Chapters Terror With the Bear
By Zombiehunter4579 and Everyday We Shufflin
It was a normal day in Ponyville, not much was going on, ponies were going through their daily routine, but there was one thing that was different. Near the center of town was a restaurant, it was very well know, it was called Freddy’s Pizzeria, it had been there for many years, and it would most likely be there for many more, and the owners had taken out an add in the paper, an add that would change the life of one pink pony.
Inside another restaurant, a pink mare, know throughout the town as Pinkie Pie was looking through the newspaper, though she loved her job at Sugarcube Corner, that was also where she lived, but she needed more money, you can’t play bills with happiness and smiles, Pinkie learned that the hard way, she was left with no other choice, she had to take a second job.
“Ugh, why is this so hard?!” Pinkie said to herself, because of the economy, most places in town weren't hiring, leaving her with few options, and out of those options, she couldn't find one job that was any good, she was just about to give up, but then she found an ad that said.
“Looking for a security guard to work at Freddy’s Pizzeria, no experience necessary, pay is 25 bits an hour-” That was all the Pinkie read before she rushed out, heading to the pizzeria, perhaps it would have been better if she read the whole thing, because the last bit of the add said “Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is not responsible for injuries and/or death.”
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interview was a piece of cake, or would it be pizza in this case. In less than 20 minutes she had gotten the job, she would start right away, and though she was told to go get some sleep before starting her shift, she was too excited to get any sleep, she would work from 12 AM to 6 AM, and her job was simple, she was to flip though the cameras on a pad that she was given and to make sure nothing got in or out, Pinkie didn't understand what they meant by ‘or out’ but she assumed it was some kind of joke, she was then taken to her office, but on the way there, she was a giant bear, bunny, and chick standing on the stage, these were the pizzeria mascots, Freddy, Bonny, and Chica, there were a few things that caught her eye, one was called Pirate's Cove, it was part of the dinning area, however Pinkie couldn't see in it because it had a curtain covering it, the only there was also a sing on it that read "Out Of Order ', the next thing that she noticed was a room was labeled The Basement, Employees Only , Pinkie didn't understand why this place had a basement, but she didn't feel like asking the pony who was showing her to her office what that room was for, and the last thing was that this place didn't have a lot of ponies in it, just a few families and the employees. Not long after that, they had reached the office.
There wasn't anything special about this room, it looked like any other room, there were some monitors in the room, a desk light, a fan, some posters on the wall, and a chair, the pony informed Pinkie that the pizzeria was going though some money problems, and because of this there was a limit on the power that she could use, so she’d have to manage the amount of power she’d use, they were about to leave when Pinkie saw two buttons near the doorway, one was called Light, and the other Door, she was going to ask the pony what they meant, but he had already left, so she decided to test them out on her shift, Pinkie had a few hours before her shift started, so she decided to go play with her friends until then, and as she left, she decided to say goodbye to the animatronics.
“Bye guys, see you in a few hours.” Pinkie said, she then walked towards the exit, but just before she left the pizzeria, she looked back at the animatronics, and she could have sworn that there heads had moved, making it look like they were watching her.

The time was now 11:57 AM and Pinkie had just arrived at the pizzeria, ready to do her first shift as security guard, she walked to the office and did something that she had wanted to do, try out those two buttons that were on both doorways, the one called Light turned on a light outside the doorway, and the one called Door made a giant metal door drop from the top of the doorway, now that those questions were answered, she could do her job in peace, until a phone rang in the office.
Pinkie started to look for the phone, but the answering machine beat her to it
“Hello? Hello?, Are you there?” At this point, Pinkie found the phone, and was about to pick it up so she could talk to the stallion on the other side, but just before she did, the pony said something that scared her a little bit, “Oh dear, did they get you already?”
Pinkie then picked up the phone and said “Hello?”
“Oh good, you’re still alive.” The pony replied.
“Who are you?”
“My name is Lightning Storm, I work the security guard shift before you, and I wanted to call you to tell you what to expect in this job.”
“Aw, that’s nice of you.”
“Yes well, there isn't much to worry about, no pony has ever robbed this place, and I don’t think any pony ever will, the place is a restaurant so there really isn't much to steal, but don’t let your guard down, because your life is on the line.”
“Why?”
