A Little princess

Not too long ago, there was a little filly sitting with her brother Shining Armor in a carriage heading down to a boarding school. There, she would remain until her brother returned for her .Their parents died about four years ago in a fire when Twilight was just eight years old . Ever since, Twilight and Shining Armor had been protecting each other, and most of all staying with each other.

Twilight looked out at the foggy streets of Canterlot. The scene reminded her of those sunny days spent in Ponyville with Shining Armor with their parents. She was thinking of herself and Shining Armor back in Ponyville where it was almost always sunny and they were with their parents all playing in the park. Ever since Shining Armor joined the army as Captain, she had to attend boarding school in Canterlot.

"Are we there yet?" Twilight asked Shining Amour nudging him a little bit.

"Soon, Twili, very soon." He responded with a smile.

‘Twili.’ Twilight smiled at the familiar word. Their father always called her by that name.

After a while, a voice came towards her. Her father nuzzled her as he said, "I love you Twili.” And her mom, like the element of kindness herself, always had a smile on her face. She was always honest to herself, and to everyone. She was basically all of the elements combined. Suddenly, Twilight’s trails of thoughts stopped as her brother whispered

"We’re here."

Twilight looked at the sign next to the carriage and started to read

‘Celestia's Boarding School for young Fillies’

“Well . . . here goes nothing.”

She sighed as she stepped out of the carriage. She went with her brother to the door of the school and knocked. The door swung open and a little yellow filly  about Twilight's' age with long pink ragged mane with tattered cloths on.

"Miss. Celestia, there is someone at the door to see you!"

Suddenly, a tall white alicorn came out of nowhere came in and pushed the little Philly to the side like she was never there.

"Welcome to my school, may I help you?"

"Oh yes, I'm Captain Shining Armor and this is my little sister Twilight". He nudged Twilight to say hello to Miss. Celestia. Twilight jolted out of her daydream, plastering a fake smile on her face"Hello Ms. Celestia ".

"Come in, Come in." Celestia motioned them inside.

But what Shining Armor and Twilight didn’t know was that Celestia was a very  greedy pony that wanted money and nothing more. In fact, she smirked as they trotted by and saw his wallet full of the money that he was going to pay her.

When they walked in, Celestia directed them to two seats near her desk. Then she asked a few questions to make sure this was the real Shining Armor. Soon Miss. Celestia directed them to where Twilight would be staying. When they got in, Miss. Celestia went to go get her assigned cloths she would be wearing to got to school. While she was gone Twilight asked her brother once more "Why do you need to go?"

Shining Armor responded with a small sigh, "Because Twili, in the Crystal Empire there is a evil shadow that is attacking the once beautiful kingdom and . . .”

He didn’t need to say the rest, Twilight knew the story. Several years ago, she had come across a book on Equestria’s history and learned about a villain who was darkness itself . . . King Sombra.

"I have something for you, "Shining Armor murmured. He opened up his saddle bag from behind him then with his magic he took out a book and a little doll that had a mane like the stars and looked like a night princess. Twilight looked at these two things with pride and joy but not really with the doll. When Twilight was little, she was one of those fillies who did not like dolls but she loved books.

"Thank you so much Shining Armor! But you know I don't like dolls right?"

"Yes I know, but this doll goes with the story."

Her name is Luna and she is the Princess of the Night and . . . well you need the book to find out what happens.

Twilight looked at the book and read,“‘The little Princess.’”

Right when she was about to open up the cover, Miss Celestia came in with her clothes. "Okay Twilight these are the clothes  you will be wearing when you go to class tomorrow ok?"

"Yes ma'am".

Just Twilight thought she would leave, Celestia quickly turned to the Captain, "One more thing, do you have the money for Twilight’s stay?"

"Yes I do, right here. This will be good for three months before I come back for Twili."

Her eyes widened as she looked into the wallet. A predatory smile stretched across her face, “This will do nicely.”

"Very well,” Shining Armour replied, glancing quickly at the clock."I need to go."

Twilight tried to fight back the tears.

Shining shifted uncomfortably. "I need to, Twilight I'm running late. Don't worry I’ll be back by your birthday."

"That would be the best gift ever." Twilight smiled a little when he heard that  Shining Armor kissed her on the forehead and left trying to hold in the tears. Twilight did the same when he left Mrs. Celestia allowed her to settle in her room before dinner.

She went to her room and did not cry, or whine she just sat there.

Soon she got ready in a light blue dress that Shining Amour bought her the other day before this whole mess happened. Twilight looked at the time she still had about half a hour before dinner so she decided to read some of the books Shining Amour gave her so she could read while he was away. She looked thru them until she stumbled into the new book with the magical princess. She sighed

"why not"

She read the title

"The Little Princess page 4 chapter 1 Luna"

Once upon a time in a far away place  there lived a little princess whose name was Luna. Luna's mother died when she was only 4 years old because of a heart attack so Luna and her Father had been together ever since. But now they would be separated by the war going on in aplasia. She would soon stay at a little boarding  school whom belonged to a cruel lady. Mrs. Hengan.

Twilights door opened and Mrs. Celestia was there to get Twilight for dinner.
