Power Ponies: The Secret of Saddle Rager

The laboratory in Maretropolis was much different than the usual ones, this one was usually developing things to help those who would defend the city. but for most of this month they had been working on something that would help the most well known defenders of the city, The Power Ponies. An enemy of theirs, a multiversal demon by the name of Kul'as, had occasionally escaped in the crimes he committed and the Lab knew something had to be done before Kul'as' crime had gotten out of hoof. They had developed a serum that would enhance the Power Ponies powers to help them Hopefully get ahead of Kul'as and turn his crime wave around. A scientist had contacted the Power Ponies and they were now on their way to collect the serum. The Scientist was at a desk looking at the serums structure when a wall bursted and walking through was the black Helmeted demon Kul'as himself who than looked at the scientist grinning. he walked to the scientist and pushed him out of the way, grabbing the serum than looked at him.

"so how does this work, do i drink it? inject it? suppository?"

"I'd rather die than tell you how to put it in properly."

"eh i'll just take a shot in the dark." Kul'as tossed the serum into the air and it fell in his mouth where he than swallowed it. "ugh tastes like cough medicine, and you can count on the i'd rather die after i waaaaaaaaaaaake uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup." Kul'as than fell to the floor unconscious and than a black ooze he secreted covered his whole body, until his cocoon appeared like a black pearl. the scientist than turned to the opening as The Power Ponies came in. Masked Matterhorn walked to the scientist. "Note Taker what happened?"

"Kul'as came bursting in through the wall and took some of the serum. Next thing we know he's a giant black cocoon."

"Doesn't matter if he has it is there still some left for us?"

"yes just enough for all of you."

Masked Matterhorn grabbed the vial and gave one each to the other members, all of which who then put it in a syringe and injected into themselves except for Filli-Second who drank the whole thing. The girls felt woozy but managed to correct themselves feeling much healthier. Their thoughts were interrupted as the Cocoon floated into the air and spun around. Cracks appeared all over it than it suddenly exploded with dark energy and something stood where it laid. It was a demon than could at least come up to Saddle Rager's head when angered, and had spikes all over it's body. It had four arms and it's chest glowed purple and it had a colossal tail that swung a little. what scared them was the two Purple sadistic eyes that came with a matching smile that spoke only one word.

"Smokin"

Kul’as looked at the Power Ponies than looked at his lower right hand, which developed a small ball of energy in his claw.

“Pretty upgrades.” He threw the ball at the Power Ponies but they dodged and the orb blew up behind them, creating an even bigger hole than there was before. Masked Matterhorn felt like she had a new arsenal added to her list of beams, she was proven right as she shot a beam at Kul’as hitting him square in his chest but not leaving a mark. Kul’as looked at her grinning.

“Nice Plasma, here’s mine.” Kul’as raised his head and as he drew in a colossal breath causing a few papers to fly towards him as his mouth began to glow purple as energy condensed in his mouth. He swung his head forward facing Masked Matterhorn, sending a colossal beam of Pure Purple energy spiraling towards her. In a split second Matterhorn disappeared, but not via teleportation and the beam hit the wall behind where she was, melting it like ice and the rest of the beam going through it at some point and blowing up a parked car behind it. Kul’as scratched his head in confusion than looked to his right shoulder as Filly-Second was on it. “Hi.”

Kul’as slammed his upper left hand on his right shoulder, but was surprised, as when he lifted it up there was no gory mess that was Filly-Second on his shoulder, or on his hand when he checked. He than looked down and found Filly-Second at his feet. “You’ve gotten slow at this haven’t you?” Kul’as tried to stomp on her but she disappeared as Kul’as realized she’s gotten faster. Kul’as cleared his insane mind and looked around seeing everything slow down and Filly-Second running at super speed through the lab. He ran for her, managing to catch up with her but than was interrupted by a lightning bolt struck him in the side sending him into a wall. He looked up seeing Zapp looking at him smug. She held her pendent in the air than lightning came down and wrapped around her front hooves. “I’m loving this.”
She dove for Kul’as punching him several times, and electric shock going through his body each time. He managed to grab her right hoof as she swung of a right hook, and was a about to deliver a punch when a pink chain pulled it back, causing him to lose his grip on Zapp’s hoof and her to fly away as another chain pulled back his other arm. He looked expecting to see Radiance but saw a hardlight construct of her creating the chains and Radiance on her side, visible sweat on her face showing making a construct of herself was very tasking. Kul’as grabbed the chains and swung them together knocking out Radiance and destroying her duplicate. Kul’as felt a lasso around his neck and managed to turn around seeing the Lasso of Mistress Marevelous even longer than usual pulling him back. It turned into a tug of war as he pulled back, Marevelous pulled back harder in response. Kul’as let himself slip, causing Marevelous to stumble in surprise than was propelled forward by Kul’as and than socked in the face sending her stumbling to the floor.
Kul’as turned and saw Saddle Rager in the middle of the room, seething looking like she was about to go off like a set of Fireworks. Kul’as grinned, as this was the part where he saw if he got his money’s worth from the serum. He stuck his face in front of her expecting a super punch from her but nothing came, so he went with plan B: Astral Plane style. His Astral form left his body and flew around the room, hitting all of the Power Ponies minus Saddle Rager as he flew around than flew straight for Saddle Rager, only to have a clawed fist to impact his face sending him spiraling back into his body which than flew back a wall behind him. He shook his head to regain his senses, than saw he spat out a tooth and grinned, as now he would enjoy killing Saddle Rager.
He rose but was impacted by a golden beam, this one leaving a mark in his chest. Kul’as looked up and scowled, the Sun Knight flying down followed by those annoying tin cans, the Mighty Machines. Kul’as shot a plasma ball at Rodan blasting him to Ashes, a surprise since Rodan would usually just have a burnt mark on his chest, but the ashes than swirled together reforming into Rodan who than shot a fireball at him. Masque dropped down in front of Kul’as and a green flame rose around him, the flame dispersed and in it’s place Kul’as was looking at himself who than condensed a ball of plasma in his fist and punched Kul’as sending back a few feet. Timberwolf jumped onto his back followed by a couple clones that began to hit him Kul’as looked to the original.

