The Fate of My Wife and Child

This chapter will be probably maybe less than 500 words. Why so short? Well, because you get to make two choices at the end. Choice A and Choice B. What are they for? Well, read and see, silly (DOUCHEBAGS) ducks. :3

Anyway, enjoy.

Chapter IX: The Fate of My wife and Child
Ponyville Medical Center
8:30 p.m.

It had been nearly an hour since Fluttershy was taken by an ambulance carriage to the hospital. I sat in the carriage, holding her hoof as she laid unconscious. The pain she must've felt after that stallion...THAT STALLION....

*Flashback*
7:52 p.m.

I sat next to Fluttershy as she laid on the floor, out cold. Tears came down my eyes as I waited for the paramedics to arrive. Suddenly, I began to feel rage....nothing but pure rage growing inside of me.

Quickly, I turned to the stallion that pushed Fluttershy down...and lunged at him. I could clearly see fear in his eyes. Suddenly, I yelled into his face...

"NOPONY EVER HURTS MY WIFE! NOPONY!!!" I screamed into his face as loud as I could, hoping I hurt his ears.

Instantly, I began to punch him straight into the face, also clawing at it with my hooves. I hit him a couple of times with my elbow for good measure.

"Thunder, stop!" Rainbow yelled. I slowly looked over to see Rainbow, tears streaming down her face, crying as she saw me like this.

I...I couldn't stand seeing her cry like that, so I did what she said, but I looked back at the stallion.

"You win this round, stallion...but next time....hehehe....YOU MIGHT NOT BE SO LUCKY."

I then slowly got off the stallion, who was looked at in disgust by other ponies.

Suddeny, the door of Sugarcube Corner opened to reveal a stallion and mare paramedic. They quickly spotted my unconscious wife and gently picked her up. They then carried her and placed her onto a gurney. They gently, but quickly, rolled the gurney into the ambulance. They didn't even notice the stallion I beat the shit out of, luckily.

I then quickly got into the back of the ambulance and looked at the girls, who were standing at the door of the shop.

"We'll meet you there," Twilight said to me.

I nodded. The paramedics then shut the back doors of the ambulance, then got into the front seats of the carriage.

"Alright, go!" One of the paramedics called out to the two stallions in the front of the carriage. Once they started running, the carriage started going. It had already started to downpour.

As we moved along, I held Fluttershy's hoof, and whispered into her ear, hoping she would hear.

"Don't worry, baby...you're gonna be fine...I know it..."

*end of flashback*
8:30 p.m.

That was nearly 40 minutes ago. The paramedics had entered the medical center nearly 20 minutes ago. The rain had slowed us down during the trip.

I sat in the waiting room and looked out the window. The rain had still continued. Lightning bolts came down in the distance, the sound reaching me just a few seconds later. Just then, I could hear the sounds of many hooves on the floor. I turned around to see all of the girls, and even Spike, soaking wet from the downpour outside.

Pinkie, somehow, managed to dry herself off pretty quickly. Rarity whined as the rain soaked her precious mane. Spike tried to fix Rarity's mane, but sadly, failed.

I was then greeted by a hug from both Twilight and Rainbow. The cold water on both of them didn't bother me one bit. It kind of turned me on to see them both wet like this, but I realized it was not the time for that.

"You girls are freezing," I said to them.

"Here." I then handed them all towels I had grabbed from a storage closet near the waiting room.

After they all dried themselves off, they placed the towels on their heads to dry their manes and sat down on the comfortable seats in the room. I sat down in a seat between Twilight and Rainbow.

"So..." Twilight spoke. "What happened after the carriage arrived here?"

"Well...we entered here, then they brought her to the E.R. One of the doctors told me to wait here until I could see her again."

I then covered my face with my hooves.

"This is my fault." Suddenly, I felt a hoof touch my shoulder.

"Thunder, you didn't know it would happen. You couldn't stop it," I heard Twilight say to me.

"Yes I could, Twi. If I had been right there next to her, I could've stopped that stallion from ever pushing her down and hurting her and the baby."

Gently, I felt Twilight hugging my left side, followed by Rainbow hugging me on my right side.

"Don't worry..." Rainbow said.

"She'll be fine. I know it. She'll be fine, right?"

"I don't know, Dashie...we'll just have to wait...hope....pray." I then gently kissed the top of Rainbow's forehead, and gently brushed her mane with my hoof. I then looked to Twilight and kissed her forehead, and gently brushed her mane.

All seven of us just waited...waited for what seemed like hours, when only, it hadn't even been an hour...until a doctor came in.

"Mr. Ice?" The doctor said.

I looked to see him at the doorway.

"I need to speak with you alone, out here, please."

I slowly nodded, and gently let Rainbow and Twilight, who had both fallen asleep hugging me, rest their heads on my chair, while I walked outside with the doctor.

Once we were outside, he shut the door of the Waiting Room and looked to me.

"I have some news..."

My eyes widened a little.

"Wh...What happened, Doctor?"

Scratch that, maybe more than 500 words.

Anyway, this is time for YOU to choose between two choices: Choice A or Choice B.

...

For those of you who don't know, you can choose what happens to Fluttershy and her baby.

Now, If you'll excuse me, I'm off to find the elements.

Funny Joke: Looks like I... *drops sunglasses* ...dropped my glasses. FUUUUUUUU-
