Meet Lyra

Lyra Heartstrings

/ˈlī(ə)r-a härt striNG-s/

A minty-green Earthpony mare from Equestria.

/ərTH,ˈpōnē/

/mer/

/əˈkwestrē-a/

She had a white and light mint colored mane, and had a golden lyre as her Cutiemark.

/Q T, mãrk/

It represented her special talent of playing the lyre, despite its extreme difficulty. Many Ponies wondered why a Pony would learn to play such an instrument, considering the obvious impediment known as 'Hooves', but Lyra just scoffed at them. Anything easy wasn't worth doing.

It was spring, Lyra’s second favorite season- because it goes before summer, her first favorite. A few rolling clouds in the sky occasionally blocked the sunlight streaming through her blinds, and the air was chill with the typical coolness that accompanies the winter's retreat, not quite cold but not quite as warm as the summer.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Her alarm clock beeped rather loudly. Her eyes slowly opened, and struggled in an effort to push that blasted snooze-button with her huge hoof. Not with small, coordinated and delicate fingers. After a long struggle, she finally decided to get up herself up and bucked the alarm away, with a consequence of her small night-side table flying out as well, which had some valuables such as her family photo and a few bits she left in there as well. She sighed.

If I had hands, I could have just picked up that stupid thing and threw it out the window, but instead I have to buck the stupid thing and make my night-side table fly away with it with my wallet! GAH!!! Why do I have to buck with hind legs and not be able to aim because I was facing the other direction!?

She had foolishly thought that that was the worst she could have gone through in her day, but then came breakfast…

She walked into her kitchen, and stood on her hind legs, intent on reaching the box of ‘Celesti-os’ on her shelf. However, due to the fact that Ponies can't stand on hind legs, she lost her balance and fell to the ground, and landed with a thud on her back.

At least I still have the cereal

She sighed once again, and stood up, with the cereal box, that was standing on the ground. She tilted her head, and picked it up the only way a Pony could; with her mouth. The moment she did, the moment she regretted it when her cereal spilled all over the floor, realizing that she left the top opened again.

She decided to settle with toast.

***

The rest of her routine was quite a long story, simply a long series of clumsiness and cursing her hooves and lack of fingers and Celestia for not giving her those. After she finally ate, she trotted to her room, eager to get started on her task. Playing the lyre may had been her special talent, but everypony has a hobby. She was an Anthropologist, obsessed with a mythical creature known as ‘Humans’.

/(h)yo͞omən/

The place she went to was filled with books on Humans, posters of Humans, and even Human figurines all over the area. And that was just the living room, I hadn’t even told you about her room yet! Once when she settled down, she started on her newest book she got from a friend.

Knock, knock, knock

Came a knock on the door. Lyra stopped her reading, half hating that she had to stop, but the other half being happy that she had a guest. She opened the door, and was not too surprised to see her friend who lived next door to her, Bon-Bon.

[iI]/'bänˌbän/

She was a Unicorn.

/'yo͞onəˌkôrn/

Whom had a tan coat with a dark purple and light purple striped curly mane, with three candies as her Cutiemark, representing her talent for candy-making.

“Oof’, ey’ fon’ fon’!” said Lyra with her book in her mouth, the moment she noticed it was she spitted it out. “What’s up?”

“Oh, I just came over to say ‘hi’ was all.” explained Bon Bon. She tilted her head, a curious look on her face. “Um... Lyra... what’s that you're reading there?” as soon as she asked, Lyra’s smile instantly grew bigger.

“Oh! It’s this new book I got from my pen-pal from that country I keep forgetting the name of! I think it might start with an ‘N’ or something... I think... I dunno’, anyway, he said he meet a real Human! A ‘Daughter of Eve’ from ‘Spare Oom’ he says!” she explained excitingly.

“Spare Oom’? I’ve never heard of that place.” Bon Bon deadpanned.

“He said the same thing!” Lyra exclaimed.

“Lyra, are you sure you're ‘Half-Goat Mann’ friend of yours is even telling the truth?"

/haf/

/ɡōt/

/man/

"I mean, come on; what if he’s just a Pony making everything up?” asked Bon Bon, still not believing a word she’s been told this week sense Lyra had first told her about her new pen-pal.

“First off; he’s a Faun!” She corrected.

/fôn/

“Second, he’s telling the truth! I have it in writing!” she finished with a protest, and snatched the letter and held it in Bon Bon’s muzzle with her teeth to prove her point. Bon Bon scanned through, then rolled her eyes.

