make camp. They vow they'll return, free Stalliongrad, and make the Griffons pay, along with the neighbors, just watching the Stalliongrad people suffer while they pleasure themselves in peace, harmony, and freedom. Suddenly, a blizzard comes by and the two try finding shelter in a glacier. They enter a small opening and find a body, frozen in the ice. They carve out the ice and melt the ice. It reveals itself as Queen Chrysalis. The two do not know who she is but are threatened by the appearance and seeming authority she had. Queen Chrysalis dominates the two, demanding to know what is going on.

Frightened, the two brothers don't know what happened on the Wedding but tell her it's the same week the wedding started on, and that they freed her because they thought they'd be rewarded for saving her (lie). The Queen finds it amusing that these lesser ponies expect a reward for helping her. Regardless, she guarantees that she'll help them with their problem once she is ready and that in return, they help her when the time requires it. The two asks why they should help her when they just saved her.

Queen Chrysalis responds: Because, I have something no pony else can offer you: control.

S06 E01

Twilight wakes up to find that she survived, ending up in the subterranean levels of Canterlot. She realizes what she had just done, she cannot believe that she had just killed her mentor, Princess Celestia. Once she is done crying, she tries to find a way up, hoping her friends are waiting and will still see her as a friend. She sees a few soldiers covered in debris afar, she is about to help but stops, relieved to see a squad of soldiers come to their aid. However, the arriving soldiers kills one of them and the soldiers morph back to changelings, glueing the remainign soldiers and taking them back with them.

Meanwhile, all her friends are scattered over Equestria because of the sudden Mass teleportation spell. Rarity and Applejack are stuck in ___, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are stuck in ____, and Fluttershy is alone in ____. All of them, cannot believe that Twilight killed Princess Celestia. They suggest possible reasons from Twilight being under some mind control spell by the Zebras to Twilight being a changeling herself (becomes an issue when they meet up with Twilight again).

S04: Coming to Terms

Leaks about Celestia planning to sue for peace with the Zebricans divides Equestria. The peace terms that the Zebricans publicly offered were that the Equestrian Military be stripped naked, limited to a far smaller number and all cities under their control be turned into independent city states under their guidance.

Celestia and others want an end to the war after the cataclysmic defeat at Fillydelphia, the outlook of stalemate, and possible successful offensives by the Roamans that'll end in all of Equestria being lost. Civillians, Twilight Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie support her

However, some military leaders, the elite, a number of soldiers, and RD and AJ are outraged. The military and the two ponies see this as a betrayal, they would not be willing to give massive chunks of land and pride away to the Roamans. Also, the Roamans will probably take off with all the industries, shipping them back to the Roam.

The rest, (i.e. Luna, Pryde, Rarity etc.) do not want to voice their opinion either for personal reasons or having no answer.

S02: Salvation at Seaddle

Ziro and Razak now have trapped the Cervidan forces in Seaddle who have refused to surrender. They have the opportunity to close in and annihilate the rather large pockets of deers and pony volunteer soldiers. However, the Empress orders her generals to not lay a single hoof on them, letting them secretly escape. Many generals are appalled by this decision, seeing this as allowing the Deers to escape to Equestria, garnering strength and supporting rebels in the future.

Empress' reason is both things. She believes that destroying the deers all together will enrage Equestria, forcing them to elevate their military forces. The second is that she needed to show that she still had control over her generals.

Despite allowing the Deers to escape, Celestia decides to take drastic measures (strengthen military) and punish the Roamans in some way in the future for their aggressiveness.

Pre-War for Equestria:

Applejack, Big Mac, and Rarity are tasked to try to open links between Canterlot and Stalliongrad by Celestia to help better the friendship between the two nations. Applejack and Rarity are hesitant, hearing how the ponies of Stalliongrad violently rebelled against their corporate/elite masters, scaring many businesses and the wealthy away. But they accept the mission and both travel to Stalliongrad. On their way, they are attacked by Griffons who believe they are Crimson caravan. The three tell them they are on a mission to better improve links between Stalliongrad and Equestria, engaging in their lifestyles and establishing trade. The Griffons don't like the idea of strengthening ties between Equestria and Stalliongrad that they threaten to hurt them if they dont turn back. Before they do, a shot is fired, sending one of their helmets flying off but not killing him. A sniper appears and tells them to leave the ponies alone. The griffons laugh off the sniper before the sniper fires again, perfectly trimming off a feather and the griffons leave, promising to be back. The ponies thank the sniper and he brings them to Stalliongrad. His name is Red Eye, a dead shot in the Crimson army, he welcomes the ponies seeing them as a first sign of peace and security for Stalliongrad, who has many enemies and needs to make friends/peace.

S05 Finale: Twilight kills 'Celestia'

After Twilight has been rescued from the Stalliongraders, she notices having urges to see Princess Celestia as soon as possible.Her attitude ranges between subtle to violent. Finally, Princess Celestia calls for a a session to discuss a possible armistice called forth by the Empress. With Ziro's army nearly destroyed, Hoofington taken, the Griffons exhausted, and both Razak's and Ziro's army pushed back to Stableside, the Empress believes the war is now unwinnable.

When they get to Canterlot, Luna is asked to talk to a intelligence team with something urgent. Luna seperates and follows the intelligence team. Finally, Twilight rushes to Celestia's side. Twilight then gets a headache, Celestia asks if Twilight's okay. Twilight replies, says it's nothing not wanting to distract the real matter at hand. A they start talking, Twilight's voices in her head gets louder. Suddenly, Pinkie has a twitchy twitch, saying something big and bad is coming from below. As soon as the Mane Six put their ears against the floor Twilight walks toward Princess Celestia, grabs the Sun Catcher (acquired from an episode revolving around Old Gods) and activates it. Celestia is enveloped in a beam of light. Everyone watches in shock and paralysis as Princess Celestia is wiped off the face of the earth, with nothing but charred remains.

Meanwhile, Princess Luna is being briefed over the information regarding the Zebras having infiltrated Canterlot and now are arming the missile to detonate. Luna doesn't know what to do.

Applejack: Tw- Twilight... what did you just do?

Pinkie (still jittering): It's r-r-r-e-a-a-l-l-y-b-b-a-a-d now

*BOOOOOOOM*

Explosions from down under rock the tower , causing the floor to ripple in half, Twilight on one side and the rest on the other. Luna casts a mass teleportation spell on everypony but Twilight as the floor was drifting too far away.

Back to Luna (now replaced), she orders the missile to be launched at the Dragons, saving canterlot and eliminating the possible threat. (this causes dragons to hate Equestrians for attacking them)

From a cave in a mountain, a Changeling commander overlooks the black swarm descending into Canteerlot. He then talks to an unknown figure.

Changeling Commander: Your Highness, everything is proceeding according to plan.

Unknown: ...This day is going to be perfect (in a melodic tone)
