Author's Note

Hello everypony/body, This is my attempt at trying to write a FNAF fic while also balancing my other fics. Now, Despite the announcement of FNAF4, I will only go as far as 3 and implement 4 only for a sequel. Enjoy my lovely's. :pinkiehappy:

I. The Tale Begins

Ponyvile, Equestria

In the rural town of Ponyvile, a young Princess pony lays on her stomach reading a book in her castle. Her name was Twilight Sparkle, the prized pupil of Princess Celestia and one of the six saviors of the land. Twilight was enjoying the time of in her crystal castle, mostly because she could read in peace without any interruptions.

"TWILIGHT!" yelled a voice. Twilight yelped at the sudden noise and looked over to an opened door. Trotting swiftly from the door was Twilight's fashion-forward friend and fellow Element of Harmony, Rarity. Rarity rushed over to Twilight, her white coat in a messy state and her usually curled purple mane was flat on itself.

"Rarity? What's wrong, you look..." Twilight paused to think of what she should say. Rarity was her friend, but Tartarus hath no fury like Rarity's anger when her looks are insulted.

"I know, I look dreadful darling, but I have a wonderful surprise." Rarity said in a singsong voice. She used her Unicorn horn to open her saddlebag and levitate a beautiful blue dress, akin to what Twilight wore at the Grand Galloping Gala. "Don't you love it darling? I know it's very similar to your Grand Galloping Gala dress, but the blue really does compliment your lavender coat dear." Rarity said as she waved the dress around.

"It's beautiful Rarity, all of your dresses are, but why make me this?" Twilight asked as she put a bookmark in The Crystal Empire: A History. Rarity, being her ever dramatic self, gasped.

"Twilight, don't you know what day it is." Rarity asked with a shocked voice.

"Yes, the celebration of the refounding of the Crystal Empire." Twilight said.

"And you know which town is holding the official celebration party?"

"Ponyvile."

"So it would be fitting for the Princess of Ponyville to look her best when she addresses the Crystal Ponies coming in for the celebration."

"Couldn't I just go with braiding my hair." Twilight chuckled a little at her suggestion, knowing that Rarity would pout at doing something so lazy to look presentable. Of course, Rarity did give a pout and was about to chastise Twilight before she was interrupted by a purple hoof being held up. "I'm joking Rarity, let me go try it on."

Rarity gave a little chuckle as she handed the dress to her friend. Twilight levitated the dress and went into her dresser to try on. As she was, Rarity decided to talk to her about the celebration. It went from talking about the Crystal Ponies visiting to Twilight seeing her brother and sister-in-law again. The conversation finally drew into a dark corner when an old foe was mentioned.

"I can still remember when we had to help save the empire from that horrible King Sombra." Rarity grimaced as she remembered the dastardly Unicorn. Once the tyrannical ruler of the Crystal Empire, Sombra was banished by the two royal sisters 1000 years ago. However, Sombra was a crafty pony and cursed the empire before being banished. The spell lasted those 1000 years until it finally passed and the Crystal Empire reappeared from the wind.

"I'm just glad that we saved the Empire before he could take it back." Twilight said as she began looking at herself in a mirror.

"I still can't imagine what a colt had to go through to become somepony like that."

"Princess Celestia told that he used to be a part of the day counsel before he went rouge."

"Really?"

"Yeah, Celestia and Luna knew him personally, said he was a good friend."

"What could have possibly changed him?"

"I don't know Rarity, neither do the princesses. I do know that Celestia is cautious about his return."

"Princess Celestia thinks he'll return?!"

"Not quite, Sombra was apparently a crafty pony, but I don't think he thought far enough to make sure his tyranny would last." Twilight came out with her dress but still had a worried look on her face. Rarity looked at Twilight with a mix of glee for how the dress worked and sympathy for Twilight's thoughts. She put a hoof around the shoulder of her bookworm friend, making sure not to ruffle the dress.

"Twilight, I'm sure things are fine now, there is no way that monster could have spread his influence." Rarity exclaimed, trying to lighten up Twilight's spirit. Twilight gave a simple smile and walked to her now open door.

"Come on, we wouldn't want to keep the ponies waiting." Twilight suggested.

"Great Idea... just let me freshen up first."

