Chapter 2View OnlineIn the HoleChapter 2Day 3 Finally you come back to me my darling. I was worried they would not allow me the sanctuary of this book after my declaration of war, but I will get to write on! The guard seems to be smiling as he reads what I write. Well, he can smile at the fact that he is a filthy disgusting pig who should bathe more regularly as his smell somehow beats this hole. He only is continuing to smile. In fact it grows larger. Perhaps a change in topic then. They do a dreadful job of feeding me down here. Not only is it only bits of bread and cheese, but it comes so infrequently. I have only eaten twice since my last entry and am surprised that I am not wasting away. I only hope this does not destroy my good looks before Celestia and Luna give Sombra what he deserves. I wish I had more to say dear me, but the animal in here with me is deciding I must resume my dark habitat. Please do not stay away for so long this time.

They still won’t feed me, won’t let me bath, and won’t even have the common courtesy of being able to talk to the guard that I know stays above my cage. He threw rocks at me yesterday when I tried to speak to him and merely laughed when I whimpered in pain. My head hurts, but that should be fine. Still, this does not excuse such terrible behavior. I am only happy that Sombra will meet his fate soon. My friends must be on their way. I know they are, and when they get here this castle will come crashing down around me and I will be lifted into the sky, marked as a hero for my courage. Turn your eyes away as I only even suggest at this week in hell for my own sanity. I cannot take anymore of this quiet. I cannot take my guards laughter as I lose strength and will each day. Like a phoenix though, perhaps recounting this time will save me and free me from my ashes. They used me. A small group of guards now come with my regular. They come in, tear what little I wear. Tear what little life and pride I have left. And then, then they use me. For seven days they have done this to me. They wanted to know how generous a mare’s body could be, especially after a thousand years. What they consider generosity, I consider No, I will not use it here. They, they used me for sport. Rarity, do not stay there. You need to move on. If you don’t, you may start to consider. But how can I not start to consider with all of this happening. He is my hope. Captured by these tyrannical beasts they now hope that I will write in this journal my secrets and my friend’s. As much fun as it might be to gossip with myself, I would not dare betray them like this. No, instead I will take this as a chance to cope. A good businessmare knows when to be quiet and I fear what speaking to my guard may do to me. So instead I will vent my frustrations here and allow King Sombra to know just how despicable I think he is. The stallion across from me is about to turn out the light and take the journal. Chapter 7View OnlineIn the HoleChapter 7Day 14 The guard laughs and forces my hand to write. He states that if I write while I sob that I will avoid his horrid plans. So here I am, whittling this lead pencil down to nothing in an attempt to keep my life. I fear what will happen now. The darkness has taken so much from my beautiful mind and I can only speculate what it has done to my gorgeous figure. These bony hands are enough though I suppose to prove how ugly I must be becoming. Please. If you have any equiniti, let me out of this cell. I need sunlight, warmth, ponies. Not these beasts.
Chapter 12View OnlineIn the HoleChapter 12Day 31 I walk into the grand throne room with four guard surrounding me. In his throne sits Sombra and he looks down upon me. He wants to know why I am here. I inform him of my decision to help. He listens to me as I tell him of my friends and where I think they may go or how they are travelling. He only nods until a snap of his fingers gets the guards to leave me and he walks me out of the room. He is telling me that I can be of use to him and that that is why he stopped his guards the moment I told him. Sombra surprises me with tired eyes and slight frown as he talks about these acs that should be nothing to him. However, instead of killing me now that he has the information, he has led me to a room. He states that this will be my room and that in one month’s time I will be expected to be ready to work for him. I ask him what type of work, and the doors are opened. In front of me lies spools of ancient fabric and ponequins for me to work on. I see paper for blueprints, scissors for cutting, and even an old sewing machine to help. He smiles down at me and asks if I like it. I have much to take in, but I mutter “yes” while staring at the most amazing thing in the room. A single window with light coming through. Tears of joy fill my eyes as Sombra grabs ahold of my hair. With a small blast of magic she felt the weight fall from her shoulders. He states it is to hide me. I cannot be known as Rarity. Rarity can be rallied around as a fallen hero. I am not saddened by this fact. The Rarity that has none of her friends is a Rarity who was alone and sad. As he leaves I look out the window with a small smile. “Black Lace. Sounds beautiful.”
