I'm sorry...but you have chosen Death. Something very tragic happens...and mysterious...and lucky happens...so...grab your tissues if you end up crying.

The doctor lowered his head, sighed deeply, then looked back up at me with a large frown.

"I...I'm sorry...but your wife...she didn't make it..."

No...it can't be...Fluttershy can't be...dead.

No! No! It's not true!

"Y-You can't be serious," I said to him, my voice cracking. I felt a tear fall down my face.

"I'm sorry..."

"What happened to her?"

"She had lost too much blood. One of her lungs collapsed. We did get the baby out...but she had lost too much blood. There was nothing we could do...I'm sorry."

I lowered my head in sadness. I proposed to her...I promised I would keep her safe...

"I want to see her."

The doctor nodded. "Very well. Follow me."

He walked down a hallway. I followed behind him. Eventually, we reached a room with the number 23.

When we entered...Fluttershy was in a bed...pale...cold.....dead.

"I'll give you some time alone," The doctor said behind me as he closed the door.

I turned around as the door closed. Then I slowly looked back to Fluttershy. I slowly walked to the side of the bed, and kneeled down next to it.

I put my ear up to her faintly warm chest. No heartbeat.

This wasn't a dream...this was real. The mare that had loved me so much, that was so happy and alive just nearly 2 hours ago...was laying in a hospital bed...dead...and still.

I looked at her. I started to speak after a minute of silence.

"Fluttershy...I...I know that I...I promised to keep you safe...that I promised to make sure nopony would hurt you..."

I paused for a second. Tears streamed down my face as I continued.

"I'm sorry....but I want you to know...no matter what...I love you, Fluttershy..."

I couldn't say anything else. I immediately broke down into tears. I sat there, next to my deceased wife, crying as I lost the one of the three mares that gave me happiness.

She was so young...so innocent...so fragile...

I slowly looked up to her, then gently leaned towards her...and kissed her gently on the lips...they were no longer warm as I remembered they were...they were cold...lifeless...still. I knew that this was the last kiss that I would ever share with her for a long time...until my time comes...

Once I pulled away from her, I brushed her mane for the final time, and whispered into her ear, even though I knew she was long gone.

"I'll love you forever...my sweet, beautiful angel..."

"Mr. Ice?" I heard a voice at the door.

I looked to see the same doctor sitting there.

"I think you need to see this."

I turned around to Fluttershy.

"Goodbye, my love..."

I then turned to the doctor and began to follow him. I looked behind me at Fluttershy one last time before leaving the room.

Eventually, we reached a room which was about 10 rooms down from where Fluttershy was. When we entered, we were greeted by some pony looking machine.

I was...surprised to see this in a hospital.

"Look inside this machine."

I saw that the pony looking machine had a fetus inside of it.

"Who...who's baby is that?"

The doctor placed his hoof on my shoulder.

"...It's yours."

I slowly looked at him. "What?"

"While we...while we worked to get the baby out...we had realized that...well...she was carrying twins."

My eyes widened. Twins?

I quickly looked back to the one in the machine.

"How is this one alive?"

"Well...that one seemed to have been protected by the other one on impact, like a shield."

I continued to look at the fetus. It was smiling. It caused me to smile as well. Tears began to build up again.

"We...also found out that it's a female foal....so...have you got a name for her?"

I faintly grinned at the baby. I had the perfect name for her.

"Fluttershy."

About a week later, we had the funeral. It was a sunny day. You may be wondering why to have a funeral on a sunny day...Well...Fluttershy would've wanted it.

We all had arrived first. Eventually, much of Ponyville arrived, even the stallion who caused her death. Many ponies were still disgusted by him.

One by one, Fluttershy's friends went up to the front to make a speech about her. Behind the podium they stood at, was the coffin where Fluttershy would rest for eternity.

Once they all went up, I went up last. I told everypony about how beautiful, gentle, fragile, and passionate Fluttershy was as a friend, a marefriend, a wife, and a mother. I only finished halfway before I broke down in tears.

Twilight and Rainbow were the most affected. Pinkie's mane was deflated, her face showing complete sadness. Applejack buried her face in her hat, crying silently. Rarity tried her best not to cry while Spike sat next to her, comforting her.

Twilight and Rainbow hugged each other and cried silently as well. Once I came down and sat next to Twilight and Rainbow, I hugged them tightly, telling them I loved them very much.

Once the speeches were done and over with, we slowly began to lower Fluttershy's coffin into the ground. I gently tossed flowers onto the coffin as it lowered 6 feet down.

Soon, everypony left. The hole was filled with dirt, and many flowers were placed in front of a tombstone. It read:

Fluttershy Ice
June 11th, 1992 - November 10th, 2011
A good friend, wife, and mother

I smiled at the word "mother."

She would've been a great mother.

About 7 months later, the foal had fully developed inside the machine. I headed to the hospital to retrieve my now born daughter.

She slept as I brought her home. She looked so adorable when sleeping.

just 4 months later, Twilight had gone into labor. We were back at the hospital once more. After a few hours, Twilight finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy. We had thought about the name for a minute. Twilight came up with Thunder Sparkle. I thought it was perfect. He looked just like me.

My daughter looked just like her mother...and my son...looked just like his father.

It was 20 years later, and I was visiting Fluttershy's grave once again. I had visited her grave many times, more than her friends did.

I placed flowers in front of the tombstone, which had many dead flowers around it. Some of them from the funeral were still around, but little remained of them.

"Dad?" I heard the sound of a stallion say behind me.

I slowly turned around to see my son, Thunder Sparkle, and my daughter, Little Fluttershy standing next to him. I had given her the Little part of her name 2 years after she was born. The two of them both looked at me. It had been 20 years since they were born. They already graduated from college, and owned houses in Ponyville, which was now a slowly growing city.

Over the years in Ponyville, Fluttershy's house was demolished. I took in the helpless animals. I had since then destroyed my home, and moved into Twilight's house. Rainbow still lived in her cloud home.

"Oh...hey, kids. Didn't expect you to be here," I said to them, my voice very deep.

"Why wouldn't we want to visit our m-mother's grave?" Little Fluttershy asked shyly. She had the same personality as her mother.

"I just...kinda...thought that...you guys had plans today..." I said.

"We canceled them."

I slightly smiled.

"So...Dad...do you think you can tell us a little bit more...a-about Mom?" Little Fluttershy asked me again shyly.

I chuckled. "Alright. Your mom was an...amazing mare..." My voice trailed offward as I told them all about Fluttershy, as well as Twilight...their mothers...and my wives.

Again, some kind of cheesy ending just like the good ending, but anyway, you have chosen the bad ending. Fluttershy loses her life from blood loss and a collapsed lung. That's all there is to kill her. Chavis54 in Chapter IX had an idea where the baby could stay alive in some sort of machine. I just made a pony looking machine. That's good enough, right? :D

Anyway, you got to see Thunder's children. I do realize their names are completely different in the previous chapter and this chapter. I'll rename them in the other chapter. They will be in future stories.

Anyway, that's all. Hope you cried and liked it. Well...I'm not that good at sad chapters, but what the hell. I tried. :3
