The Lover and The Moon

Today is June the 10th, a year after the whole prom incident, and both Luna and I were out to for summer vacation. My family likes to travel a lot, so we decide to go to the beach. The good news about this was that Luna actually knew what the beach was, thank you equestria. However, we can't have the princess of the night go to the beach in her pony form, so when my mom told me she had to go shopping a plan popped into my head. I asked my mom if amber (aka Luna) can go with her to get a swimming suit, of course I had to deal with the "Why?" question. So I had to make a little lie telling her that her parents never took her to a beach or pool before. Thankfully she took the lie, however, My mom also had to add that she needed a knew swimming gear 'god help me'. I don't know how Long it is going to take them, I mean, they somehow take forever to choose whatever they want to wear. So while I wait, I decided to go on my Xbox and play some video games with some of my friends, the good thing about these friends is they don't know I'm a Brony, besides this girl who's gamer tag was Ladenprune. We all love to play Call of Duty: Ghost when I'm online with my friends. usually, my friends would call me 'the silent head hunter', the reason why was because my favorite classes I use are a sniper rifle and marksman rifle, all of them with silencers. today was free-for-all, I usually hide in bushes and hills, mostly in grassy area's. However, there are some map's that don't have grass, so as a sniper, you need to find the highest point in the map where you can easily shoot your enemies unnoticed. That is the number one rule of a sniper, and I follow it all the way, even if people call me a camper. However, today was different, we were going to play on a map that had no sniper points or camo area's.

"ok, is everyone ready?"

"hold on!" I rushed as I made a assault rifle class, I knew nothing about theses' type of classes, and I was doomed. After a few rounds of of me getting my ass kicked. there was a knock at the door, my mom answered the door and luna walked in. As she walked in, she noticed me playing COD and walked over to me.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh, hold on." I grabbed my head set. "hey guy's continue without me, I got to talk to someone, and what ever you do, do not kill me."

"got it."  everyone stopped and I was able to talk to Luna, though I felt like they were going to kill me anyways.

"Hey Luna, just playing some video games. It's something that entertains people."

"So, what are you playing"

"Oh, I'm playing Call of Duty with some of my friends, and right now, I'm getting my ass kicked, the map they chose was something I had no experience with. So I had to create a class that I have no experience with."

"Call of Duty?"

right, forgot, equestria  doesn't have gaming systems. "Never mind, its a lot of explaining."

"can I try?" When those words came out, my jaw felt Like it dropped on the ground. princess luna, playing call of duty, I'm just going crazy over the idea of her play a video game.

"um, ok, let just run you through the basics." I told Luna all the controls for the game and basics of how to play. after a few minutes of explaining, we did some practice rounds, I placed her against me and 3 computer's in a free for all. I watched as she got better and better at playing the game until finally I felt she was ready to go against my friends. When we were finished I grabbed my headset and got into a chat with my friends. "hey guy's it's me, so one of my friends wants to play against you, is that ok... ok... got it, send me a invite." A invite for a private match free for All on Call of duty popped up. We accepted it and we were transferred into the party. "Ok is everyone ready?"

"yep"

"Ok, lets begin." the game started and Luna selected her class. It was a honey badger with armor piercing rounds and thermal scope. I had a marksman rifle with silencer and thermal. As we played, I watched as Luna kicked everyone's asses in free for all. it was amazing, I felt like laughing until... bang... Luna was shot in the head with a sniper rifle. I looked at the kill cam to see who killed her and I freak when I saw who killed Luna... ladenprune. the only person in the game who knew how to fight with only a sniper rifle, and she was good. I got mad when she did this, I aimed at ladenprune's head and shot... headshot, she fell to the ground. the game ended and the chat was silent.

"did you just kill laden?"

"yeah" I replied, "she killed my friend" a message from laden popped on the screen, it said 'I didn't know'. "well laden, know you do." I turn off the system and covered my face with my hands.

"kyle... you ok?"

"yeah, luna, I'm just tired that's all. I'm going to the roof" I got out from my seat and went outside to calm myself down. I was feeling many emotions, but one emotion stand out the most from all of them, sadness.
