The Pegasus sat in his temporary jail cell when the barred door opened.
"Your turn." a guard said solemnly. The other six guards were carrying chains and a chestplate. The pegasus stood up and stayed still as the chestplate was put on him restricting his wings from moving. A guard lifted up the blue pegasus' eye patch when he stopped him.
"Please, my kids are out there." the pegasus said in a calm tone. The guard scoffed but left the eye patch. The chains were connected to loops on the chestplate and each guard except the one that spoke first clipped the chain on their chestplate to restrain him from running away.
"It's time." The guard said solemnly again but couldn't meet the pegasus' eyes. He nodded and walked forward and the six marched along a distance away from the sides of the pegasus while the one guard who spoke the most walked in front. The chains clanked each step he took. They walked through a hallway to a bright light - so bright that the pegasus had to stop so his eyes to focus. After his eyes had settled he walked forward and looked up at the guards standing on top of the raised platform. He slowly trotted up the stairs and towards the noose. One of the guards walked over to a lever.
"Ladies and gentlecolts! We have here the father of the worlds most wanted pirate!" A loud and bellowing voice echoed through the courtyard. The pegasus walked forward a little more and let the guards tie the noose around his neck. The six guards connected to the chain unlatched themselves of all the chains.
"This man raised a brutal killer and thief. Stealing millions of supplies each week and killing anyone in her way! Shouldn't he pay for what he's done?" The same voice shouted. There were screams and cheers of joy.
"NO!" A unicorn screamed. She was locked up in a cell with another young pegasus and a unicorn foal left of the pegasus. He smiled gently then looked forward again.
"He should be HANGED for his crimes!"
The pegasus looked up. He closed his eyes and let his daughter's song flow through his lips.
"years will pass and our hair will be grey"
"Pull the lever!"
"But I'll still remember this glorious day."
"I said PULL THE LEVER!"
"The light shines brightly ahead of us all,"
"But why sir? This man has done nothing!"
"We won't stop until all of them fall."
"PULL THE LEVER OR I WILL SHOOT YOU!"
Two trapdoors opened up underneath the pegasus.
Silence...
The wind blew the cold, dead body slightly making it sway slightly from side to side.
"TWILIGHT!" Rainbow dash screamed. Twilight Sparkle walked over to Rainbow Dash and sighed.
"I told you yesterday we've got no more Daring Do books. You've read them all!" Twilight said in an aggravated tone.
"That's so not cool. How long does it take to write a book?!" Rainbow moaned. Twilight sighed again.
"Well why don't you read something different?" Twilight asked.
"Because the rest of the books are boring." Rainbow complained while flailing. Twilight walked over to her desk and grabbed a book. She walked back over to Rainbow Dash and handed it to her.
"What is this?" Rainbow Dash asked while examining the book.
"It's the diary of a pirate that lived long ago." Twilight replied in an enthusiastic tone.
"Pfft, history's boring. I'd rather read Daring Do."
"How about you read it and see!" Twilight said before trotting off. Rainbow Dash sighed. And looked at the book again.
"The Diary of The World Famous Lightning Blast. Sounds ok." Rainbow Dash mumbled to herself before opening the book.
"Dear Diary..."
-Lightning Blast's POV-
"SHIP AHEAD" Cannonstorm shouted although there was no point to shout though since we only were a duo and didn't trust others.
"Ok, Storm don't show the flag until we get close to the ship!" I command while sharpening my hidden wing blade,
"Got it!" He replied,
I flew up, inspecting the boat in front of us. My electric blue mane was getting in the way of my sight. It was from Equestria. Likely to be delivering goods to a poor country. Equestrian goods are the best catch. I looked towards Cannonstorm's position. His horn was glowing, obvious he had practiced his bit way too much. All he did was teleport me to the other ship and shoot a few cannons - although we was good at aiming a cannon AND getting a headshot or blowing up the captains quarters without even looking. I flew down beside him, his jet black mane getting in the way of his sight but he didn't mind a bit. I checked my flintlocks and my hoof blade. I waited for the right time. I nodded, then suddenly I was in the other ship.
I extended my wing blade then ran up to the first crew member and sunk the blade into his throat. I then turned around and shot a pegasus who was flying towards me in the chest before dislodging my wingblade out of the pony's neck who now had blood pouring from his lips. I grinned at the sight of the pony blood fountain. I flew up to the crows nest before everyone ran at me and waited a few seconds. I took a deep breath then dived through the sky. when I got close to the deck I opened up my wings then a loud lightning sound echoed through the sky. The crew were stunned by the loud sound and left motionless, most collapsed to the floor covering their ears. I scanned the crew for any unharmed but all of most of them were pouring blood out of their ears and the rest either stunned or dead. I walked up to the captains quarters, obviously this one was a coward hiding from attackers. I heard hoofsteps from behind me so I turned around with my flintlock loaded, it was a merely a colt! I couldnt kill him, he only looked 14 years of age but he was using telekinesis to hold a blade so i resorted to block his hit and knock away his weapon. I retracted my wingblade then pushed him down to the very expensive mahogany floor and held him down
"Ugh, get off me! Discusting pirate!" He hissed.
