A aqua-green coated mare with a red mane stood in a dark room chained to a rotating carousel. The only light in the room came from the circle of floodlights blinding her above her head and the moon from a skylight. She knew that in a few moments, she would no longer be an individual with thoughts and feelings of her own. At a time like this, all she could seem to do was stare up at the stars.

"We'll start the bidding at 10,000 bits." a colt's voice said over the PA system.

She remembered how when she was a child her mother and her used to go to a flower-covered hill by the Everfree Forest some nights and lay in the flowers gazing at the stars above. Her mom would always ask her how she was doing in school, if she had her eyes on any colts in class, typical mom stuff.

A ding was heard over the PA system followed by the same voice. "10,000! Do I hear 20,000?" the voice said.

As she got older, she started to lay with her mom on that hill less and less but now, at this moment, she missed those talks with her mom under the stars. She missed her dad's lectures. She missed her brother's pranks. She missed her home. She missed everything from before she ran into HIM.

A few more consecutive dings followed by that distinct voice. "100,000! Do I hear 200,000 bits?"

The mare tuned out the noise for several minutes and tried to focus on remembering what her mothers voice sounded like one last time. She had only been his prisoner for 6 days, but after the torture she had received, it felt like a lifetime.

"1,000,000 bits going once!"

She was running out of time. The filly closed her eyes and focused hard, searching frantically for a happy ending to her old life as a pony before she begun her new life suffering as merely an object.

"1,000,000 bits going twice!"

Tears began to stream down the pony's cheeks as memories of her family and friends flashed before her eyes. Suddenly in her mind she heard the soft, caring voice of her mother saying those memorable words that she used to say to her after she tucked her into bed every night. "I love you."

"SOLD! For 1,000,000 bits to the gentlecolt in room A4!"

"I love you too, mom," the filly whimpered.

The carousel stopped. A pony in a dark robe unchained the mare from the carousel and started leading her away into the darkness.

Meanwhile, in room A4, two unicorns clinked their floating champagne glasses together as they watched the crying mare fade out of sight from behind a two-way mirror. One of the unicorns, a brown-coated, well-built stallion wearing a black mask with a red X plastered across the mouth, spoke to the other, "I'm tellin' ya, you made a wise purchase here tonight. You won't be disappointed. This one's even a squirter! Clocked her in at about 6 meters back at my base with my buddies. Sad to see her go. If you hadn't stepped up and shown interest I probably would have kept this one for myself!" The unicorns laughed in unison. The other pony, a healthily plump, light-red stallion with a dark blue mane dressed in traditional garb typically worn by a high-ranking Saddle Arabian responded, "I trust your word, Master. It is not in your best interest to sell me an inferior product, since the entire market knows what fate befell the last pony that tried to play cheap with me." "Yes, and let me say what an honor it is to work with a colt as powerful as you, Mr. al Neighhir," Master said as he bowed to the diplomat. Mr. al Neighhir bowed his head to Master and he rose.

The masked unicorn paused for a moment and said, "It is a tragedy we had to meet under such dark circumstances. Accept my condolences for the loss of your wife."  The Saddle Arabian turned his head back to the carousel where another mare was being led in when Master suddenly had a burst of energy. "But OH MAN! that execution was AWESOMMMMMEEEE! She was screamin' and screamin' 'Please! Please! Don't do this, my love! I'm sorry! Please don't kill me!' then SLICE! Cut the bitch's throat open and blood was spewin' everywhere and on the walls and shit! DAMN! That was..." Mr. al Neighhir shot Master an evil glare. Master calmed down and sank onto his seat. "It wasn't that cool. I've done worse," he said. Mr. al Neighhir turned back to the carousel again, reminiscing on the past. "I loved my wife," he said, "but I had to do what I had to do. I bought her in this very auction house 10 years ago. She only remained with the others for 3 months before I realized she was the one. I took her out of the basement. I gave her a normal life. I gave her riches, love, and time, and she repaid me with betrayal. She freed all 16 of my other slaves during her escape. I was only able to reclaim 2 of them during the incident. The other 14 that got away had to be located and silenced before the counsel knew of my involvement with this place."

Master put his hoof around the diplomat. "Don't you worry your fancy towel-wearin' head. I will personally help you rebuild your collection to its former glory with only the finest mares money can buy," he said happily. Mr. al Neighhir turned his head and nodded to the masked stallion. He then stood up and started for the exit. "My associates will drop your payment at our agreed location in 2 days. It has been a pleasure doing business with you, Master." Master bowed once more and said, "No, the pleasure's all mine. Well, mostly mine and partially that mare's who's pussy you'll be pounding every day and night!" Master broke out into a infectious laugh that caused the Saddle Arabian to chuckle a bit as he walked closer to the exit.

Before Mr. al Neighhir could close the door behind him,  Master stopped his laughing fit and got the diplomat's attention. "Sir, if I could find you a replacement wife," he began to say before Mr. al Neighhir interrupted him. "Could you do such a thing? I'd pay handsomely for a pony that could be my new wife!" "Of course I could," Master replied with pride. "I have a new train of fresh meat coming in from Ponyville tomorrow. Just tell me what her personality should be and I'll have your bride-to-be here for next week's auction. I'm sure i'll find someone perfect in this week's pick." Mr. al Neighhir's eyes filled with joy, but to maintain professionalism, he tried to hide it as he said, "timid and caring, with a soothing voice." The Saddle Arabian closed to door behind him. Master turned to see the next mare on the lot be sold for 400,000 bits. He lifted his mask just high enough to gulp down the champagne in his glass, then threw the glass against the wall, shattering it as he begun laughing maniacally. He flipped his mask back down and said, "Easy money, here I come."
