Constructive criticism is ok but flame will only be used to heat my home. So without further to do. Lets get the show on the road! Enter the Wolf They thought victory was theirs. They thought none would resist. They thought all would fall. Well they thought wrong… Deep below Canterlot’s Mountain Hammers bang against the red-hot steel. Tools of war gathered neatly against a wall. Smoke and steam filled the massive cavern as many warriors don their armor to begin restoring order to the carnal chaos that was Equestria. But it is not the ponies that are gathering for war. No, they have all fallen in line of this ‘new order’ save for a few. These warriors came from a variety of species from crocodiles to lions each with the same instinct of the hunt coursing their veins. Reptiles, mammals, sea and avian creatures all gathering in front of their leader ready to fight, ready to die. And who is this leader you ask? Well to answer that we must go back in time towards the beginning of the Caribou’s reign. Flashback Location Everfree Forest Much has change since the reign of the Caribou began. Gone were the creatures that once inhabit this land and in their place were more examples of the simple mindedness of the caribou. But among the sounds of these things there was another. A sound that was soft that can be barely heard unless you already knew the tune. The song was coming from a flute that was being played by a stranger from another realm. This stranger was wearing armor that was black as the night sky. And though he had the body of a man his head was that of a wolf with a singular horn protruding from his head. His name, for those that may not know, is Zen-Aku. How he came to Equestria is unknown even to him. First he was paying his tribute to his once traveling companion Merrik. Next he was whisk away before he knew what happened. So now the Wolf Duke Org wanders through the Everfree Forest in hopes of some sign of civilization or at least some answers. “Hmm.” Zen-Aku growled to himself. “It would appear that I have finally reach the edge of this strange wood.” Just as exited the forest he suddenly started hearing a struggle taking place beyond the hill in front of him. Zen-Aku dashed to the top of the hill and came upon a despicable sight. A white mare with a purple mane and tail was running for her very life while a group of male caribou and stallions were just inches away from her. “Get away from me you uncivilized brutes!” the mare screamed at her pursuers. Zen-Aku watched as rage began to course through his veins. Even Orgs have some sense of decency not much but some. The males soon caught the mare and began groping her figure while holding her down. But before they could begin their cruel ‘fun’, they all started to hear music. (Play the first 14 secs of this ) Everyone even the mare turn to see Zen-Aku approached them with his flute playing its’ haunting tune. When he finished he was a foot away from them and looked into each of their eyes with his own. “I believe that the young lady requested that you back off.” Zen-Aku stated. His voice causing the men to shiver while giving the mare a glimmer of hope. “She is just a stupid cunt that needs to know her place pal!” One of the caribou cried out. He thinks that he and his ‘superior’ allies would outmatch this stranger. Oh how wrong these fools be. “Last chance mongrel,” Zen-Aku stated as he takes out his signature weapon. “Leave the mare in peace or leave the world in pieces!” “GET HIM!” the men cried out as they charge at the stranger. Zen-Aku watch casually as the fools rush towards him before getting into his stance. “Crescent Blade, CRESCENT WAVE!” Zen-Aku cried as a wave of energy flew out of his weapon and sliced the men in two. After the one-sided battle, Zen-Aku walked over to the mare to check for any injury she may have sustained. “Are you alright?” “I am now thanks to your efforts, good sir.” The mare said gratefully. “And to think I thought there were no more good men around anymore.” “You mean that there are more of these cretins!?” Zen-Aku asked in an astonished voice. “It has been that way since the caribou took over.” The mare said. “Any decent male would have been shipped of to be transgendered and any mare with a scrap of resistance would be raped until their mind is completely gone.” “Then I would wager that my being here is by some will of a god or something similar.” “What do you mean?” Zen-Aku stood back up and bowed to her causing the mare to blush. “I am Zen-Aku. Former Duke Org and warrior of the moon. May I inquire your name before we begin our journey?” The mare was blushing so hard you would think that her coat was red instead of white. “ My name is Rarity Belle and what do you mean by a journey.” “I have been seeking a way to redeem myself for past actions and it would appear that destiny has brought me here to achieve that goal Rarity.” Zen-Aku said honestly. "Now let us find you some appropriate attire for our journey. Or would you prefer to remain in the nude?" Rarity then realized that she had been sitting in front of him with all of her good exposed. "Perhaps some attire would be nice good sir." She said embarrassingly as she tried to cover herself in vain. Zen-Aku decided to assist by cutting strips of cloth from his own attire and offered them to her. "This should suffice for now" "Th-thank you Sir Zen-Aku." Rarity stuttered and used the cloth to cover her bosom and created a loin cloth out of the remains. "Just call me Zen-Aku Rarity." Zen-Aku stated "Now let us be on our way from the pile of trash before us." And so the journey begins for the unicorn and Zen-Aku.