A neighborhood in another world

*RING RING*

"SHUT UP O' REILLY!, NO ONE WANTS YOUR BULLSHIT!" I shouted after smashing my clock. Damn, another politic dream, I need to stop watching that late night show on ABC. My eyes start to fall down, but I use my will power and force myself out of bed. I groan as I felt my legs having to hold my skinny stature, not difficult for most, but a lazy bum like me can't handle the pressure. I waddle towards my bedroom window and open it, proudly shouting in the air.

"GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!" I shouted to the wonderful multicolored humans that I lived with. My patriotic call was responded with a can of Pepsi thrown in my face and some grunting.

"Shut up kid, I still need some sleep!" responded my old neighbor. He was the only guy in the apartment complex that actually helped me get settled in here. He looked at me with his gruff face with his beard floating in the wind.

"Sorry Mr. Schmidt, just excited about the first day of school." I said as I drank his thrown Pepsi.

"Look at you kid, drinking that disgusting beverage for breakfast, teens these days." He said as he shook his head at me.

"You threw the damn soda at me Mr. Schmidt, and you're saying this is disgusting," I pointed to the now empty can,"When you're the one who keeps this stuff."

"I keep that shit to throw at little punks like you, now get dressed you lazy ass." Mr. Schmidt commanded. I rolled my eyes and did what he asked, since I needed to anyway. I stumbled into my bathroom and turned on its sink. Putting my hands together to hold the cold water, I gather a sufficient amount and splashed it on my face. After determining that my eyes were safe from any invading water that would give me that painful sting, I opened them to look at my gorgeous face.

Simple face structure, green eyes, long black hair tied up in a ponytail; yup, I looked like a Japanese samurai, thank you Japanese genes. I went into a little daze as I stared at the beauty that was my Asian face before I went to brushing my teeth. My great-grandparents came here from Japan and we've been living here since, except we still ate short portions of fish. Ever since I was born, everything just tasted like sushi, even the toothpaste I'm currently using to clean my chompers.

After thoroughly cleaning my teeth, I rinsed and flossed quickly before I went to put on my clothes. I put on my black T-shirt with black pants and gray shoes, along with my lucky red scarf. Before I exited my apartment, I looked back at the antique my former boss gave when I quit my summer job. It was a chubby looking blue bunny with buck teeth and a red bow tie. Just looking at that little bobble head made me remember the last five nights I went through.

"... Soon, soon I'll figure out what you're hiding." I whispered, but clearly put those thoughts away as I exited my apartment. Going down the stairs, my name was called.

"Lewis." I looked to the source of the voice to find Mr. Schmidt looking at me from his window.

"What is it Mr. Schmidt?" I asked, only to be thrown a newspaper. I've been in this apartment for two months since summer break, but so far the only thing I've grown to get used to was Mr. Schmidt throwing shit at me. I unfolded the newspaper, only to find a very strange headline.

Local High School pays for a giant hole in their wall.

"Mr. Schmidt, the hell is this." I asked.

"That was a headline about the High School you're going to." Mr. Schmidt said.

"How did they get a hole in their walls, I saw a picture of the school when my parents were web surfing. How does a wall that massive get a hole that big?"

"One kid said something about demons trying to take over the world, but I'm pretty sure he was some Tweaker."

"Oh great, sounds like Cloudsdale academy all over again."

"Hehe, don't worry about it Korean, they have some fun events there, like the Fall Formal... oh, wait, that was when that hole was made."

"For the last time Mr. Schmidt, I'm part Japanese."

"Oh, what's the difference."

"Racist!"

"Eh, fuck you." that brought me to chuckle, Mr. Schmidt may be a 53 year old, but damn could he be a funny bastard.

"So what other festivities does this school have." I asked after calming down.

"They had a 'Battle of the Bands' event, but when I saw the school during their last round there was this big green smoke flying up in the sky." He said as he pointed to the sky.

"Green smoke?"

"Maybe they all had B.O, or taco Tuesday took its toll, fucking Mexican food."

"I feel you Mr. Schmidt, dem taquitos back me up real good."