“Because the animatronics in this place have a tendency to move around at night, I’m told it’s because they have a free roam mode that’s no longer used, and if it stays off for too long their servos freezes up, so the animatronics have been programmed to walk around during the night, they used to be able to walk around during the day, but they stopped doing that after the bite of 87. You have to find it amazing that the pony body can survive without the frontal lobe of the brain. Anyway, if those animatronics see you, they're not going to see you as a pony, but as a metal skeleton without it’s suit on, and that’s against the rules, so they’re going to shove you into a animatronics suit. Now this wouldn’t be so bad, but the suits have a lot of beams and wires in the suits, especially in the head, and being shoved into one of them is most likely going to be fatal, in fact I've heard that all they’ll find is your eyes and teeth. Anyway I’m going to hang up because I’m 90% sure that you’re not looking at the cameras, which isn't a good thing to do, but before I do, you should check in on Pirate’s Cove, there’s an animatronic in there who will only move if you don’t check up on him, and if you survive the night, call me so that I know you’re ok, good luck, Celestia knows you’ll need it.” It was then that Lightning hung up.
Pinkie didn't move for a bit, she was in shock from what Lightning just said, but then she came to her senses and turned on her pad to check on the animatronics, only to be horrified when she saw that Bonnie wasn't on the stage.
Pinkie was freaked out by this, she switched cameras to Pirates Cove, then to the bathrooms, then to the dining hall, where she saw the silhouette of the animatronic rabbit. Pinkie quickly grabbed her flashlight, turned it on, and went down to the dining hall.
Pinkie looked all over the hall, but didn't find any bunny. She pointed the flashlight towards the stage to find Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica all still there.
Pinkie gulped, and started to move towards the animatronics, and stopped, half way across the first row of tables. She started to sweat, looking at the creatures, “Oh, please be a joke. Just a harmless joke.” Pinkie started to back up, and saw purple curtains to her left. She shun the light at it. Wondering just what was behind those curtains. She walked towards the cove, breathing lightly, just in case there was something bad behind there.
She got closer, and reached a hoof out to grab it, but her chest touched the red rope that prevented ponies from crossing. But Pinkie didn’t see it as a rope, she thought one of the creatures was both very fury, and grabbing her. It was the only logical conclusion her mind could come up with. She quickly ran to the left, down the hall, into the security room, and pressed the buttons to close both doors. They slammed shut, with a loud clank. Pinkie didn't realize that these doors weren't just any normal doors before now. These were made to keep these things out.
Pinkie breathed heavily, now that she was safe, she didn't have to worry about the animatronics.
Pinkie turned to the screen to see all animatronics still on the stage, and she looked at the corner of the screen to find words that said ‘Power: 80%’ but it soon dropped to ‘79%’ and continued to ‘76’ before Pinkie opened the doors and they stopped decreasing, for the most part.
“I’m working in hell.” Pinkie said, shaking.
Pinkie knew that the only way she would get out of this nightmare alive was if she kept the pad close to her, that way she could see those animatronics before they saw her and…. Well, she didn't want to think about that.
Pinkie checked the cameras and saw that Bonnie had once again left the stage, he couldn't have gotten far so she checked the dining area, only to scream and drop the pad, all the camera showed was Bonnie’s face, with barely visible, glowing red eyes.
When Pinkie gained the courage to look at the pad again, but this time, there was nothing on the screen but the words “Camera feed unavailable.” Bonnie had disabled the camera.
“That’s not fair!” Pinkie yelled, she was both mad and afraid, and then, as if it were a reply to what she just said, she heard a laugh come from the front of the pizzeria, if it’s goal was to freak Pinkie out, then it did it’s job.
Pinkie checked the time to see how much longer she had to be in this hell, it was 1:37 AM, her shift wasn't even half way done.
Pinkie checked the camera’s again, nothing had changed, except Bonnie had moved to the maintenance room, Pinkie knew that if those things got to her, that would be the room where it all ended, Pinkie then checked the stage, only to find out that Chica was gone.
Pinkie nearly screamed, but she covered her mouth, before she could let one out. Pinkie quickly checked the dining area, where she saw Chica of one side of the tables, looking straight at Pinkie, with her mouth open, almost like she was smiling.
“OH NO!” Pinkie yelled, “No! NO! NO!” She then realizes that she shouldn't yell so loud, she hushed down.
Pinkie quickly flipped through the cameras, looking for Bonnie. She found him in the west hall, but she could barely see him, he was just a silhouette, in a dark hallway.
Pinkie reached for the door, closing it. That was too close for her tastes.
Pinkie checked the camera’s again, Bonnie hadn't moved, Chica had gone into the restroom, which made Pinkie briefly wonder why there was a camera in the restroom, well to be fair, it was outside the restroom, but still, it didn't make sense, and Freddy was still on the stage, so far, everything was ok, but then she remembered something, Lightning had told her to keep an eye on Pirate’s Cove, something she hadn't done.
She checked Pirate’s Cove, only to see a curtain blocking it, along with a sign that read “Out Of Order.”