Remember helpful criticism is nice but flames will be used to heat my home. An Apple a Day Just like the phases of the moon, darkness gives way to the light. Location: Ponyville Outskirts As Zen-Aku and Rarity make their way to a location that Rarity said was safe for the time being, they conversed as to what has happened to Equestria. Zen-Aku learned about Dain and how he had conquered this peaceful land. He also learned of what has happened to Rarity's friends the renowned Elements of Harmony. To say that the news upset him was saying that snow is just a bit cold. It was then that he came up with a plan. "The first thing we must establish is a means to restore the mares of this world back to what they once were, Rarity." Zen-Aku stated as the continued down the unused path. "Then we can begin plans to restore order to your home." "Unfortunately the only ones that may be able to help us are the princesses and they are all red collars." Rarity said while her eyes kept darting from Zen-Aku to the world around her. "I do not believe that they're our only hope my friend." "What do you mean?" "From my understanding Equestria was created by the three tribes correct?" "Yes, and they were the Earth pony, Pegasus, and Unicorn tribes. But what does that have to do with our current dilemma?" "It means that while they have united, it doesn't mean that all of their individual secrets were shared." "Are you saying that maybe there is some form of ancient magic that can work?" "It could also already be in use right now." Rarity gasped when she realized what Zen-Aku was implying. "Of course the Crystal Heart and Discord's magic!" "Indeed." "So what can we do?" "Well first we must free your friends that are not corrupted by this spell." And so they continued on their path until they came across a huge red barn. This barn used to belong to the entire Apple family but when the caribou came only Big Macintosh can own the land. This land used to produce the freshest and crispest of apple this side of Canterlot. Now it is full of pods that spout out tentacles that seek out a lone female that stumble upon them. Big Mac was not like the other males though. He tried to keep his family, and any female that he won through auction, safe from those of ill intent. He did not enjoy watching the females work the farm as though they are lowly servants. He did not enjoy red and purple collar mares trying to get into his pants. And he especially did not enjoy seeing his sisters being forced to walk in public completely exposed and just take any male that wants them on their knees. But he must be careful or else he would be dragged off to one of the caribou's centers to become a mare and be raped repeatedly. Today was inspection day for Sweet Apple Acres and all the mares were lined up in front of the barn, hands behind their back and breasts out front. Among them was Applejack and the former Cutie Mark Crusaders Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle. The caribou doing the inspection was really looking forward to these fillies. Big Mac was standing to the side fist clenching and face hard. The caribou and his guards going from mare to mare groping their breast and fingering the pussy. The mares forcing themselves not to moan at the intrusions. Even Applejack was forced to endure this humiliation. But before they began with the CMC they heard a haunting melody flowing through the air. The melody promising justice against the caribou. Five minutes before Zen-Aku and Rarity sneaked through the trees and in the shadows they gave. When they found their objective the inspection was already underway. "Which one is Applejack?" Zen-Aku asked as his eyes were scanning for the mare. "That would be the orange Earth pony and *gasp* Sweetie Bell!" Rarity answered before seeing her sister and friends. Zen-Aku followed her gaze and growled at the sight before him. "Stay here and hidden Rarity. I am going to send a message to the fool of a king." Back to present The caribou turned to see Zen-Aku approaching them. His eyes glowing like a golden moon. His posture regal and gave the air of a warrior ready for battle. His weapon in hand ready to cut down his enemies. "Uh what brings you here stranger?" the caribou asked as his eyes locked on the weapon. "Why justice brought me here cretin." Zen-Aku