“For Celestia’s sake, Lyra. I’ve told you; Humans don’t exist, they never even had in the first place! They’re just a made up Pony’s-Tale of some kind of evolved Monkeys that fight with swords and ride on ‘Horses’ and always wear cloths. What kind of nonsense is that!?”

Lyra looked down sadly, and whined like a puppy.

“I... I dunno’... but they’re somewhere... I just know it...”

“Lyra... will you just...- oh, forget it! It’s like I’m talking to a brick wall!” Bon Bon said frustrated. “See you later Lyra... I guess.” She left, the door closed with a blue aura from her horn.

“You know... Sometimes it feels the same way to me...” Lyra said half to herself with the fold of her arms, sticking out her tongue. She turned to her book, and attempted to open it to her exact page... but moved about ten pages every Time with her large hoof. She imagined how much easier it would be if she had fingers to turn just one page. She looked off into the distance, and sighed.

I wish I was a Human...

Scene 2:

Meet Author

Author Styles.

/'ôTHər, stīls/

A white teenage boy from England.

/'tēnˌāj, boi/ /Egal, ind/

Whom had short brown hair and wore glasses, and often a scarf and\or flap-cap. He was walking down the halls of his school

/sköol/

“Hey Mcfly!”

/Mik, fli/

Said a familiar voice with a Scottish accident behind him.

/sss K âT, Esh/

Author turned to see what was going on.

“Oh... hey Benjamin..."

/Ben, jer, m en/

"Lovely weather we’re having, hah?” Nervously answered another individual with a northern accident, shrinking down to the floor.

“Charles Mcfly,"

/Csh R ls/

"Have ya’ got me’ homework finished this week?” demanded the Scott’.

“Well, since it’s not do till’ Monday, I... I f-f-figured... um...-” explained Charles while he nervously chuckled, pulling his bow-tie. His ramble was cut short as soon as Benjamin pulled him by the tie, and knocked him on the head like how one would knock on a door.

“Hello? Hello!? Anyone home!!!?” he asked. “Think Mcfly, think! It’s Thursday, Mcfly! Monday is in three days!”

“O-o-of course.... I’ll... um... get started when I get home, after school...” said Charles.

“Duh! What else are ya’ suppose to do...?” asked Ben with a roll of his eyes. “You don’t have any other plans...” he pulled him closer, and gave him a threatening look. “DO YOU!?

“O... n-n-no, o-o-of course not, Ben’... why would I attend anything... I’ll just... do your homework... and nothing else...”

“That’s brilliant, Charles. Now make it like a tree... and get outta’ here!” He kicked Charles in the rump to make him run as fast as his legs could carry him. Author sighed, and looked away. He’ll only become a target if he did anything about it... the bell rang, and it was Time for class...

***

After school, he rode on the bus home, and walked the rest of the way home through the streets of London.

/lll un, d’un/

He had soon reached his home.

“Oh Author, your home. How was-”

“- Great.” Author interrupted his Mother, and hurried straight to his room, like he did everyday. He sat on his desk, as always, and unpacked his laptop from his backpack and turned on his favorite show on Youtube.

/U, T’U b/

As usual.

Knock, knock, knock, knock

He paused and lowered his screen when he heard his Mother knock four Times.

“Author!!! Are you okay?” asked his Mother.

“Yes, Mum’. I’m just...” Author answered with hesitation. “... doing Homework, that’s all...” he lied.

“All right... just wondering, dear.” replied his Mother. She walked down the hall of their apartment, and sighed.

I know he’s hiding something, I just simply know it! But what on Earth can it possibly be...?

He looked behind himself twice, double checking if he’s Mother showed up. But there was no sign, and he heard her step through the hall to the kitchen.

“Brilliant." he mumbled to himself before he continued, and hopped in Jesus’ holy name that no one would ever see what he was doing. He clicked, and continued his favorite series on Youtube- ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’. He sighed as he continued to watch. “If only I could join them...” he said to himself. “Look at them... always happy... mostly... no need to be cool, no need to blend in, no need to worry about bullying. Just... be yourself... oh, imagine if they saw me watching this wonderful show about friendship... they’ll only laugh at me!" he spoke to himself quietly and a bit dramatically, careful not to let his Mother overhear. He laid his head on his palm and sighed once again, and looked at the candy-colored, happy, sun-loving Ponies...

