Nopony would ever forget the fall of Equestria. The rulers of the Crystal Empire and the Royal Sisters alongside the Mane Six had fallen while Equestria got taken over by the revived King Sombra. Now, it's up to six new ponies: The daughter of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor who isn't even supposed to exist, Princess Celestia's former student, a former Royal Guard, an explorer/writer, a redeemed prince, and a model, to team up together and save Equestria from King Sombra's reign of terror.
