Emerge from the depths.

Kyo was sneaking around the ville, hiding behind buildings and inside cardboard boxes, for some strange reason, he felt like going inside of a cardboard box was his right, his destiny... Nah, that's just stupid talk, but seriously these silly equines won't know what hit them... Even though he never wants to hit any of them...

He continued to sneak through the ville by using his agile body to move from separate spots without being seen,  he doesn't know if it was a good idea to converse with these strange inhabitants of this town or to keep sneaking until he finds a way home.

By unique standards, he wasn't enjoying the particular idea of sneaking around the ENTIRE town and/or more just to make it back home, he has to show himself sooner or later, but what really scares Kyo is what would their reactions be? Would they get pitchforks and torches or will they let me in with open hooves?

Another thing that Kyo realized was that these equine were civilized, they can speak English perfectly meaning he could communicate if it ever came down to it.

Not just that but he also realized that each horse had separate attributes: First there's the normal, no unique features other than colour of fur, mane colour, mane style, eyes, then there was the winged ones: Pegasus Equines which the plural of is Pegasi, which seems like Greek Mythology did exist, though that wasn't the biggest highlight for him: Unicorns, horns on their head, they use telekinesis and possibly other magic spells that could be mastered.

Kyo shook his head from the headache he just received by thinking too much about the entire biology of these things, he shakes his head to grip onto his focus once more and saw that the coast was clear, he sidles across the wall and leans to the side to see where to go next.

While he was scanning for a new area to hide to, he was unaware of one of them sneaking up behind him.

Kyo was still thinking. "I should go over there and--" he heard a snap from behind, he quickly turned and was bashed in the head by a 2x4, it was enough to knock him clean out, he falls to the ground, unconscious.

Before he could black out, he could hear the one who attacked him. "OVER HERE, EVERYPONY!" A southern like accent could be heard distinctively from the 'pony'.

Kyo knew that he was thrown off the frying pan and into the fire from the first encounter.

An hour later...

Kyo could feel that his entire torso was tied up with his arms, causing it to chafe. "Agh..." he mutters as he opens his eyes, the first thing he notices was that he was in a dark room, the only light that was in the room was a glowing barrier that surrounded what seemed to be a basement, Kyo could definitely hear voices coming from upstairs, it sounded like a debate.

He kept quiet and decided to listen in...

"I don't trust that thing, what if it's a spy?!" said a tomboyish voice and the same southern accent as before spoke up after. "Now, ah don't think the critter's a spah, what if it's an alien?" a soft voice was heard, Kyo couldn't make out what the soft voice was saying. "Okay girls, Applejack, you said this creature could talk, you heard it talk before you knocked it out, right?" said a smart-mouthing kinda tone to it, hopefully this 'pony' was the smartest of the group.

This Applejack character must of nodded, cause he heard nothing and the door opened with the sounds of hooves clopping on stairs, as he saw 3 ponies walk down casually, while one shied away while keeping an eye on him in a curious and interested sort of way, the other was flying in the air, also keeping an eye on him in a menacingly and distrusting way while a pink pony just bounced down the stairs... Strange.

Kyo just looked at the colourful ponies as they appear left to right: A white unicorn with purple stylish and bedazzling mane and tail, the pink pony was well... PINK, all over with a frizzy and poofy looking mane and tail, adorable but she seemed to have energy, then there was a cyan coloured Pegasus with rainbow messy mane and tail, then there was a lavender unicorn with wings-- Wait.. what?

He just shook his head and continued on, the lavender pony had a dark purple with a pink streak to her mane and tail, then next to that one was the pony that knocked Kyo's form unconscious, a tan-orange normal pony with white freckles and a stetson, underneath said stetson was a tied up and messy creamy cowgirl mane and tail, his guess this is Applejack.

The last one was just as strange a butter-yellow pony with pink and beautiful mane and tail, Kyo just couldn't help but smile, to which the pony smiled also and started to feel a little more self confident.