I wish I was a Pony...

Act 2:

A Wish Granted

Scene 3:

‘I’m a Girl!?’

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Came the alarm clock. Author awoke with a curious look, scratching his head.

Hah, that’s odd; I don’t own an alarm-clock, I mentally trained myself to wake myself up in the morning.

Author thought to himself. He also had a great sense of Time and didn’t need a clock, just a glance at the sun. But he checked the Time on the clock anyway.

‘10:02’!? How could I have possibly slept in!? I haven't done that in my whole LIFE!

Thought Author with a panic. But before he rushed off, he stopped instantly when he noticed another odd change.

This isn’t my room...

He noticed the unfamiliar room he was in. The walls were dark purple- well, what little of the walls he could see, that was. For the walls were covered in paintings, drawings, clay-figures, stone figures, and every single other type of visual-art one could imagine, but all had one thing in common; it was all Human. All pictures of Humans, of all kinds. Most of these Men and Women dressed in 19th century British med-ages fashion, quite strangely.

Author first thought the room belonged to a historian of some kind, mainly obsessed with The Iron Age, but saw hardly any swords or armor of any kind. Just armor worn by Humans and swords carried by Humans, most often King Author. King Author was his next guess with this person’s obsession, but then found a few wooden pose-dolls and a Vitruvian Mann poster, so he thought maybe this person was an anthropologist.

He had only spent a good five seconds staring at the walls, but had yet already invented so many theories. After he managed to answer one question to himself, the next thing he wondered was;

How did I end up in here in the first place?

He then decided to move, but that’s when things really got strange- his body just wasn’t the same. When he got out of bed, he didn’t find feet... he found hooves! He lost his balance after making the mistake of standing on them, and fell to the ground. His body felt more comfortable crawling instead of walking, so he did just that.

Wait... could I be a... no, no... it’s not possible... is it...?

He wondered. After searching down the hall, he managed to find a bathroom with a mirror just large enough to show his whole body, and what he saw was not fully, but exactly what he had thought- he was a Pony. He screamed, hearing his voice in his new body for the first Time, but it wasn’t his original voice. He cupped his mouth with a blush, noticing how it sounded a bit more high than it normally did. He checked the mirror again, and noticed something worse.

He hoped it wasn’t true, but the evidence was right there! The Human-like muzzle instead of a Stallion’s Horse-muzzle, the high voice, the mane- there was only one way to confirm this. He sat down, looked between his hind legs, and gulped, ‘it’ being just as he feared.

“I’M A GIRL!!!” He, or should I say ‘She’, yelled. Then screamed once again. It was a wish-come-true, but had a horrible, horrible catch. She couldn't even tell if this was a dream or nightmare. "Okay... breath... breath..." she told herself, using the technique Cadence taught Twilight from season 3 episode 12. She managed to calm down, and started to search for the pros and a cons.

Pro: I am finally in Equestria, just as I had always wanted.

Con: Instead of being a 'Ponified' version of myself, instead I'm some Mare.

Once when that was established, she decided to take a look at the details and figure out just who she was. She started to recognize her, in fact. She'd seen this background Pony before in many a episode. She started to rather like her new body, and even found herself tilting her head and flirted her eyes at her reflection, but then stopped, and realized just how wrong it was. Suddenly, she heard her stomach growl, so she decided to go get some breakfast.

***

Celesti-o's...?

She thought to herself as she stared at the cereal box that laid on the ground, all of it's contents spilled all over the floor. She rolled her eyes at the idea of 'Celesti-os', and didn't like the mess that laid before her. She could of sworn that it was all a prank and there were some hidden cameras somewhere, but how could she had been in a Pony body in the first place? As rubbish as it sounded, the best explanation she could have possibly thought of was rather it was an extremely realistic dream, an extreme dilution of some kind, or perhaps... magic...\

One jolly good toast (and sadly no English Muffins) later, she decided to go out and see the world. Author trotted past three blocks (she always wanted to trot), and then soon she heard a sudden voice.

"Hey Lyra." said a blue Pegasus Mare.

Peh ga, sus

The Mare had a dark blue and white striped mane and a Hourglass Cutiemark, representing her talent for keeping track of Time. Author looked behind her, expecting the Mare to be talking to some other Pony. She stood there, and smiled. "... yes, Silly-Filly; I'm talking to you." the Pony confirmed after Author placed a hoof on her own chest, gesturing 'Who, me?'. Author rarely ever got greeted in her world when she was a Human Boy.

