Dragons Fire

Feeling something poking his head Victor began wake up from the oblivion known as sleep cracking open one eye he saw light slowly lighting up the room as it came through the slightly cracked blinds. Turning his head to the left a little he saw the orange mare that had worked him into this state tiredness and pain groaning he mumbled "So what do we got today ?" smiling she shook her head reaching down she began to pick up Victor by his under arms grunting she place him on the couch while saying "Nothing its day of relaxin' now you why were you sleeping on the floor ?"

"Would you believe me if I told you that your floor is a lot more comfortable than the couch ?"

"Sure it is sugar cube now you want breakfast ?"

"Oh yes I would."

"Alright lets go." Applejack said standing up she began to make her way to kitchen to begin preparing breakfast along with her brother staring at her Victor noticed she wore a plain red tank top with plaid pajama bottoms. Smiling he pushed himself up to began his walk to the kitchen standing up Victor smiled looking around he began to walk when he felt himself falling "Uh oh." was all he managed falling onto the floor face first.

Rushing back into the living room Applejack and Big Mac saw Victor laying on the floor face down walking up to him Applejack poked him again sighing she said "This is the fourth time."

(2 hours later)

Walking through town Victor was wearing black jeans, with a dark grey hoodie and a white shirt underneath it turning he looked down at the farmer she was wearing blue jeans with a white tank top with a red and blue plaid shirt over it. Making their way to the library Victor looked around the small town many ponies were walking around some of them would whisper to each other as he passed by while others would hurry along to what ever destination they were heading to. Sighing he saw that they had reached the library reaching for the door he opened it allowing the mare to enter before him nodding to him she walked in enter after he Victor saw the other five mare sitting in the main area already.

Walking in he felt all eyes going to him in an instant smiling he waved to Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy smiling back they waved back then turned back to the group continuing the conversation that they were in the middle of when him and AJ walked in. Finishing the conversation they turned to two of them speaking up first Twilight asked "So AJ how did his time at the farm go ?"

"It went well ah think ah got a pretty gud read on him."

"Hmmm and whats your assessment ?"

"He has good character but from what ah can guess he still hidin somethin."

"Hmmmm okay then." Twilight said before sitting down using her magic she brought in two chairs in for the both of them smiling Victor took the seat while giving thanks. After a few minutes of conversation flowed Rarity stood up and asked "So how about it will you girls help me today ?"

"Wait what are you asking them to help you with Rarity ?" Victor asked looking at the mare looking her over he saw that today she was in a simple black shirt and a white blouse smiling she said "With my jewel hunting you see I have a very large order to fill in and I need some jewels to do it but gathering them by myself would take to long."

"Ahh so you asked for help."

"Yep and we all agreed." Pinkie said popping up between the two of them looking at the pink mare Victor shook his head and took a sip of his tea after setting the cup back down he asked "Would you mind if I tagged along to help you six ?"

"Of course not darling it would be extremely helpful if you came along after all you look quite fit !" Rarity said looking over Victors slim muscular figure and his height adding onto her thought process smiling he said "Well i'll try and not be a burden."

(30 minutes later)

Walking down a dirt path Victor was caring a bag of pick axes and shovels in a bag while the girls pulled two small carts smiling he thought 'Maybe I could win those three over with this.....or at least one of them.' sighing he adjusted the bag on his shoulder. Pushing past a thicket of shrubs the group came across a bleak area that was nothing but grey rocks and brown grass "Okay everpony this is the spot now i'll just cast my spell and begin marking the spots." Rarity said after a moment her horn lit up a little picking up a stick she walked over to several spots and began to mark said spots with X's before walking off and placing more. Walking over to the mares he handed them the tools before he began to make his way over to a one of the spots and began to carefully dig into the rock his claws easily cutting into the element.

After a minute of digging Victor saw some objects shining in the small hole he had made reaching in he pulled out a few stones differing is color, size and shapes he carefully place them into one of the wagons before digging further. After pulling out several handfuls of gems Victor began to move over to a new area his tail slightly wagging in excitement 'My third time outside and I'm hunting for gem.......this is great !" he thought a child like smile plastered on his face.

Looking up Twilight and Rarity looked over to Victor seeing him at a new spot digging into the ground again his tail swaying back and forth while he smile like a child shown a magic trick. Smiling Rarity turned back to her work using her magic she began to move some rubble out of the way to get to some gems placing them into the wagon she looked up to see Twilight staring at Victor "Darling what's wrong ?"

"I just don't get it he acts like he has never done any of this !"

"Well he hasn't-"

"Rarity that's not what I meant before he left for AJ's to help with the farm Spike had made pancakes and bacon Victor asked what those were !"

"So ?"

"Rarity I really doubt he came from a world with out those foods but the oddest part was when we showed him the guest room he was surprised."

"Surprised how dearie." Rarity asked looking over to Victor seeing him carefully lifting another handful of gems into a the wagon looking up he smiled and waved smiling back Rarity gave him a small wave "Rarity what I mean was he acted like he's never seen a room like that, or a shop, or a café, heck anything really !"

"Hmmmm maybe this is what Applejack meant when she said he was hiding something."

