The Lover and The Moon

When I woke up from my little mind fight,  I found myself in what seem to be a hospital bed. I could barley move my body, so I decided move my head, I looked around and saw medical supplies around me. I saw a window with the moon looking through and a couch underneath it, on that couch I saw Luna, sleeping. It was cute how she slept in fact it was a little bit funny, she had her head resting on the pillows and her legs hanging off the couch. Wait how did I get to the hospital, Did Luna carry me to the hospital? It doesn't matter, all I care about is Luna is with me. however it looks like my hands and forehead is bandaged up pretty baldly. I looked down and my hands were covered with gauze and medical tape, my hand was still bleeding a little bit. I could still move my hands and fingers. I got out of my bed very slowly, I grabbed my sheets and covered Luna with them so she didn't get cold. I grabbed my phone and earplugs and decided to take a little stroll to the balcony of the hospital. I walked all the way there and stood under the beautiful night sky. I put my earplugs in and played the same music I sang to the moon. As I listen I started to sing, it brought back so many memories, including the first day I met Luna. It brought back so many memories until a memory I will always fear appeared in my mind. I was young, My grand father was a kind man, he was there for me when my parents were out, then one day he past away. everyone was emotional and started to cry, but for me, I didn't, I just sat there and stared at his lifeless body emotion less. my eye's tear up a little bit every time I think of that time. I was too busy being emotional and I felt arms rap around my sides. It was Luna, I could hear her crying. "Kyle you had me so worried." I turned around and hugged her.

"Luna, it's ok, I let my rage control me." I said as I ran my hand through her hair. "I'm so sorry I made you worry." Luna was calming down as I told her not to worry. "Luna, remember the song I sang when you first arrived."

"yes, why?"

"well there's a back story to it. I got this song from my grandfather, he was a nice person, he took care of me when I was young when my parents were gone." I looked up in the sky, "my grandfather was amazing, one day he got sick and then, he died. when he died, I sat in front of his lifeless body with no emotions and no sadness. I would listen to this song to remember him"

"I... I had no idea that song meant so much to you."

"I know, but now, this song reminds me of another thing."

"and what's that?"

I turn around facing Luna and hugged her, "It reminds me the first day we met. the day you came to me on the top of my house."

"Kyle."

"Luna... I-I love you." I pushed my face into hers and I kissed her, my first kiss, with the person I love, I mean, pony I love. I pulled my lips away from her and looked at her. Both of our faces were glowing when I did that and I was so nervous.

"kyle, I... I love you too, I was worried I was going to lose you when you acted weird back at the prom."

"Luna, I would never leave you. If I did that, I would never forgive myself, I love you Luna. I will always protect you no matter the cost." I hugged her and we both left the hospital balcony. As we left, I still was listening to my music, I would sing some songs to her, and she would sing with me. we continued until we got back to the hospital room and we both went back to sleep.
