The Equestrian Space Exploration Program

Twilight and Rainbow Dash went to the Princess's castle to show them what they discovered,

"That's an amazing achievement Twilight!" Said Celestia,

"Could you go to thou Moon?" asked Luna.

"Maybe..." Twilight answered,

"I think we can!" she added.

Funding from Celestia and Luna started as Twilight researched even more from the tiny piece of paper.

A giant building for constructing rockets was built and funding was being poured onto the Equestrian Space Exploration Program.

"Rainbow, you are ready for launch for the Luna 1!" Said Twilight,

"Press the launch button!" Added Twilight.

"Okay Twilight, Let's go! I'm ready for liftoff!" Rainbow Dash replied

"5....4....3....2....1! WE HAVE LIFTOFF!" Twilight shouted with glee.

"Stage 1 seperation!" Shouted Twilight.

"Still going up!" Cheered Rainbow Dash.

The Rocket went up into orbit, onto its way to the Moon.

"We're so close!" Twilight cheered.

Unfortunately, the rocket ran out of fuel so they plumetted back to the planet.

"Uh oh!" Screamed Rainbow Dash,

"What the hay happened?" she shouted.

"Relax..." Twilight said to attempt to calm her down,

"You're on a sub-orbital trajectory and you're only falling!" she added.

"Uh oh!" said Rainbow Dash,

"I'm FALLING!" she panicked.

The pod entered the atmosphere at ridiculous speeds and Rainbow Dash was too scared to do anything.

"PRESS THE BUTTON!" Twilight screamed.

"OK OK OK OK" Rainbow screamed.

Rainbow Dash landed but with a big thud and shook poor Rainbow Dash.

"Are you okay?" Twilight asked.

"I think so..." Rainbow Dash replied in a confused way.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash both went to Celestia and Luna's castle to show them the pictures and stories Rainbow Dash took.

"I nearly got to the Moon!" Rainbow Dash said,

"Did you see my Moon dust castle?" Luna asked,

"No, we haven't landed yet." Twilight replied.

News spread about Rainbow Dash's Close encounter with the Moon and the papers sold like hotcakes. Rainbow Dash was the first pony to take close pictures of the Moon.
