Chapters Author's Note
Sup everypony. I thought that I would put this story up just for the hell of it. Since that I play guitar, and I like Metal music, and that Twilight's my favorite character out of the main six. So yeah, why not?
Hanging Out
I've been in Equestria for three months now, and I've been having some trouble making new friends, since that I'm a human and all, and I play guitar. I play a seven string Jackson guitar, and I have to say, it's a pretty badass guitar. I've been staying at a castle that's not for from Ponyville, I tried to make new friends, but they never got use to me, and that's something that really gets me. But usually all I do is just sit on the couch and play my guitar while she and the baby assistant dragons gone for an errand. They've been gone for like thirty minutes now, and I've been trying my best not to flirt with her, but sometimes I can't help it. My heart races when she comes near me, talks to me, and so on. Yes I have a crush on her. And she makes me smile every time I feel down, though whats complicated is that I don't know how to confess my feelings for her. Will she be the same for me? That I don't know. But I never bother asking for advise from her friends, or the baby dragon. I haven't told her friends either about me having a crush on her, as I just sat there on the couch with my guitar in my arms, and playing through the frets. I hear a door open, and it came from the front, they must be back already. I put my guitar on the guitar stand, and walked to the main entrance. Yep, there back already. She stops and looks at me, with that smile she always gives me.
"Hey, guitar player." She teases, I always loved that name that she gave me. It makes me want to smile.
"Um... hey whats up?"
"We just got back from sugarcube corner." The baby assistant dragon responses with a cupcake in his claws.
"Oh thats cool." I said trying to put on a smile. I remember going to sugarcube corner, Mr and Mrs. Cake didn't like me very much, and I just ran back to the castle when they kept yelling get out, because of what I am.
"Hey, don't feel bad." Twilight said wrapping a wing around me. "they'll get use to you eventually. You just have to get out more, thats all." Hearing her say that makes my heart beat really fast, and it warms my heart that she really cares, and i can't thank her enough for that. And I just now notice that she has a box of cupcakes on her back.
"So, what are the cupcakes for exactly?" I asked nervously.
"Oh, we're having a party at Applejacks, and she wants to know if you can bring your guitar along with you, the others will be there. "
"Okay," I said blushing.
"Uh... Are you okay?"
"Huh?... Oh yeah, sorry." I said getting back to attention. So I ran to the room where I left my guitar, and I packed it in the guitar case, along with the amp in my hand, holding it by the handle, and the pick in my pocket. Now with my hands full, we made our way to Applejacks farm. I remember Applejack introduce me to the Apple Family, they we're really nice, and they got use to me very well. Even her little sister, Applebloom. At least I get to hang out with my new friends, or as I like to call them, My best friends. Since that they gave me a new life, a home, even care.
We arrive at Sweet Apple Acres, Everyone, or as they put it "Everypony." Is already here for Applejacks birthday party. It wasn't long when they noticed me, Twilight, and Spike.
"Howdy ya'll, glad you could make it Twi."
"I'm very happy to be here Applejack." Twilight said with a smile on her face to respect her friend. "Happy birthday."
"Yeah, happy birthday A.J." Spike said with excitement that he's ready to party.
"Aw shucks. Applejack said dismantleling her hat. "And I see you brought ur friend along. How you doin' partner?"
"I'm doing awesome A.J. Thanks for asking, happy birthday." I said with a smile. She even notices the guitar case that I have, and the big amp.
"Thank you for bringing your guitar to my birthday party sugarcube, I've never seen anypony play that fast on guitar in my whole life, especially when it's a... seven string." Applejack said taking a good look at my guitar case when it has the big bold letters in cursive that reads "Jackson" on it.
"Yeah, I'm a god." I teased Applejack, we both shared a laugh, and walked into the barn, everyone else noticed me.
"Alright, we have a guitar god in the house!" The rainbow haired Pegasus said flying to me. I put my amp down and gave her a knuckle touch (or hoof touch as they call it here.) "How you doing bro? You still playing that guitar?"
"I'm doing awesome Rainbow, thanks for asking. And yes I still play that guitar." I said as I put the case down and opened it. Her eyes widened an amazement, she always told me how awesome my guitar is, having an extra string and all.
"Cool." She whispered. At the corner of my eye, I see a microphone on the end of the barn. It's been placed there... by Twilight, does she want me to sing or something? I hope not. Unless if someone will sing when I play the guitar, though it is Applejacks birthday, so I can't go to far on guitar. I do play Metal, so I'll go a bit smoother, like Progressive Metal. Yeah, Progressive Metal's perfect.
"Well bro what are you waiting for? Let's hook this bad boy up!" Rainbow Dash said in excitement. I rolled my eyes, but smiled as I picked up my guitar and amp, trying to find a perfect spot to play on.
"Hey, over here!" The pink party pony calls out. I walked over there, and I notice that Twilight's with her. Oh shit.
"You ready to hook this up?" Twilight asked with a smile on her face.
"Uh... Sure," I said nervously. "But before we do that, am I gonna sing in front of... everybody?" I whispered and shivered as I said the last word in the sentence.