"O-kay, now that awkward silence is out of the way, can you talk?" said the lavender pony, to which Kyo nods to the question. "Yes?" All but Applejack and Fluttershy gasped. "Whoa, it can understand us!" said the rainbow Pegasus.

Kyo had a very sour expression. "Yes, it can understand you very well, now may you PLEASE get this gosh darn lasso off of me, PLEASE?!" he said as he looks at Applejack especially. "Not so fast, we don't know if you're dangerous or not." Said the lavender pony, to which Kyo just scoffed. "Dangerous? Yeah right... I don't harm animals..."

"HEY! Who you callin' an animal you darn varmint?!" Said Applejack with a growl. "If anypony's the animal, it's you!" she said pointing a hoof at Kyo.

Kyo just sighs, in terms like this she actually has a point, this town or place belongs to the equines, and he is pretty much an unknown animal, you may even be the las-- Oh god no... "You're... Not gonna breed me, are you?" Most of them just blushed but Fluttershy looked deep in thought on that one. "N-NO! We're not going to breed you!" Kyo sighed in relief. "Okay, good.. You're not those kind of people-- Err, Ponies, I meant..."

The lavender pony cleared her throat. "Well, I sent the Princess a letter and she said to be here shortly, in the mean time why not tell us your name so we can tell you ours?" she said with a smile, she seemed happy to learn about this, Kyo figured why not? "My name is Kyo, Kyo Kenji... I already know the one who gave me this headache was Applejack." he said with a slight chuckle.

Applejack was shocked. "H-how did--" Kyo interrupted. "You guys are very loud..."

All of them blushed in embarrassment as Twilight clears her throat. "Well then, allow me to introduce you..." she points at the white stylish pony then to the butter shy pony. "This is: Rarity." To which she smiled. "Charmed, darling." Then points to the pink one. "This is Pinkie Pie." Pinkie just bounces and smiles. "Howdy! Do you like parties?!" Kyo nods a bit. "Yeah." Pinkie grinned.

The lavender pony smiled a bit. "This is Rainbow Dash." she said pointing to the said Pegasus. "The one and only!" she proudly proclaims as she looks at Kyo. "And don't forget it bud!" The lavender Pony puts a hoof onto her own chest. "My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle, I am an Alicorn."

Kyo was shocked that he heard a princess was coming, but another princess already here?

Twilight looked at Applejack. "Well, you know her name, but she's Applejack." Kyo just shrugged, Applejack was staring daggers right at Kyo, but noticing this, Twilight carried on to Fluttershy. "And this is Fluttershy."

Fluttershy shyly waves at Kyo, to which Kyo smiled. "A pleasure to meet all of you, now can you please untie me?" he said in a more calm manner.

Twilight smiled. "Okay, but you must promise to be on your best behaviour..." Kyo nodded. "You have my word." Pinkie quickly butted in. "PINKIE PROMISE!" she suddenly yells out.

Kyo sighs. "Yes, Pinkie promise!" Pinkie Pie shook her head. "No no no! Like this silly!" she did the words for Kyo's case. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!"

He just quirks his eyebrow and tilts his head, but went with it. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." he said to Pinkie in which she smiled. "Yep, he's cool."

Twilight was confused, but she crossed it off as Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie so she uses her magic to untie Kyo and got rid of the barrier, and their worries were ill-placed as he just smiled and kissed his arms. "Oh thank you, anymore chafe and I'll lose my arms... Heh.." he said as he looks at them. "Oh, right... Now that I'm here... Where's my blade?"

Rainbow Dash looks at him. "That thing? Oh, we put it somewhere you can't find it." Kyo sighs. "I see... Well, you're free to keep it with you, but..." Rainbow Dash looks at him. "Huh?..." she was confused as Kyo looked sad, then perked up a bit. "Oh, nothing... Just keep it with you for now..."

Kyo scratches his ear a bit as the others looked at him, scrutinizing him. "By the way..." Kyo said as he got their attention. "Where am I?"