snarled as his weapon was poised for attack. "Justice! Against your fellow men?" "You and I are not the same. A man defends the helpless. A man does not strike a woman. A MAN IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE!" Zen-Aku roared as he charged at the caribou. "What are you waiting for you fools? KILL HIM!" But before his guards can charge Big Mac saw this as his opportunity for some payback. He grab the two guards by the head and slammed them together resulting in a double knockout. The inspector turned just in time to see Zen-Aku right in front of him grabbing his throat. "You shall live if only as a messenger." "What do you mean?" The inspector choked out. "Tell your king that the wolf is now on the hunt and that he is in the mood for some caribou." Zen-Aku ordered. "Y-y-yes sir." "Good" Zen-Aku then tossed the caribou away from him before turning to the fool's guards. "and as motivation for you. I believe a demonstration is in order." Zen-Aku took his blade and ran it through the two guards with practiced ease. The remaining caribou looked on in horror as this monster turned to him. "Well, what are you waiting for?" The caribou ran in shear terror and kept running until he was out of sight. "Thank you kindly uh... sir." Big Mac said uncertain of this stranger's true intentions. "You are welcome but do not be so humble about your actions my friend." Zen-Aku then turned towards the mares that were staring at him with wide eyes. Some with amazement while others were with terror. "I have come with a familiar face to you as a traveling companion and I find myself in need of others to assist me in my quest to bring freedom to Equestria." He then spotted Applejack and the crusaders. AJ put herself in front of her sister and friends. While she was grateful for his interference he was still male and therefore untrustworthy. Zen-Aku understood the stance and commended her for it. To him it means that there is hope for the future of this land he found himself in. "I understand your skepticism Applejack, so as proof of my sincerity allow me to reintroduce your friend." Zen-Aku turn toward the direction he came from and called out Rarity from her hiding spot. When AJ saw Rarity and in her current attire, she did not care if she was nude. She ran towards Rarity like a bat out of Tartarus. After much time catching up and introducing Zen-Aku, they agreed to help him on his quest but on one condition. That condition was that the Crusaders were going with them. Zen-Aku tried to dissuade them from coming however he was convinced after hearing the treatment of children by the caribou. And so what was two is now six as Big Mac decided to stay behind as a means of information for Zen-Aku and his companions. Who will be next on their journey? Well only time will tell.
Night of the WolfView OnlineThe Beast of WarNight of the WolfAuthor's Note Sorry about the delay in updating. I have been healing from a broken ankle that require surgery during the ninth of January. What a way to kick off the new year huh? Anyway here is the latest chapter of The Beast of War. Night of the Wolf It wasn't until nightfall that Zen-Aku and his companions had finally stopped at a safe place to set up camp. The girls were accomplishing the tasks set before them while Zen-Aku went to gather food and medicinal plants. "So this Zenaku feller just showed up and killed the men chasing you?" Applejack asked while gathering wood for the fire. "That's right Applejack." Rarity answered "And he did it as though he was bored." Rarity then continued her task of making some garments from the fabric that the Apple family had in the attic. "So how we do we know that doesn't make him some coldblooded killer?" "If he was some 'coldblooded killer', then why did he bother saving any of us at all?" "Maybe it's cause he wants us for himself!" "I'll have you know Applejack, that he is nothing more than a gentleman." Rarity stated haughtily. Before Applejack can retort her sister and friends came back from getting water from the river nearby. "Is everything alright?" Applebloom asked with her head tilt to the side. "We're fine lil' sis." "We were just discussing our unique friend Applebloom." Rarity said while inspecting her work. "Well it's not my best work but it will do for now." Rarity then distributed the