T.I.M.E. For a Prologue
1- A Prologue of a Prologue
Load Full StoryNext ChapterTime. Time is involved with anything you do, whether it’s being late to class or aging. However it also can be used figuratively. History, for example, shows that time is used figuratively. The greatest and worst moments of history involve time. Moments like The Great War and points in the Discordian period have acts of valor that will forever be remembered.
But what if moments that involve bad things could be changed? Yes, if you changed all those said things then it would make a large change in the present. To start off on a few minor, simple examples: What if you could go back and turn in that paper you forgot, or go get back at those mean bullies in third grade? This is where a certain agency comes into play.
Now, obviously, the agency deals with bigger problems. Like successful assassinations and wars that shouldn’t even have started. This agency goes by the name of T.I.M.E. Which stands for Travelers In and throughout the Millennia of Equestria, if you wanted to know that is.
This brings us to the start of the said agency, created by two individuals that were brought together in the most peculiar of ways. These individuals would go on to create one of the greatest agencies of all time. But one would wonder how the group started, yes? Well this is a story for just that thought. Lets start off with the co-founder Quantum, QT was her nickname, and how she met the other founder. If I recall correctly she was seventeen at the time. Or maybe she was fifteen. No, sixteen. But- Bah, who cares?
Lets begin.
Quantum wanted to believe she had lived a regular life up until ‘the incident.' Yeah, she was the daughter of Twilight Sparkle. Yeah, she was the heir to the throne. And yeah, she was a certified genius like her mother. But other than those things she totally was a normal mare. She wanted to marry a prince and have kids, have him climb up to her terrace and pronounce his love to her. Or maybe even go on an amazing adventure to find true love. But she’d even suffice for someone that’d do anything for her.
She wanted to make an impact on history, her own little footnote. She wanted to do something that Equestrians would forever remember. Something that would take her out of the shadow of her mom, but don't take that the wrong way. She loved her mom and looked up to her in every way possible. Except when it came to advice on stallions. She never was very good at that.
Then 'the incident' happened. It changed her life, for better or for worse was the big question. She was laying in her bed at the time, minding her own business, and doing some homework. Slowly that is, having no horn was definitely cumbersome. She hears it's amazing from her mom. All. The. Time. Anyways, she was on her bed doing her homework. Then bam! There's a stallion.
Now, one would think that a mare would very much want a stallion in her room. Quantum definitely wouldn’t have minded if he hadn’t just appeared through a rift in space. At least that’s what it looked like. A big slice in front of her. It was like the universe was behind it, pretty peaceful until the stallion popped out. It closed after he came out. Shame. She was hoping she could've thrown him back in.
He wasn’t ugly or anything, he was actually quite handsome. His light brown mane went well with his short tail and tan colored coat. Again, one would think that she would be overjoyed that she had a stallion in her room. Or maybe disgusted. Depends on who you ask. The situation turned for the worse as he had used her as his landing platform.
It also didn’t help that he was unconscious. But how would you know Quantum? Well this stallion was on top of her and it really didn’t help with her emotions, to be vague. She was a growing teenager. After all, she had just gotten her license. With him being on top, ha ha yeah laugh it up perverts, she could feel his breath. It was fairly light, but still, it was adorable for some reason. If he wasn’t some random stranger, possibly stalker, she’d consider his content face cute.
She considered moving him, but if he woke while she was moving him he might assume she was an enemy and attack. On the other hoof by not moving him he might get the wrong idea and use the position to his advantage. Oh don’t look so innocent you know exactly what he could do.
This left her in a peculiar position, pun not intended. She decided that it would be best to at least move him off her to the bedside. She had to be careful though, she really didn't want the stallion to wake until she was ready for him to.
Quantum moved slowly, letting the stallion slide off her and onto the soft silk covers. Hey, her mom owns a castle, of course the covers are going to be silk. She then shifted over to the other side of the bed, the right side to be specific. She did like this particular side because she was able to fall asleep facing the tall glass doors that led to the terrace. It provided a great view of the stars and moon and she loved it for that.
She turned to face the stallion. It seemed like he wouldn’t harm her, once he woke up that is. Then there was the snoring, did she mention the stallion snores? That would be challenging if she was going to hide him. She sighed, yeah that’d be a problem, but this was probably the best option until she found out how to explain it to her mom.
Then the knock came.
