Chapter 1: The summon
The scene opens up on Golden Oaks Library sometime during the night. Twilight was going over some books she borrowed from Princess Celestia, Her favorites involved pony genealogy, mythical spells, and math. But this one book she was reading was about dark magic. Ever since she saw Celestia do it to show her about what the crystal empire was like before it was saved she wanted to test out a spell, she's also been wanting to study more about it. She didn't realize things were going to hell after reading this page.
"Necropasa terrolina argolinta colorupit shallow" Twilight read as her horn generated dark magic, her eyes turned green as the spell was cast,Twilight felt a sharp pain in her head as she shouted before collapsing.
as she collapsed, a shadow was formed in the dark of the room, it licked it's lips before disappearing. It had big plans in store and it was out for revenge.
the next day...
Twilight opened her eyes then rubbed her head, she had the weirdest dream when she was collapsed. She was standing alone in darkness. She saw the eyes of those she defeated before, only they looked more menacing. Especially Nightmare Moon, she had the most twisted grin of them all. Soon they all chanted to her, "one of us" over and over again.
"uggh, i feels like I was hit in the head by the train." groaned Twilight as she rubbed her head before she headed to her shower.
she began to wash herself...well she tried too but or some reason, the ONLY thing she was able to think about was the dream, did it mean something? She didn't feel like washing anymore so he dried herself of and walked out of the library, Spike was asleep since the sun never rose up....wait...that isn't right! Twilight ran to Sweet Apple Acres, she needed to tell applejack that maybe Nightmare Moon is out again. but when she got to sweet apple acres...
"WHAT HAPPENED HERE?" she shouted, the barn was dismantled, the trees were wilted, Granny smith and Big machintosh had their heads down in depression.
"excuse me Granny smith?" said Twilight.
"Wahh, who that? AH DON'T HAVE ANEH BITS!" she shouted before realizing it was only Twilight, "oh mah mistaike Twilaught" she said.
"we dun't know wha happened, we jus woke up and applejack wus gone" Big Mac said to Twilight.
"But what about the farm?" asked Twilight
"We'll repair it" said Big Mac
"without Applejack?" asked Twilight
"eeeyup, we atleast ahave tuh tra" said Big mac
"I supposed if you don't need any help" sighed Twilight, maybe Applejack went to Sugar Cube Corner in order to tell Pinkie Pie that Nightmare Moon might be attacking again.
But she got the same response from the Cakes, all the baked goods were destroyed as well, so Mr. and Mrs. Cake had to make new ones. Twilight knocked on Carousel Boutique and waited, when nopony answered the door, she saw all of Rarity's clothes were torn apart, especially her lingerie Cabinet. Sweetie belle wasn't home either, chances were that she was either at her fathers house, hasn't woken up yet, or with her friends. Twilight shut the door then went to rainbow's house, luckily she memorized the clod walking spell as she teleported up to the cloud home. When she recieved no answer she opened the door on her own, she saw the inside was wrecked completely, as if there were a big fight. Desperate now, she headed to Fluttershy's cottage, she opened the door to see a crying angel bunny.
"Angel? have you seen Fluttershy?" asked Twilight she knew the Rabbit can be terrible to fluttershy but seeing him like this is just terrible. Angel bunny nodded as he did a charades bit, Twilight had trouble translating it but she managed to.
"you're saying that a shadow mare came and snatched her up?" asked Twilight, Angel nodded before acting like he was asleep. "she was snatched up in her sleep?" she asked the little bunnyy who nodded his head
"this is serious, first Applejack is missing, then Pinkie Pie, then Rainbow Dash, then Rarity, and NOW fluttershy. what's going on here?" asked twilight before angel handed her a note.
"huh? what's this?" she asked before she read over the note.
"Dear Magic, I shall thank you for releasing me from my prison, come to the castle in Canterlot for a little surprise. I also have your friends held hostage, come when you are ready Motherbucker! - ? P.S I am everywhere, yet I remain in one place." Twilight finished reading. she gasped before running out the door leaving angel behind. What nopony noticed was angel was developing a little plan of his own.
Twilight headed to the train, thankfully trains are usually always on even during the night, "Excuse me, I need an express train to canterlot STAT!" she said to the conductor, "well...all right if it's important to the princess's pupil I have no choice, get on" he said. Twilight happily got on thankful the conductor was understand as the train started to depart with her on it.
'I'm coming girls, just wait, I'LL get to the bottom of this' she thought.
Canterlot castle
Applejack was the first of the mane 5 to wake u, apparently they all were abducted in their sleep. she looked at her surroundings and saw she was in Canterlots throne room. When she looked over at the throne there was a chrysalis beside it with somepony covered in darkness sitting on the throne. The chrysalis contained Celestia.
