Confusion

        Rainbow Dash fell right into bed after dinner, She didn't want to be late for camp tomorrow. Trying to get all the sleep she could, She was excited for flight camp.... well except for being trained by that Wonderbolt, "How could he be a Wonderbolt!? He sometimes skips practice and shows, he must be a complete slacker...." Rainbow Dash thought to herself "forget learning anything at camp..." Rainbow Dash rolled onto her side and slowly fell asleep.

She had woken up the next morning. She did everything in her daily things, brush her teeth and hair, put on fresh clothes, shower, eat breakfast, etc. Rainbow Dash was ready to go.

"Ready to go?" her mother asked her

Rainbow Dash looked back at the house, thinking if she had gotten everything she needed. "I am sure I got everything" She quickly shuffled threw her backpack, putting her suit case down, checking for her phone, headphones and charger.

"Ok, When you're ready just meet me in the car" Firefly pointed outside to the parked car on their driveway.

"Ok, I'll be right there" Rainbow Dash said as she double checks everything, ensuring she got the items needed. As she does so she got a phone call. She checked who was calling her, Thunder Spirit. She picked up the phone and held it up to her head with her shoulder as she did when she called Fluttershy, "Hello?" Rainbow Dash said,picking up her suit case and slipping on her backpack, she headed out the door.

"Hey, Just wanted to call before I left, making sure the number works. This phone is kind of stupid when it comes to new numbers." Thunder Spirit said.

"Really? What does it do? My friend, Twilight, could help. She's usually is good with stuff like this." Rainbow Dash opened the trunk of the car, placing her suit case in there.

"It deletes numbers sometimes and- Twilight? as in Twilight Sparkle?" Thunder Spirit started answering his question but recognized the name.

"Yeah, as in Twilight Sparkle, Why?" Rainbow Dash entered the car, placing her back pack on the floor of the car.

"Oh, I just remembered her from last year. It's was when the 12th graders and 11th graders teamed up to make a science project." Thunder Spirit remembered.

"Wait? Where are you heading?" Rainbow Dash questioned as she waved bye to her dad and brother, her mother continued on driving.

"What's with you and questions?" he chuckled "I'm heading to some flight camp"

"I am too! Hey, Who is your trainer?" Rainbow Dash asked yet another question "I got Soarin as a trainer" she said in a sarcastic excited tone.

"I got Flare" Thunder Spirit paused for a moment "What's wrong with Soarin? I got him last year and he seemed like a great trainer."

"Well, that's different for you, He's a flirt..." Rainbow Dash said, only hearing silence on the other end "Having trouble connecting those pieces?" Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Say what you want, anyways I gotta go, bye."

"Yeah, bye!" Rainbow Dash hung up the phone, about to listen to music, her phone rang again.....Rarity..... She picked up the phone "Rarity, I swear if this is about another guy or me having to pick you up from mall security I'm not gon-"

"Who was that guy you were talking too!?" Rarity asked

"How did you know I was talking to someone?"

"Some app I found where you can listen to people's phone calls but NEVER MIND THAT! I want to hear about this guy" Rarity changed the topic quickly.

"Thunder Spirit is just a friend and- WAIT!? YOU WERE STALKING MY PHONE CALLS?!" Rainbow Dash sounded ticked off.

"Oh darling please, Stalking is not lady-like....I was simply listening in on a conversation."

"Rarity.... You scare me sometimes. I would count it as stalking if the people don't know you're listening.."

"Oh never mind that, Do you like this Thunder Spirit?" Rarity, who just has to bring something up like this.

"N-No! Why do you always have to bring something like this up ALL the time!?" Rainbow Dash complained

"It's just a question, anyways I bet you do, I can hear it in your voice." Rarity teased

"I told you, I don't Rarity!" Rainbow Dash protested

"If you don't then why are you so protective over it?" Rarity asked, lightly chuckling over it.

"Shut up" Rainbow Dash said in a flat tone, all she heard was Rarity laughing on the other line, Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and hung up.

"What was all that about?" Firefly asked

"I don't wanna talk about it" Rainbow Dash mumbled, her cheeks a light red.

Firefly laughed quietly "Ok"

"Bye mom" Rainbow Dash hugged her mom

"See you later sweetie" Firefly kissed her daughter's forehead, getting back in the car, starting drive off.

Rainbow Dash waved goodbye as her mother drove off and picked up her bags then went to the HQ.

"Hello, Welcome to our Wonderbolt training camp! I'm Dust Devil and you are?" Dust Devil greeted her, picking to Rainbow's bags.

"I'm Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow Dash smiled

"Come with me, I'll show you to your room!" Dust Devil says, Rainbow Dash grabbing a couple of her bags from Dust Devil, following behind.

As they walked, they passed by a friend of Dust Devil, Surprise, She knew Rainbow Dash from her pen pal, Pinkie Pie.

"Hi Dust-Chan! Hi Rainbow-Chan!" Surprise twirled around them then grabbed Rainbow by the arms and spun around about 4-5 time then released, jumping over to Dust Devil.

"You are quite energetic" Rainbow Dash tried to regain her stance, once she does so, she looks at Surprise funny like "AND WHO ARE YOU CALLING RAINBOW-CHAN!?" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Sorry, just a warning, Surprise is a huge otaku" Dust Devil smiled as Surprise nodded in agreement.

"I even named this chapter!" She bounced out of nowhere

"What?" Rainbow Dash was confused, she looked around for Surprise, who popped out of nowhere again, slightly scaring Dust Devil.

"You really need a bell" Dust Devil said, sarcastically checking her heart rate.

"Wouldn't I look kawaii with a bell though!? then you can call me Neko-Chan!" Surprise gave a kitty face.

