Power Ponies: The Secret of Saddle Rager

Saddle Rager made it to the HQ than walked to her room angry. The other Power Ponies and the Might Machines came in, Matterhorn in front of the rest. “Fluttershy are you okay? We’re you friends you can trust us on anything. We’ll even Pinkie Promise.”

“I sad I don’t wanna talk about it Twilight.” Timberwolf stepped in front of Twilight.

“Is this because you couldn’t get mad and deliver a beat down to Kul’as?”

“That’s only part of the reason. That serum brought up some bad memories and I felt powerless in each of those.”

“That is the past, this is the present, and Frank Welker is the greatest voice actor who has ever lived.”

“What does that have to do with anything?”

“I just felt like getting that out there. The point is if you open us up to your past a little, you might not feel so built up inside. You said you had files on the project that gave you your powers, maybe you share those with us and we can-” Fluttershy flew up coming eye to eye with Timberwolf causing him to back up.

“What’s in those files is my business and mine alone. You try and read those files and I catch you, you better wish I won’t change than, cause if I do, you’re gonna be more sorry than you’ve ever been in you’re whole life.” Fluttershy turned around and began to walk away but Timberwolf spoke again.

“I thought we were friends Shy. Friends tell each other secrets, and if you don’t, I could ask one of your old coworkers and they’ll probably tell-” Fluttershy grabbed Timberwolf by the neck and lifted him off the ground a little. She than looked him directly in the eye, hers glowing a tinge of red.

“I’m in a bad mood. Understand?”

Timberwolf made a guttery “Uh-huh” through the choke and Fluttershy let him go, than stomped her way to her room and slammed the door. Zapp flew to Terry and helped him up. “You’re still gonna get those files aren’t you?”

“You know me so well Dash.”

D’ohvastator was the byproduct of the aftermath of the fight between Saddle Rager and Devastator. He sort of represented the sloth of Devastator, his gluttony, and Timberwolf said he sounded like Dan Castellaneta. He paced around the main room in the Power Ponies HQ than looked to the ceiling thinking about his origin. “Faust? If you are Faust, you’ll let me know where I come from.” He heard a knock on the door and saw Dash and Timberwolf with a bunch of spy-gear on, Timberwolf smiling seeing the machine. “Hey Stator, wanna help us find out Saddle Rager’s origin? We might even find out your-” D’ohvastator slammed the door angry and looked back to the ceiling. “Why do you mock me oh Lady?” Twilight walked through looking at the ceiling.
“D’ohvastator that’s not Faust, that’s a waffle Spike got up there that incident he made some pancakes.” Twilight used her magic to pry it from the ceiling and D’ohvastator caught it in his claws while Twilight walked away. D’ohvastator looked at it as if he was about to do something he would feel guilty about. “I know I shouldn’t eat thee but…” D’ohvastator ate half of the Waffle. “Mmm…Sacrilicious.”

Timberwolf took his face away from the wall and walked back to Dash. “Looks like it’s just us, that glutton is busy eating a waffle he thinks is Faust.” Timberwolf took out four spy suction cups and put them on all four of his limbs. He jumped to the ceiling and walked across while Dash put on her stuff and flew to the ceiling than did the same. They both stopped above the door to Fluttershy’s room. Dash looked to Timberwolf. “So what’s the plan?”

“We wait here and sometime tonight, Fluttershy will walk out with the files and put them in my fridge I have here for emergency’s.”

“How do ya know she’ll do that?”

“You girls always put your secret stuff in there. One time I found a Love letter Spike had for Rarity in there and almost ate it thinking it was a slice of white cheese.”

“So we wait here all night.”

“More or less stay up the whole night.”

Dash was bored out of her mind while Timberwolf was passed out but still on the ceiling. She saw the door open and Fluttershy walked out, file in her mouth, looking around as if there was someone watching her. She walked down the hallway and Dash poked Timberwolf.

“Terry wake up, you were right.”

Terry woke up groggily but than came to his senses grinning. “Told ya.”

Both of them followed Fluttershy and found her in Terry’s Fridge putting the file in-between some slices of a large stack of cheese, than walking back to her room. Terry and Dash walked on the ceiling right above the door of the fridge and was about to drop down, when someone walked into the room causing them to freeze. They looked and saw D’ohvastator to the fridge and grab the cheese. “Mmm… 64 slices of American cheese.” D’ohvastator pulled up a chair and sat down than swallowed every slice than passed out on the chair. Terry scowled. “So that’s who kept stealing my food, that cheese is imported you know. Well I got a surprise for him tomorrow.”