"Well of course you are," She said giving me a smile. "Don't be nervous, i hear you sing all the time while you play the guitar. You have an amazing voice." Oh my god, hearing that made me blush like my face is bleeding to death. Though I have thought about it for a minute, could this be my chance? My chance to be with the pony that's the princess of friendship? The pony that I truly love? It could be. I nervously gulped, I have never performed in front of a crowd before, but it's not much, just six ponies and a dragon, and let's not forget about the Apple Family, and the cutie mark crusaders. I took a deep breath.
"Okay." I said silently and scared.
"Alright, let's get this guitar hooked up than." She said levitating my amp with her magic, I watched Twilight, Spike, and Rainbow Dash hook up my guitar amp up, since that they know that I don't know how to hook it up myself, cause theres no plug ins in Equestria. She levitates me the guitar chord as they we're done hooking it up. "Try it out, see if it works." So thats what I did, I plugged my guitar up, and start to do the guitar solo. I can hear the volume turned almost all the way up, and Rainbow Dash testing the microphone. yep, it's gonna be a long night for me. I tried to think of my favorite Metal bands to calm me down, but this could be my big chance, to be with Twilight. And since that I haven't recorded a song yet, maybe a cover won't hurt. But all the headbanging music that I listen to, I can't go to far on that. I remember thinking about playing some Progressive Metal earlier when I was talking to Rainbow Dash. Yeah, Progressive metal won't hurt, will it? Maybe I can play some Dream Theater. So while everyone was doing there thing, setting up tables, decorating, all that stuff. I began practicing the song that I'm gonna play, I can see everyone watching me, even the cutie mark crusaders who really like to watch me play my guitar. I can hear the singer in my head as I played through the song, I finished in no time as we we're about to get ready.
Back at home, I remember thinking what my cousin told me. "Just imagine everyone in their underwear." How can I when theirs ponies instead of humans? But it's for the best, i could forget that everyone's here. At least that's the only option that I could think of. .
"you ready sugarcube?!" Applejack yelled from the barn doors.
"Uh... yeah," I said through the microphone, than looked at Twilight, who's right next to Fluttershy, and the cutie mark crusaders. "I'm ready."
Well, here goes nothing.
I get in position, my mouth just inches away from the microphone. I was scared, than as I whispered in Rainbows ear the song I'm gonna play, when she flew next to me. She excepted it. I chose Dream Theaters, The Enemy Inside. As the riffs start coming in, I played along a few seconds after it started. I was trying to forget that everyone was in the room, as i started singing the song. I had a different feeling going through my body, a feeling that I never felt before, it was amazing. It felt like this is it, I'm gonna get Twilight to be my date. I saw everyones eye widen in amazement, even Granny Smith who was really surprised at my guitar skills, I then realize that theirs nothing to be afraid of when you're performing on stage. It'll be like the dream you've always wanted, I headbang along the riffs, sang at the point when the energy inside me keeps getting stronger and stronger. This could be it.
The song ended, leaving a cheering crowd of ponies, and hoping leaving Twilight in amazement. The cutie mark crusaders seem to enjoy this, and I'm certainly enjoy this myself.
It's amazing at what you could accomplish. I heard everyone to play one more song, so thats what I did. The night goes on when the loud guitar riffs are going right through me, and the loud beating on the drums which filled me up with excitement, that shows a sign that says, "Don't stop playing, you're doing awesome." As the song ended, I felt sweat dripping from my face, I put the guitar down and walked away from the microphone standing on the floor at the back of the barn. Twilight walks up to me.
"My goodness, that was... amazing." She said with a lowered tone voice, and amazement in her eyes. I blushed with a response. Hey, the party's still going on, maybe it's time to ask some advise from anyone?
"Hmm... Can you excuse me for a sec Twilight?"
"Why of course." She said with a smile on her face. I walked off to Rainbow Dash, who found me in the Everfree forest injured, and patched me up.
"Hey Dash." I said getting her attention.
"Oh hey bro, what's up?"
"Can I talk to you? In private?"
"Yeah, sure." She said as her and I walked out the barn. "What is it?"
"I... need your help on something."
"What is it you need help with?"
"Do you know anything about... relationships?" I ask nervously. Rainbow Dashes eyes widen in shock.
"Uh... I don't know, why? Are you... In love?" She said giving me a playful punch.
"Y-yes." I said blushing.
"Sweet, who is it?"
"T-Twilight." I said quietly and blushing even redder. Rainbow's face turns into shock.
"Whoa, dude, you should totally ask her out on a date. She'll defiantly want to go out with a guitar player, and a singer like you."
"Really?" I asked with my eyes widen in shock.
"Of course bro, just try to play it cool, tell her how you feel, andIi promise if it works, she'll totally want to be with an awesome guitarist."
"Thanks Rainbow, that helps me a lot." I said with a smile, she returns the smile as we both walked inside the barn, where everyone is still partying like they never partied in a hundred years. I could see Twilight doing her dance move, Rainbow gives me a little punch to get my attention.
"Go and talk to her bro."
I walked over to her, slowly but surly, I approached her in no time. As the music dies, she stopped dancing. I could see the sweat dripping from her face and mane. Oh god, she's a goddess. It wasn't long till she noticed me.