"Oh... um... hey... um..." Author didn't talk to other Humans much, and the first thing she found herself doing was to trying to act like she knew her. A long, awkward pause with an awkward smile of Author's (he use to hardly ever smile) passed.

"... it's Colgate." she answered the silent question.

Co l, gate

"Colgate! Yes, you." replied Author and forced a nervous chuckle.

"... yeah... so, Lyra; aren't you going to your harp lessons? It thought it was every Tuesday." asked Colgate. Author, whom appeared to be 'Lyra', took a small moment to think rather to make this 'Lyra' sound insane by telling the truth that she was not Lyra, or simply play along and pretend to be her for now.

"Oh… um... I forgot! Yes, I forgot." Author chose the latter. "In fact, I think I might of forgot how to get there!" she added with a smile. Colgate raised a brow, her expression saying that she thought there was something odd about this, but shook her head and continued to smile.

"Alright then! This way..."

***

"Oh, Lyra, dear. Celestia's Grace, I almost thought you would have never made it." said a grey coated Unicorn Stallion with a calm, Hippy like voice.

/ˈstalyən/

He had a silver music note as his Cutiemark, representing his talent for music. He also had a big white beard and a messy white malate.

Author was lead to a certain house that Colgate took her too. He noticed that the room in the said building was filled with candles, with one wall filled with shelves filled with painted Celestia statues, the bottom ones appear to had gathered dust while the higher ones were still drying, and the other wall was filled with painted Luna statues, all the statues were under the two flags, one in each room. One had Celestia's Cutiemark on it, the sun. And the other, Luna's Cutiemark; the moon. She could hear light classical music, which she had found came from a record-player.

"But... Luna's Moon, where's your lyre?" he asked. She froze, realizing just what she was missing. "Oh, in Celestia's name; I'll just give you this spear." he said calmly, and levitated two lyres, one that was half yellow half dark blue, with the sun and moon on both sides, and the other was a simple silver lyre, the one he gave to Author. "Now, by Luna's Mane, lets see how much you had practiced. Let us start with the dawn of The Lament of Luna's Banishment in C.Minor." Author thought the 'Dawn' part was a rather odd way of phrasing it, but then had noticed the next problem. He had no idea what 'Lament of Luna's Banishment' was in C.Minor, nor did he know the song itself. In fact, he didn't even know how to play the lyre.

"Oh... um..." she mumbled.

"Ah... by Celestia's Beauty, you've been distracted by your Anthropology again, haven't you?" Lyra's mentor asked. Her theory about the mysterious Pony she presently was was a Anthologist was confirmed.

"Ah... yes...?" she answered.

"Ah, why in Luna's Crown do you keep obsessing with them, Lyra? They don't exist, even Princess Celestia herself confirms it."

Of course they don't exist here.

Author sarcastically thought to herself. She decided to roll with it. "For Luna's Sake, let's take it from the top." said the mentor.

***

For the rest of the day, Author had to struggle with playing an extremely small lyre with extremely large hooves. She sighed. She did like the Pony world... sort of, but the hooves were a bit of a problem. He'd never thought about how difficult their bodies worked, especially when it came to the lyre. She had a picture perfect memory to her luck, so she managed to find her way back to the home of  Pony she currently was. As soon as she had, she walked strait into bed, and fell asleep.

I miss being a Human...

Scene 5:

I'm a Colt!?

"Author... Author... Author~!! You're going to miss the bus!" said a female, Trottingham voice, whom awoken Lyra.

/ˈträtiNG ham/

"Woah... what are you-" she started to mumble, but then stopped, and cupped her mouth.

Why does my voice sound deeper...?

Lyra thought to herself. She finally opened her eyes, and saw that she wasn't in her room. The walls were rather empty, with an exception of a shelf with about three trophies and some posters with Humans on them... her eyes brightened.

"Author, are you getting ready? You've never slept in before, dear!" again said the voice. Lyra decided to get up to deal with the questions on her mind, but then found the most shocking thing in all of Equestria, quite possibly beyond; hands. She fell and screamed.

"Author, are you all right!?" asked the voice again. The door opened, and in came a female Human, who spoke with the same Trottish' accent. The Human looked right at her as if she was addressing her and not this 'Author' character. But she didn't notice that yet, instead; she gasped.

"A HUMAN!!!? Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!!

