Previous ChapterGalloping for some distance longer, Flowering finally stopped. Panting heavily Flowering continued on, walking though. A few minutes later she stopped in front of a giant white building with the words Manehatten Grand Ballet craved in the front. Flowering thought back to the time she first saw this building. Back then she had just been excepted into the academy. Flowering remembered how she was wonder struck by the building that was going to be her new home for the next few years. Smiling Flowering entered inside. Sighing with pleasure as she crossed the plush red carpet of the front entry, Flowering looked longingly down the hall that held the studio's. Frowning crossly at the sign that read Closed for Remodeling, Flowering walked over to the stairs on the other side of the room that lead to the private quarters. Climbing the stairs, Flowering crossed the hallway and opened the last door to enter her room. Inside the room the walls were a muted pink, and the bed spread was a lime green. Flowering had hung up posters of famous ballet dancers all over the room. Sitting next to her bed was her worn out ballet bag filled with all her shoes and various supplies. Knowing she only had a few minutes Flowering grabbed her bag and trotted back down the stairs. Crossing the hall Flowering made her way past the dratted sign and into the studio. Once inside Flowering quickly changed into her pointe shoes. Luckily only the mirrors had been taken out and not the marely floor or she wouldn't have been able to dance at all. Having put her shoes on Flowering made her way to CD player in the corner that was connected to speakers above. Putting in her favorite CD and pressing play, Flowering quickly went to the middle of the floor to start. When the music started Flowering started dancing. Leaping and turning and jumping across the floor, Flowering felt herself being lost to the hold of the music. Giving over complete control to the music, Flowering closed her eyes and let herself enjoy this feeling of complete freedom and joy she had. Flowering had been dancing for several minutes before she heard soft hooves applauding her. Snapping out of her trance Flowering turned to face the intruder.
"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry Madame."
The intruder, who turned out to be Madame Sonnet, simply laughed.
"Flowering my dear I should be the one apologizing. That performance was magnificent my dear, and don't worry about intruding many other girls have committed this crime, myself including."
Flowering gave a surprised face at this new piece of information.
"Yes my dear we have all been on tiptoes waiting for it to be done and some just can't wait."
Flowering gaped at her teacher for a second before bursting out laughing, and soon her teacher joined her. After a few minutes they both calmed down enough to speak.
"Thank you Madame Sonnet for telling me this I'm afraid I would be quite guilty afterwords if not for this surprising revelation. "
Flowering gave her a relieved smile. Madame Sonnet smiled a warm motherly smile at her.
"Come Flowering, I believe it is time for lunch and your probably hungry."
Seconds later, Flowerings stomach growled loudly. Laughing Flowering took off her shoes and joined her teacher in walking to the dining room for lunch.
