The Young Changeling

The sun woke Roxas up from the best sleep he ever had in his life. Unfortunately his stomach started to growl reminding him he hasn't eaten in days. Usually changelings can go a week without food and not feel fell hunger depending on their health. And they don't really need to feed off love to survive, they can live just fine a pony diet really. But a benefit of feeding off love is that you become really powerful which was why chrysalis wanted to invade Cantorlot because she wasn't as powerful as she used to be. But unfortunately that decision led to demise of the changelings with only about five percent of the changelings surviving the blast and fall caused by Shinning Armor and Cadence. Since their were almost all males in the invasion. They weren't able to help protect the hives and colony's of changeling from angry predators like timber wolves and manticorns. Eventually it was every changeling for themselves. Helpless young changelings seem to have died first because any parents who tried to defend them would most certainly die along with their kids. But that only delayed the inevitable as most of them soon died later.

Lucky for Roxas, his mother was one of toughest changelings and was able to keep herself and Roxas alive a long. But luck always eventually runs out because when they were about a mile away from Cantorlot a pack of timber wolves surrounded them. Roxas's mother risked her life just so her son could escape. After he wandered off for who knows how he was eventually captured in a net with guard pony's surrounding him and dragged him to the dungeon in the castle where they told him the Prince will have a look at him and decide what to do with him. After they said that Roxas was convinced they would just kill him after remembering his mother says the pony's hate changelings and would kill them. and the rest is history from there.

There was a knock on the door and Celestia came in with a tray filled with food." I know changelings don't need love to survive, and since feeding you kind of escaped my mind, I decided to get you a big breakfast." She then laid the tray in front of him we will be leaving in a bout a hour, that should be enough time for you to get ready, don't you think."

Roxas nodded his head. " Yeah, that's enough time, thank you. Celestia then left the room only to be confronted by Luna. "Sister we have a bit of a problem."

"What is it Luna?"

Luna then sighed. " Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor are hear and they about Roxas. Not to mention that they aren't exactly in a good mood because of this.

Celstia's emotions were soon filled with worry which doesn't really happen that much. " Oh no, this could in fact be a problem. I wasn't going to tell them about Roxas until a little later but I guess I don't have that choice do I ? " Celestia said with a sigh at the end.

"Your right it's not." said a new voice. The princesses turned to see Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor. Cadence then spoke up. " your letting a changeling live amongst pony's? Do you not understand how dangerous that could be. He could be some kind of spy for all we know."

" We assure you princess Cadence, he is okay. He told us the changeling race is practically extinct by know, there is no way he is a spy."

" What if he's lying." This coming from Shining Armor. "No offence princess but you are not very good when it comes to knowing when somepony is lying or not. Let alone a changeling."

Cadence then went past the princesses and pushed open the door to Roxas's room. She saw Roxas eating a banana and pony flake. When Roxas noticed Cadence fear struck him jumping off the bed spilling the food on the floor. "Listen changeling I have some questions I need to ask you." she said sternly. But she was stopped by Luna's magic. "No Cadence, your scaring him. Trust us. Were going to send him to ponyville and we'll have twilight send us letters to see how he's doing and if there's anything suspicious he's doing, we'll confront him. Please.

Cadence hesitated for a second until she turned around and left the room. "Fine, I'll let you two do your thing. Come on Shinning we're leaving." With that the two left the castle.

"Well that could have gone better." said Celestia.

"Yeah," said Roxas coming from under the bed." no shit."
