Chapters I Live With The Dazzlings
Thunder held his résumé in one hand, and his phone in another. He was ready to meet with his roommates and talk. The door opened and an orange female walked in.
"Well, hello. I'm Adagio. You?" She asked.
"I'm Thunder. Nice to meet you." He held his hand out.
She shook it, and then noticed his badge saying 'Canterlot Police Academy '.
"Oh? This is from my secondary school. Since my father was a fireman and my mom died on police duty, I couldn't avoid the law field." Thunder said.
Okay, don't mess with him. Adagio thought.
"Well, I'm sorry to hear that." She said.
"It's alright, I barely got to know them as it is. My mother investigated my school after the whole 'Fall Formal' happened." Thunder said.
Fall Formal? Oh, no. He's from CHS... Adagio worried.
"And there was the Musical Showcase which I had to miss due to my extreme case of the cold. When I got back, everyone talked about it as if it was another alien attack." Thunder said.
Thank Celestia, he doesn't know. Adagio thought now relieved.
Then, Aria walked in.
"Adagio, when are you done with the interview? Sonata's going off again about lunch." The purple siren said.
"Well, are these your sisters?" Thunder asked.
"Yes, unfortunately. Tell her I'll be done soon." Adagio said.
"Well, all I can say is I know what you're going through. My sister's just the same." Thunder said.
"Well, try two of them, and one of them begging for tacos 24/7."
The two talked about their daily routines and other family matters, all while avoiding anything from Equestria.
"Well, what do you say?" Adagio asked.
"Why not? It's not like I have anywhere else to go." Thunder shook her hand and walked to pack his things.
"Sonata, Aria, remember, let nothing about Equestria slip out! This is our chance to settle down, and we will NOT waste it." Adagio said with her commanding voice.
"Ja mein Führer" Aria teased.
Adagio gave her sister a death stare. She showed a flinch as she walked away, Sonata followed totally lost, only worrying about her tacos. As for Thunder, he managed to grab his family photo and his old BB gun from his father and left his apartment to join his new roomates.
"Let's see how this plays out..." Thunder said.
He knocked and was awnsered by Aria.
"Oh, hey Thunder, your rooms the one on the left."
He walked in to see a decent setup with a 30 inch flatscreen T.V, a closet, and a game chair.
Lucky for him, because he loved Advanced Warfare...
He decided to play splitscreen Exo Zombies. He was at round 20, he had the CEL-3 Cauterizer at mark 15, he was almost at the easter egg, but then Sonata walked in.
"Is that Advanced Warfare?!"
The reply made him jump and almost killed him in-game.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!"
"No, it's okay. You just startled me, that's all."
"Phew. Do you have a second controller?" She asked.
The question both surprised and confused Thunder. Never in his life did a girl he ever met asked him if they can play Call of Duty with him. But that didn't matter.
"Sure. We might want to start over." He paused and exited the game.
"Well, you didn't have to do that!" She said.
"It was either that or force you to wait." Thunder said.
"Well, let's go." Sonata grabbed the second controller and sat on the bed.
Remember Thunder, no matter how bad she might be, give her a chance. He told himself.
When the game started, Sonata was actually pretty good. By round 10, she had the Cauterizer at mark 17, an exo suit, Exo Health, and Exo Reload. As for Thunder, he had a mark 16 Tac-19, a mark 20 MK14, an exo suit, and Exo Health. The game went from round 20 to round 41 in an hour. Little did Sonata know, Thunder wanted to do YouTube. The game ended when a horde of zombies flooded the map and wiped Thunder out. Sonata was last.
"Well, that was fun, huh?" Thunder asked.
"Yeah, too bad you don't have YouTube." She said.
"Man, if I had YouTube...Hey, we should do an account!" Thunder said.
"Wait, for realizes?" Sonata asked.
"Yeah! You and me, we can be..." He was cut off on a name.
"How about SonataandThunder?" Sonata asked.
"Nah, too personal. How about... Thetacopartners!" Thunder said.
"Perfect! Man, if we could do more than gaming..." Sonata said.
Then something hit Thunder.
"Music videos!" He said.
"No! ...No." Thunder was surprised by Sonata's reaction.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. Just bad memories that's all." Sonata said.
"Well, that's your business, not mine." Thunder walked out to make dinner.