"Oh hi, didn't see you there." She said wiping the sweat off her face. I looked to Rainbow Dash, she gave me a smile and nod, it's now or never I guess.
"Hey Twilight, can I ask you something?" I asked nervously.
"Of course, what is it that you want to ask me?" She asked with those big violet orbs, and that smile that I love so much. I took a deep breath, hoping to let the nervousness out of me. I look up at the ceiling for a sec to think, "Please accept this, please." I sat down next to her, now's the time to ask her.
"Twilight, will you..." I paused for a sec, I was so damn scared, my heart racing so fast that it feels like it's about to explode. I was shaking really bad, I couldn't help but to think of what Rainbow told me. Than I found a small flower beside me, and handed it to Twilight. "Would you... go on a... date with me?"
Her eyes widen in surprised, my cheeks turned a rosy red, she smiled in a response. As she did, she took it from my hand, and I continue to tell her about how I feel about her.
"You see Twilight, I had... a crush... on you ever since we've met, and I thought to myself that she's the one, and i couldn't be with anyone than you Twi. You're beautiful and, I... love you." I said blushing. She smiles at me with that blushing face of hers, ears folded down, with the flower still in her mouth. I looked around for a sec, I see everyone watching this romantic scene that I had just started with Twilight.
"Aww... that's very sweet of you to say, but we can't."
"Wh-why not?" I asked with a big frown, and tears start to form in my eyes.
"You're really sweet, and you play the guitar really well, and you do keep me company when nopony's around, but we can't because of how everypony is acting around you every time you're in town. How scared they are of you, and I can't imagine what everypony would think if I started... dating a human. I like you too, I really do, it's just that, we can't, and it's also because of,-" She pauses for a sec. I was nervous of what she might say. Than she finally speaks. "It's... the heavy metal stuff you listen to." My eyes widen in shock, you can't be serious, not her too. "I just... can't stand all the screaming and yelling and all that, it just makes me so... scared, I-I just can't stand that. That's why we can't go out."
This is bringing tears to my eyes, I looked away so she won't see me cry. She lifts my head up, looking me in the eye, she knows the redden in my eyes.
"It's okay Twilight, I understand." I said quietly as I got up and walked out the door. She yelled my name out to stop me, but I didn't hear her as I kept walking, tears dripping like waterfalls. In no time, I reached Twilight's castle, sitting down on the couch. Than I noticed I left my guitar and amp at Applejack's. But I didn't care, I just needed some alone time to myself. I began crying on the couch, thinking to myself. 'I can't believe she said no, was she trying to tell me that everyone in Ponyville will hate her when she's dating me? Why does this always happen to me?' As I was thinking, I was interrupted buy a door from the main entrance that has been opened. I didn't bother getting up and go look to see who it was, it's probably Twilight, I hear sounds off hoofsteps coming my way.They stopped when they reached me, I didn't bother bringing my head up, I kept thinking it's her. I just wanted to scream go away, but before I could say anything, a voice comes out to get my attention.
"Sugarcube?"
I brought my head up, there in front of me was Applejack and Rainbow Dash both holding my guitar and amp. They notice the redden in my eyes, they can see the broken heart that i just received from the pony that I love.
"What do you want?" I asked trying to keep control of my voice. They put my guitar and amp down on the ground, and sat right beside me.
"Are you okay hon? Do you... want to talk about it?" Applejack said putting a forehoof around my neck.
"No." I said bursting into tears. "Is it really because that I listen to Metal? Thats why she doesn't like me?"
"No sugarcube, she likes you, she just couldn't stand that stuff. She knows it's your passion but, she just can't stand it. I'm sorry she broke your heart."
Applejack and Rainbow gave me a smile to cheer me up, but I didn't return the smile, I quickly got up, grabbed my guitar and amp, and ran to my room, leaving Applejack and Rainbow behind. I'm in my room finally, I sat my guitar and amp down, and I slammed the door in anger and locked it. Bursting into tears, I laied on my bed, arms covering my face.
'Not her too, why is it the Metal music that always bother every girl every time I ask them out on a date? it's just not right. Metal music is like, my life, it's what keeps my heart beating. I just can't believe that she thinks of that too.'
Than my thought we're interrupted by a knocking on my door, I didn't even bother getting off my bed and answer it, than I hear a familiar voice that called my name from behind the door. It's Twilight.
"Are you okay in there? Do you... want to talk about it?"
I didn't say anything, I just lie there still, nothing to say. All I wanted to scream was go away. But I still said nothing, not a single word has escaped my throat. Than the door opens slowly, pokes her head in. She can see the red in my eyes, she does know already that she's broken my heart. I can see the sad look on her face from across the room from my bed to the door. She walks in and sits next to me, putting a wing around me to calm me down, all I could think of was, 'Is she gonna apologize? Or is she still gonna say no? I can't tell the differences from the sad look on her face.' Than she finally speaks.
"A-are you okay? I didn't mean to hurt you, it's just that... I-"
"No Twilight, I should of just kept my fucking mouth shut," I said trying to control my voice. "I just... I thought you like stallions who could play guitar and... sing and all that type of stuff, and I thought doing what you always do which is study, would help me get with you. But no, it's that fucking heavy metal music that I listen to, when they talk about falling down, hurting other people and..." I paused, and broke into tears.