"You talk like a filly! Anyway, we would rather be called corrupt heroes" I replied, a grin creeping across my face.
"y-you're wanted in many different countries!" He yelped
"17 to be exact, and you will be too!" My golden eyes glistening with malice.
"N-n-no y-you can't tak-ke me!" I thought his stuttering the slightest bit adorable,
"Well it's either that, overboard or sold to slavery. So, what's your choice?" I asked, my creeping grin now showing fully and my eyes glistening even more, I even let my wings slowly open up.
"anywhere away from you!" He spat.
I wiped the saliva off my face and my grin turning into a scowl, I fully opened up my wings,
"Overboard it is then" I said, I then picked him up and flew off the boat and above the water. He looked up at me with his baby blue eyes, as if to ask if I was serious or not.
I did a small sideways nod then grinned again, my signature smile. I let go of him and his screams filled the empty space of water and air. Only when he splashed into the salty sea I flew down do get him. I dived underwater and looked around to find a figure flailing around. I swam up to him and stopped him flailing. I swam up and filled my lungs with fresh salty air and looked up to see Cannonstorm panicking. He teleported me and the colt onto the deck. The colt was breathing heavily - obvious that his screaming emptied his lungs of air.
"Who is that?" Jeffrey asked, confused.
"Hes a colt I found on this ship, thought I'd teach him a lesson about manners and hygene." I said and glared at the colt, his orange mane looked all tangled and it seemed to have soaked up the water.
"F-fire Twister" he gasped "and I'm not a colt! I am 19 years of age, thank you!"
"Well Fire Twister, welcome to the club. Since I didn't state my name before, I'm Lightning Blast and he's Cannonstorm" I said
"Hey!" Cannonstorm said kindly,
"Right, Storm. You teleport me and Twister back to the ship, and you tie up all the new captives. We'll head to Pontugal tonight, oh and also search the boat for goods." I commanded. Jeffery nodded then in an instant we were on my ship, The Corrupt.
"Well, here she is. I payed good money for her and she's done good. Believe it or not but she's done more than what she was worth. We've gone through storms, battles, crashes and she still floats. In fact, half my money goes to her getting cleaned and repaired." I said proudly,
"She does look good!" He admitted, "But where does the other half of your money go?"
I stayed silent. I mean, I don't like talking openly about my family.
"Right... Right! Lets get you washed and dried. I don't want your salty hoofprints all over my new polished floor. Oh, and did I tell you that The Corrupt is fully built from zapapple wood?" I bragged.
"sounds cool!" Fire Twister said.
"Well, I'll go ask the servants to boil some water for two baths. We treat 'most' of our guests in royalty"
"so the rest you ignore I guess?"
"oh no! Would you think me to ignore my servants? Oh what an image I have made of myself! They get the water after. Well, that is also their drinking water but I can't waste water out at sea!" Fire Twister looked at me with a serious yet bored look on his face.
"Servants?"
"Yes, they are just... free of charge"
Firelight stared at me, a questioning look on his face, "I've noticed your very weird accent,"
"Oh yes! I've obtained this accent from the United Clopton, not saying everyone has this accent it's just that my family line goes straight down to posh and snobby people, so we've kept this accent. I think it suits me!"
"Pretty much yeah." I stared at Fire Twister and smirked.
"Well, it only takes a little while to become allies with you!" I teased.
I led him down a flight of stairs and to a door. I opened it then pushed him in.
"Enjoy your stay!" I waved then slammed the door. Giggling eerily while locking the door. I walked up to the captains quarters. I unclipped my armour and clipped it on the manequin. I stroked the feathers on the artificial wing on the suit and looked back at by featherless right wing. I frowned. I wrapped a fabric around my stomach to hide my bare wing. I walked out to see Cannonstorm standing proud.
"Storms! my main stallion!" I walked over to him and threw my good wing over his shoulder. "how did we do?"
"Solid gold in the storage. It was a trading ship!" Cannonstorm said cheerily. I smiled.
"How many hostages?"
"About twenty. Half of them are still recovering from you" I smiled even more.
"You're driving tonight with our Twister tonight. You're just watching him." he nodded. And walked down to his room.
"We're gonna get a load tommorow!" I said to myself and walked over to the top deck.