He and the others shared a homemade pizza by Thunder. And it was good, clearly according to the former sirens.
"Where did it say you could cook in your résumé? This is great!" Adagio said.
"I don't compliment people much, but this is good stuff Thunder." Aria said.
"This is almost better than tacos!" Sonata said.
"Well, my uncle and aunt own Sugarcube Corner down the road. I was thought to cook by them when I was 13. I got the hang of it at 15. So I was cooking for 4 years." Thunder said realizing that his 18th birthday was coming up.
We can get used to him... *Adagio thought to herself as she ate. *
I Live With The Dazzlings
TWO WEEKS LATER
As the sun rose from the sky, Sonata and Thunder gladly woke up normally, as for the others, the month before took its toll.
"What day is it?" Sonata asked.
"Thursday. Why?" Adagio asked.
"Well, me and Thunder are supposed to do a video lat-" Sonata was interrupted by Adagio.
"SONATA! We're supposed to find a way to get our amulets back! NOT doing YouTube with the new guy!"
"Come on, 'Dagi. This is our chance to relax and live for once! I'm not gonna waste it on a stupid pipe dream!" Sonata now whispered to avoid a curious Thunder.
"I'll admit, we could use a break..." Aria said.
As if on cue, Thunder walked on out.
"Good morning." Sonata said.
"Good morning. Well, there's not much here for breakfast, wanna eat out?" Thunder
asked.
When the team got back, Adagio wanted to talk to Thunder.
"So, you're from CHS?" She asked.
"Yeah. I had to move herein last year since my aunt and uncle lived here. Why?" Thunder asked.
"Oh, no reason." Adagio said eating her breakfast burrito.
As they were talking, Thunder decided to bring up the Battle of The Bands, or as he knew it, the Canterlot Musical Showcase...
"I heard about this band at the showcase and-"
"Yeah! That band was awesome!" Adagio's eyes darted left and right as she held her fake smile
"Anyway, I think they're called the Rainbooms and-" he noticed that Adagio had developed a large scowl on her face and was suffocating the burrito in her hand.
"Something wrong?" he asked watching the meat and cheese slowly spill onto her hand.
"Nothing!" she smiled again sweat beginning to drip down her forehead.
"Okay then..." Thunder would have questioned more, but Sonata called him.
"Hey, Thunder, are we doin' this livestream or not?!"
"Yeah, I'm coming! See you." Thunder went to join Sonata already wearing her headset and had the webcam set up.
"Let's do this!" Thunder said.
They were almost there... Round 36, almost near the easter egg, Panzer right behind them, but then, a noob went down.
"REVIVE ME, I HAVE A RAY GUN!" was all their ears were flooded with.
"I got him!" Thunder ran at him with his Ultimate Lightning Staff, but then, the screen flooded white.
They did it. 2 hours of gameplay finally paid off.
"Yeah! Boohya!" Sonata said.
"Hallelujah!" Thunder said.
They then left the game and did their new sign off. A.K.A, the screen being flooded with tacos while Thunder and Sonata said goodbye. When the video was up, they began to relax.
"Well, that was fun." Thunder said.
"Yeah, 36 rounds! It's a new record!" Sonata said.
But, Adagio was in the corner when they signed off.
Look at her! We could be Sirens again, but all she cares about is her acting! I'll show her... Adagio said under her breath.
As the day went on, Thunder decided to make homemade banana bread for lunch, and boy did they like it.
"Next time, make a few tacos!" Sonata said.
"Sure thing." Thunder said.
I swear, that's all she talks about! Adagio said under their breath as they ate.
"So, did you hear of the musical showcase?" Thunder decided to ask.
"Yeah. We were-" Sonata was cut off by Aria nudging her in the knee.
"What she means is we used to be students there." Adagio said with obvious worry.
What's going on? Every time I even mention the showcase, she goes nuts. Let me try something... Thunder said to himself.
"Hey, did you hear of the Fall Formal last year?" Thunder asked.
"Yes, we did see Sunset Shimmer in the halls several times." Adagio said, with again, obvious worry.
Okay, so they know HER, how about Twilight? Thunder asked himself.
"So, you know about Twi-" Thunder was interrupted by Adagio and Aria scowling in pure, raw hatred.