"Now do you see why-"

"Twilight I understand your worry and believe me I have it to BUT do you know what I see when I look at Victor ?"

"No ?"

"I see a young stallion tossed into a world he knows nothing about when he should be confused and scared he's excited and happy instead of dreading another day here he looks forward to it... so please give him a chance even if its a small one."

"Fine I guess I can give him a chance." Twilight said sighing slightly her ears pressed to her skull smiling at her friend Rarity gave a simple thank you before returning to work.

(hour and half later)

Looking at the gems the main six had collected they smiled at each other about the haul they had gotten together, sighing they began to gather all the tools and supplies they had brought with them gather around the cart Rarity said "Thank you for helping me my friends I don't think that i could've gotten all these gems with out you all."

"Don't sweat it Rarity !" Rainbow Dash said flying up to the mare she wrapped an arm around her shoulders smiling at her friend smiling back Rarity gave her a quick hug before the friends began laughing together until a voice spoke up "Look at dis fellas a few ponies thought they coulds come onto our gem fields !" turning the main six saw a group of diamond dogs stand together eight in all. Stepping forward was a medium sized grey doge with golden eyes he stood a foot taller than Rarity smiling down at her he continued "You sees girly we don't enjoys you stealings from us."

"Stealing I am doing no such thing." Rarity said stepping away from her friends she looked up at the diamond dog smiling back he growled a bit making her back up "Reallys now cause i thinks you are stealings form us what do you boys thinks ?" the boys nodded stepping forward. Victor walked back up to the group noticing eight new figures he began to walk forward quietly "You rude brute why would i *SMACK*" Rarity was cut off by the dog slapping her. Falling to the ground she clutched her cheek feeling it swell slightly grabbing her hair the dog pulled her head back forcing her to look him in the eyes "You listen here girly you steals froms us we......expect certain things- he paused looking down at the dishevel blouse of the mare showing some of her cleavage smiling he continued "But if you did me a favor i could looks over this ?"

"Leave her alone !" Twilight said stepping forward she saw one of the dogs rush forward lashing out with its claws closing her arms she waited for the claws to hit her only the blow never came. Opening her eyes she saw Victor standing in front of her his wings spread wide moving to the side slightly she saw the dog was surprised falling back she noticed his left hand had blood on it gasping she ran in front of Victor seeing that he had blocked the attack with his arm only getting a minor cut. Turning Victor swung his tail at the Diamond dog who had Rarity hitting him across the jaw back into his friend Victor heard him yelp "You lot better leave."

"Or what !?!" a brown diamond dog asked snarling slightly getting down low the three other followed suit smiling Victor let breathed some fire so smoke curled form his mouth and said "I'll cook you alive !" looking at the thing in front of them the dogs growled getting low they were about to attack when Victor lunged forward kneeing the brown in the face before transitioning into a round house catching the two behind him in the jaws breaking them. Sending the three diamond dogs flying backwards into the dirt that left four more looking at each of them Victor got into a fighting stance rushing him the four dogs threw four different punches blocking three Victor caught the fourth straight in his face feeling his nose break.

Staggering back he lashed out with his tail catching one of them in the gut he swung around and delivered a back hand into the side of his head knocking the diamond dog out. Turning he saw the other three rushing up again jumping up Victor vaulted over the middle one while he grabbed the one on the right mid vault he used his weight and momentum to throw the dog into the forest hearing him yelp in pain and whimpering Victor could only guess where he landed turning to the last two he snarled at them causing them to turn tail and run.

Standing up slowly Rarity felt slightly dizzy follow over slightly she felt herself collide with something looking up she saw Victor smiling down at her worriedly kneeling down slightly he asked "Are you alright ?" smiling slightly she felt a few tears in her eyes wrapping her arms around his neck she held him close Victors eyes widened in surprise looking up he saw the five mares looking at him Twi raised both hands made 'go on' motion. Lifting both arms he hugged the mare and said "Hey its okay now."

(hour later)

Walking up to Rarity's house/workplace Victor opened the door with the key he got from Pinkie stepping inside he began to walk upstairs to her room. His wound had closed up nicely it had surprised all the mares when he showed off the wound on two counts the first being how fast he was healing and the second was the fact that he had ended getting injured and after seeing the injury and horrifying experience Rarity had passed out and some how Pinkie had convinced everbody that he should take Rarity home and put her to bed.

Reaching her room Victor opened the door with his tail walking inside he tried to set the mare down only for her grip to tighten around his neck gasping he picked her up. Looking down at the mare he saw how peaceful she was sleeping sighing he mumbled "Rarity let go I've got to-"

"Please don't leave." she whimpered in her sleep snuggling closer to his chest freezing up at the words Victor remember back to his younger days and how a doctor had taken a liking to him when he was six she had treated him like a son and would read him stories or sleep with him when he was scared looking at her he said "Only if your okay with it." seeing the mare nod he sighed and made his way onto the mare covering her with covers while he lied on top of them feeling a pair of arms wrap around him he said the most comforting words that he knew "Don't worry I'm here for you and I'm never going to leave."
