Twilight Sparkle, along with Sunset Shimmer and their friends, were offered jobs by Principal Celestia or Vice Principal Luna after graduation. They pay was good, there was travel involved, and they even had considerable health insurance. As it turns out, they were hired as mercenaries to fight for the sisters to gain their inheritance from their deceased father. The battles have been trying on everyone. Now, Twilight wants out, and is trying to salvage what remains of her friendships while trying to stay alive.
