Chapter 1: A New and Happy Start
This is a story of a young filly named Purple Angel born in Manehatten. A daughter of a mare named Tea Maple and a stallion named Mint Key. The new member of their fresh and new start of a family.
"How much longer do I have to wait til I see my little filly?" Mint Key asked the nurse with joy in his voice. "In a minute sir." a young nurse said. "We're just having small problems but we'll be with you shortly." a suddenly older nurse added. "Good! I don't think I can wait much longer!" Mint Key said loudly as more and more excitement fulls him.
After a few minutes, they let him go to the room to see his new filly. "Shes... Shes so beautiful..." Mint Key smiled as his eyes glowed with happiness. "But I find odd how shes purple with orange hair and me and my wife are different shades of green and my hair is yellow and my wife have dark brown hair." Mint Key said not so excitedly. the happiness leaves his voice and face.
"Well, at least she belongs to you." the nurse standing next him said to him, trying to cheer him up. "Yes... Yes, you're right." Mint Key said in a gloaming tone. "Besides this happens to everypony so don't worry much of it. Right?" the nurse said cheerfully then Mint nodded as a respond. "That's the spirit! Now would you like to see your wife? To you know, see how shes doing?" Mint nodded again. "Okay then follow me, unless you want me to carry you around like big ol' baby?" the nurse chuckled as Mint blushed. "O-of course not!" Mint said, trying to sound tough. "Besides a mare as small as you are, wouldn't be able to lift anything my size and I'm wayyyy stronger than you and handsome too." Mint smiled proudly "Okay! Okay! I get it lets just go!" the nurse blushed then Mint chuckled and nodded as they walked out the room into the where Tea Maple is.
"...You're okay sweetie?" Mint asked as he sat down next to Tea's bed. "A bit sore but I'm okay." Tea said weakly. "Well at least you're still alive and all." Mint said as he gave her a kiss on her cheek. "Our daughter is so beautiful, Ain't she?" Tea asked as she closes her eyes. "Yeah..." Mint said, smiling. "You should get some more rest." Mint said more quietly. Then Tea nodded and gone to sleep, Mint got up and walked out the room. Visiting hours are now over, all visitors must now leave. Mint heard from the speakers on the walls then grabbed his stuff and left out the hospital.

Chapter 3: A Bit of Breezie Problems
The next morning, at Mint's job as a candy maker at a well-known candy shop. "Where's that damn Mint Key!?" his boss yelled out, looking for him. "R-right here M-mr. Bell." Mint walked to him, nervously, Mint and his boss aren't really the best pals because when they were young stallions in high school, Bell fell in love with Tea but Tea loved Mint more than Bell and Bell is still very angry from when Tea kissed Mint. "Why is almost the all the candy is gone!?" Bell yelled out as he grabbed him by his wing and dragged him to supple room. "Huh!? There were way more than this when I locked up the place! What could have happened then? Ouch that grip... Now I see why his parents named him DumbBell... Heh dumb." Mint thought to himself. "Do YOU know anything about this!?" Bell yelled out to him again. "N-no s-sir." Mint said getting more and more nervous. "W-when I locked up the d-door, all the candy was still th-there." Bell grip to Mint's wing got stronger. "Well how do I know YOU didn't take it?" Bell got close to his face. "Uhh... Oh! The cameras was still on when I leave." Mint pointed to one of the cameras on the wall. They when to the secretary room and watched the moments of when Mint was the only pony in the shop. "......See sir? I locked the door and nothing more." Mint said as it showed Mint closing and locking the door to the supple room. "Hmm. You're lucky I'm gonna grind you up into pieces." Bell said as he let go of his wing then ran out the secretary room. "....Huh? The camera skipped." Bell looked some more and saw that the time skipped from when Mint locked up the place to opening time. Bell ran out and looked for Mint. "Nowhere! What?" Bell looked up at the clock and saw that Mint's shift is over for today and is gone now.

Its been a six months have pasted now since Tea and Angel had left the hospital but now they're at home. "Hmm..." Tea thought to herself as held Angel as she slept in her arms. "I checked both of our families' history, photos and everything else that I can find but no pony is or was close to Angel's skin color or eyes..."
"Hey. You're ok sweetie?" Mint asked her quietly. "I-I'm fine. I'm just tired... You know how much of a hoofful she is." Tea said tiredly. "I know I know... I wish I can help senses but my job wouldn't let me..." Mint said sadly. "Its ok Minty, besides you are helping by working hard." Tea said to him, smiling. "...You're right, anyway we should get some rest though." Mint said as he yawned. Tea used her magic to put Angel in her crib and they gone to bed themselves.
But Tea still stayed up, still curious about Angel being the way she is. "Hmm... I still find its hard to believe how trouble some she is. No pony in our families was like that at this age and she haven't been around the other foals yet so she couldn't be acting like them. I'm probably just worrying about her too much." Tea finally when to sleep after a couple more hours of thinking to herself.