clothing to the rest and made sure they fit everyone. "He's kinda cool, not as cool as Rainbow Dash but a close second!" Scootaloo exclaimed. "And did ya hear his music?" Sweetie Belle asked. Before any further discussion can continue, Zen-Aku emerged from the foliage surround the camp with an assortment of edible plants. His senses ever alert as he set his findings down and sat down on one of the stones. "I found us enough food for at least a two day journey, if we ration it wisely." Zen-Aku stated. "What about you Mr. Zen-Aku?" Applebloom asked. "As an Org I do not require food as you do young one." "What's an Org?" "Something that I rather not discuss at this time." Zen-Aku then looked towards his companions. "You may want to eat right now and get some rest. I will take the night watch and we will leave camp at dawn." Zen-Aku then got back up and walked towards the foliage before jumping onto a tree branch. The girls decided to heed his advice and ate their rations before laying down to rest. When Zen-Aku was sure that the girls were asleep he allowed his thoughts to wander. His thoughts were on the situation he found himself in and the questions that came with it. Why was he sent here? How was he going to save these people? If it were any other Org, they wouldn't even care so why does he? All these questions were buzzing around in his head like an angry wasp nest and it was driving him insane. 'I have been sent here by some sort of force without a means of figuring out who or what did this.' He thought. He then brought out his flute dagger and began to play his tune and began to gather his thoughts once more. Late into the night Zen-Aku's eyes continue to scan the area for any signs of danger when his ears picked up a sound. Something was coming near his companions, but is it friend or foe? Zen-Aku stealthily leaped from his branch and blended into the darkness. His dagger poised to strike as he continued to listen and watch. A shadowed figure stumbled out of the foliage looking around as if it was lost. Before the figure can get its' bearings Zen-Aku leaped tackled it to the ground. "HEY GET OFF ME!" the person cried as they continued to struggled. The cry wakes everyone up and see Zen-Aku pinning downed someone. Rarity let out a scream and Applejack went over to help. "Who are you and why are you here?" Zen-Aku demanded. His dagger at the stranger's neck. "Flash Sentry!" Flash cried out. "Please for the love of Celestia and Luna, don't kill me!" Zen-Aku looked to the others. "Does his name sound familiar to any of you and do you believe we can trust him?" "Yes it does, but let's find out why he was here in the first place." Applejack answered as her eyes narrowed "Before we start trusting him." "Very well." Zen-Aku replied. He glared back at Flash. "Care to answer the lady's question or do we do things another way." Flash's eyes widen and began to answer all their questions. Apparently word of Zen-Aku had quickly spread further than anticipated and Flash was a part of some underground resistance force that was trying and failing to stop the Caribou. Flash was sent to find and recruit Zen-Aku to the cause. Zen-Aku pondered about this and came up with a compromise. "I will join your cause Flash Sentry, however I will do things my way and without their knowing." Zen-Aku stated. "Then why join at all?" Flash asked. "You misjudged me. This arrangement is to make sure that neither party involved will compromise the other in case of capture." "Oh I get it!" Scootaloo exclaimed "That way the Caribou won't know any critical information about the resistance. Oh this is just like a spy movie!" "Except if we get capture there will be no easily escaping death traps." Sweetie Belle stated with some worry in her voice. "Rest assured Sweetie Belle that I will defend you and your friends to the very end." Zen-Aku said calmly. He then looked towards Flash. "Will you join us on our journey as we may need a Pegasus?" "As long as you are serious about joining the resistance, I don't see why not." Flash stated with his hand out. Zen-Aku took the offer and shook Flash's hand in agreement. "Then get some sleep everyone." Zen-Aku ordered. "For we have a long journey ahead of us." "Where are we going?" Rarity ask. "To the Unicorn Kingdom" Zen-Aku stated looking off into the distance.