Only Sonata stayed sane.
"Yeah, we heard things about her." She said.
"So, you know about Equestria?" Thunder asked.
"Yeah, it sounded pretty crazy at first, but then came the whole "Sunset Satan" problem." Adagio said.
Thunder shivered thinking of that night. The last thing he remembered was seeing that... thing.
"Please don't bring up that night..." Thunder was starting to doze off.
"What's wrong?" Sonata asked.
"Nothing. It's just... the whole "Dead Rising" deal." Thunder said to the blue haired siren.
"Oh, right." Sonata said.
Thunder remembered that... thing destroy the entrance of the school and then everything going red.
"Still, it was horrifying seeing that thing control me. After the investigation, the military decided to keep it all under wraps as long as the students in Canterlot kept it a secret. They did."
As the 4 were talking, a person knocked at the door.
"I'll get it." Thunder said as the others hid from view.
The door creaked open and Pinkie Pie stood there.
"HEY THUNDER!" The pink-haired girl said to him.
"Hi, Pinkie. How're things back at Sugarcube Corner?" He asked.
"Great! We're just making amends after the Battle of The Bands." Pinkie said.
Wait, what? Thunder thought.
"Don't you mean the Canterlot Musical Showcase?" Thunder asked with confusion flooding his words.
"Nope! It was changed after a group called the Dazzlings came in and hypnotized the whole school into chaos!" Pinkie said with a smile on her face.
Okay then... Thunder thought.
"Well, tell Aunt and Uncle Cake I said hi." He said to her.
Aunt? Uncle? Adagio thought to herself as the door closed.
Thunder then knocked on the bathroom door showing the all-clear.
"Why was it the Battle of The Bands?" Thunder asked them, clearly they knew.
"Oh, simply because t-" Adagio was interrupted by Thunder holding a shattered amulet- her amulet!
"I know who you are. I found this in the police records a few hours ago. . I know who Sunset Shimmer was too. They forgave her so, I'll forgive you. I'll keep this for now just in case you three didn't change yet. Like I said, I was there at the Fall Formal. I know what she was ever since she walked through those doors. As long as you don't give people here any trouble, I won't say anything about you three being here. Deal?" Thunder asked.
Adagio was stunned for a solid 10 seconds before shaking his hand.
"Deal."
I Live With The Dazzlings
The sun shone bright in Aria's eyes as she slightly opened them like gates.
"Why do humans need the sun?" Aria asked herself as she rose from the bed.
As they went to the kitchen, Thunder already was making pancakes and eggs- at 4:00 A.M.
"Only two hours 'till I head out. I guess you three have a full-time job or whatever so I made arrangements to stay with my aunt and uncle after school. What time does your job close?" Thunder asked.
"Well, we all share the same job at the burger joint downtown but 'Dagi does overtime so me and Sonata'll be back by 4, but 'Dagi will be back at 6." Aria said.
"Okay then." Thunder began to walk out the door when he turned around.
"Do you want to stay hidden? Or do you not care?" Thunder asked.
"You know them. I honestly don't care what you do." Aria replied.
Thunder then got in his Prius and drived to school. He started to remember how much he hated here. Not because of his grades or his social life, but because of all of the attention from the military and the president. But they did nothing about it.
"As long as we don't see a major catastrophic disaster, we'll let these problems be solved by Twilight. No need for brutal force here." The president said.
Thunder walked to his first class with no worry in the world, except what to do about the Dazzling-roommate problem. Should he tell someone? Should he tell them? Just then, Pinkie walked up.
"HEY, BROTHER! HOW'S THE APARTMENT?!"
"Well-"
"Nah, don't tell me. Well, the café's doing alrightie! Mr and Mrs Cake are doing great! So are Pound and Pumpkin."
"Pinkie-"
"And me and my friends are just great! Especially after the nasty sirens came in and-"
"PINKIE! I have something I want to tell you. But you CAN'T tell the others."
Pinkie made a zipper motion with her fingers that- literally zipped her mouth shut.
"Well, you see..."
"You're sharing the apartment with the ex- nasty sirens and you can't tell anyone." Pinkie said with a big smile.
Thunder stood there wide-eyed.
"How did you..."
"It was SOOO obvious! One, the bathroom light was on, two, Aria and Sonata were whispering in the bathroom, and three, there was nowhere else they could go!"