"Exactly, oh and kid, you have ten minutes before school starts." I quickly looked at my watch and saw that he was right. I broke into a sprint as Mr. Schmidt cackled behind me, damn old man. I raced through the neighborhood like a speeding bullet train, passing a sweet cafe and a pawn shop along the way. The whole neighborhood was bright and colorful, policemen were directing traffic, people were greeting each other, it was a nice place. My sense of wonder was interrupted once I saw the school I transferred to, Canterlot High School.

Now, I'll go into a few details about myself that can tell you how different this school is compared to mine. I grew up in Manhattan, a quite dark and dreary town with its only color coming from the varying skins of the people. My old school, Cloudsdale Academy, was only one thing and one thing only, blue. The primary and secondary colors were always blue, and everything about the students was blue. Drug dealers, gang members, just regular ol' pieces of shit.

This school on the other hand was as bright as a rainbow Unicorn with wings... actually, I think that was put in a weather report. It had a nice magenta color on the whole interior and everything was just so bright. I looked around to see teens just socializing and conversing with people that look completely different from them. I small smile crept on my face, happy to see something pure in this world.

My gaze soon wandered to something I didn't expect to see, a walking pile of books. The books were being held (barely I might add) by a purple skinned girl with glasses and a lab coat, odd, but interesting. She looked like she was about to collapse from the large books she was carrying. Me, being the gentleman I was, went over to her and grabbed half the stack off of her.

"H-Huh!" she said as she looked at me with confusion in her eyes.

"Thought you could use the help miss, just say where to and I'll hall these for ya." I said suavely.

"U-Um... okay, follow me." she said as she went inside the school building, me following closely behind. The interior was just as colorful as the outside, with a nice shade of beige on the walls. We came to a green locker with the numbers "674" etched on the front. The lavender lady puts her books down so she could open her locker, and then she gestured for me to hand her the books. I did just that and her plethora of books was now snugged securely in her locker.

"Uhm... thanks for the help." she said quickly before she bolted off to where I hope was her first class. I thought only one thing when she ran off.

'Hm... a good looking nerd... life, I love you.'

Some time later

Ah, some many things I would like to say right now, like "so refreshing not to be asked for meth every time I walk the halls". The start of the school day was fine in all regards, I met some nice teachers but mostly kept to myself when it came to my peers. The reason I helped out that girl with the lab coat was because my Chichi (father) conditioned me to respect and help women. Speaking of the girl with the lab coat, apparently she's in my English and science class. She knew this too, since she kept eyeing me when I was pretending not to notice. We had to introduce our names when we called, so I learned her name was Twilight Sparkle. However, I noticed that some girls were eyeing up Twilight.

In our English class, there was this yellow skinned girl, named Sunset Shimmer, with fiery red and yellow hair, which looked like ketchup when I first looked. She had a biker jacket over a nice blue dress, but had long dark blue pants that blocked most of her legs. Her cyan eyes were locked dead center on lab coat the whole lesson. Same also went to another girl named Pinkie Pie in the same class who had pink skin and pink poofy hair. She wore a basic white t shirt with a blue jacket on top and a pink skirt with balloons on it. I couldn't really tell if her blue eyes were staring at Twilight or just drifting into space.

I didn't think of it seriously at the time until science when this other girl was eyeing her up with her magenta eyes. She had light blue skin and just had long rainbow colored hair. Her paying attention to twilight got her in trouble, though, as the teacher called on her to answer a question, she completely shrugged her shoulders as she said "Sorry teach.". The teacher put his fingers on the bridge of his nose and whispered "Same Rainbow Dash", this "Rainbow Dash" probably being the skittle advertisement.

I couldn't understand why, so far, three girls stared at Twilight, who seemed to be completely new here like I was. However, I am an analytic mind, one who will go to the ends of the earth to figure something out. By piecing together the girl's speech when they answered questions, their clothes, their looks, I have concluded the most likely explanation.

Twilight is a bonafide chick magnet that turns any woman gay for her.

Enough about my concrete theory for now, let's focus on me going to my favorite subject, lunch. I was heading to the cafeteria after gym, and I was still breathing heavily from the exercises that our coach Iron Will made us do. My thoughts were mainly focused on the girls in their gym shorts, especially Twilight Sparkle's. I don't know why, but I've taken a strange fascination to Twilight, not in a romantic way, but in a way I don't really know how to explain. She definitely seemed like a girl who would keep to herself, but I think there would be a way to crack her shell.

