Living in Equestria
Chapter 3
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI felt horrible... didn't know what else to do as I listened to Applejack tear her little sister a new one for getting her cast soaking wet from the other side of the door. I didn't dare leave... not with the smell of Apple Bloom's sex heavy on my skin. I couldn't tell where it all was coming from but I was sure the older farm pony would catch it in a second on me if I went out there.
"Ah just got BACK from tha doctor, now we both gotta turn 'round and go right back! Good gravy girl, what in Equestria were you thinkin?!"
"I'm sorry Applejack... I just fergot! That's all!"
"Fergot? How could ya ferget that? I dun told ya a thousand times! It ain't right you not mindin me, Apple Bloom... you sure you're feelin alright? You look all red and flustered..."
"I'm fine!"
"Get yerself dried off. We're leavin right away ta get that cast redone. Doc says ya gotta wear it another couple weeks anywho. I'll go get Big Mac n have him pull the cart 'round for ya."
I heard Applejack's hooves descend down the stairs again, leaving me clear to open the door and go to Apple Bloom. She was a soggy mess standing in the middle of the bathroom. Her hair and mane dripping wet creating puddles on the floor. Her head was hanging down and I couldn't see her face but her midsection hitched as though she was crying. I felt responsible for the whole thing.
"Apple Bloom... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. You would have been all cleaned up if I just did what you asked me to do and Applejack would have never yelled at you." I apologized quietly to her standing in the door.
Her sides hitched again and I began to move to her to comfort her somehow. But then her head lifted and I saw a mad grin on her face. Her eyes were bulging with excitement. Was she was holding in laughter?
"That... Was... Awesome!" she said in a contained but enthusiastic voice. Her eyes sparkled with happiness. "She didn't suspect a thing!"
"Huh?" I was unsure how to handle this one. "But... she yelled at you?"
"Who cares?! She's mah sister an yells at me all the time! I so excited I get a new cast that's clean again!" she waggled the disgusting soggy mess that was wrapped around her back leg.
"So you're not mad?" I asked hopefully.
"Mad! Why would I be mad?!"
"Because... I mean..." I pointed at her, then the tub, then downstairs in confusion.
She didn't reply. She only took a couple of soggy steps towards me and wrapped a hoof around my lower thighs. Her cheek pressed into the still heavy and warm flesh in my crotch in a wet hug. There was no way she couldn't feel the swollen lump against her.
"That was better'n I'd ever thought it would be" some of that demure voice had returned.
Putting a hand on the back of her head, I held her to me for a moment, letting her wet mane dampen my clothes and relieved at how this had turned out.
"Now get outta mah way. I gotta get dried off so I kin get a new cast!"

Applejack had tried to hitch the cart up to her own yoke, but Big Mac refused to let her... wordlessly indicating the fresh wrap around her midsection. Apparently the doctor thought she needed more time to mend.
"Now you listen ta me ya big red dummy! If I say I kin pull this here cart then I say I can!"
"Eeeenope." Big Mac simply closed his eyes and shook his big, crimson head once.
This went on for a while, and grew more insistent with each exchange. By now I had washed up and no longer had the wafting scent of Apple Bloom's arousal on me. I was sitting outside on a log, propped up against the wall near the door watching the exchange between the older siblings while Apple Bloom sat by me and waited for it to get sorted out. We occasionally exchanged knowing glances at each other, the scene in the bathroom still fresh in our minds. Our eyes would meet, lock for a moment, and then she would turn red and look down again, scuffing a hoof in the dirt.
It had turned out to be a scorcher of a day. There was no breeze and the early afternoon sun was mercilessly pounding down on the dusty, dry earth with no shadows to be seen anywhere. I longed for a pair of cheap gas station sunglasses from home to cut the bright light down but at least here in the eave of the barn there was a ribbon of shade. Hot, fumy farm smells wafted by me filled with images of haystacks, tilled earth and sweat.
"Alright, ya pain in the tail! If ya wanna walk inta town with me then fine! Suit yersef! Come on Apple Bloom, quit sittin round gawkin!" Applejack waved an impatient hoof.
"See ya..." Apple Bloom gave me one more look before squishing over to her sister, leaving a damp circle from her cast in the dry earth as a trail.
"See ya" I called after her.
Applejack trotted towards me, passing her sister with a glance that wasn't returned by the younger one and pulled up short in front of me.