"Okay... Not the strangest thing I heard from you. Just, don't tell the others, okay? If they find out, who knows what they'll do? They're good people, they are. They just need a chance. I'm willing to give them it." Thunder said silently.
"Like your ex-girlfriend?" Pinkie asked.
Thunder had sudden flashbacks to when he and Sunset Shimmer were dating. They had to break up due to what happened with Gilda and Trixie.
"...Yeah. I still remember when Gilda ended up telling the whole school we were dating. I guess we had to break up to keep a reputation. We're still friends though, but it's kind of awkward..." Thunder said.
"Don't worry! Your secret safe with us!"
Wait, did she just say US? Thunder thought as he saw 5 girls walk out of the shadows.
"Well, as much as I hate the Dazzlings, and don't think they deserve a chance, the secret'll be safe with me." Rainbow said.
"Um... your secret's safe with us..." Fluttershy whispered.
"Whah, it's safe with all of us! Even though ah think you should leave um for dead..." Applejack said.
"Well, you forgave me so, I'll forgive them. As long as they don't try anything, we'll be good." Sunset said.
"Why, although what rather did was quite uncivilized, I'll attempt to keep this a secret. " Rarity said.
"Thanks, all of you. Try not to tell the whole school just yet. I'm not sure how they're gonna take this." Thunder said.
Just then, a figure appeared from the shadows to Thunder's sight.
"Flash, I know this'll be hard for you too, considering what they made you say to her. I don't care how you take this. Just please keep this to yourself."
"Okay, Thunder. I think you're right, by the way." Flash said as he walked from the shadows.
"You do?" They all asked.
"Yeah. Sunset was being treated like trash since after the Formal and when we gave her a chance, look at what she did in 3 months. They do deserve at least a chance ."
"Thanks, Flash." Thunder said in relief.
Then, Thunder saw a form of a phone with a red light flashing.
Everything was being recorded.
As Thunder grabbed the phone, he noticed it had a wand in front. Trixie's trademark.
"Great! Now what?" Rainbow asked.
"Simple." Thunder quickly deleted the video.
Just then, the bell rang. Thunder put the phone on its resting place as they walked to their next class.
"You're not going to tell anyone?" Sunset asked.
"Let them have their fun. Honestly, ever since you reformed, Gilda and Trixie practically ruled the school."
"Well, there's nothing we can do about it. All we CAN do is make sure we guard Thunder's secret with our lives." Rainbow said.
Meanwhile, Trixie was watching from the shadows.
"We'll see about that!" She whispered.
Adagio and Aria were working while Sonata was taking orders for customers.
"So, what's the plan?" Aria whispered.
"What?" Adagio asked.
"How do we get our amulets back?" Aria asked.
"We need to kick Thunder out once we do. He'll just slow us down, maybe even stop us. Well, I heard that Sunset Shimmer is able to communicate with Twilight in Equestria. All we need to do is find the device, the portal, and get our brothers' amulets..." Adagio said with a smirk.
"What does that mean?" Aria asked as she was frying burgers.
"It means their mind control amulets! The ones that they use to control others instantly! No singing, no arguing. Just one use and anyone in a mile-radius is ours to command! Not only that, but they can spread it through said victim! All they need is to see through the victim, know when he's around others, and use it as if it was us, and bam! Instant army!" Adagio said as she noticed the overcooked burgers.
"Why didn't we use those before?" Aria asked.
"Well, we needed to find our brothers to get them. And unless they walk through those doors, that'll be a challenge. Also, knowing them, we might need to pay a fortune. But when we get our hands on their amulets, it'll pay off AMAZINGLY!" Adagio then fried the burger to a crisp.
"Well, I feel sorry for that hobo..." Aria whispered.
Sonata heard what they were saying and felt conflicted. She knew she had to make a choice. Power or friends?
Some time later as the customers grabbed their food, a specific person was next in line.
"What's this I hear about "bigger brothers"?"
Trixie was meeting with Gilda after school to discuss what they found.
"What do we do?" Trixie asked.
"Let him be. For now. We already wreaked Thunder's life with Sunset Shimmer. Let's let him be, then if they try anything, we tell the media! We'll be millionaires!" Gilda said.