D’ohvastator woke up found himself dangling from the ceiling tied to a chair. Terry than stuck his face in D’ohvastator’s face and got to the point. “Cheese. Now.”

“What makes you think I took it?”

“I saw you do it with my own two optics, now cough it up and I won’t play Operation with your body.”

D’ohvastator threw up the cheese which had mild saliva on it and it landed in Terry’s claws. He counted all the slices and it came up to 65. He flipped through the slices and pulled out the file he was looking for, than cut the rope causing D’ohvastator to fall flat on his head and was stuck doing a headstand. Terry walked away and approached Dash with the files. “Told ya I’d have a surprise for him. To the Supercomputer!”

Dash and Terry looked at the papers in the file but found that the data only mentioned a gas that had energy fluctuations like it got mad. Terry shook the folder annoyed. “Give away the secrets you manila piece of folded paper.” He shook it and a flash drive fell out of it and hit the floor. Dash looked at Terry with a deadpan stare, Terry just shrugged. “Don’t know how I missed that.” Terry grabbed the Flash Drive and plugged it into the Supercomputer causing a file to appear on screen. Terry used the mouse to click it and grinned as he found Pictures of newspapers detailing first sightings of Saddle Rager when she couldn’t really control herself, his grin was because he found what he and Dash looking for. They went back in the file, the gaps between the incidents she changed drawing closer until they approached a data sheet on the gas from the papers. Something Caught Dash’s eye and she grabbed the mouse and clicked on it. It showed Fluttershy’s DNA after the incident and Dash brought up a file that had Fluttershy’s DNA after the serum angered. Terry had a revelation and brought up a file with his regular DNA and compared it to the New DNA Saddle Rager had and saw they were almost a perfect match. He was about to say something when a voice spoke behind both of them.

“Give me one reason not to get angry about this situation.”

Terry and Dash both screamed startled as they looked behind them and saw Fluttershy look at both of them angry. Terry than looked at Dash Nonchalantly. “Don’t worry Rainbow I’ve prepared for this.” He pulled a cord on his side and a parachute deployed on his back, he than looked at it and realized something. “Oh yeah we’re not in a plane.”

Dash than approached Fluttershy hoping she would be able to calm her down. “Shy if you’ll just hear us out.”

“On what!? I told you guys not to look into the files and you did! Now you see I could barely control myself, I was a…” Fluttershy broke down and started to cry a little. Dash wrapped a wing a wing around Fluttershy trying to calm her down. “It’s ok Fluttershy, we didn’t even care about any of that, we just wanted to know why you didn’t change.”

“It just left me thinking. Everyone only remembers me as the monster with the Power Ponies, without that, who am I?” Terry looked to Fluttershy.

“You could be my cousin.”

Both Fluttershy and Dash did a double take at this. “What?”

“Yeah, according to the data here, that gas had Wirewolf DNA in it, but only a portion of the strength it had but your body still needed to change to accommodate the power, hence why you would usually go Bruce Banner. The serum enhanced those parts and now when angry more Wirewolf DNA appeared almost completely over your pony DNA. But the reason we didn’t get a colossal Wirewolf is probably because your body didn’t know how to accommodate the new limbs. Claws, wings, giant prehensile tail, etcetera, you get the point. It could also be a physiological block, as we have been known to drop knowledge on the mind at the drop of a hat.” Dash and Fluttershy looked dumbfounded at how Terry deduced the reason this happened so quickly.

“What a Wirewolf can’t know Biology, and Psychology that well?”

An alarm went off and Twilight’s face appeared on screen. “Hate to end the seminar, I really do, but there’s a break-in at Python Industries and reports say Kul’as is behind it. Pony Power up and get over there. I’m doing the same here.”

Terry grinned. “Finally after a whole night of waiting for some action I finally get some!”

Dash looked to Fluttershy. “C’mon maybe you can get over that block and we can see what you can do.”

“I hope so.” Fluttershy said feeling like her usual self and walked off, hoping Dash was right and she could find out who she really was in life.
