Surviving Is Magic

“Come on Twilight, jump in!” shouted Pinkie Pie. Twilight Sparkle looked at Ponyville’s giant pool of water, wondering whether or not if she should jump in.

“Sorry Pinkie, but you know my mane and tail takes a very long time to dry. Plus, the chlorine makes them turn green,” said Twilight.

“Oh, sugar cube,  it’ll be alright,” comforted Applejack. Her long mane was out loose around her shoulders as she swam laps around the pool on her back. Suddenly there was a big splash in the water.

“Oh no! I’m all wet!” shouted Rarity, who was on her purple raft, covered in her jewel swim suit. A flash of rainbows came out onto the surface. It was Rainbow Dash. She looked back up at the diving board.

“Come on Fluttershy! Jump in!” she shouted.

“B…But, I…I really can’t d…do th…things l…like this…” Rainbow Dash flew out of the water and wiggled her mane and tail, getting them dry. She flew up the diving board to Fluttershy.

When she wasn’t looking, Rainbow Dash pushed Fluttershy into the water. She screamed as her pink and yellow body dived into the water. Fluttershy quickly struggled in the water. She didn’t come up for a while.

“Oh no! I think Fluttershy’s drowning!” shouted Rarity. Pinkie Pie dove underwater and pulled Fluttershy up with her teeth. Everyone gathered around while Fluttershy was chocking up water. The first thing she saw was Pinkie’s face.

“Pinkie… You saved my life!” Fluttershy said. She hugged her friend.

“I’m so glad you’re save Fluttershy. I promise I’ll never to that again. Said Rainbow Dash. The whole gang looked at Twilight.

“Now will you come in?” asked Applejack. Twilight looked over at her dragon friend, Spike.

“Go, Twilight. You can just wash yourself afterwards,” he said.

“Well… Alright…” said Twilight. She did summersaults as she dove form the diving bored. Spike was right after her. Twilight did a huge splash in the water, and her friends cheered. Suddenly, there was a bright light, a letter fell into Spike’s lap.

“Twilight! A new letter from the princess is here!” said Spike. The Mane 6 came over. Spike cleared his throat and said,

“Dear My Faithful Student,

Here I have seven tickets to go on the S.S. Mane, the most finest boat in Equstria. I will also be attending my royal duties on the ship, and I hope to see you and your friends, oh and Spike too! The boat leaves in two weeks, make sure to pack your bags, and be ready to leave at 9:00. I hope to see you there!

“A cruise? Maybe I can finally show my designs to the princess!” said Rarity.

“Maybe an awesome flying show will be there, I will sign up and win 1st place!” said Rainbow Dash.

“I’ll just stick with the animals on the ship, I love them!” said Fltutershy.

“Now I can finally sell some of those apples Granny Smith and I have made, and we can replace that old barn of ours!” said Applejack.

“A cruise is all about the fun! Just let good ole’ Pinkie Pie plan all of the parties!” said Pinkie Pie.

“Spike, take a note!”

“Dear Princess Celestia,

Thank you for inviting us to the cruise. I can’t wait to see you again! (And I’ll try to drag Spike along if I can.) I’ll see you with all of my friends in two weeks on the S.S. Mane!
