Sonic Boom: When Worlds Collide

Twilight ran through the forest as fast as she could with her friends and the Princesses on her tail. They just had to find out what happened to the others before it was too late. “Twilight Darling, wait up!” Rarity yelled as Twilight ran ahead of them.

“Come on girls! We don’t know what’s happened to them! For all we know, they could be dust by now. We gotta hurry!” Twilight yelled looking back. However, when she turned back, she noticed she was running out of road and toward a cliff. Twilight skidded to a stop just in time, looking down the cliff only to gasp at what she saw.

“Princesses!” Twilight shouted back as the others caught up to her. “Look down there!” she said pointing down the cliff. Celestia and Luna looked over the cliff and gasped as well. Down below seemed to be strange roads all over the place, making sharp turns, and sometimes actually doing loops. Some of the roads had little blue circles at the end of them, with another road just abit ahead. And they all seemed to have large glowing gates on them.

“Just what kind of road is this?” Luna asked as Celestia shook her head.

“I’ve never seen roads like this before. In fact, I’ve never seen this forest before!” The Princess of the Sun said as the others looked at her in disbelieves.

“But if you have never seen this area before, then where did it come from?” Fluttershy asked as Rarity stepped forward.

“So I take it you don’t know about that town either Princesses?” she asked pointing a hoof forward. Everypony looked forward and gasped. There it was, an entire town at the end of road.

“Perhaps we should go down there and see how these ponies have managed to hide from us for so long.” Celestia said as they teleported to the bottom of the cliff.

“Ok boys, and Sticks, I am proud to introduce you all to the now CLOTHED Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie!” Amy said as her friends stepped outside Tails’ house to see Rainbow, AJ, and Pinkie now fully clothed and standing proud. Sonic suddenly zoomed up to the trio and gave them a quick look over.

“Man Amy, you sure know how to get a fashion job right hehe” he said giving his friend a high-five. Rainbow Dash blinked in disbelieve.

“Wait, how did you just get over here in a second flat?” she asked as Sonic ran into the house only to run back out with a bag of chips.

“Hmm? Oh, my speed? I was born with it hehe. Comes in handy a lot, especially when dealing with Egghead.” Sonic said as Applejack scratched her chin.

“Egghead? You mean Eggman?” She asked as the others turned towards her.

“Wait, you met Eggman?” Tails said walking up towards her.

“Ya. He was the one who turned us into this.” Sonic punched his fist into his palm and turned to his gang.

“I think Im gonna go pay Baldy McNosehair a visit.” Sonic said as Rainbow Dash ran over to him and put her arm on his shoulder.

“Count me in! I got a few things I wanna say to that jerk!” She said as she walked over. Applejack and Pinkie Pie shrugged.

“Sure. Would give us a chance to get used to running around on these two legs” Applejack said as Pinkie Pie hopped over towards the gang. Sonic nodded and turned towards his gang. “What about you guys?”

“Nah Sonic. I got an invention to work on.” Tails said as he turned towards his home. “Thanks for the invite though.”

Knuckles shook his head and flexed his mussels. “Im good. I got some weights to lift.”

“I cant as well. I need to go find Pinkie Pie a much better outfit for her.” Amy said as Pinkie Pie looked down at her clothes wondering what was wrong with them. Sticks then pulled out her leaf book to check her schedule.

“I cant. Im supposed to be digging through garbage in 10 minutes” Sonic scratched his head and shrugged at Stick’s plan, then turned towards the girls.

“Well I guess it’s just us then! Come on, your gonna enjoy chasing after Eggman!” Sonic said as he began running towards Eggman’s base.

“GRRR WHERE ARE THOSE TEST SUBJECTS?!?!?!” Eggman screamed as he flew over the forest in his Egg-O-Matic. “HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND DEFEAT SONIC IF I CANT EVEN FIND MY TEST SUBJECTS THAT I WANTED TO DEFEAT HIM WITH?!?!?” Eggman was about to rage and blast a random tree when he spotted 5 more ponies walking through the forest.

“Hmm… perhaps this isn’t a total loss. I can just make more minions! Hehe” Eggman directed his Egg-O-Matic towards the ground and punched a button having a massive energy net pop out.

Twilight stopped walking forward and held a hoof up to stop the others. “Do you guys hear that?” she asked as everypony stopped and listened closely. They soon heard a strange sound, and whatever it was, it was getting closer and faster. They looked up only to scream as a massive net made of energy grabbed them and pulled them off the ground.

“WHATS GOING ON? WHO ARE YOU?” Celestia shouted as the Egg-O-Matic carried them towards the strange building they saw earlier.

“OH HOHOHO!!! YOU 5 WILL MAKE PERFECT MINIONS IN MY BATTLE AGAINST SONIC!!!” The 5 ponies all gulped as the voice yelled at them and flew over a road towards the building.

“Alright gang, try and keep up with me hehe” Sonic said as he ran onto a road with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie following him. Before they could say anything, the gang blasted forward at high speeds. Applejack and Pinkie Pie almost tripped over their own feet, not being used to running this fast, but Rainbow Dash begun flapping her wings and began flying after Sonic, who was running just as fast as she was flying.

“Impressive speed there Sonic!” Rainbow said as Sonic grinned and gave her the thumbs up.

“Impressive speed yourself Dash! Looks like you just might be able to keep up with me!” Rainbow smirked at the challenge at begun flapping even harder as AJ and Pinkie Pie caught up with them.

“Whoa-Nelly! Perhaps it would be better if we got used to this speed before you started a race?” Sonic nodded and began running backwards.