"And if they DON'T try anything?"
"They will... They will..." Gilda said.
"What makes you say that?" Trixie asked only to see three figures in the shadows.
"Who are they?" She asked.
"Oh, we're their older brothers. We have a proposal to make..." The orange male said.
"What do you have to offer?" Trixie asked.
"As long as you keep our existence a little secret, and you go with us to Equestria, we'll reward you two with most of this world and instant fame. Better than if you report our baby sisters for some pathetic arguments they caused..." The purple male said.
"Who are you?" Trixie asked.
"I'm Allegro Tempo, Adagio's brother. This is Brio Anthem, Aria's brother, and this is Sonatina Choir, Sonata's brother."
They noticed the two other figures. Brio had a biker jacket, hair similar but not as long as Aria's, and dark rings on each finger. As for Sonatina, he had a dark blue sweater, sunglasses on top of his head, and the same ditziness as Sonata.
"'Sup?" Brio asked as if he didn't care where he was or who he was talking to.
"Hi!" Sonatina said as if he had no idea what was going on.
"Well, when do we start?" Trixie asked.
"As soon Adagio and Aria arrive." Allegro said.
"How 'bout Sonata?" Sonatina asked.
"She called out. She said something about 'a new chance' or whatever." Brio said.
"Thunder? We need to talk." Sonata said.
"Yeah?" Thunder asked.
"My sisters, they moved out. Also... my older brothers are alive."
"Older brothers?" Thunder asked.
"Listen, Gilda and Trixie are teaming up with them to take over here and Equestria. They're going to use my brothers' amulets to use mind control."
Thunder stood there in shock, his police jacket now holding a taser.
Never... Thunder thought.
"So, what happens now?" Thunder asked.
"We need to tell the others. I hope they have mercy on me..." Sonata said.
"I knew these girls for a year. Trust me, they'll give you a chance."
I Live With The Dazzlings
The moon started rising from the west, Sonata and Thunder were waiting in a party room in Sugarcube with the comfort of Thunder's aunt and uncle.
"We understand what you did. We also understand why our nephew trusts you." Mrs. Cake said.
They took their seats and watched as Sunset, Rainbow, and Applejack walked in and took their seats.
“You said you wanted to talk?” Sunset asked.
“Yeah. Something’s coming Sunset. There’s gonna be a war.” Thunder said as serious as the academy taught him.
“What are you talkin’ ‘bout?” Applejack asked.
“Sonata?”
“My sisters are teaming up with our brothers and Gilda and Trixie to take over here and Equestria.” Sonata said.
“WHAT?” The three said in perfect unison.
“How do we know YOU ain’t with ‘em?” Applejack asked.
“They didn’t tell me or even talk to me since they came up with the plan earlier today.”
“I wish I could believe you, but I can’t. Not after the Batt-”
“How about Sunset and the Fall Formal? I was one of those zombie things too, but then we started dating. Sure, we broke up, but that doesn’t make this right. We need to work together this time.” Thunder snapped to the others, mostly Rainbow Dash.
“Okay, so now what? We just sweep this under the rug?” Sunset asked.
“No. Me and Sonata are moving here and watching what the Dazzlings come up with. All we can do is wait.” Thunder said.
“What we need to do is call Twilight. Get Equestria ready for whatever’s coming next. If I know Princess Celestia well, she’ll send her here to help us survive this.” Sunset said.
"Deal." Thunder said.
The group waited... and waited.
"That's odd. Twilight's never tardy... Something's wrong." Sunset said.
"Okay, I'll go to Celestia, tell her what's going on. Sunset, you warn others at CHS, get them to a safe place. Rainbow, you go to the bus and wait for the students and faculty. AJ, you tell the rest of town. We need to clear the city as soon as we can." Thunder plotted.
"What about you and the Dazzlin's?" Applejack asked.
"Me and Sonata'll have to move back here for now." Thunder said to the cowgirl.
"Alright then. When did they say they were gonna do this?" Rainbow asked.
"As soon as they find something to exchange for their amulets to duplicate for all of them." Sonata said.
2 HOURS EARLIER
"What can we give to them?" Aria asked Adagio as she paced through drawers, hoping anything valuable will appear in mid-air,
"I don't know! Maybe we can sacrifice knowledge of Equestria to them. After all, we know more about here than they do, and we only want Earth." Adagio said.