She squeaked, acting the way one would expect from a fan-Filly who got to see Sapphire Shores in person.

"Okay, Author- you have gone mad! What happened to you?" the Human asked.

"I...- is this... Spare Oom...?" Lyra asked.

    “Pardon...?”

“Spare Oom, are we in Spare Oom? I’m a Human, you're a Human- this must be Spare Oom, right?”

Not only was all this ‘Spare Oom’ rubbish sound crazy, but once when she smiled, that’s when the Human knew something was wrong.

“... o… kay...? Anyway, Author; Time for school, dear.”

“Wait, why am I going to school? I’m 16 years old!” Lyra argued. Eastwestian is an egghead.

“Sorry Author, you still have to go.” Said the Human with a shove.

    “But… I’m not Author…” Lyra protested.

“Sure you're not, darling. But I’m afraid that doesn't mean you get to skip school today. Now off you go.”

Wow… Humans are so… weird....?

Lyra thought to herself. But that was nothing compared to what was next in store for the poor Filly…

On the way there, Lyra simply couldn’t figure out how to walk yet, and the Human took it as an act, had to drag her all the way to the bus. When she had finally entered, she had finally got to see actual Humans. But before she felt the joy of seeing them, then came laughter.

“Oh my gosh, did you, like, see him get dragged by his Mom? That must be, like, so embarrassing.” said one Human.

“Wow, what a dork!” said another. Many a thing was said in mockery of her, or what appeared to be his presence. Soon came a roar of laughter. Lyra fought against a tear, then sniffed.

I… guess I looked a bit silly…

Lyra thought to himself. He puffed up his chest, and walked proudly through the bus in search for a seat.

I’m sure things can’t be worse… I am now a Human, and things are going to be okay…

Lyra encouraged himself. After attempting to find one empty seat after another, each Human turned him down, not wanting to sit next to him. Finally, he managed to find an empty seat in the way back, alone, with no Pony Human to sit with. He attempted to stay positive and remembered that it was a dream come true, even if Lyra wasn’t a Mare, or Girl, after all.

One long bus-trip later

“And if you multiply five to the third power, subtract it with twenty five, then divide with pie; what would the answer be?” asked a math teacher, a Human elderly woman with a long white mane. Lyra ended up trapped in a Human class, and through the whole lesson, she desperately hoped for a way out. “Author, you solved the last equation, and almost every equation before it. So as always, you go first- what do you conclude the answer may be?” Lyra was at first relieved that the teacher summoned this ‘Author’ and not him, but then every Human turned to his. He gulped, remembering that Author was her.

“Oh… um… w-well…” he stuttered. “I… don’t… know…?” he slowly asked with a nervous smile.

“Oh, for heavens sake- how come you simply ‘don’t know’? You have been wrong before on a occasion or two on your answers, either way you usually answer right away. Why do you simply say you ‘don’t know’ instead of giving me a real answer right away this Time?” the teacher asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Look, I’m not Author! I’m not even originally a Human!” Lyra protested.

“Likely story.” sarcastically replied the teacher. All the other students laughed, and they were all nerds.

The rest of class was quite the disaster, but that still wasn’t the worse that could happen. When he wandered through the class hall, he detected trouble.

“So, Charles- do ya’ got me’ homework finish yet!?”

    “Well… um… I-I-I’m sorry, Benjamin- it’s just I was… well…-”

“For God sake, Mcfly- spit it out already! You weren't busy with anything last night… right?”

    “Well… um… I… I… Iwasatmysister’sbalay!

“WHAT!? I TOLD YA’ YOU CHOULDN’T OF DONE SOMETHIN’ ELSE BESIDES ME’ HOMEWORK!!!”

If there was one thing Lyra, including anypony else in Ponyville, didn’t like; it was a bully.

“Hey! Why won’t you pick on someone your own size, you big dummy!” Lyra yelled, and stood in between the bully, Benjamin and the victim, Charles- but regretted it soon after.

“Oi, what did you said to me!?” exclaimed the Ben.

“Oh… um… n-n-nothing… I… um…” Lyra tried to back away, but then came a ginger Human wearing sun-glasses to black his way.

“Nobody, and I mean no body stands up to me…-”

“O-o-oh… um… sorry, I’ll just… go… and keep it that way… and… um…” Lyra continued to attempt to sneak her way out, but was blocked by more Human boys.

