A Knock came form the outside of a larger iron door of a dark compact rusty metal room. A young messy black haired man laid on the thin cot three feet off the ground. He ignored the knocks and went back to sleep.... well tried to until the knocking became louder and a voice shouted from the other side.

"Elite General Rex Paradox, you are to gear up and head to Lab D-12 for your next mission!" shouted the voice as they continued to knock. "The Director said you cannot refuse this mission under any circumstances!"

With no other choice but to comply. Grumbling an alright, he got up and went to the locker in the corner of the room to get dressed. He put on his custom made black military cargo pants, combat boots, and v-neck t-shirt with combat vest. He then went the sink on the other side of the room to finish prep-work. he washed his face and looked at himself in the mirror. There's not much say about him, he's 20 years old, 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, and well toned body. His eye were special with a ring around his pupil which were purple. Done with his look he grabbed his dog-tags and head out the room.

After exiting he was greeted by a young female officer. "Sir, I'm sorry for waking you but I was told to escort you to Lab D-12 for a very important mission give down by the Director herself," she said.

"Lead the way then," he replied.

"Thank you, Sir." after a quick salute she started walking to the lab and the general fallow behind.

20 minutes of silent walking later. They made it to Lab D-12. Once there, the female officer left and the man was meet with another woman with a lab coat. " Greetings Elite General Rex Paradox, welcome to Lab D-12 of Research and Development, I'm the lead researcher who will be giving your mission," she said with to much glee in her voice. Rex nod to show he understood. "good, now let's get started. As you know General humanity has evolved to the point that people are killing each other for territory," at this point they began walking."Now in order to solve this problem the government has funded this program find a solution," they stopped walking after entering a room fill with computers and tech people. there was also a giant javelin gun, three custom made javelin shaped pods, and a giant computer screen that seems different. at that moment the woman turn around with open arms and said. "This is that solution! You see General we have discovered how to manipulate wormholes in order to travel across the universe in the blink of an eye, well there's still some limitations like we can't go some where you can't breath or a place we haven't discovered yet. Now your mission is very important. We will be sending you to a new world in M.T.J. (Military Transport Javelin) in javelin pod code name 'Santa Maria' though that portal right there," she points to the giant computer screen." unfortunately we can't fit everything in one pod, so we put your battle equipment in javelin pod 'Pinta' and your tech in javelin pod 'Niña'. we did put somethings in your pod that will help you in the mean time. Do you have any questions?"

"what is my mission," ask the general.

"Your mission is to locate the 'Niña' after touching down for your next order," she answered."Also there's a possibility of sentient life being on the planet. You are to avoid contact with them as much as possible. Anything else you need to know?"

"No, that is all I need right now," he verified.

"Then let's begin the launch. General please step in the 'Santa Maria' and we'll handle the rest," she then led the young general to the pod. he then laid down and strapped in. before the hatch was close the woman added." good luck General Paradox," with that said the hatch was locked and they began launch.

Just like that everything started up, people were at computers activating the wormhole and loading the javelin pods into the gun for launch. The first shot through the portal the 'Niña', then after five minutes of checking and prepping the 'Pinta' was launched, and finally after another five minutes the 'Santa Maria'. while all of this was happening the Director was watching from the observation room. A screen turns on in front of the Director and the women from before appears on it. "the launch was a success ma'am," the women said though the monitor.

"good, let me know his progress as thing go on," the Director said before turn off the monitor.

"HA HA HA HA HA LOOK HE MADE IT THROUGH HUH!" laughed a girl from behind the Director

"Are sure it was good idea to put him and his unit in charge of this project?" said man also behind the Director. "I would have happily done it if you asked."

"Was there something you needed," the Director said with out even turning around. "Elite General Kimmie Bouffon, Elite General Luis Callidus your trying my patience."

"Why are you being so hostel," said Callidus, "I'm just trying to help. Honestly you act like i have an ulterior motive or something."

"HA HA HA THAT SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT WHEN IT COME TO YOU!" laughed Bouffon earning a sneer from Callidus.

"Still all joking side are you sure he of all people was the best choice for such an important mission," Callidus said trying to get back on topic.

"we'll soon find won't we," responded the Director as she left the room. "Only time Will decide."

Deep with in Canterlot Castle Princess Celestia woke up with a fright. After a moment of steadying her breathing she got up out of her bed, put on appropriate clothing, and headed to the throne room. She was in a hurry so she didn't greet the night guards as she passed them. When she reached the throne room she was greeted by a worried look from Princess Luna.

"Sister, what is the matter, you're never up this early?" the princess of the night ask.

"I'm sorry for worrying you at this time, but I feel that something is going to happen that will change Equestria forever," Celestia said while looking at the night sky from the throne room balcony.

"We promise you sister, Equestria will be safe," Luna said joining the sun princess

"I hope you're right," Celestia sighed still looking up at the sky." by the way three shooting stars side by side is a very interesting choice.

"Sister, I didn't schedule any shooting stars tonight," said Luna as both princesses looked on with confusion and worry.
