The Harmony Theft

Ahhh Canterlot! The nice air, the nice buildings, and the snobby bitch ponies.

"Monster!" I so wanted to pull my sword out and go to town. I held back though.

"Twilight!" I turned to see two ponies walking to us.

"Mom! Dad!" Guessing on what they said, they must be Twilights parents. I walked over to them with Twilight.

"I'm guessing this is him." Mrs. Sparkle said.

"Depending on who this his is." I said.

"The one who saved ponyvile."

"Then that is me."

"Its nice to meet you." Mr. Sparkle said. At least they weren't dicks. That's good. We talked for a while, every now and then I would get a "complement" on my clothing. I almost flipped and pulled my sword out, but I stopped my self. I had to keep my cool around Twi's parents. I guess they could tell I was getting pissed, because they suggested we go to their house. I almost ran there to save those ponies, but I walked along side them. They wanted to know everything about me. What my name was, where I was living at the moment, what I used to do and all that stuff. I had a feeling Mrs. Sparkle was gonna ask me about my parents, but Twi must have known it, because she changed the topic. Then Mr. Sparkle was the one to say it.

"So Ryan, how is your family?" I almost dropped my sword I holding, I was showing them what I used to kill Darkhammer. The whole room was silent. I swear you could have heard a pin drop on carpet. I sighed.

"Not...N...Not a subject...I like to talk...bout..." Was all I could say. I could tell her was going to ask why, but I think he saw the tear in my eye and shut his mouth.

After a little while longer, we thanked Twilights parents for having us over and made our way to the castle. I saw a guard who i escaped from when I stole Twilights element. I felt really awkward just looking at him. He gave me a glare, and I gave him a sheepish smile. He made his way over to me. "YOU!" He said. "You have some real nerve coming here!"

"Shit man calm down!" I said. "Look, no hard feelings okay?"

"NO HARD FEELINGS?!" He screamed. "YOU-"

"Calm down!" Twilight said. "He's okay Proud. He didn't know what he was doing."

"He didn't know that he was stealing? He must be stupid then!" I already wanted this pony gone. He was pushing my nice guy away.

"Ya retard." I said. "The fact the the first beings I met here took me prisoner and hurt me kinda made me thought that you guys where the bad ones. The Changelings took me in and didn't hurt me, so I thought they where good."

"THAT IS ENOUGH!" Twilight screamed. "Both of you stop acting like foals!" She turned to Proud. "Take back what you said."

"TAKE IT BACK PROUD!" He looked scared. I didn't blame him. I was pretty shocked too. He just spat on the ground and walked away.

"I swear the next time I see him I'm gonna kill-"

"Stop it!" She took a deep breath, no doubt to calm down. "We are going to see the Princesses. Put that sword away and lets go." I did as she said and followed her. We went to the throne room. I had calmed down a little bit, but I still wanted this Proud guys guts on the floor. I then saw the two now earth ponies. And again, I instantly felt bad again. I did that to them.

"Hello Ryan," Celestia said. "Please excuse Proud. He's just a little-"

"Butt hurt?" I asked.

"Hmm?"

"Butt hurt." I said. "He's really upset because he let me get away. I was going to say salty, but butt hurt I thought would be better."

"Anyway." Luna said. "We called you hear because we heard from Twilight, that you killed something that you called 'Darkhammer' with that sword me and my sister gave you. We have talked, and we think that you are truly the one."

"Err...The one what?"

"The one that will save us." Celestia said. "All this Changeling chaos, was given to me as a vision from my sister. In the dream, I saw nothing I had never had seen before, you...as you look now." I half expected her to tell me my name is really Link and all that shit, but no luck. "First, the form I saw started with confusion with this place, then it turned to hate towards my ponies...then love and caring for one, and hate for the others. This love...towards the one I banished, Blue Jay. Is this true?" I was speechless. she knew about me and Blue?

"Y...yes... It is."

"Then, that hate for all turned to loyalty and kindness and friendship, and your love for the Changelings vanished and replaced with rage." She was right. I hated those fuckers! "In the vision, this being saved Equestria, but at a cost."

"What cost?" I asked.

"Its life." I didn't know what to think. I was going...to die?

"This was just a dream," I said. "I'm not going to die."

"These visions have always come true. I'm sorry. You will fall in battle against another of your kind."

"There is another here. He calls himself Darkness. He will stop at nothing until Equestria is under his control."

"I wont die." I said. "You'll see! I'll kick this fucker Darkness' face in, with my sword!" Celestia shook her head.

"You may kill him, but he will still slay you as well."

"You are trying to tell me that we are gonna pull a Halo?"

"Its a video game back home. Its when you kill each other at the same time."

"Okay..." I was going to die? No way...not gonna happen.

"Who is this, Blue Jay?" Twilight said.

"I'll let Ryan tell you." Celestia said.

"But later," Luna said. "Ryan, if you can pass the test we give you, we will grant you to power of the chosen one." I nodded.

"What test?" I asked.

"It will test your power, wisdom, courage." And the three elements of the tri-force. I half expected them to say my name was actually Link and I was the chosen hero by the gods. "The test begins when you sleep." What?

"Err...what?" I said, confused. "I'm confuzzled. What do you mean?" They looked at me. "Confused."

"Luna will send the test to you in your sleep. Your mind will make up what it is. Once you complete the test, if you do, which I have no doubt that you will pass, we will bestow upon you the powers of the Guardian of Equestria." Great...a test...oh well.

"I will pass this test." I said. "And I'll look damn good doing it too."