Pinkie let out a sigh of relief, everything was ok, or at least as ok as they could get, she did another sweep of the camera’s and found that Bonnie had moved, she opened the door to save power, and continued to look through the camera’s, but when she got to Pirate’s Cove, she thought she saw a figure duck down from the bottom part of the screen, she couldn't get a good look at it, but from what she saw, it looked like it didn't have a costume on, Pinkie thought it was her mind playing a trick, and switched the camera feed to the party room, only to see Bonnie's face on the screen
Needless to say, Pinkie almost let out another scream, but kept it contained.
Pinkie then heard pots and pans banging in the kitchen. Pinkie quickly flipped the security camera over to the kitchen, but all she saw was a blurry screen.
“Huh?” Pinkie raised a brow, why couldn't she see anything in there?
Pinkie flipped the screen to the dining hall, and back to the kitchen. Still blurry.
“Why?” Pinkie looked at the clock, ‘5:39’ she could get through this. Pinkie leaned up against the light switch, by accident, and a bright light flashed through the hall, and she saw the face of Bonnie staring into the room. Pinkie couldn't resist, and screamed in fear. Pinkie quickly closed the door.
Pinkie backed away, slowly, and bumped into the other door light, to find that Chica was in the hallway, to her right, staring at her through the window.
Pinkie quickly closed the other door, she was safe, neither one of them could get in, she was going to make, she was going to live.
But Pinkie had failed to keep track of the power limit she had, and just when she thought she was safe, the power went out, leaving Pinkie in the dark, to make things worse, the doors had gone back up, and anything could get in.
Barely a minute passed before Pinkie heard a voice say, “Did you really think you could hide forever?” Then a haunting melody started to play, the source of the noise was coming from her left, she looked over only to see Freddy’s face, it was some how being lit up by something, but Pinkie didn't care, this was it, her life was about to end, all because she made a horrible job choice, Pinkie couldn't look at that face anymore, and she closed her eyes, hoping that it would all be over soon.
But then, as if something was watching over her, the song stopped, and nothing happened, Pinkie opened her eyes, thinking that she would see Freddy’s face, but he wasn't there, she looked at the clock, the only thing that didn't go out with the power, and saw that it was 6.AM, Pinkie ran out of the pizzeria, she kept running until she was at her house, she laid on her bed, but sleep never came.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The next day Pinkie got up from her bed and made herself breakfast, as she ate it, she remembered that Lightning wanted to talk to her if she lived through the night, she remembered the number that appeared on the caller ID when he called her, so she grabbed her phone, and dialed the number, and after a few rings, Lightning answered.
“Hello?” He said.
“Hi, it’s Pinkie, the guard you were talking to last night.” She replied.
“Oh, hey! You survived your first night.”
“Yeah, my first and last night at that place.” Pinkie said.
“What?”
“There’s no way I’m going back to that place! I’m not risking my life like that.”
“I know what you’re thinking, believe me, I had those thoughts after I got though my first night, but I’m still working there.”
“Well you didn't almost get killed by one of those things.”
“Not true, my first night, one of those thing got me and dragged me into the main entrance room, they got the mask and almost shoved me into it, if I didn't fight back and get myself lose, I wouldn't be here .”
“Then why did you come back?”
“Two reasons, one is that there aren't many places that are hiring, if I don’t work there, I won’t be able to keep my house and get food, and two, I don’t want some other pony to have to go through what we went though, we survived the first night, that means we can keep those things away, other might not be so lucky.”
Pinkie didn't reply for a bit, but after a minute of silence she said “I guess I’ll keep working there.”
“It’s not too bad, you just need to worry about the Forgotten Ones.”
“The what?” Pinkie asked.
“Well, Freddy’s Pizzeria has been open for a long time, and most ponies only know about Bonnie Freddy, and Chica, there were others, but due to various reasons, they were removed from the spotlight, and instead of being thrown away, their all placed in the basement, well one isn’t but the rest are, anyway all of them are fully functional give or take a few bugs, and sometimes they go online and walk out into the pizzeria, unless it’s Foxy, the guy in Pirate’s Cove, and the mascot responsible for The Bite of 87, he was left up there, and goes online and offline, so just do like I said and you’ll be fine.” Lightning answered.
“How do you know all this stuff?”
“I've done research on these things and studied how they work at night, I suggest you do the same, but until you're ready, I’ll call you when your shift starts to let you know if anything new has happened, now as much as I love to talk to you, I have to get going, talk to you tonight, bye.” And then Lightning hung up.
Pinkie wasn't looking forward for her shift, but it was something she’d have to do, but at least she wasn't alone in this.
