A Vacation for the Emperor

        Well, what can I say. I felt horrible. The place I woke up in was… uncomfortable, to say the least. I was some how laying on a rock, and didn’t break my back, yet it still hurt. I should at least should have slid off or something with the angle, yet I was there, with a good back.

As soon as I tried to open my eyes and move though, I slid off the side. It was painful falling onto the ground, but it was nowhere near the pain from the past… Well, anyways, once I got back up, I looked around, and I was near a clearing, in a forest. I recognized it from somewhere, and I was shocked to say the least. “It worked, my plan worked…”

        Yes, it came back to me now, and I immediately ran towards the clearing. I then saw that it was really the end of the woods.

Once I was out of there, I immediately looked around for the local town called ‘Ponyville’. I tried to remember back from the show where it was, then I remembered the Season 4 finale. I remembered that in the season finale that Twilight got a castle with the crystal castle seed thing from the tree of harmony, or something like that. I wasn’t able to watch the full episode. I then decided to look for that crystal tree castle thing. I couldn't see it, so I started walking towards a hill.

Quite a tall hill, may I add, and as soon as I climbed it, I had a great view of the town. The castle was to my right, it was taller than the hill indeed, but only by a few meters. As I descended the hill, I had to trip on a small stone, possibly part of a buried boulder. I really hate rocks at this point.

Anyways, the trip down the hill took a surprisingly long time, but i’m not really sure what I expected. When I finally stopped rolling down the hill, I had had a mouth full of dirt and grass. It tasted as bad as it would seem. After spitting out all of that, and trying to get that terrible taste out, I got up and looked around.

The first thing I noticed was that nobody was on the streets that I could see. I then wondered what time it could be, and of course looked at my watch. And of course it wasn't on my wrist, but in my left pocket. So I decided to do it the old fashioned way, and looked for the position of sun. It would be night soon, and it did some quick calculations in my head, and estimated it to be nightfall in about 1 and a half hours.

I went the screen it on my right arm to set up the necessary solar panels on the opposite side of the sun sun to collect energy. It would be needed to stay connected to Earth, in the other dimension. Keeping an interdimensional link open requires power from both sides, and only about half of a star would be just enough to have an extremely small extra amount left over.

Anyways, after I got the confirmation that it was going to be properly set up, I reactivated its disguise mode, and made sure no one saw what I had on my arm. Lucky me that that no one saw it, and just put my watch back on. My curiosity got the better of me, and I walked around town, looking for the inhabitants.

After walking for a bit, I thought it heard a party going on, and I used my imagination to think of why pinkie pie would be having having a party today. Possibly for for the celebration of the new castle, defeating Tirek, and saving Equestria. Probably named, 'Thanks for Saving Equestria and Getting a Castle', and of course being for Twilight Sparkle. I then thought about going to the party, but decided not to. They were probably still a bit on edge, and wouldn't take too kindly to a new monster suddenly appearing. So I decided to see if there were any empty houses or sheds that I could stay in until the right time. Also known as tomorrow morning. Possibly.

I continued to wander around a bit, and eventually came upon a street that led directly to where the party was taking place. I immediately took cover behind the house that I just past. The party was taking place only about 10 meters away. While wandering around, I guess I tuned it all out.

            I turned my head around the corner of the house to see if any of them had seen me, and to my luck, the all famous Lyra saw me. I slowly turned my head back around the corner to think of my options.

One, I could run. Two, I could use my teleporter. And lastly, three, stay right here and wait for her to come to me. Well, three was immediately out, and I checked to see if I had enough energy to do a short distance teleport, and sadly, I didn’t. So there was only one option left.

I quickly glanced over my shoulder to see if she really did see me, and indeed, she had definitely saw me. Infact, Lyra was currently running towards my location. So I simply ran as if there was no tomorrow. Which was half true if I get caught.

        No matter how fast I ran, Lyra some how kept up with me. So what else could I do other than run some more. Eventually, she got tired, and started to slow down. So when I looked back, and saw that I had finally out ran her, I started to slowed down. Big mistake. She then teleported in from of me. I nearly tripped over her and took a few steps back, a bit in shock.

Then I guess she wanted to start some sort of a conversation with me. I’m not really sure how it would go, though. I think it would be fairly one-sided.

“Are you… are you a human?” Well, she asked a question, so of course I had to answer. Luckily for me, I heard a beep from my right arm, and that meant I could finally teleport away. But I still answered.

        “Yes, and my name is Jason, and all will be revealed in time.”

I then pressed the red glowing button on the touchscreen that was on my arm, and quickly teleported away. Teleporting using the device on my arm didn’t make a bright light for safety reasons. Mostly so others can’t locate me. And as I said before, all will be revealed in time.