My mental imagery was cut off by some whispering coming from the music room I just passed. I walked back a couple steps and leaned in to listen to the multiple voices chatting about something... or someone.

"Why can't we just tell her why we know her?!"

"Twilight told us dat she wasn't one to be swayed so easily, how would tellin' her how we know her help her open up."

"AJ's right, Twilight wouldn't believe us if we told her the truth."

"Darlings, we believed the truth when we were told, don't you think Twilight would too."

"U-Um, I would think we would h-have to convince her a little more... if that's okay with you all."

"I think we should throw her a big party to convince her!"

There was this constant back and forth between these voices over Twilight, for what reason, it was too cryptic to tell. My curiosity was kicking into overdrive over hearing this strange conversation. Just what was so special about Twilight Sparkle? And why would it be so hard for these people to tell her how they know her. They could be strange stalkers from social media websites trying to hunt down some girl they didn't like. Or hell, maybe Twilight has an account for a dating website and they all just happen to have been hitting on her.

"Christ." I whispered to myself, trying to handle wanting to know and yet getting no answers. That was my one problem, I had no control over my fascination and curiosity, whether it came to personal drama or my old jo... never mind. I heard some footsteps from the music room, and they sounded like they were coming to the door I was leaning on. I bolted to the lunch room and rounded the corner, hopefully they didn't see me. I lessened my pace so that I could catch my already short breath. Now I was walking slowly, allowing the sweat to drip off my face and me to catch my breaths so I could inhale and exhale at a regular pace.

Turns out the music room was pretty close to the lunch room, since as I took a stop, I looked to my right to find the lunch room, densely packed with a truckload of students. I was left in a bit of a daze as I stared at the hundreds of students just sitting and eating. A strange grumbling noise snapped me out of my funk, but instead puts my mind in a different state. I turned around out of pure terrified instinct, only to see nothing, The grumbling came again, except this time I looked down to find the source, which turned out to be my stomach.

"Damn." I cursed to myself. Trying to brush off my concern, I went into the lunch room to get some food. The sounds of chattering and munching filled the beige room. I found myself at the back of the line and just decided to eye up the students sitting down. Some of them looked completely different from each other, yet those vastly different looking people sat with each other and talked. It was very different from what Cloudsdale Academy had to offer, which was "stay with whom you got and shut up".

"Want anythin' sonny?" A nice elderly voice spoke. I looked at the source and found a nice, plump, old, green-skinned woman.

"O-Oh, sorry, just a little day dreamy today." I sputtered as I grabbed an apple and some juice... which was apple flavored.

"First day?" The woman inquired as she plopped a nice helping of mashed potatoes on my plate.

"Yes indeed." I said as I picked up my tray. "Itadakimasu." I bowed my head slightly, much to the lady's confusion.

"Boy, what form of fancy talk was that?" she inquired, to which I gave a hearty chuckle.

"Japanese ma'am." I explained briefly as I went to find a seat. Over in the corner of my eye, I saw that the confused look on that lady didn't change, which brought a sense of happiness, this form of emotional expression being refereed by my older brother as "Pleasing the troll within."

Looking for a table wasn't so easy. Me being a type of guy who lets himself stay away from practically everybody in the first week of school, I made sure to avoid the large crowds at the tables. Everyone just felt so bright and preppy, but my loner side of me didn't want any of that. However, as I got through another lane of tables, I found one lone table with a female figure reading a newspaper. After some squinting with my eyes, I determined that the figure was Twilight Sparkle. For some reason, Twilight caught my attention since the morning, so alone whenever I saw her around the halls or in our classes. So, my gut feeling told me to go sit with her, and my gut never tells me to do something if it doesn't know that it's for a good reason.

"Hi." I said as I approached her from behind. She jumped when she saw me and eyed me as if I was some creep. She collected her posture and pushed her glasses up, which gave a white shine like when you see it in anime... what, I'm Japanese, cut me a break.

"Hello, you were the guy that helped me with carrying my books, may I help you with something." She said rather nonchalantly.

"Could I sit with you?" I asked a little nervously, hoping she wouldn't find this weird. She still looked at me like I was trying to do something crazy like cause eternal night to the world.