So, they snuck into CHS and found Sunset Shimmer's locker. When they picked it, they noticed a book with a symbol on it. They decided to grab it and close the locker with no sign of evidence. When they got home, they read the book and noticed that it had messages to Equestria.
"Get our brothers on the phone." Aria.
The phone was picked up by Allegro and passed to Aria.
"Allegro, we have a great idea... Meet me at the alleyway in 4 hours." Aria said evilly as she hung up the phone.
"What's your idea?" Adagio asked interested in the plan.
"We're gonna pay Celestia's little pet a little visit..." Aria snickered venomously as she grabbed the book from Sunset Shimmer's locker.
PRESENT DAY
As Thunder and Sonata were packing, the door knocked loudly.
"Thunder, Sonata. Adagio just pulled up. Hurry!" Sunset whispered.
They packed quickly and ran to the back exit as Adagio unlocked the door.
"They left." Adagio said in a careless tone.
"They would just slow us down anyway." Aria said.
Thunder and Sonata hopped in the van and they drove to Sugarcube with the others.
"Well, that was painful with 50 pounds on your back." Thunder joked.
"Yeah. But still, how come Twilight hasn't said a word yet? It's not like her. Something's wrong." Sunset panicked.
"Calm down. All we can do is bind our time and wait for an opening." Thunder said.
"I'll go to Equestria later today. I'll tell Celestia and Luna what's happening at CHS, then I'll go to Canterlot and warn Celestia and find Twilight." Sunset said.
"Alright, but you're not going alone. I'm coming with you." Thunder said.
"No. I need you to get to the station's armory. I have a feeling we're gonna need weapons before the Dazzlings hit it." Sunset said.
Stop being so confident. Thunder thought to himself.
"Fine. But someone's going with you. Flash?" Thunder asked.
"Okay, then." Flash approached without hesitation.
“You sure? You don’t have to go.” Thunder said.
“The fact that something could have happened to Twilight gives me every reason to go.” Flash said as he grabbed his guitar and placed it in his locker.
“Flash, come here.” Thunder then handed Flash his radio.
“If anything happens, try calling 22.5. That’s the other radio.” Thunder said.
"Sure thing. Thanks." Flash said as he walked out the door.
"Are you sure this will work?" Sonata asked.
"Yeah. It has to." Thunder said as he changed the radio channel to 22.5.
Flash and Sunset were face to face with the portal.
"When we get through, let me do the talking." Sunset said.
"That was kind of what I had in mind." Flash said as he walked closer.
When the two were whirled out of the portal, they saw that the others were worried.
"Twilight, is that you?" Spike asked.
"No. It's me and Flash." Sunset said.
"Where IS she? She's been gone for DAYS!" Rainbow said.
"Wait, what? When did she disappear?" Flash asked worried.
"Friday. She said she needed to grab something and never came back." Fluttershy said.
"Now what?" Sunset asked.
"First order of business, we need to warn them of the brothers." Flash said.
"What do you mean?" Celestia asked.
"Celestia, there are 3 male sirens. They've struck a deal with the others for their amulets. If we don't stop them, they'll rule Equestria and Earth." Sunset said.
"We need to fortify Equestria and prepare for war. Get Shining Armor." Celestia said pacing towards the gates.
"Yes, your majesty." A guard said as he ran out the castle.
"Now, we need to get all of CHS here, maybe even the city. Contact Thunder and tell him to contact the CCPD." Sunset told Flash.
"Sure." Flash pulled out the radio. "Thunder, tell CCPD to get people to Equestria." Flash said to the other side.
"I hear you." Thunder put his radio on his belt and headed to the car.
"Contacting on duty officers, we have a code red. I repeat, we have a code red. Report to Canterlot High as soon as you can. Good luck officers." Thunder announced to the other patrol cars as he drove to the station to get supplies.
I Live With The Dazzlings
As busses of people were brought to the portal, Thunder saw as something was slowly moving forward.
"What's that?" He asked the other officers.
"Looks like a prison bus. Looks like we forgot to warn them. We'll have to do it later." Chief Shining said.
"Yeah..." Thunder said.
"So, you were their roommate for a week, huh?" Shining asked.
"Yeah." Thunder responded.