“-... and gets away with it.” Benjamin finished. Lyra gulped, and shrunk. He closed his eyes as the shadows start to cover him ever more as he was soon surrounded by the Humans.

***

Lyra managed to pull his head out of a toilet, as ridiculous as it sounds. He looked in the mirror, and saw not only how wet his face was, and how swollen his eye was, but finally his face all together. If only he could have saw himself before the events that just took place. He sighed, and walked out. He saw that no one else was around, and assumed that everyone must of left home. He decided to leave as well, and discovered the bus leaving without him…

After wandering for hours, he found that he did not know where this ‘Author’ even lived. He sighed, and walked down a dark dead end of the huge maze that reminded him of Trottingham, and eventually he cried himself to sleep in a corner with five or six newspapers from a huge dumpster he found as a blanket.

I miss being a Pony…

Act 3:

Home Sweet Home

Scene 6:

Back in London

Author slowly awoken, and at first was surprised to find tears in his eyes, but thought he must of missed home that much. She opened her eyes, and found herself in yet another area. This Time, it was a dark ally, and she was sleeping in newspapers. She wondered what body she was in this Time, but then found his normal clothes and hands on his body, and found a reflection on a small puddle. She smiled, a smile she hadn’t had in years. Another thing she ended up doing that she normally didn’t do was dancing, happy to be herself again, and to be Male again.

When she, or should I say he, walked out and found his way home, he found himself being embraced by his Mother.

“Oh Author! I thought you were lost! You were acting weird yestd I hadn’t saw you all night!” instead of feeling awkward like he normally would in a situation like this, he simply continued to smile instead and hugged back.

“You have no idea what I just went through Mum’… and probably wouldn’t believe either.” he said.

“Oh, but you simply must explain! Where did you even sleep last night, dear?” His Mother insisted.

“Well… apparently I woke up in a alley with a bunch of newspapers…” he explained.

“Why, how did you end up there? Doesn't the bus usually take you home?” his Mother asked.

“Actually, I have to walk home Everytime.” he said.

“But… why…?” she asked. Author sighed, used the breathing technique, and decided to finally tell the whole truth.

Scene 7:

Back in Ponyville

Lyra awoke, ready to see what other horrors and cruelness awaited him in Spare Oom… but instead, he found himself in his old room again.

“M-m-my… roo-” before he finished, he cupped his mouth. He swiftly made his way to his bathroom, and saw not a Human Boy in the reflection, but found his beautiful, young, clever, feminine self. So no longer was he a ‘he’ again, but a ‘she’ once more. She hopped through the house and praised with joy, and hopped through Ponyville as everypony looked at her oddly.

    “Lyra…?” asked a familiar voice.

“Why are you hopping around like… Pinkie Pie, or something?” asked another.

“Bon Bon! Colgate!” Lyra said before she hugged them both. “I missed you both sooooo much!” she exclaimed.

“Um… we miss you too… I guess…?” Colgate slowly said.

“Um… it’s only been two days…?” deadpanned Bon Bon. But Lyra didn’t care. From that moment forth, she decided that instead of wishing for hands, instead she decided to simply make do with them. Being an Earthpony didn’t mean she had no magic, for she could be able to do so much more with her hooves than she thought. She could play the lyre for Celestia’s sake! She cherished every moment she was in Equestria as a Pony from that day forward, and even asked Spike, Twilight Sparkle’s family, to write a letter to the Princess about her new lesson on Friendship.

January 24th, 2015:

It’s been awhile since I had an entry in my old journal, for nothing had ever happened in my life. But that all changes, for today- I found myself in an alley sleeping in newspapers, and may or may not had a dream about waking up in Ponyville (if only Luna was there). That was the last straw for my Mother when I finally decided to tell the truth, and got the school to kick out the school bully at last! I now cherish every moment I have with my family, and I finally decided to start making friends, the first and closest one being Charles Mcfly.

For now on, I finally have a use for my journal, for I had finally decided to stop being a closet Brony and enjoy the world around me for a change. I even decided to tell everyone I know, and somehow got half of the school to not only try, but also like the show as well. Today I had learned that I should take chances, and not hide and do nothing, or else I’ll simply just miss the rest of my life and have it wasted.

Dear Princess Celestia;

Today I’ve learned not to expect life to be better if you change it, because even know the life you have may have it’s issues, but so does any other life. I learned to embrace who you are and what you are, because we’re all set in our places for a reason.

Your humble subject,