"Listen, i like you too. I really do. But we just can't, because. I know you love Metal a lot and..." She pauses. "I just can't!" She yelled as she ran out of the room leaving me. I tried to call her name out but she probably ignored me when she ran out of the room. I slammed the door and lock it, than I got on the floor, my head in my arms, and I just sat there crying like no one gives a fuck about me anymore. Why?
I have no idea how long I sat there, thinking about what I just did to make her just leave without saying anything. I thought about what to do for a sec, I look around, I stared at my double bass drum set. No, not in the mood for drums right now. Guitar? No, not in for that either. Damn, what can I do besides just sitting on the floor doing absolutely nothing, and just sitting there crying because of a broken heart. As I was still thinking, i decided to call it a night, and went straight to bed. I turned off the light beside me as I got in the covers, in pitch darkness, except Luna's moon shining through the window. As i lay there, I kept thinking, I looked at my Jackson seven string, where the moon's light was beaming at, I think as I lie there, than it hits me, i made my decision, even though it's a really tough thing to do, but it's worth it.
The next day passes, as I got downstairs, I see Spike cooking breakfast. It looks like he's cooking some Toast, waffles, etc. It wasn't long till he notices me.
"Hey bro, you feeling better?" He asked trying to look out for his friend.
"I'm fine." I said in a quite voice. He notices the sad look still on my face from last night, he knows that I can't stop thinking about Twilight. But than he notices something else, I didn't bring my guitar downstairs with me. Huh, that's weird, I always bring my guitar downstairs every morning, I never bring the amp though.
"Where's your guitar?"
"Huh? Oh uh, it's still in my room."
"Why?"
I... just didn't wanna bring it down here, that's all." I said not even looking at him. "Wheres Twilight?"
"I guess she's still in bed. But anyways, breakfast is ready." He said as he brings a plate in front of my vision. I start eating slowly, still thinking about what happened last night, it's really hard to get over with. I just couldn't help it, I love Twilight, I wish she would just give me a chance. Judging people (or ponies) buy what they listen to is just wrong. Just because I like Metal doesn't mean that I'm gonna do any of that stuff for real. My thoughts we're interrupted, and the silence was broken by hoofsteps. I look to the side of where it's coming from, Twilight's awake. I looked back at my plate, and I just kept eating. She notices that I'm still upset that she ran out of my room last night, I saw her sat down, and started to eat her breakfast.
"Good morning Spike."
"Morning Twilight."
She said good morning to me, I respond back in a quiet voice.
"Hey, wheres your guitar at? You always bring it down here every morning."
"It's in my room."
"Why?"
"I... just didn't want to bring it down here this morning." I said as I continued eating. She knows that I always bring a smile to my face when I play through the seven strings of what I call "awesomeness. " I finished my plate, and went to the sink to wash it off. I was going back into my room, until.
"Hey bro, wanna... go for a walk?" Spike asked. A look of confusion on my face. Than I nod, maybe a walk can't hurt. Can it? So that's what we did, we waved goodbye at Twilight. She than walks to the sink to rinse out her plate, than she walks upstairs. Than she stops at the front of my door of my room, opens it.
"Huh?"
Wait, wheres my drum set? Wheres my guitar that I always play? Where the hell is everything about music? She looks around, she stops at where my double bass drum set use to be. Than walks around some more, to where my guitar stand was, and my guitar case. She has that puzzled look on her face, but there is this one place that she hasn't looked in my room, my closet. Twilight slowly walks to my large walk in closet, opens it, her jaw drops in shock.
"So there's his music stuff, why would he shove everything in here?" She asked herself. Every things here, my double bass drum set, my CD's, and my guitar case. Twilight walks to the guitar case and opens it, my seven string still in it's case. Why did I shove all my music stuff in my closet for no reason? it doesn't make any since.
Mean while, Spike and I was still walking, Spike wanted to know what happened last night, I kept telling him that I didn't want to talk about it. We walked around Ponyville for quite a while now, I didn't care if anypony was scared of me, I was just minding my own business. Not even bothering to look if their just staring at me, or what. All i could think of, was Twilight, and what I did this morning before I went downstairs. Than rainbow Dash saw us from the clouds.
"Hey! What's up bro? You... feeling better from last night?"
I didn't say anything, I just stood there in silence. Trying to find the right words to say. She notices my silence, lands next to me.
"Gee, I'm really sorry bro. I thought that... She really liked your voice, and your guitar playing, that's all, but hey, theirs tones of mares out there for you," She said as she stood up and put a hoof around my neck. "And I mean tones of mares out there who likes Metal. But hey, to make you feel better, Rarity has the same problem you had last night."
I chuckled at that a bit, But I still feel down about last night. It's really hard to get that out of my head. As the day goes on, Rainbow walked with Spike and I. We approached Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack was bucking Apple trees, along with Big Mac helping out with the remaining apples on the ground.They noticed us.