"You may." Twilight stated rather coldly. I raise my eyebrow a little as I sat down and quickly began eating my mashed potatoes. She continued to read her newspaper like I wasn't here, almost in a very focused state of mind if you will. I slowly glanced at the paper and saw it was the same one Mr. Schmidt threw to me before. My gaze was interrupted as I looked to Twilight, who had her eyebrows arched in suspicion.

"Are you sure there's nothing you want?" She asked bluntly. I fidgeted a little as she stared at me with her purple eyes.

"N-Nothing, just noticing that newspaper." I said quickly as I pointed to the paper in question.

"Uh huh. Well, I guess you know a little about this school then?"

"Yeah, I got some of the detail's about that from my neighbor. We think that speal about demons may be some nonsensical ramble though."

"Not 'may be', its completely ridiculous. Demons are just some figmented creatures to explain things that logic or science hasn't yet. Although, something strange has been going on in this school, and I intend to find out."

"Strange? Like What?"

"Odd occurrences, strange weather developments in this location, lots of things... I probably shouldn't be talking to you about this."

"Hey, it's alright, I've been doing some little investigation of my own since I got here."

"Of what?"

"Heh, top secret." I said as I placed my index finger over my mouth. Twilight looked at me with slight annoyance and continued reading her newspaper. I ate the rest of my mashed potatoes and decided to get up and throw out my trash. As I did, I remembered that strange conversation I heard in the music room.

"Hey Twilight." I said over my shoulder.

"What?" she said with a mix of confusion and annoyance. I really couldn't think of what I wanted to say to her, "Hey, just to let you know, there are some girls that possibly want to get with you.", probably not the best way to put it huh?

"Just be careful." I managed to say as I went to throw out my trash. Hopefully that girl will be okay... but its not like she came face to face with a damn monster.

At the Apartment

After getting through some more school and walking home, I managed to arrive at my somewhat cozy apartment. Opening the door, I could still smell that nice scent of fresh wood... and some nachos. I plopped my school bag on my bed and sat down as I looked out of my window. A bunch of thoughts was floating through my head, some about my new school, most about my old home.

It's weird, I've never had nice thoughts about Manhattan, but you tend to get used to the cigarette smoke and gang violence that accompanies it. I'm guessing what I really miss is the family I had to leave behind. My parents, my mother mostly, wanted me to attend a school that could actually instill some knowledge into my skull. Unfortunately, Cloudsdale Academy didn't cut that requirement. My mom, being the hardcore Asian mother, found Canterlot high and pleaded for me to move to the town it resides in.

I did, not wanting my mother's scorn for the rest of my life, and quickly moved into this apartment complex. Of course, the problem of money was our biggest issue, but I managed to get a job, one that I quit after the second to last week of summer. Speaking of my old summer job, it was time for me to do some "investigating."

I looked over at the blue rabbit bobble head and gave a quiet chuckle. I walked over to it and pulled on the desk drawer. After fiddling around inside, I managed to find the one thing I needed, chalk. With the chalk, I drew a circle around the bobble head and made five lines pointing at it. I let my hands rest on the opposite ends of the circle and took a couple of minutes to gain some cool.

I consider myself odd, mainly because my family is a clan of Japanese exorcists. Nowadays we aren't really that religious, but my grandfather taught me that, apparently, we did have a special gift for interacting with the deceased. My grandfather tells me that my great-grandfather met some strange man with a long beard that taught him these tricks to speak with the dead. One of these tricks allowed the user to go back to an unspecified time through any object.

My thoughts were finally cleared as I recited the chant for this... "spell" as it were.

"Kami to jōki no megami,

watashi no tangan o kikimasu kono seishin-tekina ryokō o tori,

mottomo kichōdatta toki ni, kako no kono obujekuto ni, genzai, matawa shōrai,

āmen."

My mind felt in a daze, as if nothing were real. My vision was blurred out by blue smoke, a kind of smoke that I have come to know as fake. Gravity felt like a void, no noise could be heard, and my sense of touch had vanished. Soon, a colored image started coming into my head, almost as if I was there.

1980...