Night had come over the town, and while most most ponies were going to sleep, Pinkie wasn't, right now, she was standing outside Freddy’s Pizzeria, her shift was about to start, but unlike the last time, she wasn't looking forward to it, in fact she was terrified, she knew what was going to happen, but she knew that she had to go there, or some other pony would end up, and she didn't want that to happen.
Pinkie walked into the pizzeria, and ran into the security guard room. She didn't think that the animatronics would try to catch her for some reason, but she wasn't going to take her chances. she sat down in the chair and grabbed the pad. Just as she did that, the phone rang.
Pinkie quickly answered the phone and said, “Hello, Lightning.”
“Hi Pinkie.” He replied.
“So, what can you tell me?” Pinkie said as she started to flip through the camera’s, making sure that none of the animatronics had moved.
“Well, not much, check the camera’s and Pirate’s Cove, close the doors only when you need too. Oh, I forgot to tell you something last night, you see, the camera’s outside of the room have a blind spot, and that blind spot is right outside the door, so if you can’t find an animatronic, turn on the door light, because you might only have a few seconds to react. Also, one of the Forgotten Ones has come online, I think his name is Bucky The Bull, I’d explain more about him but I don’t want to take to much of your time, all you need to know is that he has a very eraddic way of moving, and he yells things out all the time, so if you hear the basement door open and close, that means he’s in the pizzeria, anyway, I have to go bye.” And with that, Lightning hung up.
“No! Wait! I... AARGH!” Pinkie smashed her head against the phone, “I swear, next time he hangs up on me, I’ll throttle him with the phone!”
Pinkie checked the stage, Bonnie, Chica, and Freddie were still on stage. She went on to check Pirates Cove, the curtains were slightly open, but not by much. Pinkie continued to check through these two cameras, they barely changed, although Pinkie could have swore she saw the animatronics heads looking at the camera. Weather or not they actually did didn't really matter to Pinkie.
Pinkie then heard a creek of a door, she checked to see if the characters were all still there, thankfully, they were.
“Wait...” Pinkie did a quick checkup around the cameras, and saw in the backstage room that there was a animatronic in the corner of the room. Pinkie checked the main stage, the characters were all there, and she checked Pirates Cove, Foxy was still there.
She checked back with the animatronic in the backstage room, it was still there.
“Hello, Bucky.” Pinkie said, though she was scared, there was confidence in her voice. She could outsmart this guy, after all, he’s only a bull.
Pinkie started to relax, if they scrapped this animatronic, that means there was something wrong with him, who knows, maybe this animatronic could barely move, Pinkie let out a small chuckle at this thought, she then went back to checking the camera’s and making sure she didn't use too much power, but when she went back to the backstage room, Bucky had moved, she checked the rooms that were near it, and found him in the hallway, she then went back to looking for the other animatronics, and when she checked the camera that was right outside the west side of the security room, she she saw Bucky standing outside the door, but unlike the other animatronics, it didn't look like he was looking at the camera, it looked like he was looking at a wall, but then Pinkie realized that there was a window into the room, and given the position of the camera and where Bucky was looking, he would be looking into the room.
Pinkie quickly hit the button to close the door, that was a little close for comfort, but the one thing that stuck out in her mind, was how did he get there so fast, maybe she should worry about the Forgotten Ones, they seem to be smarter than they look.
Pinkie looked at the time, 2.AM already. Aside from the bull outside, the night shouldn't be all too bad. Pinkie looked at the camera, only to find Chica gone.
“RRGH! I hate you chicken!” Pinkie yelled.
Pinkie checked the lights to see if Bucky was gone, thankfully, he was.
Pinkie heard pots and pans banging in the kitchen, “Found Chica.” Pinkie said, going back to her routine of looking for Bucky.
Bucky moved back to the maintenance closet. Pinkie checked the dining hall, and saw the bunny bastard himself, Bonnie, standing in the middle of two tables.
“No. No! NO!” Pinkie shouted, gritting her teeth, “This is so hard!”
Pinkie then switched the feed to the dinning room, and saw something running to the left side of the camera and off screen, Pinkie didn't get a good look at it, but from what she could see, it looked like it was made of metal, this brought back the thing she saw at Pirate's Cove the last night, she checked the room nearby to try and find whatever it was, but she couldn't find anything.
Pinkie then heard humming coming from Pirate’s Cove.
Pinkie quickly switched over to Pirate’s Cove, where she saw Foxy, who was now out of Pirate’s Cove, and looking down the west hall, Pinkie made a note to herself that she should check Pirate’s Cove more often, and then, she heard a voice yell.
“FUN DIP!” Pinkie had no idea what this had to do with anything, or who yelled it out, until she remembered that Lightning had told her that Bucky yelled things out at random, and Pinkie guess that Bucky liked Fun Dip.
