Deep in Canterlot there is a prison. Underneath that prison is a horrific dungeon. Within that dungeon is a scientific creation. Her name is Dusk Song. She is a creation, not a pony. And her life is dark, sad life with iron bars, guards and nurses in it.

The reason why she's in that dungeon is actually because she was framed. Her own creator put her in that dungeon because he was disappointed with her. Over a thousand years had passed and her creator has passed away, she is not upset at all. Her creator went around, killing ponies, but somehow putting all the evidence on her. The palace guards came for her, confused, she went with them without any restraint, it was only until when the judge said she was guilty that she begun fighting. What a mistake that was.

Her wings are mechanical and she can't fly, due to nor being able to learn. The nurses make her take pills, because she is 'crazy'. But in truth, Dusk Song is sane as any other pony, but her anger of being locked up keeps her under that observation. For years she has screamed and screamed for them to let her go.

After so many years in that cell, she gets a visitor. Only one visitor. The one that controlled the darkness that Dusk Song hid in. Princess Luna. After many visits from the princess, Dusk Song's life changed forever.