That was what the calendar said... July 5th, 1980. My surroundings appeared to be what resembled an office that a boss would usually sit in. It had a black and white tiled floor that was polished to complete brim. By looking at the shine on the floor, I made out that wherever this man was at, it was most likely new. It could be that, or maybe the floors are just always in tip top condition. There was a nice brown wooden desk with a little fan and the same blue rabbit bobble head. Sitting in a chair behind the desk with his legs folded was some man wearing a business suit reading a newspaper. He hummed a little tune as he flipped the pages. At brief moments, he would look at a clock on the wall, which was stuck on 3 AM.

The man decided to stand up and do some stretches, allowing me to get a better look at him. He had dark blue skin and... a pink mustache, odd, but since our skin is kind of like a rainbow, it's forgivable. His black hair was pretty long, going back to his neck.

A loud knock came from the brown door in the office. The man with the pink mustache stopped his arm stretches and went to the door. He opened the door to find a small red skinned man with a similar business suit and short brown hair.

"Ah, Timothy, how are you?" the tall man asked.

"Good Mr. Mark, just a little jittery." the little man said as he entered the office. The tall man, "Mr. Mark", went over and pulled a chair for "Timothy". Mr. Mark sat down on his chair after Timothy got comfortable in his chair.

"So, Tim, how's everything looking like?" Mr. Mark asked.

"W-W-Well, so far everything is right on schedule. The building is nice and tighty, so is the sister location from what I hear. Are food stock is full and I'm very certain the children will love the pizza we have." Timothy said with excitement.

"That's wonderful to hear, but you know the food and our cleanliness isn't what'll make Fazbear Entertainment known." Mr. Mark said as he went back to his newspaper.

"O-Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't even think about the... animatronics." Tim said while rubbing the back of his head, but also having a distressed look on his face.

"Something wrong with them?"

"N-No, they're just really creepy to be honest."

"No worries Timothy, it's natural, we have suspicions the children will be scared of them too, now how is their status."

"Well, they are making tremendous progress, we believe the main three will be ready before the fourth wheel however."

"That's fine, the mechanic will make sure he's ready though, right?"

"Most likely, though he does kind of worry me."

"How so."

"He's just... weird, talks about time travel and always wears a brown suit whenever he works on them."

"He's that British man with brown skin and hair, right, say's he's a doctor?" Mr. Mark asks, lowering his newspaper so his eyes could look at Tim's.

"Yeah." Tim said frankly.

"Never mind him, he's a little loony. Ah, I just remembered, how goes the production of those special suits."

"They'll be ready for both of are location's sir."

"Alright then, that's all we need to discuss then, you may go home now Timothy, but be ready for opening day two days from now."

"Actually, sir, if we could discuss one consern I have..." Tim said while tugging the collar of his suit.

"Hmm?" Mr' Mark muttered with faint interest.

"... Do you think we can trust the guy who sold us the rights to the bear." Tim asked. There was a long silence in the room, Tim sweating bullets and Mr. Mark was still reading the newspaper.

"You mean the old man who owned that little place in Dallas." Mr. Mark finally spoke.

"We both know that wasn't the man who consented to this deal."

"Yes, yes, the security guard who had a share in the business. Why shouldn't we trust him? It's not like he can really do anything with selling us the rights to his family's restaurant."

"I don't know, he just has this off attitude about him."

"Nonsense, the man has offered his services to this new chain and he's given us a nice concept for a special birthday party event. If he gives us any issues, I'll be the first to sniff it out Timothy, don't worry." Mr. Mark said as he closed his newspaper.

"Y-Yeah, I guess your right." Timothy said as he got up to exit the office. Mr. Mark followed him as they both exited the office. The picture was starting to get made... but my mind couldn't adjust the information as the memory faded and I went into a sleep.

The Crystal Empire, Equestria

The Crystal Empire was bright and shiny in the nighttime. Every Crystal Pony was either asleep or awake due to the overwhelming excitement of the anniversary of it's refounding. However, not all was well in the Outlands that surrounded to glowing kingdom. Within a small crack in the ground was a small fragment of an evil tyrant. It glowed its red hue and was surrounded by a small, frail black aura. It would try to flow ever-so-slightly, only to fall down in a split second. It hissed an awful howl as it lay on the ground.

Those ponies think they can get rid of me... they think they destroyed me... well, they can't, I ALWAYS COME BACK!!!