"Say... This day's gone ta seed for me, an... well I was really hopin ta get the new barrel of cider outta the storage shed in the west field and bring it 'round for tonight. I figure it's right about perfect by now. Would ya mind gettin it over here and up onto the keg saddle in the kitchen for me? Feel free ta tap it and give it a taste, if ya want. Ought ta be good and powerful, if ya know what I mean." she gave me a wink.
"Sure." I said. "Uh... what way is the west field?"
"Just head on over that way, straight from the barn" She gestured with her hoof directly behind me. "Shed's open... can't miss it. We'll be back in a while." She started off and then remembered something at the last second. "Oh... Granny's off at a knittin circle. She won't be home till late, just so ya know."
"Ahh.. wondered where she was." I told her.
"Alright then, see ya later." she turned and joined her siblings to leave.
Soon, I was completely alone with nothing but my own thoughts and the occasional bumble bee to keep me company.
What happened in the bathroom with Apple Bloom weighed heavy on my mind. I was excited, aroused, apprehensive and anxious all at the same time, agonizing over how I was going to tell Scootaloo about it. There was no chance in hell she wouldn't find out as soon as those two were together again, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were already talking with Scootaloo about 'sharing' me. But would Scootaloo be mad because something happened when she wasn't there?
The whole idea ran counter intuitive to everything I thought I knew about how relationships were supposed to work. When you found someone you loved, you were supposed to be faithful and true to them... at least that was what society said back home. I'd seen girls break up with their boyfriends for even looking at another girl. So how was this alright for me to be screwing around with Scootaloo's best friend?
The answer, of course, was herding. Something Rainbow Dash had explained to me back in the Everfree forest when we were gathering wood. Supposedly, when a mare felt like she had found the one true love of her life it was instinct to share that feeling of love with her closest friends by having the stallion to be with them sexually. Dash even mentioned that there was some sort of magic involved... enough that even the mare's friends might know he's the right stallion before she did. That would explain that tingling feeling I got right when things were starting to heat up in the bathroom.
Scootaloo and I had already talked about it, and of course there was a part of me that was eager to take advantage of the situation. Yet I guess the human side of me was still coming to terms with it. It was like I was diminishing the special closeness I had with Scootaloo by being with other ponies. But if this was something she was compelled to encourage me to do... then how could I refuse? I sat for quite some time watching the clouds drift by lazily thinking of the situation. A sudden urge hit me.
I didn't have a whole lot of experience with alcohol, it was hard to get when your mother was a prude and you didn't party with friends, but a cold beverage sounded really good. Maybe if I got a good buzz on I'd feel less confused about it. Applejack did say to go ahead and sample it once I'd gotten out out of the shed...
I rose from the log, wincing at how stiff and sore my wings were from the workout they'd gotten earlier in the day. I actually couldn't wait to ask Scootaloo to preen them tonight. I set off in the direction Applejack had indicated looking for the shed. The temperature dropped noticeably when I got under the shade of the west orchard and I walked pleasantly between the well manicured trees that already had large apples on them working their way towards being ripe.
Eventually I did see a building in the distance beyond the end of the orchards rows. Painted red just like the barn was, it was a good sized shed that was as large as some small houses were back home. A simple wood plank ramp led up to the large sliding door that was unlocked and it pushed aside easily along it's well oiled track. The interior was dim and dusty, stiflingly hot in the afternoon sun that baked the wood roof overhead.

Applejack's head snapped up a sudden panicked realization while walking on the road just outside of Ponyville. Her heart skipped a beat when she realized what she might have done by asking Mason to get that keg of cider. "Nah..." she told herself. "He wont go back that far..."
It did little to ease her mind.

Moving into the shadowy shed, I looked around for my target. There were several other carts similar to the one pulled by Big Mac parked in here along one wall to my left as well as a reserve stack of hay in the far corner. On the right, several barrels were clustered together in a group.
After giving my eyes a few moments to adjust to the darkness, I inspected these but they were all empty. Sweat ran down my back in streams, dripping from my armpits and and running down the crack of my ass in the sweltering shed. "Where the fuck is it, Applejack?"
I walked towards the back of the shed and looked along the far wall. The haystacks were not tight against boards but stacked up several feet in front, leaving a large space remaining where I could see a few more wooden barrels along the wall back there. Shaking my head at such a hidden place to put them, I moved down the corridor and put my hands on the first barrel, giving it a shake. It was solid and full of liquid. Bingo.
I worked to get it out from behind the haystack enogh to tip it over and roll. It fell with a heavy thump, clattering against the wood floor causing dust to cascade down in a fine shower for a moment. I took a break from the effort and moved back to the nook behind the hay to look at what else was back there.