Pinkie then went through another camera swipe, Chica had move to the east hall entrance, Bonnie was for some odd reason in the supply closet, which made Pinkie wonder why there was a camera in there, she guessed that the pizzeria really wanted to make sure nothing was taken. and Bucky was in the dining area, and from what Pinkie could see, he was holding a packet of Fun Dip, where he got it, Pinkie would never know.
Pinkie then went to check out Pirate’s Cove, but other than an open curtain, there was nothing, but she thought she heard something moving in her direction, so she checked the west hall entrance camera, only to see Foxy run past the camera, Pinkie immediately knew that Foxy was running to her room, she quickly got up to press the button to close the door, but just as she reached out to press the button, she lost her balance, and fell out of the room, where she saw Foxy running as fast as he could towards her, Pinkie quickly got up, ran back into the room, and shut the door just before Foxy could get in, preventing him from getting inside, this didn't stop him from hitting the door a few time, he then look through the window, right at Pinkie, and said, “I’ll be back Lassy, and next time, you won’t be so lucky.” Then Foxy ran off, back to Pirate’s Cove.
Pinkie looked at the clock, 4:39.AM. She looked at her power, 27%.
“Few! Alright, Pinkie. You can do this!” Pinkie said, “Just an hour and a half to go.”
Pinkie looked around, and saw Chica in the camera right outside her door. Pinkie raised her right hoof, and swung it right at the door button.
The right door slammed shut, and Pinkie went back to looking for the others. She saw Bucky in the dining hall, but couldn't find Bonnie.
Pinkie pushed the light on the left side of the door, and saw the giant blue face of the bunny.
“Hello.” Pinkie said, jokingly, and she closed the door, so that it couldn't get in the room, “Goodbye.”
Pinkie realized that she was loosing power, fast. She checked the light and camera to see if Chica was still there. Pinkie didn't see the bird in the window, and opened it.
Pinkie looked and she saw that a bunch of power had been lost from closing both doors.
Pinkie checked to see if Bonnie was still there. He was.
“Just leave!” Pinkie yelled, and clicked the lights again, he was still there, “C’mon! Just leave!” She kept trying, but the bunny wouldn't go away, “OH FOR CELESTIA’S SAKE! JUST LEAVE ALREADY!”
During this time, Pinkie wasn't checking the camera’s, something that by now, she should have known was a very bad thing to do, and after yelling at Bonnie to leave, she gave up and checked the camera’s, Bonnie hadn't moved, much to Pinkie’s dismay,Freddy was still on stage, Foxy was still in Pirate’s Cove, Chica was at the restrooms, but there was one animatronic she couldn't find, Bucky, when she realized this, she moved over to look at the door, and reached her hoof to turn on the light, but just as her hoof reached the button, it was grabbed by a cold, metal, hand.
Pinkie didn't have any time to react, Bucky started to pull her out of the room and into the dark, Pinkie started to pull away from him, but Bucky’s grip held firm, it was the most terrifying game of tug of war Pinkie had ever been in, and as this was going on, she heard Bucky say something, it was mumbled at first, but as this went on, his voice became more clearer and louder, he was repeating the same phrase over and over, “You could have repaired me, you could have repaired me, you could have repaired me!”
It was at this point that Pinkie realized that without help, she couldn't get out of Bucky’s grip. But then, she saw the one chance she had to escape, on the desk, laid a packet of Fun Dip. Pinkie reached out to grab it, as the animatronic she kept trying to get the packet, and after what felt like an entreaty, she managed to grab it, and held it out for Bucky to see. The second he saw it, all of his attention was on it, Pinkie then threw the packet as far as she could, and Bucky let go of Pinkie, and ran after the Fun Dip. Pinkie then quickly shut the door, once again, she barely escaped her death.
Pinkie looked at the clock 5:56.AM with 3% power left.
“Oh man!” Pinkie tapped her hoof, waiting for the time to change to 6:00.AM.
She looked at the camera, and found out that Bonnie and Chica were right outside her doors.
“RRRRRGH!” Pinkie gritted her teeth. And pushed the light for the right door, and Chica was once again, staring at her through the window. “OH COME ON!” Pinkie closed the door, and backed up to the corner, anticipating the clock to change hours, or the power to run out.
5:59.AM. 1% power.
“CHANGE! CHANGE! CHANGE! CHANGE! CHANGE!” Pinkie shouted, at the clock, when suddenly, the power ran out.
Pinkie waited for the characters to kill her already, but it never came.
“Huh?” Pinkie walked out the left door, and down the hallway, going into the dining hall, where all the characters were back to their normal positions. And Bucky presumably down in the basement.
Pinkie just walked around the dining area for a few minutes, checking the place out.