He heard as his chief chuckled.
"What is it?" Thunder asked.
"It's just... You were someone who sniffed danger a mile away. The thought of you with them just creeps me out."
"I can think why..." Thunder said.
As the day went on, more citizens were asked to leave to Equestria for safety. A man showed denial.
"This is our home, we can't leave!"
"Son, we have a potential apocalypse on our tail. We can't have people getting hurt." Thunder said calmly.
The man put this under consideration. After a solid minute of silence, the man nodded and packed his things.
"Nice work." Sunset said.
"We can't leave people here." Thunder said.
"Hey. We're finally alone..." Sunset realized.
"Yeah. I still remember when you were a... you know..."
"Witch?" Sunset asked.
"Well, that's one way of putting it." Thunder said.
Their talk was cut short as another prison bus came driving down the road...
As Adagio shined a light in the dim room, their new victim woke from her sleeping spell.
"Good morning, Princess ." Adagio said in a crooked smile.
"Who... Where...?"
"Hello, Twilight. Welcome to the Endgame!" Allegro said as he entered the room.
"Who are you?" Twilight asked in a faint voice.
"Oh, where are my manners? My name is Allegro Tempo. I am Adagio's brother."
"Adagio?!" Twilight asked in a fright.
"Hello, Twilight." She said evilly.
"What do you want with me?" Twilight asked.
"Oh, it's not what we want, it's what you want. You see, we've been waiting a long time to meet you, Twilight."
Really? Adagio thought.
"Why?" Twilight asked.
"We know every little thing you've ever done. Saving Princess Luna, Defeating and redeeming Discord, fighting an entire fleet of Changlings, dealing with two evil dictators, and a crazy religious town. We figured you might want to know more about your queen." Allegro said.
"Who, Celestia? I know enough!" Twilight said.
"Oh, but do you know everything ? That's what you want, right? To know everything?"
Twilight started relaxing.
"What do you mean?"
"If I told you everything now, you might die of fear, so I'll show you a little."
With that, Allegro's eyes turned glowing red and Twilight saw a kingdom with a throne room. What she saw was a female siren with a pony baby in her hoofs.
"What'll we do? We can't hide from her burning sun!" The female cried.
"I will take her. We can raise her in Canterlot." A male siren said.
"Her home town?! No! She needs to be raised with her own kind!" The female said.
"She can't! She could be hunted down and destroyed. I can do a spell to blend her in with the Princess's kind." With that, the male used a spell to turn the baby into a unicorn with a purple coat, a dark purple mane with small strains of pink, and green eyes.
"That's... That's..." Twilight said in shock and awe.
"Yes. You. You are the heir of the Queen of The Sirens," Allegro changed from a proud tone to a saddened tone. "But... it gets worse from here..."
As Twilight watched, the male siren placed the baby in a basked and teleported it to Canterlot. Then, a shining light burned through the walls.
"Celestia, please. We can still live together." The king said.
What stood before the king, was a princess in full battle armor, a crown on her head, and a flowing rainbow mane.
"Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"They can't hear or see you... Watch." Allegro said.
"Tell that to Star Swirl, vermin." Celestia said.
Then, a shining light shone and the sirens screamed for mercy before being silenced. What remained when the light died were ashes.
Twilight had her hands on her mouth as tears started to pour.
"I'm... I'm..."
"You are a SIREN. The princess of the sirens." Brio said.
Then, the scene changed to Canterlot. The baby, or SHE, was placed in a doorstep. The door was knocked by a shadowed figure. A lady, Night Velvet, Twilight's mom, answered only to see the basket with Twilight in it.
The whole scene disappeared and Twilight stood with her restraints off.
"That's only the beginning, my dear. You see, that day, the entire siren population was wiped out. But us." Allegro said.
"What do you want with me?" Twilight asked again with her voice cracking.
"Oh, Twilight, we want nothing with you. Unless..." Allegro held up one of the 9 amulets up to her.
Twilight immediately realized what he wanted. She was stuck at making a decision: she wasn't able to choose as the Sirens were scared off by gunshots. Thunder and Sunset were in front of her.
"Twilight! We've been worried sick. Come on, let's go." Sunset said.
And when we get back, me and Celestia have a long talk. Twilight thought to herself as they drove back home.