“How’d you think they made sure the serum worked?”

Kul’as charged his body releasing a large burst of plasma, destroying the Timberwolf Clones and sending the original flying into a trash compactor. Kul’as Punched Masque, knocking him out and smacked away a few blobs Shadow Blot shot at him but one was large enough to survive the hit and landed on the ground, then attempted to use a vacuum to suck up Kul’as but was than simply squished under his foot, causing a green liquid to come out and burn Kul’as’ foot, who than held his foot hoping.
“Ow! Ow! Ow! Why did I do that! Bad idea! Bad idea!” Dusk came up through Kul’as shadow and tackled him, sending Kul’as down on his belly but Kul’as than used his tail to grab Dusk and slam him on the ground than threw him to Timberwolf who tried to crawl out of the Trash Compactor but was hit back in by the falling Dusk.
Kul’as turned and saw several machines combining and the rising outcome was Devastator who looked the Demon dead in the eye. Devastator began to beat up Kul’as but was careful enough that he didn’t smash any of the lab equipment.
‘Great’ Kul’as thought. ‘He’s in control so he’s holding back. But that doesn’t mean I have to.’
Kul’as formed plasma balls in all four of his claws than clenched his fists and proceeded to hit Devastator with all four of his fists. Kul’as raised his upper right fist but the Sun Knight held it in her telekinetic grip and twisted it around to face his face and released the plasma ball, making a scar that went over the right side of his face but did not blind his eye. Kul’as smacked away Devastator and grabbed Sun Knight with his hand that was fixing itself. “You think that did anything? You only make me look cooler with each scar you give me. Now enjoy Oblivion.” Kul’as rose in the Astral Plane, almost blinded by the light given off by Sun Knight there but came into focus and raised his claw but a beam struck him in the back and sent him back into his body than a clawed fist like before hit him square in the face, shattering his jaw. Kul’as saw there might be no victory here so retreating would be the best idea.
Kul’as brought his claws together making a concentrated Plasma Ball and shot it at a wall, but it didn’t explode, instead it made a large oval shaped portal in the wall. Kul’as ran through it than on the other side he unclenched his fists and the portal collapsed on itself.

Timberwolf walked through the hole in the wall Kul’as first made and looked around, seeing Sun Knight disappeared leaving just both teams. “Where did big tall and purple go?” Zapp responded to his question.

“Through the portal he somehow made.”

“Totally fair he can make portal’s now.” Terry than looked to the other Power Ponies. “How are you girls liking your upgrades?”

“Mines are naturally awesome, like me. I’m gonna have so much fun knocking out a few guys with electro fists.” Filly-Second concurred with how Zapp felt with her new powers.

“Feels awesome to go even faster now. All though it’s kinda tougher to see what’s in front of me so I don’t go splat on a wall. I’m gonna use my usual speed.” Radiance sympathized with Filly-Second.

“Same here. Sure it’s interesting to be able to make constructs of other ponies but it takes a whole lot out of you. I think I’ll keep that for drastic measures. Oh and by the way…” Radiance than fainted from exhaustion, Her couch catching her just in time.

Timberwolf than looked to Saddle Rager. “What about you Saddles?” Saddle Rager tried to ignore Timberwolf and walked away.

“I don’t wanna talk about it.”

“You sure? Cause I’m willing to listen if you have a-”

“I said I don’t wanna talk about it!” Saddle Rager lashed out at Timberwolf than flew off to the Power Ponies HQ fuming. Timberwolf than looked to the others, who were just as surprised at the outburst as he was.

“We should go talk to her, cause with the mood she’s in I don’t wanna see what she can do now thanks to the upgrades.”
