The Equestrian Space Exploration Program

It has been 4 Years after the Kerbals first arrived in Equestria,

Twilight Sparkle has been researching 'Rocketry' since the kerbals had left because of one thing.

The Blueprint they left behind.

Twilight Sparkle had almost no budget only relying on her friend's support (Mainly Rainbow Dash's).

Twilight Sparkle had been experimenting with rocketry that she made following the blueprints the Kerbals left behind and also using Rainbow Dash as a 'Test Pony' to help test the new rockets (Mainly because it was 20% Cooler than normal flying).

"5...4....3....2....1!" said Twilight over the comms link,

"Wait, what about the safet- WHOOAH!" Rainbow Dash said as she lifted into the air with such force and speed,

"Wooo!" Rainbow Dash Shouted over the comms link as she flew threw the air at a remarkable 350m/(1).

"Uh oh..." said Twilight over the comms link,

"I think the engine exploded" she said as she panicked that one of her friends plumeted from the skies nearing the ground.

"Press the big red button Dashie!" Twilight screamed out in fear.

"OKAY! OKAY! OKAY!" Rainbow Dash screamed pushing the button frantically as she was getting closer to the ground.

The parachute deployed and Rainbow Dash was happy to actually still be alive, Twilight had the same amount of fear too.

The pod still managed to survive (Because of Twilight's extra crash redundancy spell) and Rainbow Dash was still helping Twilight despite the faliure a few minutes ago.

After a few months Twilight made a new rocket, that she was 'sure' that it wouldn't blow up, and could also reach space.

Twilight gave Rainbow Dash some supplies and a camera to record what was going on so she could send it to Celestia and Luna to get actual funding for an 'Equestrian Space Exploraion Program' that they obviously couldn't afford.

Once again, Twilight counted down,

"5...4...3....2...1!" the rocket launched into the air as Rainbow Dash was praying that the rocket wouldn't fall apart.

"Okay, What do I do now?" Rainbow Dash Asked,

"I have no fuel left" she added.

"Have you tried pressing SPACE?" Twilight replied.

"Oh, that's how you do it" said Rainbow Dash as she started accelerating even more.

"SPACE!! YAY!" Both Twilight and Rainbow Dash were screaming as Rainbow Dash approached space.

"Did you take photos?" Twilight asked.

"Um, Uh... wait.. oh yeah, I did! It looks, so... beautiful..." Rainbow Dash Replied,

"Good!" Twilight said in a mixture of excitement and being firm.

Rainbow Dash was feeling goosebumps as she started to fall back down.

"Are you sure I'll survive THIS time?" Rainbow Dash said in fear as she started to fall.

"I'm sure you will, I put a 'Double Crash Redundancy' spell on it." Twilight said trying to calm Rainbow Dash down,

"Do the same procedures like before" she added to relax Rainbow Dash More.

The craft was moving at 2500m/s during reentry and Rainbow Dash was so astonished on how fast she was going.

"When do I press it?" Rainbow Dash said whislt crashing to the surface,

"At 6000m above the surface, or atleast when the flames go away" Twilight advised.

Rainbow Dash made it to the surface, being very happy because she went to space. First!

Twilight and Rainbow were so excited to tell the princesses about what they discovered.
