Shortly after the banishment of her sister and the death of her best friend, Celestia seeks to escape the castle walls which hold such memories of days gone by.

She looks to a mountain in the north for her escape. She sees this both as an opportunity to leave her past behind and to build a new future for her kingdom.

This is the story of her trials to cope and unite her little ponies.
