The Harmony Theft

I slowly opened my eyes a little.

"Mommy, is he going to be okay?" I closed them again. I slowly opened them a little again and I was surrounded by doctors. I closed them. I opened them fully. I heard sobbing.

"I'm sorry, but he might not wake up. It's best if we pull the plug, let him die. He wouldn't want to live like this." I groaned a little. I tried to sit up but everything hurt.

"Gahh!"

"RYAN!" I looked to see Rarity, she wasn't wearing any make-up, her hair was a mess, and she looked like she hadn't bathed or slept in weeks.

"W-what...happened...?" I looked over to the doctor pony.

"You are very lucky to be alive." He said. "You are also a hero." He smiled. "You should have seen all the worried ponies who wanted to see you. The whole town was at the door to make sure you were okay."

"W-what...?"

"Ryan," Rarity said. "You saved the town! Everypony loves you!"

"R-Rare..." I said. "L-look at you... You are a mess..." I felt so weak.

"We all look like this," Rarity said. "Me, Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, and Twilight. Poor Twilight hasn't come out of her house since three days ago."

"H-how long was I out?"

"Five days." The doctor said.

"F-five..." I felt my strength return slowly. I have been out for five days? From what Rarity said, Twilight seemed heart broken that I was in this condition. "Gahhh!" Everything still hurt. "Do you have anything to help with the pain?"

"Hold on." The doctor gave me a pill. I took it. "You should be good in a couple minutes."

"Thanks doc." I looked at Rarity. "So...how bad ass was I out there?" Rarity rolled her eyes.

"Twilight," I heard Dash said. "Come out."

"N-no." Twilight said, continuing her sobbing. I slowly opened the door. I saw the four ponies on the base of the stairs. They all looked at me. I motioned them to stay quite. I made my way up the stairs. I tired the door handle, locked. "I SAID GO AWAY DASH!"

"Okay, okay," I said. "I'll just wait." The sobbing stopped. I heard the door unlock and it opened. I smiled a little. "I see you are ready then." I almost started laughing.

"R-Ryan?" Twilight said.

"Yes?" I almost fell down the stairs from the hug she gave me. She was now a pony again, so she jumped up in her hind legs and wrapped her front legs around my chest and started sobbing into my tunic. "OH RYAN!" She sobbed. She was hugging me so tightly.

"T-Twi...broken...ribs...tight...hug...can't...breath..." She leg go.

"Oops! Sorry, sorry!"

"It's okay." We walked down stairs. I turned to her again. The feeling of a hoof back handing (back hoofing?) me exploded across my left right cheek, followed by another hug.

"You are so stupid!" Twilight yelled into my tunic. "How could you do that?! You almost got your self killed!"

"Twilight..." I said. "I wasn't about to let Darkhammer hurt anypony."

"Who?" Dash asked.

"Hmm? Oh! That thing looked like Darkhammer from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. He was the mini-boss in Snowpeak Ruins that you get the ball and chain from. It had the same armor, weak spot, weapon and everything. I just didn't expect it to attack with its tail. Guess because that was a game and this was real life." Twilight hugged me tighter. She got off me and I got a good look at her. Her mane and tail were matted, she looked like she had been none stop since she locked her self in her room, her eyes were blood shot from all the crying, she had heavy bags under her eyes, she looked...and smelled like she hadn't showered in days. The smell hit me. "Whoa...Twi...I think you should shower...not to be rude, but you smell bad. Like sweat and tears bad." She blushed.

"Sorry." She smiled sheepishly. She looked at everypony else in the room. "I guess we all could." She opened her mouth to say something. then I felt something jump up on my back.

"RYAN!" Spike yelled into my ear. "Man! Am I glad to see you! I was worried sick that you wouldn't pull through. Both Twilight and Rarity were heartbroken that you were hurt as bad as you were. All the other ponies as well. I just say Twilight and Rarity because I was trying to comfort them a lot." I picked Spike up of me and held him in front of me. "I missed ya man." He said. I smiled as he said that.

"I missed ya too Spike." I said. I set him down. "Well? I'm gonna be here my whole life, freshen up you guys!" All but Twilight and Spike, this being where they live, left and said goodbye. Twilight went to go take a shower. Me and Spike talked a little. Twilight came out of the shower with a towel around her.

"Princess Celestia wants to see you. We need to go to Canterlot right away. I also got a letter from my parents saying they want to meet you." Oh great. A girls parents wanting to meet you was important. Even though I had a marefriend already, it still meant a lot.

"Okay, in what order?"

"My parents first, because it is on the way. We need to go now." The shower was too small for me, and apparently they give sponge baths here in the hospitals so I was good. They told me I got one before I woke up. I didn't have time to mend my tunic, so it was still a little beat up. I looked in a mirror. My face was okay. Good. I wanted to look my best. I made my way to the train. Well, I tried. I was bombarded my ponies...again.

"Are you okay?!"

"You are a hero!"

"Love me!"

"Stay! We might need saving again!"

"You looked so awesome fighting that thing!"

"My hero!" I shut them all out and got on the train. It was just me, Twi, Dash, Pinkie, Applejack, Rare, and Flutter.
