Resistance

“The Combine… Where do I begin? Im not sure I’m the person to explain it but I'll try…”

Dan said, sweating a bit.

“Well… A long time ago there was this advance alien race, the Combine, who invaded a place or a universe called Zen…” Dan pointed at the vort. “That's were vortiguants a come from. After Zen was attack the people on my planet working at a place called Black Mesa were messing around with shit, then opened a rift to Zen. The aliens from Zen saw this as am escape and with orders from their leader, I don’t really remember his name, went to earth and killed almost all the personnel there. With the exception of the one free man and Mr. Calhoun. Gordon Freeman is such an egghead… But he's a fucking badass. He's the reason I'm still alive. Anyways, army come by, kills almost everyone. The Combine see this shit and invade earth, my home planet, and defeated all the worlds army's in 7 hours. Then they enslaved us all basically. But we were done with their shit and formed the resistance, we were mopping the floor with the Combine. We destroyed the citadel, their main HQ and when it exploded we died. I'll assume right now that we won the fight against the Combine because we have the Freeman on our side. He killed like 4 striders at once so I assume he could wipe the floor with some elites.” Dan said, getting a pat on the back from Amanda and Noah as Twilight wrote everything down.

“So… You're soldiers? If the Combine defeated all you’re worlds army's in 7 hours than how is the ‘resistance’ still running?” Twilight asked. The other ponies were scared and intrigued of the 3 (or 4 if you count the silent vort.) rebels.

“Because were badass.” Noah said, crossing his arms.

“That doesn't make any se-“

“FUCK YOU WERE BADASS!” Noah said, getting right in Twilights face.

“Oh… Okay…” Twilight back peddled back to her friends.

“But… We need to take you to the princesses today…” Twilight said, getting all the rebels to nod in response.

“Okay. But their better be some fucking antlion… Or fresh bacon. Haven't had hat stuff in forever.” Amanda said standing up and slinging her AA-12.

“Wait guys, what about the hunter?” Noah asked getting looked from everyone. “I mean, I'm sure the vort could help fix it and give It power!” Dan said, looking back in the direction of their little camp.

“Alright fine…” Amanda said as she walked to the camp, shoulders slouched.

“Oh fuck yes!” Noah was seeping excitement as he charged towards to clearing.

“What's a ‘hunter’?” The orange pony said in a slither accent. Wow haven't even noticed the hat yet.

“Combine technology. That god not the synth. We'd all be dead…” Dan said gaining gulps of fear from the ponies.

“What's a synth?” Twilight asked.

“I'll explain it later, let's go.” Dan started to walk down the pack.

Crunch

“AH!” The butter yellow Pegasus yelled, jumping up.

“Oh you stepped on the dead wolf thing.” Dan said, pointing to the dead wood wolf.

“You killed the Timber wolf?!” Twilight sounded angry, as of the wolf was innocent.

“Hey not my fault it tried to eat Noah!” Dan said, then proceeded to walk towards the clearing, followed by the ponies.

After cutting through some grass they made it to the clearing, and by the looks of it the chopper was already repaired. Wow, way to go team.

“All aboard the flying death machine express!” Noah said, climbing into the pilot seat.

“That thing cant fly! It's just a hunk of metal!” Rainbow said, not believing Noah.

“OH YEAH BITCH?!” Noah has a short fuse to say the least. Needless to say all the ponies stepped back a bit at the vulgar language.

“UP UP AND AWAY!” The chopper propellor spun at a slow speed, they picked up. Then got into the air, leaving a group of bewildered ponies.

“Alright, I gotta hand it to the Combine… This shits awesome…” Noah said, wrapping his arm around one of the side handles on the choppers hull. A rustling could be heard near the tree line, until a big 3 legged creature popped out along with 2 more of the ‘humans’.

“Those aren’t Combine! It's more rebels! Hey over here!”
