The sun shone into the bedroom of Pinkie and Cheese. Both ponies shot up and jumped downstairs.

"Cheese! Cheese! Do you feel that coming?" Pinkie said as if she knew something was going to happen.

As if on cue, Cheese started shaking all over, his cutie mark started playing like an accordion, and he jumped up, hitting the ceiling.

"Now I do." Cheese said rubbing his head in pain.

Pinkie Pie hopped downstairs and got her extra confetti. She put it in her party cannon when a question found a way into her head.

"Cheesey! Where is the party?!" Pinkie yelled out to him through a megaphone, startling everyone in Ponyville.

"Town Hall!" Cheese yelled back through a megaphone, alarming all the ponies in Ponyville again.

Mayor Silver Spoon stomped her hoof.

"Those ponies need to quiet it down!" Silver said with an angry tone while marching into Town Hall.

Pinkie hopped out of her door and into the streets of Ponyville. Cheese Sandwich was the next to get out the door of The Party Zone. This was where they sold party supplies and had ponies come to book party dates.

When the 2 ponies were hopping amongst the street of Ponyville, they were met with angry glares everywhere they went. As usual, they shrugged it off and kept hopping towards Town Hall.

"Finally you guys are here!" said Mayor Silver Spoon with a relieved look on her face and a relieved tone.

"Sorry, we had some troubles with supplies." Pinkie said jumping all over the Town Hall.

Pinkie and Cheese got their party supplies for the summer sun celebration. It was being held in Ponyville this year.

"Mayor? Where do you want the confetti?" Pinkie asked pulling out her party cannon with a huge smile on her face.

Mayor Silver Spoon pointed her hoof towards the stage curtains.

"Okie dokie!" Pinkie said firing confetti onto the curtains.

"Mayor Silver Spoon," Cheese said as he approached Silver Spoon. "Where do you want the snacks?"

Silver Spoon pointed her hoof towards a table covered with a cloth.

"Okie doke!" Cheese said as he balanced a bunch of snacks and sweets on his back.

Silver Spoon backed up to the door of Town Hall and examined the place. Not too much confetti, not too much snacks, not too much ribbon. Perfect. She stomped her hoof to get everypony's attention.

"Alright everypony, this is good. See you all at tonight's summer sun celebration!"

Cheers rang throughout the Town Hall and Ponyville. Little fillies jumped up with joy, with huge smiles on their faces. Pegasi ponies, big or small, flew all over the place with joy. The earth ponies stomped their hooves loudly and the unicorns danced with glee. They all stopped this when Mayor Silver Spoon stomped her hooves.

"Everypony settle down, the festivities won't happen until later today. I recommend that everypony go home, and celebrate a separate party, that is of course, until Princess Celestia comes here with Luna and Twilight to raise the sun and lower the moon." The mayor spoke in a proud, loud, and clear voice so that everypony could hear her.

As soon as the mayor stopped speaking, all the ponies either walked to their houses or to Sugar Cube Corner for some treats for their parties. It was one of the cheerful times of year, where everypony was happy, and where the Cakes made a lot of money. Pinkie and Cheese rushed home, for sometimes ponies came to The Party Zone for party supplies.

"Hey Cheese, we should throw a party for the summer sun celebration, you know, instead of giving away party supplies. Pumpkin and Pound know me well, so I can squeeze in some desserts!" Pinkie said bouncing up and down.

"You sure Pink? It's almost sundown." Cheese replied to Pinkie.

They arrived at The Party Zone. When they walked inside and were setting up for the party, many ponies burst through the door.

"Hello? Pinkie Pie? Cheese Sandwich? Is anypony here?" said a beige coated earth pony with dark blue and pink hair.

"Yes we are!" Pinkie said bouncing out of the storage room.

"Oh hi. Are you guys throwing a summer sun party? Cause Lyra's train is delayed and I've not nopony to celebrate with." The pony replied.

"No problem Sweetie Drops, of course you can celebrate with us!" Piped Cheese as he started decorating the party room.

"Great! Can I bring a few more ponies?" Sweetie replied.

"The more the merrier!" Pinkie and Cheese piped in unison.

Sweetie Drops rushed out the door and returned a minute later with Berry Punch and her unicorn daughter Berry Pinch. She had just turned 27 a couple weeks ago.

"Hi there Cheese and Pinkie!" Berry Punch said as she rapidly waived her hoof at the door.

"Hey Berry!" Both earth ponies piped in unison.

Word quickly got around town that Pinkie and Cheese were throwing a party at The Party Zone. Even though sunrise was in 35 minutes, everypony dropped what they were doing and galloped towards The Party Zone at their fastest pace possible. Everypony knew that at a Pinkie and Cheese party, it was sure to not be lame, and they played a bunch of fun party games and ate amazing treats.

Pinkie's ears shot up when she heard the noise of hooves padding on the ground. She bounced around with a huge smile on her face.

"Pinkie? Do you hear that?" Cheese said, hearing the many padding hooves.

"I sure do! Hooves! More hooves means more friends! And.." Pinkie began saying, waiting for Cheese to finish the sentence.

"..More friends means more party members!" Cheese said as he jumped up, copying Pinkie.

After fatigue reached the 2 ponies very quickly, they stopped bouncing and went back to games. As they did so, many ponies burst through the door, knocked them over, and started dancing on the dance floor.

The Party Zone was decorated with streamers, balloons, confetti, ribbons, a pin the tail on the pony game, hand drawn pictures of the sun rising and the moon lowering. There were tables filled with food like cake, cupcakes, cookies and punch, which Berry Punch seemed to love.

Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich saw that everypony had a smile on her face, which brought a smile to her face. Vinyl Scratch cranked the music louder as everypony danced. They still kept dancing when Mayor Silver Spoon announced that it was midnight and that the princesses had arrived. The only pony who caught it was Pinkie Pie.

"C'mon everypony! Time to see the sun rise!" Pinkie Pie yelled over the music and the many ponies dancing and cheering.

Everypony rushed out the door and into Town Hall. When they all arrived there, it was packed by many ponies from Cloudsdale, Trottingham, Manehattan, Baltimare, Canterlot, and all of Equestria. The three of four princesses stood there. Luna began by lowering the moon, than Celestia rose the sun. When the sun and moon were at the same height, Twilight flew past it and used her magic to make a sonic sparkle boom. Princess Luna landed, followed by Celestia, who was then followed by Twilight. Ponies cheers rang throughout the halls as ponies stomped their hooves.

"That was so cool!" Piped a few fillies and colts in the front row.

"Epic!" shouted 2 pegasus colts in the crowd.

"Hey Pinkie Pie?" Cheese said turning to his marefriend.

"Yes Cheese?" Pinkie replied with a worried tone.

She lost her train of thought when Cheese brought his lips to hers. Her eyes stood open in shock, then she slowly closed them. The kiss only lasted for a few seconds.

A few magical seconds..

When Pinkie and Cheese pulled their lips away, Cheese spoke to her.

"Happy summer." He said putting a hoof on his marefriend's back, only for her to blush and nuzzle up to him.