“Fine Fine. Guess it’s a better idea to let you two get used to this before leaving you in the dust.” Sonic said before turning around only to spot a flying pod on the next road over with an energy net full of… Ponies? “HEY EGGHEAD!!!” Sonic shouted as he ran down a path leading to the road with his companions following him.

Eggman growled the moment he heard his arch-nemesis call out to him making fun of his name. “SONIC! WHY DON’T YOU JUST GO AWAY WHILE I WORK ON MY PLANS TO ELIMANATE YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!” Eggman shouted as Sonic chuckled to himself.

“SINCE WHEN HAS ANY OF YOUR PLANS EVER WORKED BALDY MCNOSEHAIR? I BEAT YOU EVERY TIME!” Sonic shouted as he caught up to Eggmans Egg-O-Matic.

“THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT AFTER I MUTATE AND BRAINWASH THESE CREATURES TO HELP ME DEFEAT YOU AND CONQUER THE WORLD!!! YA HAHAHAH!!!” Eggman laughed slaming a button on his controls to blast forward.

“HELP US!!!” Came screams from the energy net as Eggman flew ahead. “THAT SOUNDS LIKE OUR FRIENDS AND THE PRINCESSES!” Pinkie Pie yelled as she began picking up speed to catch up to save her friends. Sonic frowned at hearing Eggman kidnapped these girls friends and blasted forward catching up to Eggman almost instantly.

“HEY EGGMAN!!!” Sonic yelled as Eggmans captives looked on in shock at a blue hedgehog running at amazing speeds yelling at the stranger that captured them. Suddenly they turned their heads to see 3 other creatures, 2 running, 1 flying, coming up behind the hedgehog at nearly his speed.

“Darling, do they look familiar to you as well?” Rarity said noticing details on the girls that reminded her of her friends. Rainbow Dash blasted forward catching up to Sonic.

“HEY YOU FAT JERK! LET OUR FRIENDS GO!!!” She yelled as Applejack and Pinkie Pie caught up as well.

“YOUD LIKE THAT WOULDN’T YOU? SHAME I NEED YOUR FRIENDS HELP IN DEFEATING SONIC!” Eggman yelled as Sonic suddenly jumped up and landed on the pod. “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!?!” Eggman screamed as Sonic smirked.

“This!” Suddenly Sonic hit a button on the control panel releasing the net as Applejack ran underneath it and caught them just in time.

“Yall ok?” She asked setting her friends down as Pinkie Pie came over and got the net off of them. Sonic smiled at a job well done and jumped off the pod and continued running only to screech to a hault when Eggman stopped.

“Grr… THIS ISNT OVER SONIC!!! ILL BE BACK, AND YOULL REGR-!” Eggman yelled before choking. He pressed another button as a glass of water popped up and he chugged it down. “Yelling so much hurts my throat after awhile. No matter! Ill be back Sonic! And you and your new friends wont be able to stop me!” Eggman said as he began flying away.

“Pfft, as if Eggface.” Sonic said as he turned to see Rainbow Dash standing there watching Eggman get away.

“Were not gonna chase that monster?” Rainbow Dash asked as Sonic walked over to her placing a hand on her shoulder.

“Theres always time to catch Eggman. Right now weve got more important matters to deal with.” Sonic said looking towards Applejack and Pinkie Pie as they got the rest of the girls and the Princesses out of the net. Rainbow Dash nodded and they ran over to them.

“Is everyone alright?” Sonic asked as Twilight walked over to him.

“Yes, were alright now, all thanks to the four of you.”

Sonic nodded and rubbed his nose. “All in a days work hehe” Rainbow chuckled remembering back to a time she thought of herself as a hero and acted cocky. Guess it was just something that happened to anyone who acted or was a hero.

“Well were glad your all ok” Rainbow Dash said as Twilight looked at her hearing her voice.

“Rainbow Dash? What happened to you?” She asked looking her up and down.

“It was that Egghead guy! He captured the 3 of us in that building and released some kind of gas, which after breathing it in, we changed into this.” Rainbow Dash explained embarrassed.

“Strange… and who are you exactly?” Princess Luna asked turning towards Sonic.

“Im Sonic the Hedgehog. Fastest thing alive and hero of Mobius!” he said doing a one handed hand-stand.

Princess Luna nodded and replied “I am Princess Luna, ruler of the night, and this is my sister Princess Celestia, ruler of the day and of all of Equestria.” Princess Celestia nodded as Rarity, Fluttershy, and Twilight stepped forward.

“My name… is… fluttershy…” Fluttershy mumbled. “Hello Darling. My name is Rarity.” Rarity said. “My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship!” Twilight said proudly as Sonic smirked nodding.

“Well I guess youd better come with us back to Knothole. Im sure Tails might be able to have a clue as to whats going on!” Sonic said as he began walking back towards the village with everypony. Rainbow Dash smirked and turned towards Twilight as they began their journey back.

“Its good to see you followed us Egghead hehe.” Rainbow said as she patted Twilight on the back. Before she could say anything however, Twilight suddenly fell to the ground in pain. Sonic heard the moans of pain and turned around just in time for Twilight to suddenly change entirely. Her back hooves grew feet as her legs suddenly turned around to bend like normal legs, her front hooves grew fingers. Her mussel shrunk down as two lumps formed on her chest. Twilight laided there for a few seconds turning her head to inspect herself as her Cutie Mark suddenly vanished off her flank.

“Wha-Wha-WHAT???” Twilight screamed before passing out.