"Hey sugarcube, you feelin' better?' She asked me with a heart warming smile. Still not saying anything, I just wish that I can yell, 'Shut the fuck up!' or 'Just leave me alone, I don't want to talk about it!' that kind of tone. But I didn't want to be rude to my new friends like that, I'm not that type of person. But she also notices my silence, than Spike speaks.
"Uh A.J.? i don't think he likes to talk about it."
"I understand," Applejack said taking her hat off. "I'm really sorry about what happened last night sugarcube, you'll find a mare that's right for ya, I promise."
"Eeyup." Big Mac said with also a heart warming smile on his face, which gave me a weak smile. Than Spike and I headed back to Twilights castle, she notices the look on her face.
"Spike, can you go upstairs for a minute?"
Spike does what he's told, his feet taking him up the stairs to him and Twilights room and waited. Twilight asked me to sit down right beside her on the couch in the big living room. I did as i was told, I was a bit nervous of what she's gonna say.
"Why is all your music stuff in your closet?"
Oh shit, she knows. I can't tell her, I just couldn't, can i lie?
"Uh... well... I... One of my kick peddles on the drums broke, and my guitar has a problem when I plug it into the amp. I tried to fix it this morning, but it was a pain in the ass to do." I said nervously, she gives me that look, it's that look that I hate so much. That look that means, 'I know you're lying to me.' "I'm gonna go upstairs." I said as I quickly got off from the couch, and ran to my room, leaving Twilight on the couch. I slammed the door behind me, and i think to myself.
'Aw fuck.'
Are You Out Of Your Mind?
I stood there, shivering. I'm scared as fuck, technically she wants to know why I threw all my music stuff in the closet. It's really hard to tell her why, but I just can't tell her, she'll think that it's just... stupid off me to do. Than a knock appears on my door startling me, I opened it. Twilight stood there, I let her in.
"Why did you?" She asked what sounds like an anger tone in her voice. Fuck it, it's time to tell the truth.
"Listen Twi," I said as I got on my knees, making eye contact. "I... gave up my passion on playing music." A shock look appears on her face.
"Why? I thought you like playing music." Than she thinks for a sec. "You didn't give up playing music because of me, did you?" I nod my head slowly, tears starting to form in my eyes.
"I just... when you told me that we can't go out, I had to do it. I just want to make you happy, I just can't stand being alone. Back at home everyone would make fun of me because I never had a girlfriend before in my whole life, not one. It got to the point where I'm like, screw this, it's for the best. and..." I paused with tears running down my cheeks like waterfalls. I felt what feels like a hoof on my cheek.
"Listen, you didn't have to do that. I know you like me, but we just can't."
"Is it because I'm a human too?"
"Well... I don't know what everypony else in town will think if we... dated. it's just that, we just can't alright? Now just... Ugh!" She said as she ran out the door, again. This time, I didn't bother to stop her. What the hell can I do? Do i have to give up my whole body now? I sat there, in tears. I don't know what I'm gonna do. She probably hates me on the inside on what I just told her, or what she just told me. God, this really bugs me a lot, why can't I just do something to make her happy, I really wish that I never asked her out in the first place. Why do I have to ruin everything? Than I felt what feels like weird hands on my shoulder, I turned around. It's Discord,
"Why the lone face Mr. Human?"
"What the fuck do you want Discord?"
I hated Discord, he always teased me over a lot of stuff, even Twilight. I really hate it when he's in my bubble, I just wish that I can knock him into next week. Or hoping never wake up again is what I'm thinking of.
"Well you see, I saw you whimpering like a little baby in here. tell me, whats been bothering you lately?" He said as he turned into what looks like a therapist.
"Fuck you Discord." I said when I walked out, he teleported to me in the hallway.
"Well I'm so sorry, I have never met a human who's been so rude, and so... mad about something that he wont tell his, good friend?"
"I said fuck off." I said raising my voice a little. Why bother telling him about love?
"Very well, Mr... rudeness." He said when he disappears into thin air. Thank god he's gone. I walked downstairs, and I noticed that the main six, and Spike are in total shock.
"Uh... whats going on?" I said getting everyones attention. Fluttershy looked up, in that face of whats called, scared.
"Um... you need to look at this." She said when she started shaking. Spike handed me a parchment that he was holding. I read through it, as I got to the end, my eyes widen in disbelief, and a very scared tone in my voice.
"Oh no."

A Feeling That's Very Bad
My jaw drops once I read the letter, it's from Princess Celestia, i read the letter to myself, it reads.
"Dear guitarist of Equestria,
You must come to Canterlot at once, you are in grave danger. Bring Twilight and her friends with her, they'll need your help on this mission that you cannot do alone.
Princess Celestia."
'Oh shit, this isn't good.' i think to myself, My breathing becomes heavy, and I dropped the parchment, tears flowing from my eyes. I'm scared to death. Rainbow Dash and the others tried to calm me down, but every time they do, I would freak out a little, causing them to back off. But I felt a wing on my back, I had a feeling it's either Rainbow Dash, or Fluttershy. But i looked to where it came from, it's Twilight holding my back with her wing. She gives me a warm smile, letting me know that everything is going to be okay. I asked for a hug, she accepts it. Which made me calm down a little bit finally. Feeling her warm body against mine makes my heart beat at increase rate, and my face turns red like a rose. She breaks the hug, which I didn't want to, but I didn't bother to keep hugging her, if she wants to break the hug, let her. Cause I remember what she said earlier about me when I asked her out. I didn't make eye contact with the ponies that are staring me down, my hands in my pockets, looking forward, scared to death. It's like their all thinking "Hey is that a creepy alien from another planet? Let's all try to ignore it as it walks with the princess." But i didn't mind that one bit, I just wanted this over with.
