Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie were at one of their biggest parties yet. They were celebrating the 10th birthday of Dancing Star, the adopted daughter of Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Melody. It was time for Dancing Star's birthday song to be performed. With every word Pinkie sang, the filly's eyes widened with excitement as she flapped her wings without leaving the ground. A big smile spread across her face.

"Make a wish it's your birthday, make a wish it's your birthday party! Make a wish it's your birthday! Make a wish it's your birthday party!" Pinkie sang.

"Alright fillies and gentlecolts," Cheese said with a really excited face on. "We are here for one reason only,"

"To celebrate the birthday of Dancing Star!" Cheese and Pinkie both said excitedly in unison, with giant smile from ear to ear on their faces.

"Now it's time to open presents!" Pinkie piped excitedly.

Dancing ran over to her pile of presents, stacked higher than she could fly. In her defence she wasn't the best flier.

"Here you go honey." Vinyl said levitating a large present over to her daughter. "From me and mommy."

As Dancing Star unwrapped her gifts, Vinyl and Octavia smiled to see their little girl grow up.

"Tap Shoes! These are just what I wanted! How did you know?" Dancing said as she hugged both her moms.

"We just knew sweetie." Octavia said while still hugging her daughter.

Dancing went back to unwrapping her gifts when Cheese Sandwich pulled Pinkie aside.

"Pinkie." Cheese said with a tone of worry and sadness in his voice.

"Yes Cheese?" Pinkie asked wondering what was going on with a confused tone in her voice.

"We need the party cannon!" Cheese said excitedly, as if he threw his gloomy self away.

"Which one?" Pinkie asked excitedly, as they owned many party cannons.

"The cheese supreme cannon ball surprise!" Cheese yelled out excitedly as the cannon seemed to have mysteriously appeared.

Pinkie Pie ran up to the stage with an ear-to-ear grin on her face.

"Alright ponies! We've got a surprise for our birthday girl Dancing Star, Dancing, why don't ya come on up?" Pinkie said excitedly.

Dancing Star flew up to the stage excitedly at what might come next. Pinkie Pie waved a hoof in the air and Cheese waved one back. He set off the party cannon, then KA-BOOM!

. Everypony stomped their hooves in the ground every time the cheese supreme cannon ball surprise went off. Tons of ponies went on roller-coasters and there were 12 ponies in the fruit punch lake. Dancing Star was dancing with her bat pony friend, Annie, when ponies started coming to say goodbye.

"Bye Dancing Star! See you tomorrow at school!" yelled a blue earth pony with blue, green and pink named Petal.

"Bye Petal!" Dancing yelled back to her friend.

"So Dancing, what was the best present you got?" Annie asked.

"The tap shoes! I'm so happy my parents got it!" Dancing said excitedly.

The music stopped playing and almost everypony was gone. Cheese and Pinkie were packing up all there party supplies when the pegasus filly ran up to them.

"Where is everypony? Where did everypony go?" Dancing asked Pinkie Pie, who was putting away the stereo.

"They all left silly filly, the party's over!" Pinkie said while loading the stereo into her supply truck

"But..but.." Dancing said with a sad tone.

Dancing slowly walked with her head down, only for it to be pulled up by Pinkie and Cheese.

"Hey there filly! You had an awesome party! So don't be down now! There is next year, and tomorrow you will see all your friends tomorrow!" Cheese said with an excited tone to try and cheer the filly up.

"Hey, Dancing, I gotta go, my mom's here." Annie shouted out to her friend.

"Ok Annie, I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Bye!"

As Octavia and Vinyl came to pick their daughter up, they paid the bits to Pinkie and Cheese.

"Keep the change," Vinyl said happily with a smile on her face. "We haven't seen her this happy since the day she met Annie."

"Have a nice day Vinyl! You too Octavia! Call us next year when she needs a party!" Pinkie piped excitedly throwing the bits to her coltfriend, who threw them into a bin in the truck.

Pinkie and Cheese walked into the truck, and the other 2 ponies started pulling. They knew it was going to be an hour ride, so they decided to talk about the party and what they enjoyed the most about it.

"So what did you like Cheese?" Pinkie said excitedly with a huge smile on her face.

"You singing! You were awesome!" Cheese said as he started repeating the dance moves Pinkie was doing.

"Yea, me singing was pretty awesome! My favourite part was seeing the fillies and colts so happy!" Pinkie said very bouncily as she started bouncing up and down.

"That part too!" Cheese said forgetful.

"You guys can get off now, this is the stop." Said one of the ponies.

"And make sure to pay us!" Yelled the other with a tired look on his face.

Pinkie tossed the bits and Cheese tossed all the supplies into the party supply garage. The ponies pulling the truck ran away at top speed leaving the truck behind. Pinkie shrugged as her and Cheese pushed it into the supply garage. The beautiful night shone brightly. Cheese planted a kiss on his mare's forehead. Pinkie blushed as she kissed her colt on the lips. It was a long day, coming to a nice end.

Ok there isn't much CheesePie here yet, but there will be in the next chapter. I made this earlier than expected after abandoning my other story a love tale wedding. I hope the same doesn't happen here. I took some constructive criticism from some users about spacing and dialogue tags and expression, so here. I hope it's good !