The Unicorn KingdomView OnlineThe Beast of WarThe Unicorn KingdomThe journey went slower than expected as patrols were increasing the closer the group came to their destination. Needless to say Zen-Aku was getting agitated with these obstacles. The mares with were growing tired after every delay and with the addition of Flash Sentry supplies had to be split further. Flash often volunteers to get more supplies from nearby towns but Zen-Aku refused saying that he will gather more from the wilds when they find a suitable spot for camp. Rarity and Applejack began to wonder why he keeps insisting on doing it this way rather than allowing Flash to do as he suggested. So one night they have decided to confront Zen-Aku. "Ok Zen-Aku what in tarnation is going on here?" Applejack demanded. "What are you talking about?" Zen-Aku countered. "We are talking about your refusal to allow Flash Sentry to pick up supplies." Rarity answered. "After all I believe that, given the circumstances, we can use the fact that he is a stallion to our advantage." "It is because he is a stallion that I am refusing to go with the idea." Zen-Aku stated. He look towards Flash as he and the Crusaders were gathering wood for the fire. "We do not know the methods of how the corrupted heart affects the stallions nor if the dark magic is transferable from one to another. I would rather not take the chance of loosing an ally at this point of time." "So in other words it's better to be safe than sorry." AJ understood now. "We are sorry for not thinking about that." Rarity apologized. "there is no need for apologies." Zen-Aku replied. "We all wish that these patrols would thin out a little." The next day the group have finally managed to reach their destination. The ruins of the kingdom were magnificent even though the years and elements have not been kind. The remains of towers and buildings still stand tall as though they refuse to fall and fail their mission of protecting the spirits that remain within. "So now that we are here I gotta ask." Flash said. "What is so important?" "Knowledge is power my friend. And even the friendliest of people always keep a weapon on hand." Zen-Aku answered. "But this place is huge!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "Yeah how are going to find anything here?" Scootaloo asked. "We will start at the castle ruins and work our way out." Zen-Aku stated and began to assign the ponies to various places to look with himself being paired with Flash Sentry. With Flash and Zen-Aku Flash and Zen-Aku traveled to the floors below the castle where the dungeons and other dark secret would normally be kept. Flash look around with a quake in his hooves while Zen-Aku kept his stride as though the darkness does not phase him. Zen-Aku looked to his partner and decided to try conversation to ease his fears. "Tell me Flash Sentry. Just how many are in your resistance?" Zen-Aku asked. "Oh we only have a couple dozen or so." Flash answered. "But we are hoping to recruit or rescue more in the future." "I see and do you know who is in charge of this organization." "Oh that will be the remaining stallions like um..." "You do not know do you?" "Well I am still kinda new and it's all about trust and such." Flash stated as his voice started to stuttered. "I see." "Yeah! I mean you don't want the wrong people or anything right?" "That is true." Zen-Aku then turned and grab Flash by the throat. "Which is why I wanted to be sure that the other wont see what I will do to you." "What are you talking about?!" Flash choked. "I find it rather odd that the minute you showed up, the patrols began to increase, or how you kept insisting on leaving the group in enemy territory to gather supplies." Zen-Aku began to squeeze the air out of Flash. When Flash thought he would suffocate Zen-Aku releases his hold and dropped him to the floor. "How did *cough* you know?" "It was the matter of how the caribou knows just what town we are passing by and such." Zen-Aku answered. "so what reward did the Fool King offered hmm?" " Well since you're going to kill I may as well answer." Flash stated with defeated tone "I will finally get that bitch Twilight as my personal slave!" Flash lunged at Zen-Aku with fire in his eyes. Zen-Aku side-stepped his opponent and deliver a chop to the neck. Flash fell unconscious to the floor. Author's Note I know that this isn't much and it feels rushed. But I just got a new job and that sorta takes priority right now. I'm not trying to make excuses or anything but I hope that you'll still enjoy the fic and if you have any helpful ideas then please let me know and I'll take 'em into account. I know this is not what you expect but I hope you can hold out a little bit longer. Just so you can see where I am thinking of taking this, I have been thinking of using the anime "Overlord" as inspiration to create a better of the story. Here is a sneak peek at what I am thinking about: |THIS STORY HAS NOT BEEN RATED| Rainbow Dash, the element of loyalty, was running through the Everfree Forest as fast as her feet can take her. "Why is she not flying?" you may ask. Well thanks to the Caribou taking control of Equestria, all mares the young and the old are reduced to slavery with the pegasi and unicorns of what makes them unique. Rainbow panting as she looked behind her to see her pursuers closing in on her. "Get back here and take your punishment like a good C****!" shouted a caribou slaver. His companions close behind him. As the chase continues someone or something was watching. The stranger's eyes narrow as it continued their observation. Once they pass by the stranger, an arrow was launched at the last pursuer . The arrow hit its' mark at the neck, killing him instantly. This continued on until on Rainbow and the slaver remained. The slaver caught up and tackled Rainbow to the ground. "Now I got you b****!" he cried in victory, "And for punishment who wants a go first?" He looks behind and sees no one. "Huh, where is everyone?" "Letsss jussst sssay they are no longer your concern." a voiced hissed from the forest. Suddenly they were surrounded by a multitude of creatures. Every single one had a varying degree of animal like features. From simply have ears and/or tales to being a full blown anthropomorphic. While vastly different they all share the same symbol on their person. |End Preview| So think I should go for this? Please let me know.