After what feels like an hour of walking, we reached the train station. As we got into the passenger car, i randomly chose a seat, so I could get a good view of Canterlot. Which looks like to be forever away from where I'm at. I sat there with my arms hugging my legs and I was damn well scared of what Princess Celestia is gonna tell me. The train starts to move, I still look out the window, staring at Canterlot. Than i felt a weight right next to me, i looked to my side, it's Twilight, it seems that she really wants me to calm down, but she doesn't know how. She puts a wing on my back again, and just leaves it there.
"Listen, don't be scared, stay strong for me, okay?" She said giving me a warm smile, I nod with tears flowing down my face. Finally, we reached Canterlot. I watched the guards from the window when they let the train in. 'Damn, reminds me of one of them nutcrackers back at home on Christmas.' I think to myself. The train arrives at the station, I slowly stepped out of the train last, Twilight and them walked me to Princess Celestia's castle. The guards let us in, staring me down, acting like they really want me to leave. But I ignored them a little, and Princess Celestia welcomes me and the others. She asked me to walk closer, I looked at Twilight, scared.
"Go ahead, it's okay." She said to me quietly. So that's what I did, I walked to her and Luna's throne. I'm standing there shivering, they can tell that I'm scared, and their pretty nervous on what their about to tell me. Finally, Celestia sighs, and she finally speaks.
"Dearest guitarist, my sister and I are aware that you are in grave danger."
"From... what?" I asked nervously. Luna lights her horn up, and it draws an image of a really tall pony, except that he has what looks like a human body, half human, half pony, right? he has a nose ring, black eyes with yellow pupils, he kinda reminds me of Satan. They call him "Lord Tirek" as that name escaped Luna's lips, my body begins to shake, Twilight remembers him.
"Hey, he took down my old library, and I thought he's... how did he returned? It's impossible." Twilight said in shock.
"My dearest Twilight, ever since you and your friends defeated him, he has returned except with a guitar."
Wait, he plays guitar now? Since when? I remember Twilight telling me about him, but she never told me that he can play guitar now.
"He is now on the rampage for not magic, but guitar players." My jaw drops when those words escaped Luna's lips, and it shows an image of him taking the power from a pony, and he seems to play the guitar a bit faster every time he takes the magic guitar skills from a pony. So is she saying that i have to beat this guy? Yeah, i'm a really fast guitar player, and I haven't played my guitar in days.
"Dearest guitarist, it is up to you to beat Lord Tirek, and after that defeat, it shall end him once and for all." Said Princess Celestia, this is bringing chills down my spine. I wanted to say that I can't, since that i gave up my passion for music to get with Twilight, but unfortunately, it didn't work. So, time to get back to business, again. I sighed and looked to the floor.
"I'll do it."

Sup everypony. This is the fifth chapter of "What a Guitar God Wants." So this is what I came up with, I hope you guys like it. I tried my very very best to come up with what I could think of, I worked hard on this. So yeah.
As the meeting is done, we walked out of the Princesses castle, I was scared out of my mind. And I was shaking so bad that i couldn't stand it.
"I can't do it." i whispered, "i just can't. How am i suppose to beat that guy, he's bigger then...me!" I said with tears dripping down my face. I know what has to be done is right, and I can't deny it. If I beat him, will I finally date Twilight? Will it be my chance to finally have her? My thoughts were interrupted by a wing on my back.
"It'll be okay," Twilight said getting my attention. "You can do it, I know you could."
"But i can't, I don't... want to play my guitar anymore."
"Listen, just because giving up what you love doesn't mean that you can get that pony or person, to love you back. I done told you that we can't. I'm not trying to hurt you, but you get what I'm saying, don't you?" I knew the answer, I just didn't want to respond. "Just do this once, for me, please?" God damn, hearing that just makes me want to, but what choice do i have? I respond by nodding my head silently. She than leaves me be to talk to her friends, I can't try to force her to date me. So I guess I have to take this seriously.
We reached Twilights castle, I walked up to my room without saying anything. I slammed the door shut, this is really bothering me, so bad that I just want to punch something right now to let all my anger out. And that I have to beat some big ass dude who's gonna kill me with his bare hands, I'll never win Twilight over, not even if I'm a pony. I think to myself as I burst into tears. I sat on the floor crying, thinking of what to do. I hear a knocking on my door, it opens.

"Please, just go away." I said with a whisper and tears falling from my face, I knew that was Applejacks voice, i didn't even bother to look up, I just needed some alone time. So Applejack just left without me noticing. Damn, this is really driving me nuts, even though i have to defeat this guy, I can't and i don't really want to, but i have to save Equestria. With my... Jackson Seven String. I looked at my closet, and think.