There was only one more barrel, but a good space was left behind it and where the corner of the shed was. Peering over, I saw a blanket was laid out neatly in the dark corner with a large bundle of cloth on it. It's recent look and clean appearance seemed out of place here and it piqued my curiosity. Slipping around the barrel, I knelt onto the checkerboard pattern of the blanket to inspect the bundle, smelling hay, heat, dust... and now something else. A wild and fiery faint musk tingled my nose with recognition. When I put my hands on the bundle, there was a firm round object inside. I carefully unwrapped it and sat slack jawed looking at what I had found.
A large light blue horse cock dildo... the strap on kind... was wrapped inside the soft cloth bundle on the blanket. The thing was easily as long as my forearm, maybe longer and I wondered if that's how big they really were here or if Applejack just had a thing. I assumed it was Applejack at least... there's no way Apple Bloom played with anything this big. A brief thought of Big Mac crossed my mind. Hell, I had been known to experiment back there from time to time with small things. But it was the musky odor permeating the space that made me almost certain I'd found Applejack's hiding spot.
I stared at the sex toy dumbly for a moment, the wheels in my head were turning furiously trying to grind the scene I was seeing into a tangible thought. It was clearly meant to be strapped to a pony and that meant this was a two person event, Applejack and who else? I've never seen her with anyponies besides the group I already knew, and-
Blue.
Even in the dim light I could tell that it matched Rainbow Dash's coat almost perfectly. It had to be her. The most emotional I'd ever seen Dash was when she greeted Applejack the day she came home from the Cloudsdale hospital. I'd also noticed the way their tails had briefly twined together that evening and the closeness they sat together. It all made sense.
I no longer felt as awkward about my own situation with Scootaloo and the herding issue. If Rainbow Dash and Applejack were pleasuring themselves in this dusty, hot hidden corner of the farm secreted away from the eyes of the world then maybe the concept of sharing intimacy with friends wasn't so bad? Ponies here were just as driven by primal urges as any human I'd ever known... including myself. If an honest, hard working down to earth pony like Applejack was getting railed by Rainbow Dash...
I wrapped the toy back up carefully in the same way I'd found it, not knowing if I'd ever say anything to them... but my take on ponies and their views of sex had definitely changed.

It took me forever to get the keg half way back to the barn. The son of a bitch was heavy and didn't roll very well in the grass isle in the orchard. Several times I had to stop and take a breather before resuming the laborious task. I probably would have taken all afternoon if a familiar voice hadn't cried out my name half way back.
"Mason!!!" the voice of Scootaloo reached my ears. I looked up from another shove of the barrel to see Rainbow Dash directly ahead, slowly cruising down the orchard's row from the direction of the barn, Scootaloo on her back waving madly with a huge smile. They reached me in seconds, Scoots jumping from her back just before they reached me and buzzed her wings to glide into my open arms. She was heavy, but I was ready for her weight this time and absorbed the impact. Her front hooves wrapped around my neck and her lower legs clamped around my waist.
"Hey!" I said, happy to feel her against me and see her face. We kissed before she gave me a tight hug, giving a happy "mmmmm" in my ear as she did before dropping down in front of me. Rainbow Dash had landed close by, watching with a smile.
"You guys have been gone forever!" I remarked happily. "Where ya been?"
"Ehh.. around" She shrugged and smiled earnestly up at me. "We don't really go anywhere... just cruise and hang out, ya know?"
"Yeah, something you can't do right now..." Dash said. She stepped next to me and gave my side a friendly poke with a hoof before saying with a playful smile. "...stupid human."
'Stupid human' had become her affectionate name for me ever since the conversation in the forest. But when she said it this time, there was a feeling behind it I'd not noticed before. Maybe it was her look that said she knew something... or maybe it was because I was envisioning her with a strap on fucking Applejack.
"What's this?" Scootaloo asked, giving the barrel in front of us a poke with her hoof that thunked dully.
"A new barrel of Apple Cider I think. Applejack asked me to get it out of the shed before she left and get it set up in the kitchen."
"Left?" Scootaloo crinkled her nose. "Wasn't she gone already?"
I relayed the story of Apple Bloom's cast, leaving out a great deal of my involvement for now.
"Huh" Rainbow Dash considered. "So your telling me we have permission to crack this baby open when we get it into the barn?"
"Eeeuup" I did my best Big Mac impression. Scootaloo giggled.
"And noponies around to stop us?"
"Eeeuup"
"Then staaand back! This thing's gettin there in ten seconds flat!"
