Saving a Siren

"What the hell!", i groaned still tired and sore from last nights shift. I turned to my left side  to the view my alarm clock its 4:30 am i mumbled before the loud banging at my door interrupted my train of thought.

I wanted to just stay in bed and ignore who ever is causing that racket,but my conscience got the better of me, what if its someone in trouble or hurt?.

I quickly threw the covers off myself and after putting on my pajamas and bedroom slippers swiftly made my way downstairs to the door, who ever this is better be in trouble or their gonna be i grumbled.  i finally made it downstairs after a few steps towards the door the banging instensified, at this point i cant tell if their trying to get me and my neighbors attention or break down my door !.

regardless i dashed to my front door and  after unlocking  both locks i opened it bearing a face of great annoyance and anger meet with my unwelcomed vistor.

what do you!..wa..a..adagio i stuttered out of shock and awe  at the former siren and leader of the dazzlings.

her face was slightly bruised ,her left eye was swollen lightly purple  and her bottom lip was split and swollen as well,she quivered from the cold wearing a dark grey hoodie and dark blue jeans." I..im sorry kyle"  she stuttered.

I watched as streams of tears ran down her face mixing with the small amount of blood on her lips and slightly on her cheek, "pleases..can.i..can..i?.

I  didnt allow her to finsh as i extended my arms out to embrace in a gentle hug.

please come inside i tried my best to sound as sincere and polite as possible despite how i felt earlier,she looked behind her for a moment as if unsure if she should before proceding into the warm ,loving comformt of my home.

Aagh i groaned getting out of bed , i mentally prepaired myself to tackle the day so to speak.

After a half hour in the shower and 8 mins of brushing my teeth,i headed downstairs.

These 10 hour shifts at work are killing me i mumbled, between staying up so late and sleeping so little im surprised i have,nt gone insane yet.

I headed into the kitchen as my phone started ringing hello?"sup kyle" what do you want ethan? i stated with sheer annoyance and slight boredom.

"Well i was wondering if i.." could copy my biology homework because you did,nt do yours right?" yea if you dont mind bro hehe" sure..i guess. "Hey umm did you go to the battle of the bands last friday?"

my eyes jolted open at his question. Ugh ..yea..i did hehe i chuckled nervously,the memoires of sound waves and energy blasts plagued my mind. I was there but i dont remember much though,"weird no one really does..well anyway see you at school kyle" yeah see at school ethan.