“What happened here to make you guys do this?” Pinkie asked the characters on the stage, “Whatever it is, I promise to find out.”
Suddenly, she heard the door open, and a mare walked in. This mare was the manager of the place.
“What are you still doing here?” She asked, “I thought for sure you would have left this place by now.” She looked at the animatronics, “Most ponies do. And for good reason.”
“I know, I should be running out of this place, but there’s something going on here.”
“Yes, I’m fully aware of what those things do, and I’ll tell you what I tell all the guards, there’s nothing I can do about it, I’ve tried to talk to them, and they won’t do anything, mainly because they don’t believe me.”
“No, not that, I mean there’s a reason why they’re doing this, and I want to know why.”
“Well I can’t help you out there.”
“I guess I’ll have to talk to Lightning abou-” Pinkie started to say, but was cut off by the mare.
“Lightning has been talking to you?!”
“Yeah.”
“What did he tell you?”
“Not much, he just told me how to survive here.”
“Ok, from now on, don’t talk him, he’s crazy, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he had something to do with all of this.”
“You can’t be serious.”
“He’s obsessed with all of this, he keeps coming up with crazy theories, and he won’t stop even when I ask him, so do yourself a favor, don’t listen to what he has to say.”
Now Pinkie was caught between a rock and a hard place, true Lightning did have crazy theories, and he always would hang up before she had a chance to ask him questions, but he did seem to care about her, giving her information that if she didn't have, she would have died, and he wanted to talk with her after the first night to know if she survived, she didn't know if Lightning was a bad guy or a good guy anymore.
Pinkie left the restaurant afterwards, and went home to Sugarcube Corner to get sleep.
She woke up at 9:00 AM, hearing the phone ring. She reached for it, trying to grab it, and fell off the bed. She got up and answered with a yawn and a sleepy, “Hello?”
“Hey! Great to hear your voice again!” Lightning said on the other line, this woke Pinkie up.
“Oh, hi Lightning.” Pinkie sat back on her bed, worried about what was going to happen next.
“Look,” Lightning started, “I know you're scared, but think of it like this, soldiers put their lives on the line every time they go into battle, it’s not that big of a deal.”
“Well at least they have a way of fighting back.” Pinkie grumbled.
“Look, It’ll be alright. But I have something to tell you. But are you curious with what is going on? The last guard I talked to didn't really take kindly to me telling him about these things.”
“What do you mean, last guard?” Pinkie asked, “I thought you were the last one before me.”
“Never mind about that. But, are you curious in hearing what I think is happening there or not?”
“Uuum.” Pinkie thought about this, and remembered about what the manager said, “Lets save those details for later.”
“Oh, ok.”
“Why are you calling me?”
“Because I wanted to know if you’re ok, I remember when I was in your place, I would have loved to have somepony to talk too.”
“Thanks, but why do you hang up on me? I do have questions to ask you.”
“Yeah, sorry about that, I just don’t want to keep you on the phone for too long, it could be a big enough of a distraction to allow an animatronic into the room and…. Well, you know what happens.”
“Yeah.” Pinkie agreed, “Well, if that's all, I’m just going to hang up.”
“Well, nothing else I have to talk about. Bye.” Lightning hung up.
“I am soooo going to research what’s going on there.” Pinkie said.
Once again, night had fallen over Ponyville, and Pinkie once again stood at the entrance to Freddy’s Pizzeria, she was still afraid to go inside, but she was also wondering about a few things, why didn't the animatronics try to kill her when she entered or left the pizzeria, why were the animatronics acting this way, why was Bucky The Bull scraped, why did Bucky have an obsession with Fun Dip, who were the other Forgotten Ones, but the main question that stuck in her mind the most, was if Lightning was really her friend.
Pinkie knew that she wouldn't get the answers to any of these questions by standing outside of the pizzeria, so she entered it, she knew that for some reason the animatronics would try to kill her until either her shift started, or she got to her room, but she didn't want to waste time, and walked to the security room as fast as she could, once she got into it, it wasn't long before the phone rang.
Pinkie quickly answered the phone and said “Hi Lightning, what’s going on in here today?”
“Well, not much has changed.” Lightning started to say, “Other than what you already know, there isn't much to say, other then that Bucky is still online, and will be joining you soon along with another Forgotten One, the new one is called Sparky The Dog, you really don’t need to worry about him, he doesn't go to the security room a lot, other than that, I think you’re good to go.”
“Hey Lightning, can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Well, I've haven’t seen Freddy move of the stage, except one time when the lights went out, does he ever leave the stage?”
“He does, most of the time he moves off stage when the lights go out, but I have seen him move with the lights on, is that all you wanted to ask me?”
“Yep, that's it.”
