The warehouse

It was a Saturday in Ponyville. The fillies and colts were still ecstatic from the summer sun celebration that happened yesterday, for most of them it was the first time they saw the Princesses, except for Twilight who lived in Ponyville with them. This inspired many fillies and colts to throw their own parties, and naturally, they went to Ponyville's largest, and possibly only, party supply story, The Fun Zone.

"Excuse me Miss Pie, where are the alicorn princesses costumes?" piped a little earth pony filly.

"Right over there Daffodil." Pinkie replied pointing the filly to the princess costumes.

Daffodil, Dancing Star and Annie ran over to the costumes. Daffodil bought the Twilight costume, Dancing bought the Celestia costume and Annie bought the Luna costume, as she looked the most like Luna.

"Wow girls! That looks amazing!" Octavia told her daughter, her best friend, and her new friend.

"Thanks Mommy Octavia!" Dancing Star told her mom. "Where's Mommy Vinyl?"

"She's working on her new track with her cousin Neon Lights in Fillydelphia. She'll be gone for 2 days." Octavia said trying to comfort her daughter.

"But she missed the summer sun celebration." Annie told Octavia.

"Yes, that's true," Octavia replied with sadness in her voice. "But wouldn't you like to buy those costumes?" She said smiling to hide sorrow.

"Yes!" All three fillies yelled in unison forgetting what they had just talked about.

Each pony took off their costume and wigs and put them back in their packages. Octavia took them and went to the front counter where Cheese Sandwich was. He counted up how much bits it would cost.

"That would be...7..14....21 bits." Cheese said counting the bits.

"Oh, ok," Octavia said passing the bits.

Octavia and the three fillies exited the store.

"Hey Pinks!" Cheese yelled out to his marefriend. "Come here!"

Following her colt friends request, Pinkie Pie hopped across the store quickly to Cheese.

"What is it Cheesey?" Pinkie asked Cheese.

"Business is booming! We're running low on the costumes and props. I need you to run down to the warehouse and pick up some more." Cheese asked pulling out a map.

"Ok deary!" Pinkie said taking the map and colouring the route in with a crayon.

"Ok so right from the school house, past the cottages, and into the train station." Pinkie recited as she followed the directions.

Pinkie read the map. She had to go to Canterlot.

"Oh horseapples! I need a train ticket!" Pinkie said running to the ticket booth.

"Excuse me Mrs, what can I get cha?" said Steam, a conductor unicorn pony.

"A ticket to Canterlot please." Pinkie replied taking her saddlebag off her back.

"Ok, the most recent ride is leaving in 13 minutes." Steam said getting a ticket out. "That'd be..let's see...carry the 9...35 bits."

"I think I got it." Pinkie said untying her bag. "27, 32, 34.50."

"You need 50 more cents." Steam said.

"I know, but can you cut it for me just this once." Pinkie said, dilating her pupils.

"Ok fine." Steam said handing over the ticket. "Have a safe trip."

"Thanks!" Pinkie said accepting the ticket.

"Stand over there." Steam said pointing his hoof to the platform. "You know, where the other ponies waiting for their daily train are."

"Okie doke!" Pinkie said hopping towards the platform.

The tracks screeched loudly as many ponies brought their hoofs to their ears. Unfortunately, this wasn't the Canterlot train, it was the train from the crystal empire going to the crystal empire.

"Horseapples!" Pinkie yelled. "It isn't my train. It's been 12 minutes."

As if on cue, the crystal train screeched and zoomed in the direction of the crystal empire. As it left, a new train pulled into the station, this one to Canterlot.

"All aboard for Canterlot!" yelled Coal. A earth pony stallion charcoal grey with lime green hair and a cutie mark of flaming coal.

"Hey Coal!" Steam yelled waving to Coal.

"Hey brother!" Coal yelled back to Steam.

Pinkie Pie boarded the train. It wasn't until she sat down that she noticed her older sister.

"Maud! Your back from your trip!" Pinkie yelled up galloping to her sister.

"Hi Pinkie Pie. Actually, you see, I'm going to Manehattan to continue my research." Maud said blandly, like she always does. "Why are you on this train?"

"I need to get supplies from a warehouse in Canterlot because business is booming! See." Pinkie said as she put a hoof on the map marking where the warehouse was. "You sure do have a long route to go."

"I have a sleeping cabin." Maud said.

"Oh." Pinkie said as she took off her saddle bag.

Pinkie Pie took a seat beside Maud as the train started moving.

"Bye Coal!" Steam yelled from the ticket booth.

"Bye!" Coal yelled back to his brother.

The train pulled into the station as ponies started getting their luggage. Pinkie hopped off the train with her saddlebag tied around her waste.

"Bye Mauuuuud!" Pinkie yelled as she exited the train.

"Bye." Maud said in her same old monotone voice.

Pinkie, along with many ponies, walked into the streets of Canterlot. Ponies darted different ways, but Pinkie kept going straight. She was met by a large purple and pink building.

"The warehouse!" Pinkie said with excitement as she ran in.

"Hi Pinkie Pie!" yelled a blue mare with pink hair.

"Hi Cup Cake! Hi Carrot Cake!"

"Hi!" replied the orange stallion.

"What can I get cha?" Mrs.Cake said as she stopped her work.

"I need the princess costumes and some props." Pinkie said handing over a shipping receipt that so randomly appeared.

"You got it Pinks." Mr.Cake said bringing out many many boxes of supplies.

"Great! Here's the receipt." Pinkie said getting the many boxes and handing Carrot Cake the receipt.

Carrot Cake signed the receipt and returned a copy to Pinkie. Cup Cake stacked the boxes into a delivery cart. Pinkie walked out the shop door while leaving behind a few bits for Mr and Mrs.Cake.

"Great seeing you Pinkie!" Cup Cake yelled out as Pinkie boarded the delivery cart attached to the train back.

"Bye Mr and Mrs.Cake!" Pinkie yelled out as the train moved.

5 minutes later...

Suddenly, the train came to a halt, and Pinkie couldn't get out of her delivery cabin.

"Horseapples!" Pinkie said as she stomped on the floor angrily as her face turned red. "I need to get back somehow."

The shop just closed when Cheese started tingling and his cutie mark played like an accordion. This cheesey sense was not for a party, but for Pinkie Pie.

"She needs my help." Cheese said darting towards Canterlot.