I have no idea how long I've been sitting there on the floor. Every time when some one knocks on the door, I just yell "GO AWAY!." Twilight broke my heaart even worse, and theres nothing I could do about it. I just sat there, head to my knees, arms around my legs. Thinking about what to do, in silence. Is it a pain in the ass to get her to like me even more? Or is it because that I'm a human and she's a pony, and how every... pony else acts around me? Oh damn, it really is a pain in the ass. No wonder why most of my favorite metal bands write dark lyrics about their lives, and what they went through. I feel the same way after what I have went through in my life.
Than, I hear what sounds like a Satanic laugh, and I hear what sounds like a guitar solo. I looked out my window, my jaw dropped. Holy fuck, it's him, he's here. He asks the ponies the same question holding his guitar.
"WHERES THE GUITAR GOD OF EQUESTRIA?!"
And everytime when nopony didn't answer (because they have no idea what he's talking about.) He would threaten to kill them, though they would run away. Than a loud knock appears on my door.
"BRO, HE'S HERE! HE'S HERE!" Spike yelled from the top of his lungs.
"I know." I said quietly, than i remembered something. I can't force Twilight to date me, and I didn't want to. So this means... I have no choice. It's time to take out the trash. "Spike... help me with my stuff." I said as I walked into my closet, grabbed my guitar case, looked inside, My black Seven String from Jackson, still in good shape. Spike grabs my amp, which isn't to heavy for him. We both walked downstairs, with my guitar hanging from my strap thats wrapped around my shoulders. Everyone looked at me with surprised look in their eyes. "C'mon," I said to them, and Twilight, who's looking at me with those... eyes, that must mean to her that I'm back, and I'm better than ever. "lets save Equestria."
"WHERE'S THE HUMAN GUITAR PLAYER OF EQUESTRIA?!" Said Lord Tirek getting really angry. "IF I DO NOT FIND HIM, I WILL KILL EVERYPONY IN PONYVILLE, AND ALL OF EQUESTRIA!"
Then...
"RIGHT HERE DIPSHIT!" I yelled out, he looks back, me and the six ponies and Spike walk up. He turns around, he's holding what looks like to be a heavy metal guitar. I'll have to admit, I'm really scared to death. My guitar guitar on my back, and a pick in my pocket. "I'M THE HUMAN YOU WANT YOU BITCH!" I yelled. He laughs, and contacts me, eye level. yep, he's huge.
"You're the human in Equestria who can play as fast as lightning? Well, it's time we have a battle shall we?"
"Lets." I said without thinking.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Twilight asked holding my shoulder with her hoof.
"It's for the best." I said quietly as I walked up to Tirek. He starts to let out an evil laugh, maybe if he wins, I could die. Or maybe if I win, I could win Twilight over. Maybe. I took a deep breath. Put my hand on the frets, grabbed my pick out of my pocket. Putting my hand in position, he starts with a slow solo. I do as well, Than we both pick up the pace. Amazingly, my fingers are faster than he is. He keeps playing, until he begins to slow down.
"No!" He shouts, than Spike turns the volume of the amp as loud as it would go. I use the whamming bar on my guitar to make a much higher pitch on the high E string of my Seven String. 'Time to go black mother fucker.' I think to myself as sweat drips from my face. 'Time for some Death Metal.'
"Come on bro! You can do it!" Spike yelled. My nose starts to bleed, my teeth are clenched in anger, I'm gonna win this, if I keep this up. He drops to the floor.I kept going with my Death Metal riffs.
"Okay, okay... I surrender!"
Yep, I knew he would give up. I stopped playing my guitar, than he looked up at me. With a devilish smile. Oh shit, why did I stop playing? "Hahahaha, you lose, Mr. Human."
"huh?"
"You either give me your soul of guitar playing, or." Then his fingers snap, Above his head is Twilight in a bubble, freaking out. "Or the pony you love." Oh shit, not Twilight.
"DON'T DO IT!" Twilight screams. Oh shit what do I choose? Her, or my life. I looked at my guitar, than back at Twilight. Finally... I have made my decision.
I took my guitar off of my shoulders, and I let it fall to the ground. I can hear Tirek make an evil laugh as I walked to him.
"Let her go first." I said as he lets Twilight go, she runs to me.
"Don't do this, please!" She begged with tears in her eyes. I didn't listen, she knows that I'm giving up everything that I have, for her. I remember thinking in a movie that i hear, "Only a true man would make sacrifices for love like that." I get in position, Twilight calls my name out, yelling from the top of her lungs, "DON'T DO IT!" But I ignored it. Than I felt what feels like pain running through my body, I groaned in pain, than i screamed, tears running down my face. Than everything goes black. Oh god, what just happened? I wake up, it looks like a vision of me in my house. Holy shit am I dead? Did Tirek take my soul just so he can become a better guitarist? I can hear my name called out, but it's not my mom. I know what my mom sounds like, it sounds like Twilight's voice, coming from no where.