“Ok, well, I’ll leave you too your work, good luck.” And with that Lightning hung up.
“Well, it looks like you guys won’t come off stage for a while, so I might as well get a bit of reading done.” Pinkie said to the animatronics, and she picked up a book she had brought over, and began reading it, she kept checking on the animatronics, and found that she couldn't double task, and after about five minutes, Chica was gone, “OH COME ON! It hasn't even been an hour yet!” Pinkie yelled, then flipped through the cameras, to find Chica in the Dining hall. “I swear! If you wouldn't shove me in a suit first sign of me, I would so try and reason with you!”
Pinkie started checking the other cameras, only to see Foxy nearly out of his curtain.
“WHAT THE HECK FOXY?!” Pinkie shouted, “I leave for two minutes, and you’re already, RRRRGH!!!! Ugh, forget it, forget it. It’s not your fault. It really is mine. And I’m sorry for that, y’know. So, why can’t we just drop the hatchet, and become best buddies? You, and me, together. We can rule this pizzeria. We can be the greatest pizzeria tyrants ever. Just you, and me, ruling over this place! And-” Pinkie shook her head, “Oh don’t give me that look Foxy! This is the only form of entertainment I have around here!”
Foxy didn't reply to any of this, and how could he, he was in a different room at the other end of the hallway, but Pinkie did hear something, the sound of the basement door opening and closing, Bucky and Sparky were now inside the main part of the pizzeria.
“Oh great, more of you, that’s just what I needed!” Pinkie yelled.
Pinkie then did a sweep of the cameras, Bonnie and Freddy were still on stage, Chica was in the restrooms, Foxy was still in Pirate's Cove, Bucky was in the maintenance room, and a new animatronic, which Pinkie guessed was Sparky was in the dining area.
“Ugh! This is getting so old, guys! Why can’t you just take a night off or something?” Pinkie was getting very frustrated. She took a sip of her soda, and rubbed her forehead, “OK, guys. You wanna play like this? Lets do this!”
Pinkie continued to work through the night, with most of them moving only a bit, except for Chica, who had gotten all the way to right outside Pinkies door.
“Oh come on!” Pinkie yelled at Chica as she closed the door, this chicken was really getting on her nerves, in fact, she was really considering bashing the chicken head in, the only things keeping her from doing that was that she would most likely lose her job, and that the animatronic would have the opportunity to grab her and put one of those masks on her.
Once the door was closed, Pinkie looked at the cameras again, most of the animatronics hadn't moved, but she could find Bucky or Sparky, until she went to the kitchen’s camera, she couldn't see what was going on, but she heard two voices talking in the room.
“I’m not going in there.” A voice that sounded like Bucky’s voice said.
“We have to, one of those ‘things’ is in that room.” Another voice said, this voice sounded sad, but Pinkie had no idea what it was sad about, and Pinkie guessed that it was Sparky’s voice.
“You know what happened last time I went in there, I’m not going into there.”
“But this is the fastest way to the room the ‘thing’ is in, and the device they use to see us doesn't work in there.”
“I’m still not going!”
“But all the other routes to that room have those devices that allows them to see us, they’ll close those does and they’ll get away, we can’t let them get away, not after what they did to us!”
“I’d rather risk getting seen then go into there.” Bucky’s voice said, then Pinkie heard the sounds of something walking away, and then, silence.
“What are you guys talking about?” Pinkie wondered. She then started to hear a faint tapping sound coming from the left hall. She checked the camera and noticed Foxy running past down the hall, “HOLY MOTHER OF FUDGE!” Pinkie flew backwards, startled by this. Luckily she was facing the right hallway, and her head smashed into the door button, just barely stopping Foxy, “So, Foxy.” Pinkie said, “Do you wanna just bury the hatchet? Why not just become friends, eh?”
“Never! After what yer kind has done!” Foxy said from behind the door, and then ran back off to Pirates Cove.
Pinkie then checked the right door, Chica wasn't there, so she opened it. She then opened the left door. “You just gotta wonder about this place.” Pinkie said, leaning against the left wall, she accidentally hit the door light with her hoof, and the large purple head of Bonnie appeared in the door, “OH COME ON!” She closed the door, “Can’t you just leave me be? Can’t you try anything but shove me into a suit for once?! I just wanna live my life!”
Pinkie was thinking that Bonnie would say something, but nothing came from the other end of the door, so Pinkie did another sweep of the cameras, Freddy was still on stage, Foxy was still in Pirate’s cove with the curtain closed, Bucky was in the restroom, Chica was in the dining area, and Sparky was in the maintenance room.
