Resigned Luck- Chapter 2

Previous Chapter

*Crackle* "Uh, I wanted to record a message for you, to help you get settled in on your first night. I know it can be a little overwhelming, *static* but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about! You'll do fine! So, lets just focus on getting you through your first week, alright?

"That sounded familiar........Well, shit. Now I have no fucking clue what to do." Rainbow thought to herself.

Rainbow walked and paced to other sides of the room, looking for any kind of speakers to locate where the voice was coming from. There were no speakers in sight, which angered Rainbow as she dug her hooves into her face. She felt hopeless and trapped inside of a dream, some type of insulation that angered her, but aroused her curiosity....

As she was still pacing, she wondered. She wondered about how she was going to get out of here. She wondered why her mom is such a whore. Well, that's another story.  She still stared at the same wall that mocked her and laughed at her, teasing her so much so that it could cause her to go mad at any second. Of course, nopony has been turned into a psychopath by staring at a wall, but hey! There's a possibility, and what kind of story WOULDN'T have possibility?

"Please, please get me out of here! I'm begging you! Look! I'm actually begging! Oh, whoa is me," Rainbow said as she threw herself onto the floor in a cowardice pose, hoping that this would engross the attention of someone.

No reply.

It's either everyone who works here has the attention span of a fish, are indeed a species of fish, or.............no one is here at ALL. That would definitely be a problem nopony would like to go through. But, as Rainbow's hopes were still high, just like her ego, she kept trying to look for a secret of some kind.

Rainbow messed with her dangling hair, and wondered why they hadn't removed that along with her wings and cutie mark. Do cutie marks even grow back?

She looked down at the floor, remembering her friends as they were at a picnic in the park. She remembered the warm feelings of them being around her, providing her with care and plenty of comfort if anything went wrong. She never gave them comfort. She remembered when they came to her birthday party and gave her new awesome clothes to wear. She never got them anything.

Rainbow felt water trickle down her cheek to the floor.

*Click*

Where did that come from? Rainbow said to herself as she quickly began to trot around the room.

As she stepped onto the floor, a pressure plate sinked into the floor. It seemed to do nothing.

Rainbow stepped off the plate. She wondered, Why didn't that go off before?