"Ok...." Both Dust Devil and Rainbow Dash said in unison.

They all arrived to Rainbow Dash's room, Surprise was chatting on about something.

"and then Death just threw the little panda looking ball for having just an extra eyelash, or in his case, asymmetrical,

and it blew up!" Surprise carried on about an anime she had been watching.

"Yeah, that's interesting Surprise..." Dust Devil opened the door and placed Rainbow Dash's bags down.

"He is so obsessed with symmetry, It's just like how Haru is crazy over swimming in water" Surprise added

Dust Devil laughed and rolled her eyes "She will go on and on about anime..."

"I have watched very little of anime, so I don't get much of it either..." Rainbow Dash laughed along, she placed the bags she had carried down as well.

"Here's the key!" Surprise pulled the key out of her pocket and handed it to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash took the key "Thanks!"

"Just take some time and unpack then in an hour just meet your trainer at the their training grounds!" Dust Devil informed her.

"Ok!"

Rainbow Dash looked at what she had unpacked, everything looked about done. She checked the time and flew out, Surprise flew out of her own room, following her.

"Hey! Rainbow-Chan!" Surprise smiled

"Hey Surprise, question, can you show me where Soarin's training grounds are?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yeah sure!" Surprise started flying "You're lucky"

"Why?"

"He's one of our best trainers!" Surprise smiled and flew towards the training grounds, Rainbow Dash followed behind.

"Really? That's gotta be a lie..." Rainbow Dash said in a tone as if Surprise was joking.

"No, we heard you are one of the best flyers. Spitfire wanted to give you one of the best trainers we would have and that is Soarin." Surprise sounded serious, which was a first, Surprise was nearly never serious, so she must be telling the truth.

"If he is such a amazing trainer, why did he skip training and shows sometimes?" Rainbow Dash crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

"We really don't like talking about it.... but you can ask him later..." Surprise's tone turned a bit more upset.

"Sorry that I brought it up then...." Rainbow Dash felt guilty for bring up something that made someone sad.

"It's Ok!, You didn't know..." Surprise said, then changed the topic "Well, come on, I'll bring you to the training grounds." Surprise lead her to the grounds.

"Ok, here we are! See ya later Rainbow-Chan!" Surprise flew off to meet up at her training ground to teach her trainees.

"Rainbow-Chan?" a voice spoke up behind Rainbow Dash, slightly making her jump.

"It's just a name Surprise made up." Rainbow Dash said, turning to the voice to find Soarin, "ugh, not you...."

"What's wrong with me?" Soarin questioned, slightly tilting his head in confusion.

"Well, for starters, you're a huge flirt..." Rainbow Dash murmured with a flat tone.

"Wow, not even gonna sugar coat it?" Soarin joked, slightly rolling his eyes.

"No, because I don't like you!" Rainbow Dash smiled, placing her arms behind her back and leaning her front part of her body.

"Wait, why don't you like me?" Soarin gave a fake pout

"Well, I can name a entire list that can wrap around Canterlot twice..." Rainbow Dash said in yet again on a flat tone.

"Well, I'm not a flirt, you might think I am because of them...." Soarin pointed over to a group of girls who started squealing as he did so.

"Fangirls?"

"Yeah... That's a downside because they don't even want to learn how to fly and be in the Wonderbolts, then they only like me because I'm famous..." Soarin complained.

"Yeah, well I didn't really ask for a life story so yeah....."

"Ignoring that... What is your name? Rainbow-Chan?" Soarin snickered

"It's Rainbow Dash...."

"Rainbow Dash? So, Rainbow-Chan or Dashie-Chan?"

"Call me either and I will break your arms off.."

"O-Ok......" Soarin backed away "I'll just go start class now..."

"Yeah..... Go do that..." Rainbow Dash crossed her arms.

"So, I'll be flying with all of you apparently..." Soarin grumbled "Who wants to go first...?" Soarin ducked as the fangirls all started screaming. " Rainbow Dash would you like to go first?" Soarin begged.

"Haha, no way in Equestria, Senpai...." Rainbow Dash flatly said.

"Freakin' screw you...." Soarin mumbled as he was engulfed by the herd of fangirl. Rainbow Dash stood in the back, laughing the heck out of the moment.

"How was your flights?" Rainbow Dash said, on the verge of laughter.

"Bloody fantastic..." Soarin mumbled

"Bloody fantastic? What are you? the Doctor!" Rainbow Dash bursted out laughing.

"Shut up... anyways your the last one to fly..." Soarin started to take off again.

"Fine....." Rainbow Dash flew along side him.

"So, what are you gonna call me?" Soarin asked "You called me Senpai earlier, gonna call me Soarin- Senpai?"

"Heh, Maybe I should.... because then Senpai will never notice me"

"Why do you hate me anyways... you didn't answer?" Soarin questioned, flying upside down above her

"well, I'm sure the readers know why...." Rainbow Dash said, breaking the 4th wall.

"Breaking the 4th wall is my job!" Pinkie Pie appeared out of nowhere

"Sorry, The writer made me say it..." Rainbow Dash pointed at me

"Wait? Why are you bringing me into this?!" I said, really confused like.

"You are the one writing everything..." Pinkie Pie blamed

"Sure, blame the writer! I'm going to finish this now, Allons-y!" I flew out of the scene.

"I'm outta here too... BYE BRONIES AND PEGASISTERS!!!" Pinkie Pie smiled, waving bye to you and the others through out the screen.

".....W-what?" Soarin stood on a cloud, cross eyed and confused.

"Never mind,  uh, let's continue flying" Rainbow Dash continued on flying.

"O-Ok? I guess...." He started up flying again.