With all of the animatronics away from her, Pinkie had some time to think, so she reflected on the new information she had learned, the first thing she found out was that for some reason, Bucky didn't go into the kitchen, the next thing was that Sparky was sad about something, but she had no idea what he was sad about, and lastly, Foxy had told her that the animatronics hated ponies, but why would they, ponies built them, so why would they hate them.
“What happened here?” Pinkie continued to check the cameras, and then saw that her power was at 30 percent, and it was 3:00.AM, “RRRGH! Just hurry up already!” Pinkie then proceeded to smash her skull into the desk.
Pinkie then heard a deep laugh, and jumped up from her head and desk fusion. Pinkie checked the cameras, and noticed that Freddy was off stage.
“So, you’re finally out to play, eh, Freddy?” Pinkie said, flipping through cameras to search for Freddy. She found him in the Dining Area, but could barely see him. All he was was just two eyes staring directly at her from the darkness, “Huh? Odd. Why would you just be in the darkness?”
Pinkie looked at the eyes for a while, there was something about them, even though they were robotic, there was some emotion behind them, Pinkie couldn't tell what emotion it was, but the eyes did manage to creep her out a little.
Pinkie then did a sweep of the cameras, Bonnie was in the supply closet, Chica was at the east hall entrance, Foxy was still at Pirate's Cove, Sparky was still at the maintenance room, Bucky was at the west hall entrance, and Freddy didn't move from the dining area.
Pinkie’s thoughts were all about the animatronics, why were they doing this, why didn't they attack ponies during the day, why did they only attack when either her’s or Lightning’s shift started, and did Lightning have anything to do with this, she wanted answers, badly, but there was no way she could get them with the animatronics attacking her.
Pinkie flipped through the different cameras, and could have sworn one of the posters on the wall had changed to something a little more yellow than normal. With all the weird things that have happened this past week to Pinkie, it’s no wonder why she didn't think much of it. She then looked away from the cameras, and was going to check the door lights. But she realized that she wasn't alone in the room. There was something that looked like a Freddy Fazzbear costume. It wasn't completely like the devil and his little friends outside the doors. This one was just sitting there. Lifeless, and limp, it was also yellow, and it had no eyes. So naturally, she freaked out, and flew backward in her chair, smashing her head into the ground, and she was unconscious. For about three minutes... Maybe a bit longer than that. Afterwards, she got up, rubbing her head.
“What in Equestria was that?” Pinkie grunted, picking her chair up.
Pinkie looked at the clock, it was 5:54 and she had 5% power left, she was once again cutting it close, she grabbed the pad, and checked the cameras outside her room, then checked the lights, nothing, that was good, no, great, she looked at the clock again 5:58, she was so close to freedom, she could taste it.
But then, she heard the sounds of something running towards the room, she didn't need to look at the cameras to know that it was Foxy, once again charging, Pinkie got up to hit the button, but ended up falling, with the button just out of reach, the footsteps got closer and closer, at this point Foxy would get in the room before Pinkie could close the door.
But just as the footsteps were a few feet away from the door, they stopped, and ran in the opposite direction, Pinkie looked at the clock and saw that it was 6:00, this made Pinkie wonder why the animatronics didn't kill her, they had the chance to, but when 6:00 came around, they went back to their places and left her alone, even if they had the chance to kill her. But she didn't have time to think about that, she was just glad that she was able to get outa here.
“YES!” Pinkie called as she ran through the hallway, and into the dining area, where she saw the three bastards on stage, “Oho! Hello there! While your shift has just begun, mine has ended! Take that! Silly animatronics!” Pinkie continued to taunt them, and went out the door, but she then faintly called out, “Suckers!” And then she was long gone. Pinkie smiled as she gleefully pranced through the still dark streets of Ponyville, until she got to her home at Sugarcube Corner, she immediately ran upstairs and picked up the phone, calling Lightning, “Hello Shockbutt, how are you doing tonight?”
“What did you just call me?” Lightning asked, clearly not happy about the nickname.
“Sorry. I’m just really happy for some reason right now.” Pinkie said.
“You saw him... Didn't you?”
“Saw, him?” Pinkie was confused by this.
“Y’know... Him.”
Suddenly, Pinkie remembered what had happened earlier that night. The golden Freddy... Thing.
“How did you know?” Pinkie asked.
“You seem way too cheery.” Lightning answered.
Pinkie started feeling light headed at the thought of the golden Freddy that was sitting in the very room she had been in all night long.
“Are you alright?”
“Yeah.” Pinkie started to loose her balance, “I'm... I just think I need too... Sit down for a moment.” Pinkie tried to hang the phone up, but missed, and she fell to the floor, unconscious., dragging the phone with her, nearly unplugging, and braking it.
“Pinkie?” Lightning said through the phone, “PINKIE?!”