"Can you hear me? I'm sorry. What I said was really dumb, when I said I like you, I really mean it. I don't care if you're human or not, I really meant it. Please come back, we need you. And, I love you." Twilight said hugging my body, and tears running down her face. Everyone else watches as they witness a scene that they had never seen before. Yes, i sacrificed my own life, just to save Twilight. Than something hits her, something snapped inside her. She looks up at Tirek as he lets out a evil laugh, Twilight is now pissed off at what he just did, to her lover. She walks up, she tries to remember how she defeated him. Than everyone else joins in as Spike hides behind a rock, They all get together. They remember that it was the last key to a chest that defeated him, but this time, it's the magic of friendship. Twilights horn lights up, lifting her up, than her friends. Leaving my body lying on the ground. Tirek looks back, he notices what their doing. He tries to solo them out with his guitar, but unfortunately. It was to much, and his guitar skills grow weaker and weaker. Than out of no where. A rainbow shoots out of the group, and aims right to Tirek. It destroys his guitar. Leaving a massive white ball of light headed straight to my body. I'm back from the dead.
I gasp for air, trying to breathe. The others helped me out.
"It's okay, it's okay. Breathe, breathe just breathe." Applejack said, I calmed down, everyone hugged me.
"Oh, we thought you were a goner." Pinkie Pie said with tears in her eyes.
"We thought we lost you." Said Fluttershy with tears also in her eyes. I sat there panting for breath. As Twilight approaches me. The others stand back to give her some space. She puts a hoof on my cheek.
"You okay?" She asked with tears in her eyes.
"Yeah... I'm fine." I said with a lowered tone voice, and trying to catch my breath. "Twi, I-" I was interrupted by Twilights lips pressing against mine. She hugged me as she kisses me. I respond back, wrapping my arms around her. She breaks the kiss, looking deep into my eyes. Tears flowing down, and smiling. I look back, knowing that Tirek is laying there.
"Help... me." He said reaching out. I looked at Twilight, and the others.
"Finish him." She said kissing my lips again. I nod, got up, grabbed my guitar and pick. I put my guitar over my shoulders.
"Any last words mother fucker?"
"Please... I'm s-sorry. Please spare me."
"Sorry," I said as I put my hand in position. "You're nothing... but a little piece of shit." I whispered.
"NO!" He yelled as I played a Death Metal rhythm, which made him disappeared, now I'll never see him again. I hear everyone cheered for me hugging me. I'm okay, everything's gonna be okay. Than Twilight walks up to me, I make eye contact with her, my guitar still around my hand as the strap thats holding it is around my body.
"So... Are you my... Speciel somepony now? Are we a couple?" Twilight smiles, she's looking at me with those orbs.
"Yes, yes we are. I'm your special somepony now." She said hugging me. Oh god, if this is a dream, I do not want to wake up. She kisses me with her soft lips. I respond in kind, wrapping my arms around her, she does the same. Everyone watches, including Spike. As Twilight and I are kissing to know that, I'm alive. We also know that it's getting late, so we pack up my gear, and headed to Twilights castle. I sat my amp and guitar down on the wall next to the main entrance door, everyone giving me smiles.
"So bro, you going back to playing some music?" Rainbow Dash speaks with a crack in her voice.
"Yes... I am." I said smiling. Everyone, even Spike and Twilight cheered. After that, they all went home and went to bed. This time, Twilight's calling me to her bed, and asked Spike to sleep downstairs, which Spike didn't mind one bit.

"Dude, you're so awesome at that guitar!" Rainbow Dash yells with excitement.
"Awe-some!" Shouted the pink party pony who they call Pinkie Pie.
"Oh darling, I'm not really into metal, but you're a master at that thing." Rarity said with a huge smile on her face.
"Well I'll be," Applejack said with also a smile on her face. "It looks like we finally have our friend back huh?"
"Oh yeah," I said as I play a random solo on my guitar.
"So, you happy that you're finally with Twilight?"
"You know it." I said while crossing my arms and smirked.
"I guess this is a happy moment for you is it." Fluttershy said giving me a smile.
"Yeah, i guess it is." I said looking at my guitar.
"Speaking of being all happy and all." Twilight said standing up. "You want to move your stuff in my room? You can sleep with me for now on." I nod my head, put my guitar down and followed her to what use to be my room. All that's in there was my drums stacked up, and my bass next to it. Twilight started out with the bass guitar, I grabbed two of the tom drums and followed her. After about twenty minutes of moving into Twilight's room with her. She helped me set my drum set back up, it's now finally a double bass drum set again. She hands me the two drum sticks, i got behind my drums and think of a song to play. Yes, I thought of one. Dethklok's Murmaider. I looked at Twilight to signal her to cover her ears, which she responds. I start playing the drum line to it, I even include a blast beat to it near the end. She hugs me as i finished playing the song.
"I'm glad to see my guitar player back." She whispered into my ear.
"I'm glad to be back too Twilight." You said hugging her back. She knows that I would defiantly give up what ever I have to make her happy. Now with what I love to do, she doesn't mind one bit. Then the rest of the day goes off with us just hanging out, we went to Sugarcube Corner to have our first date. Finally Mr. and Mrs. Cake got use to me, they might of saw me beat Tirek with my awesome guitar skills. We walk out of Sugarcube Corner.
"Well, we just had our lunch. What do you want to do?
"What ever you want Twi. We stil have the whole would ahead of us." I said as we both smirked.
