The Voice- Chapter 1
Load Full StoryNext ChapterRainbow Dash opened her eyes. She regained her senses, and realized she was lying on a stack of newspaper articles. Stunned by where she was, she quickly regained her footing and began to investigate her surroundings.
Alright, WHERE THE HELL AM I? She thought to herself. Her heart began to drum against her chest as she began to panic. She quickly turned her head to face all directions, but that made her nauseous, and she began to feel a thick liquid climb up her throat. Everything was happening so quickly, she couldn't comprehend what was going on. She felt herself suddenly get cold and hot repeatedly, and broke out in a cold sweat. She lied back down, closed her eyes, and relaxed. Settle down Rainbow... She said to herself, trying to make a desperate attempt at reassuring her mind that nothing bad was going to happen. So.... you're in the middle of nowhere in a secluded room, having no memory of what just happened. What would my mom do? She probably got lost a lot, the whore... She said to herself. She felt a quick thin layer of anger wash over her. She tried to piece together memories, trying to remember what happened to her and how she got here. All she could remember was that she was bragging towards everyone about how awesome she was. In fact, thats pretty much all she could remember from anything nowadays. Overwhelmed by emotion and fear, she went back to sleep. She didn't care that she was in a completely foreign place, as long as there was a place to sleep, she could care less. Just like her mom did to her dad during her childhood.
Ah, yes, the memories of childhood. Filled with the flashbacks of playing at the park, getting triple chocolate ice cream, and getting a free balloon. But, for Rainbow, it mostly consisted of the constant racket of what seemed to be a dead fish getting sliced and diced in a blender that had tourettes. Her mother and father constantly yelled at each other, whether it'd be about how much they had to pay on their bill, or who ate the last piece of pizza. They kept yelling insults at each other in the most creative ways imaginable. Oh Celestia, it was worse than the YouTube comment section. And while they yelled and argued, Rainbow sat back in the corner of the apartment, playing with her toys that she found in a nearby dumpster. Incredibly fond memories, to say the least.
Rainbow gained her senses as she began to awake, and started to panic.
WHERE THE HELL....oh, right. Dammit.
Her head spun around in circles, as if she was trying to finger paint a ball on a 1 mile long canvas. She tried flying to see if there was a vantage point of some kind in the room, but her wings were, wait, GONE!?
She began looking over her shoulder to find empty space on her back. Not only an empty space on her back, but a BLANK FLANK!?
What in the name of Celestia is going on here? Whoever did this is going to pay....maybe once I found them I'll sonic rainboom, do a complete 1080- oh.
The room was texture less, and was completely blank of an incredibly bright white paint. There were lights on the ceiling, illuminating the room around her. What seemed to be the entranceway was a completely solid metal wall. The rest was the white room.
Rainbow "dashed" into the metal wall to see if it would break. Not a single dent or scratch.
"GET, ME, OUT OF HERE!" She said as she punched the metal wall with all of her force and might. She fell back down to the floor, exhausted.
*Crackle* *Static* "Hey, can you hear me?" A loud voice came from seemingly nowhere.
